I easily lined up, ordered, and found seating at 9am on a Sunday.I recommend getting the plastic menu (closer to the front of the line), it is easier to read compared to the small font on the wall menu.Most of the menu is very good! Some items are better than others.I recommend the orange juice, and any of the bagels! My favorite is the pumpernickel.There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is dog friendly.

Omg I could find a seat in a Saturday for breakfast and their prices are reasonable! $9.99 veggie egg burrito is amazing! They have an amazing bakery selection and promos on Tuesdays for beagles. Their coffee is also very good!

Super sweet staff and SO MANY menu OPTIONS! Seriously - make a plan before getting here. Your plan should 💯 include the fries 🍟!!!The meat in the pastrami sandwich was amazing but the sandwich overall was okay.I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and the chicken was a little underwhelming, but I appreciated that they were generous with their avocado 🥑.They also had really interesting lemonade.Lets talk about the star 🌟 of this meal 😍 - THE FRIES 🍟🤩!!! I wish I could give these fries 10 stars, they were perfect in a way that it is hard to describe and to find now a days. They potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cut with just the right amount of crisp. I am not from the area, and I would stop back here for the fries alone.

Love this place! The only thing I am mad about is that I hadnt tried it sooner. I have lived in the area for almost 8 years and slept on this one. Great bakery selection. Awesome sandwiches, and delicious Matzo Ball soup. It is fast casual so, you order at the counter and they give you a number then someone delivers your food. It gets busy but the line moves fast.

Prices Up Quality Down, unfortunately this has become too common, but theres no excuse for selling stale product at inflated prices. Last night we stopped in to grab a sweet to-go ended up with 1 brownie, 1 bag of bagel chips, 2 garlic bagels for $18.00 bucks and then a forced $2.50 tip. All would have been fine except the bagels were rock hard to the point of true difficulty to cut, then so dry and stale after toasted, we tossed them out.The brownie was stale and tasted like it had been sitting in the case since January, after two bites we tossed it too. The bagel chips good at first bite but I must have grabbled the only thin one because the rest were cut so thick they are impossible to enjoy. They will be tossed out too, we like our teeth more. Now the tip, we walk in and no one behind the bakery counter offered to help us, there was no one ahead of us. We walk to the cashier and ask can we get a brownie and a couple of bagels, she was nice, rings us first which was odd an says theres a few questions on the screen for you as she points to the credit card machine. Its asking me which tip amount I should choose....for what? I felt shamed/obligated so I choose one, my bad. Never again, we are done and thats a shame because this use to be a great place. Update: Today 7/23/23 they charged my sister $9.00 for a slice of birthday cake that after 2 bites went directly in the trash, it was wet and tasted like a refrigerator, awful! My sister didnt know how awful this once great place had become.

More patience for older folks please.We are living around this place and become regulars. because we like the food and service recommended this to our friends, however on 21st of June Friday around 9am our friend called us that she felt disrespected when she ordered bagels and asked the guy named Omar to make her bagels warm but it was served cold. She then politely asked to warm her bagels but the guy said he already did. It was actually still cold. She was so upset and felt disrespected upon asking and just walked away feeling humiliated. She’s 80 years old retired professor from CSU CI and living in Camarillo CA for more than 30 years.

One of the girls who works at the register and brings food out wears an expression of absolute detest for the customers. I sympathize with the staff because they definitely deal with difficult customers on the daily, and it can be frustrating, but a little bit of effort to not openly despise the customer theyre serving could go a long way. I was in front of the counter waiting for assistance, and the girl and I made eye contact and I waved indicating that I needed help, and she blatantly ignored and avoided me. I just needed a to-go box. The last few times Ive been here the food is always great, but this time it was a let down. I understand they could be understaffed, and everyone has their own stuff going on. Unfortunately, it doesnt change the fact that I left feeling like I would have been happier paying less going through a drive thru somewhere else.

