This is a really great Olive garden location. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you out, the food was delicious and prepared well, and the dining area is well kept and clean. One of the staff members mentioned that this is the largest olive garden in California. I tried the eggplant parmesan and it was delicious, the eggplant is prepared with care and almost melts in your mouth. As always the breadsticks are delicious and the salad was great too! I would recommend the chocolate cheesecake dessert.

Gotta say I didnt like the payment module on the table. Took up valuable table space. Kid opened it up and I got charged $2.99 for games. Likewise, the $10.50 small piece of chocolate desert was OK, but nothing like the ample serving from Claim Jumper or Cheesecake Factory.

For what I’m about to say, I just want people to know that the service was great, the food was delicious, and I almost have no complaints, except for one thing. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, they brought it out and gave me the grilled one except the fried one. Now it’s no big deal, it tasted good, and I’m not one to make a big fuss in the restaurant. The one thing I found odd was that I heard other customers don’t really order the chicken parmigiana, so staff seemed kinda confused. I just want to clarify, if I or someone order the chicken parmigiana, staff and chefs should make sure which one to make. Because when I say I want the chicken parmigiana, I expect to get the fried version, or if I order the grilled one I expect to get that. So for future visits from me or other customers, just ask if they want it fried or grilled, it will make mine or someone else’s dine in much better.

Overall good experience. Havent been in awhile and new to this branch out in Manhatten Beach. Service was slow in the beginning but picked up after ordering. Of course the free bread is always yummy. Ordered 2 entrées which comes with soup or salad, appetizer and one kids menu item. Food was good, not great, but good. Of course being a mega chain restaurant, the service and food is consistent, or it should be, so thats always a plus.

I took my Auntie for a birthday celebration dinner and was pleased with the quality of food and service provided. The shrimp scampi with angel hair was fresh and a lighter fare choice for only 480 calories, although I did add an extra portion of shrimp. Yu.m! I highly recommend the location in Manhattan Beach.

We had no wait on this past Tuesday evening, were promptly greeted and seated. Our order was taken within minutes of sitting. We ordered the calamari and spinach-artichoke dip for appetizers. That came first along with bread sticks, my salad that came with my entree, and my daughters chicken & gnocchi soup that came with her entree. Then we had the spaghetti and lasagna for entrees. I also ordered the Bellini peach raspberry iced tea. The food was nice and hot when received, it was delicious and flavorful. The young lady that served us was great, very friendly and helpful. And even the manager made rounds and stopped at our table twice during our visit to make sure everything was okay. Definitely will return and recommend.

Fast casual chain located in the Manhattan Beach Mall area. Came here with a group of 9 and we had a semi-private room. We had put our name down on a Saturday evening and it took about an hour to get a table. There is plenty of parking available. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted.They have the ongoing supply of breadsticks and salad/minestrone soup. They do have other soup options (including a cream based option - a Tuscan soup or other). Our waiter was nice and the staff was helpful in checking in for water refills. I had a hearty portion for my chicken and shrimp pasta - there was plenty for two servings of leftovers the following day. We tried the brownie lasagna, strawberry shortcake, and tiramisu since three people in our group were celebrating birthdays, and they were kind enough to put little candles and sing “Happy Birthday” alongside us. Truly a spot to feel like family alongside the multiple groups of people looking to indulge in the breadsticks and pasta carb fest.

Olive Garden seems to be a consistent okay experience if youre looking for a decent pasta. Their calamari appetizer had the right flavor but the pieces came out soft instead of crunchy, feeling warmed up rather than just freshly cooked. The pasta I ate had a good flavor but it also suffered that just warmed feeling and that couldnt escape my mind. The Italian Margarita for $9 is alright but really becomes good when you add the $2 patron add on. Nothing memorable, nothing disappointing. Its just Olive Garden: the Italian restaurant you go to when you dont know any other Italian restaurants in the area.

We decided to bring our family and my graduate to eat here after all the festivities, Unfortunately, we encountered several issues during our visit. First, we ordered Diet Coke and the soda was flat with a weird taste. The staff informed us that they would change the bags or fix the soda machine and bring us new drinks. We waited a while and finally received our new drinks, but they tasted the same as before, so we opted for water instead. Second, our chicken was not cooked properly- some pieces were still raw, and the cooked parts were rubbery. We informed the waiter, and they took the chicken back to the kitchen to redo it. However, since it took quite a while, we decided to get our food to go. Overall, it was a bad experience on this special day!
