Probably easiest renewal in over 20 years as an appraiser. Received quote in 1 day and paid it immediately. Saw that check had cleared within 3 days, emailed my contact to please send my Certificate via email so I could notify AMCs and not risk lapse in coverage (due Feb 1st, 2024). Service has been great. My one small complaint is that the free continuing education classes you offer dont change often enough. Of the 3 classes you are currently offering, 2 are ones I took the last time for my CE requirements. In Washington State an appraiser cannot get CE credit for the same class taken for the previous license cycle. For me, the free CE classes have been been a big plus along with the good service Ive received from OREP.

When I went shopping for E&O coverage I made contact with OREP and the person I talked to was very helpful. After filling out the application on line and sending it in with my payment I received my policy within 2-days. Usually I had to wait months after making my payment to receive my declaration page so that I can send to my clients. The rates I found for me were slightly lower than the rate I was paying. Due to family emergency, my final payment on a 2 year policy wasnt paid. I paid the final payment online after due date and they still canceled my policy. 2 months later I still havent received a refund. I have emailed and contacted them numerous times and absolutely no response. They didnt even honor 1 full year of insurance even though I was 1 payment short of 2 years. Julia Merigan never responded to any emails asking for assistance in the matter. I would not recommend them after this lack of professionalism, I can only imagine how they treat claims.

Long time LIA client and recently switched. Had fully intended to stay with LIA, but there renewal process this year was frustrating, slow and unresponsive. OREP was quick and proactive. They were also significantly cheaper. Like all insurance one maybe never really knows who’s “best” as no one ever hopes to use them, so knock on wood, but a number of appraisers I know and respect use OREP so why not give them a try.