Seriously great deli and bakery. Moving to California I was worried that I wouldnt have access to some of my favorite foods from back east. Boy was my worry completely unfounded.First let me start with the bagels. These are real bagels. Boiled in water, and then baked. Just like back home. Theyre not the soft Panera or grocery store knockoff breads in a ring. Theyve got great bite to them. Not too stiff, but just enough. Jalapeno cheddar bagels are unorthodox, but are stupidly good with some cream cheese. Imagine a gigantic jalapeno popper on a bagel.Pastrami Reuben. Oh boy. What a treat this thing is. Soft, smokey, rich, but not too heavy. Rye bread is fantastic buttered and toasted. Thousand island dressing had a touch of extra sweetness which I loved. Can we talk about the pickle? A real fermented pickle. Not a cheap vinegar pickle but a real fermented kosher pickle. This was for me the touch that made it. Fries were solid. I really liked the coleslaw as well.French Toast. Made with thick sliced challah bread. Perfectly songey, but with a good bite. Custard was well made as well.Napoleon cake. I ordered tiramisu, but they were out of it so I tried this. What a fantastic thing this is. Layers of pastry cream (think stiff vanilla pudding) and filo dough, topped with vanilla and chocolate. It was huge too. I have taken three whacks at eating it and still havent finished!Overall I am extremely happy with the Old New York Deli & Bakery. They have earned my business as my new bagel place for sure.The staff was friendly and attentive, and aside from the TVs in the dining area I find the dining room to be a nice place to eat.My wife and I will be back again and again and again.

Been here quite a few times and I dont think Ill be back. The last time I was here, they gave me expired salsa with my bagel sandwich. I know it was expired because the container the salsa came in was literally bulging from the gasses inside. When I opened it, you could hear a hiss and it smelled so bad. Theres no way thats fit for human consumption. I imagine there was a mistake and the container was left at the back of the fridge or something. Accidents happen so I went to the liquor store next door and bought some hot sauce.The last time I went, I ordered a corn beef hash burrito with banana peppers and hot salsa. Not only did I not get my banana peppers but the container that was supposed have hot salsa was marinara sauce. The worst part was towards the end of my burrito, all I could taste was seasoned salt. Dude, the burrito is salty enough, why would you be so heavy handed on seasoned salt? What am I supposed to do if half of my burrito is inedible, you know? Out of fear of looking like a glutton who wants free food, Ill just cut my losses and toss the other half in the bin which is SUCH a disappointment.Its crazy, it seems like every time I come here my order is wrong or the food doesnt taste good. If youre going to charge as much as you do for meals, you expect your order to be correct and to taste good.I will say, one thing this place has going for it is the bakery. Theres so many sweet treats to choose from and the fruit tart is delicious. Not sure if they make it there but either way its really good. Maybe Im just really unlucky but I imagine if it happens to me almost every time then it has to happen to a lot of people which is a bummer because this is one of the closest restaurants to my house.

Cool place with amazing pastries to choose from. I ordered the jalapeño cheese bagel with egg, cheese, and avocado. The bagel was fresh and had great taste and texture. Coffee was decent too...bathroom was a little nasty though.

I got a Philly cheesesteak, red velvet cupcake, and fruit tart. All subpar food. Cupcake tasted nothing like a red velvet should, was dry, and frosting tasted like cheap vanilla frosting that was old. Tart was basically overly sweet cream with a huge sugar cookie on bottom. The best part was the fruit because it was fresh. Sandwich was not seasoned and bland. They should be ashamed for charging as much as they do for this. The sandwich was just under 20$…I could make 3-4 of the same sandwich at home for the same price of 20$ and it would taste way better. I read a lot of the reviews here, sounds like coffee and breakfast are better here, but after my experience I won’t be back.

Food is nothing spectacular, its edible. Had the pancake breakfast. The latte wasnt good, didnt drink it, it had a weird after taste. Service wise, although its not a full service restaurant, would expect a more welcoming attitude from the staff. Clean place, well lit.

First got introduced to this place by meeting with a buddy here. In my opinion music is too loud and don’t care for it. Place is nicely decorated and they have plenty of seating areas both inside and outside.First thing we ever ordered was their lox bagel. Everything was fresh and really delicious. I have also had their decaf coffee and I have to say that it was really fresh and tasted good. I love cheesecake and have been looking for a place that makes good cheesecake and had not been able to find one. Well, this is the place for my cheesecake taste buds. Cheesecake is creamy, moist and good balance of both cream cheese and sweetness. This place will definitely be my to go place for cheesecake and lox bagel.Their prices are high as you will end up paying $30 for two lox bagels, cheesecake prices are your standard $6.00 per slice. Staff, is knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, I have had a good experience at this place and would recommend it. I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I got the early riser pastrami bagel on both visits. It needed some seasoning, but nothing some salt on the provided hotsauce couldnt fix. The ambience was casual yet elegant enough to impress business partners and definitely a better option than meeting at Starbucks or Panera. The staff was very friendly and even brought ordered food to the table, although they give you a buzzer/pager.

