The worst customer service I have ever dealt with. The managers there today should not have their positions and need training on how to talk to people. I was being so nice and they were so rude. I will NEVER go back to OfficeMax in Downey. They do not deserve my money. Too many competitors with cheaper prices. The cashier though was so kind...he needs to be the boss!

I must say the service and the staff at this office max is the worse of the worse have had bad experiences since the place opened . Every time I come in they have to special order at least one popular item that I come in for . I will not be coming back !!

Had a terrible experience a few weeks ago. Tall dark male was extremely rude terrible customer service, i was trying to get some things printed out and he told me there was a long wait time which i found odd because there wasnt a lot of people in the store and everytime i go my things get printed right away and to top things off he said he was going to charge me extra because its my second time printing with office max which isnt true because its probably my 5th time printing with them so why all of a sudden the extra charges??? Anyways the younger male was really nice he should be manager instead..he was trying to help me print my things out asap till the tall dark male intervened and made things difficult and a lot harder then they should be. DO BETTER.

Horrible customer service, they are using both lines for printing services instead of having one for customers buying actual products. Instead they rather sell $0.25 printing jobs then selling to customers buying $40-$100 products. Their loss!

I looked up the price for a printer cartridge at the OD web site and then went to a local store to buy it. After I got to the store I saw the post price was $8 higher. I was not willing to pay the higher price. While in the store, I used my phone, went to the website, and figured out that the price was an online price that included a discount. I decided to go ahead and order it online. After going through the hoops to order it online I took an ink cartridge to the checkout and was told I had to wait for the order to process. After 15 minutes, we realized I had accidentally had the order sent to a store in California instead of Salt Lake City. An older sales person tried to help me, but after another 15 minutes of trying to cancel the order I gave up. He said the order in California was SUPPOSED to cancel when I didnt pick it up. He said I could buy the cartridge at the online price. He also said they would have matched the online price in the first place if I had asked.I will obviously be watching to make sure the charge is reversed for the cartridge I will never pick up. In the end, I went to Costco and got a multipack of cartridges that were several dollars cheaper per cartridge than your online price for a single cartridge.Way too much confusion and chaos for such a simple purchase. I will not be back.

Made an online order for a couple of posters for work. There was a delay, which is fine. However, when I arrived the photo print employee was incredibly rude throwing around everyones projects, including mine. She tossed my posters across the table and dismissed me. There was no quality check or checking to make sure that the order was given to to correct person. Incredibly rude and unconfidential.

I purchased 4 items from this store. They first delivered 2 items one day, and a couple days later, they delivered the other 2; on the first deliver, they never communicated with me until they had delivered the items by my entrance front door, which, I consider not safe to leave articles where anyone passing by in front of the house can see it. For the second delivered same thing, they did not call or send me a message that delivered was on its way, but only after they delivered it they called me, and nobody was home. The deliver guy broke a display deer in my patio. This just tells me that they don’t deliver items in a profesional way. I will go to the store and see if I can get a refund of the cost of my broken article.

Horrible. They open at 9 I was there at 10. They tell me the machine to laminate is off so to come back the next day to pick up my item. Because the machine takes a while to warm up.....one person at the copy max sitting down talking to a customer. Personal conversation while she has 4 people waiting in line. When ask if there was anyone available they said no thats all we have.

They are always low in stock on packing boxes. Checkout employees will ignore you and talk to other employees and will make you stand in line for minutes until they finish their conversation when it has nothing to do with training or management.

Office max has to be one of my favorite stores to by office supplies. I find many products I look for! They have a good selection of writing materials. Mechanical Pencils, Fountain Pens, and theres alot more! I also enjoy printing here. Its very inexpensive and I can come whenever I have no ink. There can be some discounts so make sure you check before you start Shopping!

I came to print funeral programs using a PDF document and of course its not aligned with the paper I was using. Unfortunately, I couldnt get a different format of the document.
