We love farmers markets but this was pretty underwhelming and very overpriced. Fairly small. No dogs/pets allowed.

Nice farmers market. Small but you’ll find fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables here. We bought fruits and they’re the sweetest and freshest we’ve ever tried.It’s worth visiting!• Limited Parking• No Pets• Bring Cash

The produce is great and the people are AWSOME. Very friendly and informative about their products. We are not lical, but found many items to bring home including lavender, olive oil, wood crafts, Apples, papayas and much more. We also saw cheese, fresh chicken and eggs. Oh, and of course great flowers!There is a public parking lot across the street. The market is held on Sunday morning and closes by 1pm.

Lovely selection of farmers some from right here in the Ojai Valley. One may find, in addition to fresh vegetables and fruits in season, fresh flowers from more than one vendor (the grower from Carpinteria has a great selection. Other vendors offer flowers in addition to other things.); honey, a few meat and poultry sellers (top notch), olive oil, eggs, baked goods - BreadLok from Santa Monica generously drives up to vend at this FM. Theirs is a gluten free bakery and oh so wonderful - fav is the olive bread and that lavender dessert cake! Trying the focacia this time. Anticipating greatness. Stepladder creamery comes down from Cambria with excellent cheese. Goat and cow. Grooving on Cabrillo right now (manchego like). Theres even a coffee roaster selling beans (not coffee to drink). BTW, its all open now without capacity limits. Honestly not crowded at all when I went. Masks are still required (writing this review April 2021 while pandemic still in play. Obviously, things may be different in a few months). So grateful to have such a blessed FM.

The best farmers market in Southern California. They are doing such an excellent job keeping everyone safe with social distancing. Carolines jams and marmalades are little works of art made by a French artist who chooses jam and marmalade as her medium. So delicious!❤😊👍

Was well organized, and had a lot of great buys. We bought ripe limes (they turn yellow when ripe) and they were sooooo juicy and sweet when we cut into them. Bought a papaya as well, and oranges for fresh orange juice. They had some other neat buys, like baskets and bags but we were there for food.

Omg amazing! Perfect produce in the height of freshness! Ate a 1/2 pint of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries each in 2 days! So amazing and sweet. The citrus was to die for just wished I could have taken more back home on the plane. Also got some freshly roasted coffee.

This was my first time in Ojai and their Farmers Market. They have a splendid town with unique and very talented artists. I definitely recommend people visit for the relaxed atmosphere and if youre looking for special presents, this is the place.

Nice farmers market in Ojai. The fruits and vegetables here are extremely fresh and very good! They have some other unique items like handwoven bags, hot sauces, olive oils, etc. It’s only on Sundays but if you’re in the area definitely worth a visit. Just make sure to bring cash as some of them don’t take credit cards.

This is really the most aesthetic farmers market in the area. Really nice selection of fruits and vegetables from many of the area farms, most of which are organically grown. There is also a good variety of handmade goods. Beautiful market. Great place to bring out of town visitors.

Not here for the farmers market, but this is all day parking for free. Signs say not to park from 3am to 6am, and theres a charming keep ojai local sticker on one of those signs.

Not as large as the LA farmers market, but lots of fresh local produce and very friendly vibe. Also a few performers providing live music, which was fun. We couldnt find the EBT/Calfresh booth so we didnt end up buying anything.

This is by far one of the nicest Farmers Markets with an excellent variety of vendors. The Goat cheese stand was my favorite and got most my money, Violet with her fantastic smelling natural hand made soaps, the gluten free coconut macaroons, fresh eggs and grass fed beef. I bought so many rare plants too. Of course I came home with bundles of celery, lettuce, chard, collards, micro-greens - I even tried pine needle juice and the fresh pear juice was out of this world. Bring lots of cash - you wont be able to control yourself! I did not buy my fruit here as I prefer Nancys daily fresh picked fruit stand over on Lomita and La Luna.

Local must-do event if youre in town on a weekend. A great place to see some of the best goodies in Ojai without having to visit all the farms individually. Meats, veggies, honey, olive oil, various herbal concoctions and oranges of course await you every market along with whatever seasonal specialties are currently available.

Came here while on a weekend trip. Bought some of the famous tangerines and some olive oil. Love the location though parking was difficult. We managed to wait around for a spot in the parking lot across the street - 2 hour lot I believe. It was enough time to try the kombucha place, shop at the market, then grab burritos at the homemade tortilla place.

There are certainly wonderful items which cannot be found at the Channel Islands, Ventura, or Oxnard farmers markets. It has certainly been worth the long drive to pick up a quite a few of the specialty plants & groceries not offered at the other markets. The friendly farmers offer a lot of thoughtful information about the products theyre offering too!

Lively, lovely farmers market thats a nice size without being so big you feel overwhelmed. Fresh fresh organic veges and fruits and many handmade household items from lotions to bar soap to baskets and wooden crafts. Alsl found some homemade pies! Friendly atmopshere and live music, open Sunday 9am-1pm. Parking is available in nearby lots, 2-3 hour parking.

Should encourage the vendors to accept venmo etc! There is a line out of rainbow bridge every Sunday just to get cash back to go-to the market. I didnt have any cash on me so i was only able to buy 1 or 2 things from the vendors last time i went. Its all good, but it is 2019 after all 💚

Visiting from out of town and decided to check out the famous market. We thoroughly enjoyed it until one of the soap vendors was extremely rude to my wife and I and ruined the experience. We asked if the soap had a glycerin base and they replied with Why would you say that? Dont pretend you know what youre talking about. And continued snickering as we walked away. Because of those two ladies, we wont be back on our next visit to Ojai.

Bicyclists BEWARE!! Not cycle friendly. They want you to leave your bike parked outside the market, nowhere to lock it. Basically asking thieves to steal while you are shopping. Also I was very underwhelmed by the town of Ojai. Ive been to several Farmers Markets including Dallas, Santa Clarita, and Santa Barbara, and I was allowed to walk my bike into the market with bags attached to store goods. NOT the case with Ojai.

I’m not sure what’s “Certified” as many of the produce vendors source from the same places and are not organic. The supermarket across the street is usually cheaper and organic. Things other than produce are quite pricey here but very nice.

This place is open on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It mainly sells organic vegetables, fruits, flowers, crafts, etc.However, although the price is not cheap, you can find something worth buying. If you want to compare prices, it may be helpful to first go to the nearby Westridge Midtown Market and do some market research on the product you want to buy. If youre staying in Ojai on Saturday night, you can also check out Ojais Certified Farmers Market on Sunday morning. This farmers market is held every Sunday from 9am-1pm, where you can buy fresh organic produce, seasonings and handmade snacks, as well as handmade art soaps, candles and other handicrafts. The local area is rich in pixie tangerine, a kind of orange that is only available locally. If you see it in the supermarket or farmers market, dont hesitate to buy it and try it. It is so fresh, sweet and juicy, and the taste is very refreshing!

Everything is organic in this weekly market. Located in the heart of a Californian “hippy town”, the market offers an impressive variety of products. Not always cheap, but if you want to find all types of quality fruit and vegetables this is the ideal place. One of the rare places to find good organic and local avocados.Ps: Carolines Marmelade offers a wide variety of homemade jams carefully prepared by a fellow expatriate, a delight.