Its been pretty humid in the Deli recently, might be the reason why, when I bought a lite cream cheese it was covered in mold... Please check the temperature, its too hot to meet safety standards. Theres condensation on the purchasable cream cheese containers, which is probably why the mold is forming. Theres also mold in the bathroom on the tile grout by the sink. The food is still fantastic though.

Got breakfast bagels 7 times now and every time theyve managed to mess up the order. Ordered today and in my bagel they put one tiny beyond sausage that hardly filled half the bagel. Food tastes great but honestly the quality and effort isnt there. Wish they were more attentive because the food is yummy.

A total of 6 times is how often Ive visit this deli and always been satisfied. Let me start with their wide variety menu, full bar of sweets, bagels, pastries, fresh orange juice, great coffee and more I still need to explore.Today my girlfriend and I met up for breakfast. This was the perfect spot to catch up. They have a cozy couch area to lounge by the t.v or sit in a regular booth or table. The vibe is welcoming.I ordered the French toast combo. It came with 2 eggs of choice, turkey sausage and French toast. The French toast and turkey sausage was a reason for me to return. Tasty! To drink I choose a fresh OJ.My girlfriend ordered a create your own omelette with potatoes, a side bagel & coffee. The omelette and potatoes is what was the tastiest. We chatted and enjoyed delicious food, great morning for us.Theres semi table service, you walk in and order, find a seat and they bring out the food to your table. Theres a table with condiments of your choice. The lobby is kept fairly clean, employees are wearing masks. Theres outdoor seating for the furry ones.My overall experience was pretty awesome, enjoyable company, great ambiance, delicious food and kind employees.Ill definitely return.

“Have you ever seen a great horse pick a radish?” I asked dad at this restaurant. “Find out which dough is sour, then you’ll be a chicken,” dad remarked, referring to me as a horse and a chicken at the same time. I found that odd, since being at New York Bagel didn’t automatically mean I was either a chicken or a horse. It can be said that this bakery was a coffeehouse with multiple grains and sweet fries to add on to the barbeque ranch and turkey burgers, although ginger and sesame had to go with the italian balsamic rather than possibly jack cheese. In fact, almonds with a light roast here were refreshed with Dr. Brown’s soda by me when owners dined with their pet animals in a room shaded with decoration and prestige. “The ham is from those black forests in the east of our state’s winds to the point of an important pug.” Of course, I got ahead of myself. Dad had always enjoyed bagels with the scallion mark and recognized tea with a full leaf. All of Old New York Deli, coffee named after a red eye… the workers put the nut on vanilla, switching between places by the kitchen where onion was rolling away. It was additional tomato for stripping the tortilla of its roast, eating a breakfast burrito served with happiness on the side while confused over the Popeye spinach. “I can peel these spices like a banana.” I joked. “I take the bread made from hands and fruit as fresh.” Dad was relaxing at a booth of three chairs with his bagel chips, which turned out to be cooked well to the char by the time we returned with soda bottles. I also went up to the cashier with raged happiness and said, “I’ll take a full deli sandwich.” The pepper rings. A gamer was enthused from an Apple computer while two ladies barked with gusto in Spanish. “Bagels with a schmear, food of an old city far away.” I continued. “This is a cure for the bacon: add the shape of a vegetable to beef, then stir. Two pieces of bacon to a complete breakfast may be in burritos served with happiness on the side, since the city’s dreams are ceremonial food to the American privilege.” “Have you taken your meds?” asked dad, enthused with the privilege of bringing home hot dog snacks from shelves full of desserts. “Yes! I’ve also gotten sauce from a leader who’s been passing away from the crowd to a fountain with delicious tea, cheese with smoke, hand kaiser rolls, thick cuts of deli hash.” I also made compliments of the deli bakery to my dad on scrambled pastrami to my silver dollar pancakes, eating the fast dishes while fried eggs got to the breakfast nova in sure protection. We took a spicy walk, dad and me, to what the bakery had called a mammoth with red lines: a full burrito, which was being distinguished with astonishment on the part of my mom, Wendy. “There’s Wendy’s in town, mom.” We joked, and she knew her responsibility for a popular restaurant was only namesake, and we enjoyed company while a dutiful manager personally prepared actual onion rings for us. The boss recognized that the Camarillo Dream, a drink I had ordered, had its own namesake which added to the company between him and me on lettuce mixture, although he’d rather work on hand challa to french toast instead of bargaining to my mom for approved favor; his services for whole tortillas and hot chocolate became, in my “warning eyes as silk”, the indoor moods above a clean environment, the restaurant crew preparing more than their share of grilled rye and leveling dusty packets of sugar onto the customization area. During a time of vacationing and thick cuts of russian dressing, we were clearly all about happiness since Old New York Deli & Bakery through professionalism exuded on mom’s coleslaw substitution a couple of months ago, so I remember their rolls made from the scratch.

