Brian and his crew couldn’t be more amazing at what they do. From the moment I contacted Only Wood Floors I was impressed by the professionalism. They did everything they promised and more. My floors are beautiful! Top notch talent and awesome company!

With all the glowing reviews, and the recommendation of my realtor, we decided to use Only Wood Flooring to refinish our floors in our new home. Originally we were planning on oiling the floors, as that was what had been done by previous owners, but after meeting with Brian, he convinced us to refinish the floors for longevity. This was nearly 3x the price, but he promised the maintenance would be less. Refinishing floors takes longer than oiling as well, so this would push back our move-in date. When Brian came to give us a bid, our painters were still in the house finishing painting the entire interior and baseboards; with oiled floors, paint goes before. But with the last minute switch to refinishing, we had already painted. Brian’s crew set up while my painters were finishing up the house. I went to check on my house after the first day when the crew had gone home - every single light was left on and doors were left unlocked and completely ajar, including the front door! After three days, Brian told me he was finished and needed payment. I was shocked they finished so quickly because this was DAYS earlier than expected. I told him I had a busy morning and wouldn’t be able to make it to the house until the afternoon since I didn’t think they were finishing so soon. Brian asked me to leave the check in the mailbox in the morning - I explained that I wasn’t comfortable paying the last installment until the work was completed and I could look everything over. He agreed and told me he’d meet me at the house in the afternoon. When I got to the house, I walked in to find a couple of young guys working that I didn’t know, and Brian’s daughter. She told me she was there to collect the payment. I was surprised Brian wasn’t there; I told her I’d like to take a look at everything first. I walked in and right away saw that my baseboards were completely ruined - urethane was DRIPPING all over them along with buffer marks. There was not one baseboard that was clean. Then I went to my staircase - urethane and stain was on every riser and sides of the walls. The wooden banister had gashes in it. Upstairs baseboards had been completely smashed. I immediately pointed this out to Danielle. She simply said this is what happens with refinishing. I called Brian to let him know what a disaster things were inside. He tried to tell me that on the bid it states baseboards will need to be repainted because of small buffer marks. I told him that every single baseboard in my entire home was drenched in urethane! They will all need to be sanded and repaired! I told him about the stair risers, side walls, my stair banister! I asked why they hadn’t taped anything off to protect it, especially knowing I had just painted my entire house. He said they don’t tape things off because the buffer could pull the tape off when it gets close. I told him I was going to call my dad who had owned a hardwood flooring business for 30 years for an opinion. I FaceTimed him to show him the shape of my home - he told me in all of his years doing flooring, he’d never seen a sloppier job! He said they just slapped the urethane on without any regard for the mess they made - they could easily have wiped it off with a rag as they went, but they literally left sticky urethane dripping on my walls and baseboards throughout the entire 5,000sq ft home! He said the stairs were insanely sloppy - there’s no buffer used on the stairs as they’re done by hand, so there’s no reason they shouldn’t have been taped off. My dad said he’d never refinished a floor that he hadn’t taped every baseboard, stairs, doorway, etc to protect them. I showed him the bashed baseboards and the gashes in my banister - he said this was absolutely unacceptable! And in a custom home! After some back and forth, Brian agreed to take care of the cost to repair my baseboards since they were so bad (more than normal wear that comes with refinishing). Super displeased with how my home was treated and the sloppiness of their work. Buyer beware.

I contacted Dante at Only Hardwood Floors to have my hardwood floors refinished. The job only took two days and the quality of work is immaculate! Aside from great quality and a good price, both Dante and Bryan are trustworthy, dependable, and honest people. After the job was done I noticed that I had lost power to part of my house (the crew had to hook up their machinery directly to the panel). Dante immediately called me back when I told him about it and came back to my house to resolve the issue. This spoke volumes to their amazing customer service as most contractors dont come back to repair damage once a job is done. Thank you to Dante, Bryan, and the crew for a great experience and beautiful floors!

Only Wood Floors did a great job on our house. They added in wood to match the existing wood floor in the master bedroom that had been extended by the previous owners, who’d used particleboard instead of wood for part of the room and then covered the entire room with carpet. And then they refinished all the other rooms in the house. They were both professional and quick in their work and we’re very happy with the end result.

Brian and his crew did a fantastic job. He truly is the guru of wood floors and I would only trust him going forward. He even replaced a piece of our hardwood and matched it perfectly. Clean, on time and finished as promised.

This is very very bad company they dont care about customers at all. I call no body answer the phone .I text nobody respond .pls do not west your time with this company for any think. I dont know how they do the job.

I cant say enough how much I valued their work. The price was right, the work was great, on time arrival, my floor was only 6 years old but white washed faded and never right. If I knew it was going to look so great when it was complete I would have done it a lot sooner. So worth it! I have a couple homes so I hire many workers and this group is top notch! I have written maybe 3 reviews in my life. That is how much I liked their work and appreciated the job they did, I am going out of my way to say Thanks!

TEN 🌟!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. Hardwood floors in our new home needed some serious TLC...neglected and stained from pets. From the moment I called, everyone was responsive, helpful, professional and A-Mazing. Scheduled our job quickly. Finished quickly. Grade A work. Crew was on time and did a great job everyday.
