I am a UCLA medical student who was in need of the most affordable and reliable car within a week as I started my rotations. Zina was able to help me find the lowest offer for a new 2024 Toyota Corolla LE in my limited time span. I even took the offer to nearby Toyota dealerships as I was trying to sell my old vehicle and none of them could even come close to matching it. She hand delivered the car to my house and helped me navigate all of the paperwork. The most incredible part behind this is that they do not charge any commission! Which is only possible I found out because it is a 60 years of family business partnership in the region that allows for unmatched connections with dealerships. When I first heard of this, I was hesitant. It sounded too good to be true. Consultation, brokering, and even delivery for free? But I can confirm not only was this true, but the level of care and prompt customer service they provided was unparalleled. They are incredibly transparent and communicative with you every step of the way. I plan to recommend Zina and Okuma Enterprises to everyone I meet who is interested in buying a car. I am an over-thinker when it comes to big purchases, and getting a new car was a new level of stress and information overload for me. Larry at Okuma was recommended by a friend who raved about his service. Wow, was my friend right. Larry made the process so easy! Plus, he got me $3,000 less than the same dealer had offered to me!! I was in an urgent need of new automobile. I brought my previous automobile from Okuma Enterprises before.Working with Larry of Okuma Enterprises was a great pleasure. He was able to find the car I wanted. A Toyota Corolla Cross. He was able to find one in a couple of days. The vehicle was located in Huntington Beach. There was no way I could have done it on my own. His expertise made the entire experience a pleasure.He was able to find and obtain an excellent price for the vehicle. Larry handled all the paperwork with the car dealer. I do not like to deal with car dealers. Last July, I contacted Okuma Enterprises to inquire about changing my car to a new one. At that time, I communicated with Ray through email and phone calls multiple times to discuss the process of purchasing a car. Due to personal reasons, I decided to postpone buying a new car and sent an email explaining the situation. Ray responded with a very kind email, showing consideration for my choice.When I decided to change my car again, I naturally sought Rays assistance. I first visited the dealership for a test drive, but the Lexus NX350h Premium, the car I wanted, was not in inventory at that time. I was told I would have to wait at least 2-3 weeks. The next morning, I emailed Ray for help, and he responded promptly. We discussed some basic information about the car over the phone. While I was expecting to wait 2-3 weeks, Ray found the car I wanted on the same day, at a price several thousand dollars cheaper than the dealers offer. I purchased the car within two days, and It was delivered to my place.Throughout the process of selling my old car, Ray made efforts to find the best value. He arranged for the buyer to come to my place for a direct pickup. Both the buying and selling processes were conducted swiftly, accurately, and stress-free. Having purchased several cars in the past, this experience was the most convenient and pleasant. I reached out to Okuma after having an awful experience at a dealership. Larry was beyond helpful, responsive, and very honest about what to expect on the cars I was looking at. I really appreciated the fact that I felt NO pressure to buy or keep looking once I realized Hondas would be thousands above sticker price, so I decided to check out Subaru. Larry got back to me very quickly with what he found and gave me all the pricing options with -once again - no pressure to commit, just facts on whats out there and what to expect. Im incredibly happy with my experience, with Larrys help, and I absolutely love my new car. The fact that the car is delivered to you and theres zero wait at a dealer (which usually takes hours and hours) is so amazing. This is how car buying should be. Ken Koshiro from Okuma made the process super easy and pleasant. I told him the make, model, color and options I wanted (which I knew would be a difficult to find) and Ken found exactly what I wanted at a good deal. To make things better they even gave me a good deal on my old car so I wouldnt have to hassle with selling it myself. Ill be going back to Okuma and Ken when Im ready to replace my other car.

After spending several months assessing our needs, looking at cars and test drives, we were ready to make our purchase. We reached out to a concierge service and were told that the model we wanted was not to be found, no longer being produced and that we would have to settle for something else. In a panic, we called Larry at Okuma Enterprises. We had never used a broker before, but Larry walked us through the process and recorded our needs: make, model, features, color, purchase/financing requirements, everything.Next day, Larry called and said he had found our car! Larry then proceeded to walk us through the purchase and finance options, dealt with the dealership and arranged all the paperwork and delivery of a car that “was not to be found” to our doorstep two days later. Everything was done from the comfort of our own home … even to the point of a personal, hands-on tour of the car in our driveway by the dealership brand specialist. I bought my first car through Larry over 30 years ago. My parents bought cars through Okuma over the years as well. Here’s a little backstory: Several years ago, my husband located the car of my dreams (well, as close to my dream car as I was going to get). It was a pre-owned and sitting on a dealer lot. I had to have that car but it involved sitting in the dealership for over 2 hours putting up with their little games, but I played nice just to get out of there with my dream car. Fast forward, when it came time for my next car, I wasn’t going to put myself through the torture of another dealership. It was bad enough having to go to dealerships for test drives and ignoring the bombardment of pressure emails from them that continued for months after. But, I endured the wait from the COVID pandemic, supply chain issues, and the hopes that the prices wouldn’t keep climbing. I had driven my current vehicle until it was basically a box with 4-wheels. I was determined not to put any more money into that car if it wasn’t necessary. But, I reached a point of desperation and hoped I wouldn’t have to make huge compromises with finding the car that I wanted. I deserved a new car at that point, and I provided Larry with my “wish list” and what I was willing to give up if we couldn’t find what I really wanted. Larry was relentless and determined to find my 1st choice. Guess what? (Well, you all know that answer by now!) He did!!!!! In less than 2 days, he called to tell me he found my car, the exact one I wanted! The next day, he delivered my car to me. And, just like in all the other reviews, he was at my house with my perfect new car parked out front, handed me the keys and we completed the paperwork in the convenience of my home. I can’t say enough about the personal services that Larry and Okuma provides. I will never do business with a dealership ever again. The fact that Okuma will deliver the car given the current lockdown situation is great. I was looking to buy a car since the incentives are so good right now, but did not enjoy the experience dealing with each individual online sales manager. Friend recommended Okuma, and it was a breeze to work with them. I wanted a very specific model, but never did they seem annoyed with my requests. I never once felt pressured to buy. I purchased my last three cars through Okuma Enterprises and each time, they have been very accommodating, knowledgeable and efficient. I recently purchased a 2020 Subaru Outback Limited XT and Larry was able to find the exact car I wanted in just a couple of days even though the inventory on the new Outbacks was very low, and Larry was still able to find the car below the sticker price. This is our third car we have purchased from Larry at Okuma Enterprises. The primary reason we always deal with Okuma is that we dont have to haggle with the sales force at a dealership in order to receive a great deal. As long as you know what you are looking for, Okuma will find the auto you are looking for and will get you a excellent price. An additional bonus is that the car is delivered to your house.Believe it or not, we bought this car without leaving the house (other than visiting a dealer to look over the car we wanted). We called our credit union and they sent loan papers via email using an electronic signature feature. We then called Okuma and told them our requirements for the car. Okuma came back with an excellent quote and we told them we would purchase it. Larry at Okuma delivered the car to our house and we signed the purchase agreement which we then forwarded a copy to the credit union. Everything was handled without leaving the house. The car was ordered on Thursday and it was delivered the following Tuesday. The majority of time between was spent playing email tag with the credit union. We didnt think it could be done but we actually didnt have to leave the house. Pretty darn easy, maybe too easy.