I have eaten here twice and both times have waited quite a while for my food. This last time it took 28 minutes to receive a Pastrami burger and a salad. It was not a busy time, there were a lot of open tables. Many people were complaining about the wait. The pastrami on the burger was pretty fatty. The chicken on the salad was so dry it was like eating jerky.

The Old New York Deli was absolutely yummy! The service was wonderful the kind girl at the cash register was a trainee and did a wonderful job. She was kind and inviting and welcoming!My wife had the Fresh Turkey Roasted Cranberry while I had the Classic Burger with a side of fries. The burger was huge and I could not finish it in one sitting. I had the other 1/4 with the generous portion of fries for dinner. My wifes turkey sandwich was sweet and delicious!The atmosphere inside the deli as well is lively, as soon as you walk in all the wonderful baked goods such as bagels are on full display! Five Stars Recommend this Deli to everyone!

The baked goods here are killer. Im a huge fan of their multigrain bread. Their food is also very good. I recommend always choosing the corned beef over the pastrami. In the past, the pastrami has been undercooked, tough, chewy, and with way too much fat.

When thinking about lunch the other day, I had a hankering for a veggie sandwich from a deli. Being in Camarillo brought its own challenges as there just werent any Jewish delis that I knew of there. Imagine my delight when googling sandwich shops near me to have Old New York Deli & Bakery pop up! I frequently go to their restaurant in Woodland Hills so to find them in Camarillo was wonderful!! Same delicious food and lovely service 💖 I ordered my veggie sandwich on rye instead of whole grain and had them leave off the sprouts (just not a fan). Craving resolved!! PS Theres only half a sandwich in the picture because I horked the other half as soon as it got to table ~ soooo good!!

Twice I ordered baggies toasted with butter but they gave me toasted with cream cheese what idiots they have so I dont recommend this place for great bagles go to noha bagels on las posts at least they are competent and will get your order right this place should be closed I telling all of my customers not to eat at new your bagel because they will get your order wrong

I ordered the Vegetarian sandwich and said I wanted the sauce on the side and they still put it on the sandwich. Also, Im a vegetarian and there was a piece of chicken in my salad that I didnt notice till I was almost done so it kind of grossed me out. The sandwich was ok but overloaded with Sprouts. My dad had the philly cheesesteak and he said it was an 8/10 and hes from Philly. He said the coleslaw was phenomenal. All in all a bit disappointed in my plate but I might try again with something else.

People should know so things can improve. We ordered 3 California grilled chicken sandwiches, it took 50 minutes, just under an hour . No one in front of us we could see, likely some online orders, maybe 6 people eating there . Today about 2:30pm. We watched several people come in after us and leave after us . The sandwiches were really, really good .However, I forgot the reason I haven’t been there in a while though. It always takes too long. If I can make it at home in less time, you’re taking too long. These on line orders may be too much for them to handle. In that case, post a sign. Tell us it’s going to basically take an hour until you eat for walk ins. Not a place for a quick bite unless you want a bagel and a drink. We had to say something then magically our food came 10 minutes after that. When told it’s taking an hour they said that’s what it usually takes . We were not offered anything and didn’t ask at that point. Another employee being chewed out, unrelated, in the corner of the restaurant right by the drink machine. There were 2 managers present. Take that in stuff in back . At a full service restaurant I can understand a longer wait but New York is sort of Cafeteria style? It’s a good product but always takes too long.

