I would give 10 ⭐️ if it was an option! Patrick was amazing! We did a private beer 🍺 making class and had a blast. We learned a ton, Patrick made it fun and a one of a kind experience. Thank you!

These guys are a great resource for learning how to homebrew. Patrick and everyone including some of the customers have been very helpful and informative. Honest pricing and great knowledge sets this place apart.... and it can be a lot of fun because they are funny and easy going

My new favorite home brew supply by far! And Ive been to many. The owner welcomed me right away, gave me a tour, and had me sample some of his creations. He was very informative and willing to help. Walked through my recipe with me and made suggestions, and that batch turned out excellent. He is always available by phone to answer my questions and help as I fumble with my new system.

Met the owner Patrick today. Super nice dude that does an awesome Donald Duck impression. The shop itself is a little hole in the wall but has everything youd ever need. I love the fact that he put together packaged deals of brew equipment for all levels of brewer. I will definitely be back to get a kit very soon.

If your a home brewer or thinking about making your own beer, wine,mead, cider or kombucha, and are anywhere near auburn. You gotta stop in. Patrick has a ton of knowledge he can share and get you setup with just what you need and help you stay on budget.

Its like a playground for adults!!! Definitely a place your wife wont let you go without her so you dont spend too much LOL. They have anything and everything you could need to start. They are super nice and knowledgeable.

This is the only homebrew store Ive ever visited so I have nothing to compare it to. However, with how great my experiences have been here itll probably be the last one I go to as long as I live in the area. Patrick is great, hes knowledgeable and passionate and will gladly talk beer and brewing with you for hours if you have the time. Roy is also great but I dont see him as often so I dont know him quite as well, I heard hes the mead and wine guy if you need help with that.With large purchases they typically seem to price match Morebeers online prices and make it really easy to shop local instead of online. Im a homebrewer and an assistant brewer in a local brewery and I love having this store in our town

The owner, Patrick, is incredible! Just hearing him speak and listening to his story, you can tell this guy really knows his stuff and jut wants to help pass it along to others. I got to try some of his award winning brews and MAN ITS GOOD! He holds monthly learn to brew classes and theyre so much FUN! 4 hours of brewing, (bring your own snacks and most importantly, favorite craft brews to share and chat about)- and the 5 gallon wort is raffled off at the end for the winner to ferment! Its amazing! Good for birthdays, friends night outs, and more- I know he does private events too! He shows you how easy it is to make your OWN craft beer- This is one place you need to check out! My daughter recently surprised me with a gift certificate for OHara Brew House Supply. The certificate allowed my wife and I to take one of Patricks brew classes. I had dabbled with other on line and store bought kits in the past, but wow, the class we took was incredibly informative. Patrick really puts on a fun class. We took his beginning Learn to brew class and currently have 5 gallons of a Citrus IPA that we are about to bottle. Looking forward to advancing our skills and knowledge and taking one of Patricks Whole Grains classes.Whats also very nice is Patrick can provide you with all your needs to get started. This place rocks! They have just about everything for winemaking, beer making and distilling. Obviously not everything but they can order some of the less demanding items. Their customer service is far beyond amazing. You are almost istantly brought into the family. They offer help, collaberation and even classes. I was not expecting to have such an amazing day just going out to buy a few supplies. Keep up the awesome work. Best place i have found so far, locally.Thank you Patrick and Roy! Came in for some assistance with a couple corny kegs I bought elsewhere and MAN was I blown away by the quality of service that was presented. The owner, Patrick, is an absolute stand-up guy and a pleasure to work with. Super friendly, helpful and pretty darn funny too! The only place I go for all my beer making supplies. They have recipes ready to go and can grind the grain however you like it. Just made an amazing IPA from one of their recipes. Super glad we have a place like this in town.

I needed some help with my brewing process so I stopped in today and was pleasantly surprised by how helpful Patrick was. I needed a couple items to bottle a batch and was trying to figure out the fermentation process for a Getman Lager. He was able to walk me through the steps and set me up with the right ingredients. That was awesome! I even figured out my water filtration dilemma. Thanks Patrick, Ill be back soon!

ITS ABOUT TIME A-TOWN GETS A LHBS! Patrick is GREAT. I stopped in close to closing and the place was slammed. He has an amazing selection of fittings, malts, hops, adjuncts and equipment. Literally everything needed from the most basic starter kit to the most advanced homebrewer. I work part time for a craft brewery, and I saw that another local craft brewery employee was also in there. We started talking shop and he said Auburn Brew Supply House was the ONLY place in the Sac area that had the parts he was looking for. Patrick gave me some great insight for a Sour Im brewing for a friends wedding. His expertise, prices, and inventory are second to none! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to just stop in. You wont regret it.

You may in certain instances find items they sell there for less online though at OHara you also have the ability to interact with what youre about to purchase in person which I find makes me more confident in making my purchase(s). Offered very knowledgeable conversation on home brew meanwhile offering a couple of beer tastings from his homebrew class and even his own brew... kiwi strawberry blonde to die for! The best home brew supply anywhere in the Sacramento area. Imagine if Brewmeister had things organized, priced, and ten times the amount of product... you’re almost there. Then, throw in Mr. Patrick O’Hara, who’s positive and affable nature lend a welcome sense of inclusivity to his eponymous brew store.