Its my fortune to come to know about Okuma Enterprises. I had never used a car broker, but because of 5 stars review on them, I stopped by their office without appointment. Brian was there for me, and we started a leisurely conversation like being in my living room. The next day he found a car exactly I wanted, which was only one left in Southern Ca, with a great deal(saved $5,700)! Then I went to his office just to sign the papers and pick up my new car. Usually they deliver your new car to your house or office but not in my case due to the drivers schedule. After researching the different Toyota Hybrid models, I landed on the Camry Hybrid XLE with all the bells and whistles. I have used Okuma in the past for several purchases and requested a quote online on the Okuma website.That same morning I received an email acknowledging my request and that Larry would be assigned to me. After a quick phone call with Larry to go over everything I wanted, the search began.Just a short 2 hours later, Larry called and found my vehicle for near dealer invoice. A few minutes after that, a Toyota credit application was sent. After all the formalities and approval, the car was purchased and delivered to my workplace 3 days later. I should note that the 3 day delay was due to my job demands and a credit freeze that I had placed on my SS #.In total, maybe 1.5 hours in time was taken for this purchase. They value long-term relationships with not only their clients but they also have great working relationships with the car dealers. This is not easy and can only be accomplished by the companys values and the employees that work at Okuma.Larry Oshima helped me with the lease of a new Lexus. What’s great about Okuma is that they have been around for about 55 years and they were the first Auto broker in existence at the time, so they know the ins and outs within the car business to help find you the best deals. Larry Oshima helped my mom buy a 2008 Nissan Altima years ago and just recently he found me a used 2015 Lexus IS250 with less than 20k miles for a great price. I was referred to Okuma through a couple of friends. This was our first time using a broker and the overall experience was excellent! The short version: the process could not be easier and I had a better feeling compared to dealing with the dealership directly after the purchase. Got a good discount and the vehicle was delivered to our home, which was very convenient! Planning on returning next time we need a vehicle!The detailed version: Went to the company’s website and filled out an application (previous night). One of the brokers (Ken) called me back the next day asking for a few more details about what features we were looking for on the car. Also asked what dealerships we visited and if we already test drove a car (so he could make it clear to the dealer he wasn’t stealing us away from them). At the time we had a vehicle to trade in/sell. A form was e-mailed us shortly asking for some information regarding the condition of the car and a few pictures. Within a day or two, Ken called back saying there was a car available and quoted us a price that was about $3K less than sticker price. We needed some time to look into our financial details and complete the form for trading in/selling the car. After we finally analyzed our expenses, we told Ken we were willing to go through with the purchase (ended up not using Okuma to sell our car, not on them at all). Got one more call from Ken confirming details regarding delivery and telling me there was an extra option being included in on the car, no charge. The dealer claims they forgot to tell Ken about it, which would normally increase the price. But Ken told them we were already quoted so the dealer didn’t push back. On the day of delivery, Ken showed up along with the new car, we went through the paperwork in our home, and the transaction was complete. Overall the speed of the transaction and convenience was great! Ken was a pleasure to work with and I hope he’s still there next time we need a vehicle! The only time Ken made any type of pressuring comment was to save us money (interest rates would be rising soon and he didn’t want us paying more than we should) and I appreciate him looking out for us. For those who want to avoid the horrible feeling you get after talking with someone at a dealership, I would definitely recommend using Okuma.

This was our first experience going through a broker and now I cant imagine going through the process any other way!! We priced out our car through Costco but Brian Misawa found us exactly what we wanted and saved us a bundle AND delivered the car! Update in 2021. Our 2018 Honda Clarity lease was about to expire and I did not want to deal with the process to lease another vehicle, so I contacted Zina again. During the pandemic, it has been really difficult to find a SUV due to chip shortages with various auto manufactures, but Zina and Jay were able to find a Honda CRV and Mazda CX-5. This review is long overdue, but I wanted to express my gratitude and share my experience. I began looking for a new vehicle last July. I contacted Zina and gave her my exact specs. I knew exactly what I wanted down to both color and trim level.