We love this place. They have an amazing selection of tofu cream cheeses so vegans can be included and amazed too. Their bagels are incredible. They have a WONDERFUL bakery section, just nothing vegan that I am aware of. Their drinks are great, and they offer several different types of plant milks. The staff are friendly, and quick.

Drink coffee while I was there. Coffee was very good. BC of word-of-mouth advertising for my friend, I purchase some cream cheese, and because of suggested selling of the customer service representative I purchase bagels that would be complemented by the honey walnut cream cheese that I purchased. The CSR help me identify two pastries that I also purchased. My friend and I drink or coffee is outside and because we had arrived so late and our conversation was so good, we were there till they were cleaning up outside and locking up the tables and chairs. The staff was helpful and cheerful.

NY Deli in sandwiches are absolutely amazing. I’ve been dying to try the Matzo ball soup. The soup is absolutely delish, but the matzo they put separately tasted like an almost flavorless… mush? I can’t even say sponge because I feel that would have more volume to it. I’m so sad. $9 something to try this soup, and I just got a yummy chicken noodle, that I could have made at home 😭

Went in to here to order a deli sandwich. Ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce tomato onion and mayonnaise. .This was the worse deli sandwich Ive ever had and it was 17$ ..the driest turkey Id ever had in my life. ! It was like being in the Sahara desert trying to get it Down . Got potato salad for the side. Finally, a guys responded and unwillingly helped me as if he is being cursed. I asked for 2 pounds of cookies and he gave me much more and charged me more that I wanted to spend. This place was added to my black list for unsatisfactory and disrespectful behavior. With this kind of service, the minimum tip starts with 18%. I refused it and gave $1 cash tip which was very generous.Please train your employee to be nice and willing to attend to your customers with happy face.

My only complaint is a little silly but the benches for the booths are so short. I feel like i cant sit comfortable for a long period of time. Adjusting my review as I went back this last weekend and found roaches at the booths. They said they refunded the order but still charged for the drink.I called back today and spoke with somebody about the lack of a full refund. The lady I spoke with straight up admitted that they sometimes get shipments with roaches on the boxes and thats why they have the problem.THEY KNOWINGLY ACCEPT ROACH INFESTED SHIPMENTS AND DO NOT REFUSE THEM. Great deli for breakfast. Although the restaurant does not have table service, the walk-up line generally moves fast. My favorite is the breakfast bagel sandwich (there is an endless choice of bagels). They also have a potato pancake(latke) with an excellent taste and a perfect texture(graded, not mashed or blended potatoes). While waiting in line to order, it is difficult not to be tempted by the incredible assortment of cookies and old-style east coast Jewish-American food products(Such as Foxs U bet chocolate syrup). Walked here with my girlfriend on Saturday overcast morning. Place was semi busy and people were going in and out. First thing we noticed was the huge selection of baked goods - bagels, cupcakes, eclairs, and much more. Pretty cool to see a lot of the selections displayed. My daughter and I finished our meal and decided we wanted some cheesecake to go. I can find better food easily, but not without driving 15 miles or so each way. So Id rank them food taste four, portion size 3.5, service below a three to get my composite of three. Order to go and you avoid most of the service issues.Two complaints: Ive stood at the bakery counter, the only bakery customer, right by what I wanted to order. Ive seen FOUR employees ignore me, walk right past. Im disabled and walk with a cane; every step hurts. There is no sign telling me this is what they want (I have been served at the bakery counter) but apparently I should walk farther to the cash register to walk back to the counter to walk to the cash register to pay. If that is policy, why no sign? It certainly is not friendly to the disabled. And yes, I have to see what they put in the bag because they have passed off croissants as danishes. Which leads me to my second point.They have two similar pastries: chocolate croissants and chocolate danishes. Similar sizes, same price, very similar flavor profiles. Whenever I come in, there are zero to few danishes and few to lots of croissants. There are never danishes late afternoon or evening, and usually many croissants. The croissants are among the worst Ive had; the danishes are among the best. The croissants taste like someone wrapped a cooked croissant around a chocolate bar, none of the melty gooeyness as the chocolate blends with the croissant. If Im running a restaurant, Id be reviewing my menu. It doesnt take a genius to see that unsold croissants are costing me money and not having danishes when people want to buy them is costing me sales. I bet if they stopped making chocolate croissants and doubled the danishes, theyd sell far more, and if people asked for the croissants then also make a small batch. Sure, its probably only $15 a day difference, but that adds up and happier customers lead to more repeat business.

