2024-06-25 14:47:09We just love the location here. The resort feels like it gives you those moments of peace and rejuvenation. The beautiful setting is beauty and comfort mixed with details of old and new that gives you that feeling of inviting and being pampered at the same time. This is why it has us coming back each time. The views, the comfort and the customer services.

2024-06-23 00:34:32Had an absolutely lovely family reunion at The Ojai Valley Inn. The grounds and buildings are lovely, the ambiance impeccable, and the staff are absolutely amazing and accommodating. Special shout out to Pixie Pool employee Liz who provided us with astounding cabana service! Really made the trip feel special for us all! Thanks again for the lovely time!

2024-06-25 15:49:30The entire property is very beautiful. Relaxing environment dabbled with some lively shops and restaurants if you should feel up for that. Our bathroom vent leaked someone’s cigarette smoke from somewhere but when we left for our beekeeping experience, maintenance and housekeeping came by and fixed the issue. We had one bartender at indigo pool who was less than welcoming but the manager, Desiree made sure to let staff at our next adventure know and they comped our first round of drinks. Any bit of discomfort was immediately made right, no questions asked. This is what it means to be 5 stars. My friend and I felt well taken care of and quite spoiled the whole time. If I could change anything about the place, I’d say the pools could use some upgrading. The cabanas and chairs were lovely and comfortable but the pools themself were nothing special and rather small. Overall great experience. Will absolutely return.

2024-06-26 04:40:12Very beautiful property! A lovely spot to relax and enjoy.Overall, I enjoyed the pool with views to the mountains, the plushy robes, the quality of the shampoo/conditioner/ lotion/soaps in the bedroom, and just the overall ambiance of this sophisticated property. At arrival, we were greeted by the valet crew. They parked our car and also took our belongings to our room. I appreciated their care of placing my husbands shirts in the wardrobe (we took them hanging inside a long garment bag) and how they carefully placed my hats also in the wardrobe. Every time a person places an item down, I see that as set opportunity to demonstrate care. It was clear that whoever brought in or items was a thoughtful and caring individual.Check in: it was all right. Nothing outstanding. At their price level, I would recommend their management to take the short field trip to The Lodge Torrey Pine and experience how high end service at check in is provided. My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday. He had added notes on the online reservation and mentioned again at check in. The 2 receptionists cheerily said, happy birthday, which I appreciated. What was a bit surprising is that hotels at this price point will consistently have some kind of item symbolizing their gratitude to be chosen for a special occasion - Id say at the very least a note. The Lodge at Torrey Pines gave us a card signed by the management along with a sparkling wine. At the Belmond, in Iguassu Falls, they pretty much spoil a birthday individual rotten! (I got a couple of little truffles upon arrival and a small personalized cake in the room + every interaction with staff members were by my name and celebratory). I could go on and on with memorable experiences such as these that my husband and I have collected throughout our 18 years together when experiencing nice hotels, but the point is: if you plan on gifting someone with a stay here, know their current management does not invest in celebrating their guests special occasions. Our bedroom was beautiful. Very clean with a very comfortable bed. I appreciated the tablet as we used it for music. Their steamer for clothes is excellent. No slippers provided. No turn down service. The service at the pool was excellent. We checked in and were taken to the pool chairs we requested. The lady assisted us with towels (and took the time to lay the towels on the chairs for us) and told us the name of the servers in that area, in case we wished to order food or drinks. The restaurant was nice. Ill write a separate review for it.We were provided with a late checkout at 1pm. Checkout was easy, but make sure you look through the bill as ours had someone elses charges (which were removed promptly upon pointing it out. Up to 7 days for the charges to returnto the credit card). This place is dog friendly and kid friendly and it is sweet to watch everyone around in pure state of joy. There are firepits in some areas in the property to sit around, watch the night fall and enjoy smors. Sitting under the wish tree is lovely.Other than that, there are many activities for children and adults (such as rock painting, candle making, succulent planting, etc.) each with their own specific fees. The spa was not at all impressive (take that money and go elsewhere).**the hallways in the building we were in smelled funky (like sewer). All in all, this is a very beautiful hotel and worth checking it out at least once.

2024-02-15 22:20:00Everything exceeded expectations! The facility was beautiful, the room and the amenities lovely. We ate, we played golf and enjoyed every moment. What made our stay extra special was the extra special team of the Ojai Inn. From the moment we arrived we felt that they felt that their job was to make sure we enjoyed our stay.So many times and in so many ways they anticipated our needs and went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay. I could go on: let’s just say we will be back and we tell everyone we love to go and enjoyThank you everyone at The Inn

2024-02-01 04:37:12Nestled in the picturesque Ojai Valley, Ojai Valley Inn, offers a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. As soon as we got there we felt a sense of calmness. The open fields, Spanish architecture, fountains and historic trees makes this places the most unique place .We took advantage of their breakfast buffet which was $75 per adult and they had an amazing selection of options. Crab, oysters, lox bagels, pastries, omelette station, mimosas, and more! After we ate we walked down to their activity center and the kids got to paint a bit. Then we went to their pub and grabbed pizza and appetizers and they were all delicious. Whether you seek relaxation or adventure, Ojai Valley Inn is your premier destination for a memorable escape.

2024-04-26 17:50:18How did I forget about this amazing property? Have stayed multiple times and come up for day trips and special events but wow - start to finish everything is so perfect! Service - Rooms - Amenities - restaurants - golf - gym - spa - pools - activities including bikes. Never need to leave the property but have the great town of Ojai just in case. Definitely notice some upgrades - Additional fire pits with adorandok chairs - updated bar and dining. Highly recommend for a day or a week or longer. Thank you for a great getaway

2024-02-22 20:23:37The pictures on the website don’t do this little slice of heaven justice. The rooms are immaculately appointed, complete with a personal tablet, cozy bedding, Nespresso coffee maker, and a giant soaking tub. A fabulous fitness facility, spa, 4 pools, and great food make the resort a place you don’t need to leave. Just walking or biking the undulating paths around the property is the cherry on top of this wonderful experience.

2024-03-03 03:28:55Its an absolutely beautiful property, but sprawling and be warned if you are staying in one of the many rooms that are a 10-15 minute walk from the main lobby/restaurant area. They are horribly short-staffed, and the golf-cart shuttles that run around the property are extremely few and far between. Last night, the staff told us they would specifically call a shuttle to pick us up for our dinner at 7:20. We waited outside in the rain for 15 minutes, and not one shuttle came by, despite waiting at one of the designated shuttle stops. We ended up having to make the 10 minute trek in the rain to the hotel restaurant - the explanation being that they are short-staffed.There are plenty of positives about this inn - the food at the restaurants is hard to beat and the housekeeping also does an amazing job. But with a property of this size and at this price, you need to have reliable and regular transportation for your guests to get around.
