I had a complicated house sale and purchase in Placerville and Mela was very knowledgeable in guiding the purchase along. After the bank I was working with failed to deliver the anticipated loan she directed us to a mortgage broker who turned a loan in 3 days. In 2017 my husband and I decided to move to West Sacramento, California from the Central Valley. We called and left messages for a few realtors in the area. My wife and I previously sold a home with Mela and Nick’s help. They were great from start to finish. The advice and marketing they provided was excellent. The photos of our home were totally professional and in my opinion, sold our house. We sold for well over our asking price and the closing went very smoothly. Two years later, we were looking to buy a second home, and saw a nice Townhouse online. I called Mela from Florida, and three days later we were under contract. The home inspection showed us some problems with the house and working with Mela, she was able to negotiate a substantial price reduction for the repairs. Mela also referred us to an electrician, plumber, and service to deal with some dry rot. They all were easy to deal with and actually made the repairs for less than the price adjustment that Mela negotiated for us. She put together a great plan to upgrade features on my home, stage it, which made it look like it was from an architectural magazine shoot, and market it utilizing many different media including a beautiful professionally created photo filled brochure.The day we put the house on the market the stock market crashed, and a month later Covid began. When we were looking to purchase a home after selling ours in the Bay area Mela came highly recommended from another realtor. Because we were in the Bay area we relied on Mela to find our perfect home based on conversations and a few visits we were able to have with her.