We live in town though and someone told us to check it out so we eventually got around to it.I have a feeling their bagels are probably very good. Really cute cashier, but she talked so fast and honestly made it seem like it was a bother to wait on us.When our food was delivered there was a register receipt tucked under one of our sandwiches for an omelette. Not sure which patron was missing their receipt, since it wasn’t ours, but it would up under our food.Corned beef was so tough it was like rubber, ungodly lean which was a huge issue, and cut way too thick. The bread was huge so the meat seemed really insignificant for the sandwich, although it was plenty of meat. The rye bread was good, but absolutely nothing like NY Rye. Brisket was cut with the grain, which is something you learn not to do in Deli 101, and was like rubber bandsFrench fries were obviously just it of a bag of frozen fries, which again is fine, but ours were cold. .Many tables left unbussed, which is logical since there wasn’t really wait staff. More a “Bring your food over” person.Flat screen TVs playing the QVC station. Restrooms were dirty and hard to get in and out of because of boxes of food supplies stored right n front of them.I grew up in NYC and have the experience of the best of NY Deli, and thus wasn’t it.Maybe I’ll try their bagels sometime, though honestly Noah’s is right up the street and even though they’re not authentic boiled bagels at least the folks there are over the top wonderful and make you feel that you’re truly welcome

First off, they are calling it a New York deli and should know it is called a hero not a sub. I won’t even get into the price of this trash “sub” but it ain’t even worth $5. Ive been eating here for 5 years. The bagels are excellent, but over the last year or so the service has gone downhill. The service can be extraordinary slow and the staff lacks enthusiasm. I frequently have something missing from my order (coffee, tea, bagel). I have even found part of a glove on a plate.Recently my wife ordered a toasted bagel with honey. They charged us an extra 90 cents for honey and brought out a bagel with no honey. When I asked for honey to be put on the bagel I was told the honey was on the condiment stand with the hot sauce and to help myself.I had to go to the manager to find out why I was being charged 90 cents for honey that any customer could grab from the condiment stand without paying for. Although he did refund me for the honey he maintained there was nothing wrong with charging for the honey.I will not be returning to this establishment. Noahs Bagels just won another customer.

Arrived at 12:45 and was told my order was almost ready. 15 minutes later, they hadnt even started my order! We took a day trip from NoHo to Solvang on Saturday. Just the right amount of the smallest little crunch on the outside and the inside was so fresh and soft. Same texture with the fries! Everything was delicious!Although we were so tempted to stock up on pastries, we were heading to Solvang which is considered the Danish and pastry capitol of California so we ate our delicious food, forced ourselves to skip the pastries and got back on the road.Traffic to Solvang was so bad that we didnt get there until 4pm which majorly sucked because every bakery was sold out of the cheese, lemon and raspberry danishes and pretty much everything else for that matter.We tried a few freshky baked cookies and were lucky enough to find pineapple and apple danishes on the way out but they werent anything to write home about, thats for sure. In fact, last weekend we went to The Hat in Pasadena to try their world famous Pastrami and at the time I thought it was the best Ive had.....until now.The Pastrami at ONYB&D was perfect and I had it on a Kaiser roll which was the softest and yummiest Ive ever had.The salmon plate came with Quinoa and my son had never tried it before so we substituted it for fries. (Salmon and fries, yeah, I know). The manager, whos name I didnt catch, was so wonderfully sweet to our son and even got him to try the Quinoa which is a feat in itself. He ate it all up, I couldnt believe it!Getting him to try something new is almost impossible but she had a very sweet way about getting him to eat it. (inside joke, the mgr will get it though)Id also like to note that my order and ordering technique was really unusual and confusing. Id just like to say thank you to the young man who patiently and graciously attended to us. I know it was probably super annoying.We took a slice of brownie cheesecake (which was huge btw) a chocolate chip cannoli, a cookie monster cupcake, frosted sugar cookies... We tasted a little of everything when we got home and WOW, just so delicious and fresh and yummy! It was difficult not to devour everything at once.We literally had no idea about this place and finding it was an unplanned, happy, serendipitous accident.After Googling it we saw there is a location in Woodland Hills which is closer to us and we are very excited about that because its a kittle closer to us. Tried a few different sandwiches. They were all delicious! Potato salad was great, the classic cheesecake is the best Ive had. Smooth, creamy, it was perfect! Coffee was great too! The only thing I could say needed some help was the bathroom. The floor was splashed on everywhere. I walked in needing to go and nevermind, Ill wait. Had to wash my hands and get out of there. But everything else was perfect. I will say this, it was the end of the night and they were mopping. Idk if they prepped the mop in there but still should pick it up quick incase a lady needs to use it. Also, I dont particularly enjoy sharing a restroom that men use with a very low urinal. Seeing all the splashing on the ground by the urinal was what made me walk out. Not cute. I wanted to clean my sandals after walking in there.However if im judging based solely on the food and the cleanliness of the dining area, it was great!!!! Food is amazing.

This is my Go To restaurant for nearly everything! I broke both legs and had been ordering thru a delivery service.Once I was able to drive again I started ordering online. They have a bonus point system thru their app and you collect $$$ points to be applied to the order of your choice. Ive already received several free meals, which is a great bonus in my book!Ive never had a bad meal. I typically order 2 qts of Chicken soup a week, which is served with bagel chips. Post Covid 19 menu is unchanged. Grabbed some bagels and coffee and was able to sit inside and get some work done! Yes the seating is open again inside, masks and social distancing is in place. This place has the most delicious breakfast. The orange juice is fresh and the coffee is too. They have a huge selection of bagels and breakfast burritos. I had the pancakes with bacon and eggs and it was very filling. The coffee options are very many including mixons like coconut milk soy milk almond milk half and half regular milk Etc. They have a limited lunch menu. There is plenty of seating and even a private meeting room that we reserved for two hours for our company breakfast meeting. The meeting room has a large TV with a VGA cable to hook your computer up to.

Been here many times and this time Very disappointed with this place yet again. Went tonight with friends and ordered matzo ball soup, extra hot. When it came, it was luke warm. Waited for server to return since my friend also ordered soup. Finally brought it back to the counter and received attitude. When be brought my friend’s soup her’s was also luke warm. We asked to have them reheated and he wasn’t pleased. When he brought them back instead of an apology we received a lecture on the temperature it was served at and we should have mentioned we wanted it to be hot. Really!!!! Have had take out from here many times. Almost always the lox and bagel plate. It was presented nicely in the container. Today was terrible. It was jammed into a smaller plastic container. The bagel tasted like was from yesterday. the pickle was like a quarter of a full pickle and dried out as were the olives. It is hard to believe that a great deli could go downhill so quickly. Food quality wasnt has high as previous visits. They had fresh lettuce (if thats a plus) baccon was over done, and patty was adverge. The barbeque Sauce added was unoriginal and bland. Aditioanly, COMPLETELY Chose the wrong type of bun, They gave me a WHEAT BUN! 🤢🤢 Personaly, not my first choice when having a baccon burger. I should of just asked for a refund and left, and not eat the pathetic excuse for a burger. most likely wont be returning, which is unforanate cause I used to love coming here in high school. The highlight of my meal was the Lettuce, Fresh had a nice snap, I would Prefer $18.00 worth of lettuce instead of a sub par burger, Soft drink, and latte..Update: Honestly, after 4 hours of eating, My Stomach became uneasy. It can get hectic and they can get orders wrong, but there isnt a better deli around Camarillo.The bagels are proper, the lox fresh, and the shmears are all good.Sandwiches are big enough to justify the deli price premium.Coffee is organic, but the drip coffee is usually a little weak, for my taste.The staff is generally competent and always caring, so that goes a long way.

I even called the catering number and i got sent to voice mail . So when i went to go put in my online order the entire menu wasnt even up. (That was the second annoying problem, the first one was when they didnt answer the phone.) And finally when i got there, they didnt even have to bagle i ordered! They did call me to let me know, but they called when I was right in front of the store. Popular delicatessen in Camarillo. As far as I gave found, the only real one in the Oxnard plains. Great deli food, good bakery, excellent bagels with a variety of spreads.
