Vicki is rude and should NOT be working in customer service…She doesn’t even try to accommodate us…. We were in the back trying to get some prints made….she walked away and I guess spoke with Nolan and didn’t return to the portion of the counter where my husband and I were standing for over 15 minutes!!! This is our 2nd negative encounter with her! Office Max needs to train her better or get rid of her!!! Period!!!

Because of people like Logan, who, before I shopped, checked on the status of my Rewards dollars. I had received an email saying I had money to spend. He looked it up and confirmed it at the register and told me to just provide my phone number again when I checked out. Ana checked me out and I said, I will probably get a survey and whats your name? She said, Ana, but Logan is the one who helped you with your question. What an outstanding young woman to make sure her colleague gets credit where credit is due! Shes awesome in my book, too! Thank you!

I stopped your on febuary sixth Tuesday 2024. I was running late for for a project and I stopped by different office supply stores and they either made excuses that they were closing or didnt have enough time or staff or what have you. And I walked into the store I I was greeted. I walk to the back of the store and I seen a big line so I said I cant wait I dont have enough time it was about 8:30 pm. What do the front of the store met Anna at the register who was helpinga customer . She was very polite and said that a gentleman who was her co-worker would help me. I wanted to transfer some information from a meeting recorder to a USB or some sort of thing like that.Mr Dat. Even though they did not offer a service like that this gentleman took it upon himself to look it up online and try to assist me the best he could but the lack of my information or knowledge with the stuff prevented him from helping me with the help I needed.All frustrated I walked to the back of the store hoping I would find somebody else that may understand my computer illiteracy. I ran into Mr Nobu. I told him my dilemma and with no esthetician he said he he could help me but he apologized said there were a couple more customers he need to take of. Within 8 minutes he was back took me to an area where he suggested what to buy what I needed and so did Mr Dat. He took me to the plug the things in together I dont know what he did but he told me that I needed to wait 17 minutes for these things to upload and Iwas ready to go. What an amazing crew.Nobu you are An Angel in thank you Ana,Dat,And Mr Nobu.keep up the good work.

Office Depot has so many items that I use in my classroom. Ive always found the staff to be super helpful. The store is well-organized and clean. On a recent visit a staff member helped me order notebooks for my class that werent on the shelf (they were only available on-line) and had them delivered directly to me - so convenient. Highly recommend this place!

I required a new file cabinet for my home office to organize my documents. The customer service team helped me choose the right size and style to match my decor. The file cabinet is of superb quality, with smooth drawers and a stylish design. It has made organizing my documents a breeze. I had a bad experience in this store I went to laminate some copies of vaccination cards but I was surprised that I had to cut them by hand by myself and glue them to laminate them since a male worker from the store did not want to cut them with his guillotine machine that the store has and thus be able to laminate them in total there were 8 cards that could not do this job and I had to do it so that they could only laminate them .The day before I came to this same store and a young woman who works in This store cut my photocopy with the guillotine and laminated my photocopy of the vaccination card. I recently went to this Blossom Hill location and Imani refused to put my purchases in a bag! She has a little attitude and lacks customer service skills; she never smiles and is always rude. Whenever I go to this Blossom Hill/Almaden Expressway location of Office Max, it’s difficult to find an employee to help me other than the employees who are busy working as cashiers. I shouldn’t have to stand in line to ask an employee to help me find something. So, I can’t be in and out quickly out of this store. Even if there is an employee working on the floor, they never ask customers if they need help and if I ask them questions, they don’t seem to want to help me so they don’t come across as professional, helpful or knowledgeable about the products.When I go to their sister store, Office Depot in Los Gatos, they always provide great service and an employee approaches me to ask if I need help as soon as I walk into the store. The Los Gatos Office Depot is always professional and polite.

I was welcomed upon entering the store, the sales associate asked me how my day was going (in a way that I felt that he genuinely meant it) since it was pouring rain outside and it was New Years Eve. I told Sep ( I think that was his name) that I was looking for a new 2023 desktop calendar and he led me directly to the display of them that was conveniently placed right by the checkout line for procrastinators like me. Sep was friendly and good-humored. I didnt have to wait in line, the cashier was friendly and pleasant as well. I got in and out of the store quickly so I could take care of my other errands.

Today, February 7, 2023, I went to print 7 photographs because I needed them urgently, the seller, a young Asian man, told me that there would be no problem, he would print them, he had me standing in front of the desk for 25 minutes waiting for the photographs since he was busy filling out some paperwork with another employee there, finally after almost half an hour of waiting, he never printed the photos for me, he left me waiting and I had to leave, the photos were for a gift, that young man ruined everything.The worst customer service ever! 😒UpdateThe same day I called to the customer service and Logan fix the problem, he gives me a solution, he was really nice and professional, thank you so much Logan, you are the best 👌 😀

Being here is the same as being “a kid in a candy store” with all the colors of pens and patterned notebooks.I came here for ink cartridges and a print job. I ended up finding a proper stapler too. I walked up to the front with said stapler, and the clerk paused to ask what I needed and directed me to the printing area. On the way to the front, I found some G2 ultra fine (0.038) black ink and fine (0.7) blue ink cartridges, a rare find. 👍🏽👍🏽

We had a great experience with our purchase of a desk chair at the Blossom Hill Office Max. The GM of the store approached us upon our arrival and allowed us to wander among and sit in the selection of chairs when we indicated thats what we were there to do. When we had made our choice, he was right there to facilitate the sale. He was a warmly friendly man and when you are asked to spend money, thats what you want. When making office purchases, we will be back.

I went there to buy a office chair. I really wanted to sit in them and thats what this place was great for. They had a lot of chairs of different kind out there to test. Each one had good description next to them.I noticed that I liked few and finally selected one. I love it as I have it at home now.I could find staff to help me quickly and they pointed out that they have the same chair available at the front with a great discount. It was assembled for customer who never came to pick it up.I was happy to have the chair assembled and not have all the cardboard trash to deal with.The cashier was nice and quick.

The store is not closing down. I know its an older location but seriously it has the best office supplies for all you need.They have computers. The reason why theyre not out is because people nowadays are thieves and they steal them. No wonder online shopping is notorious..But at the end of the day, This OfficeMax location carries a wide selection of tools for educational and business use. You cant find any other items like a Costco or Best Buy. They dont sell computer chairs or computer desksOverall office depots OfficeMax locations have really great quality stuff.

July, 2023. I bought an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly planner for my job at the school. I literally found 1 planner that fit my needs and I hunted for it. There were no other simular options/selections to choose from. The planner I purchased ended up just a bit over $40. I later found the same planner for $27. I decided to drive back a couple days later and return for refund which went smooth. I go to Office Depot because they are close by and Im a look & touch shopper. I believe with this last experience I will just stop giving them first shot at my business because having to return something is a real waste of time.

I dont frequent office supply stores much for a long time. This store seemed pretty decent. They had most of what we were looking for at reasonable prices. One exception was the price on a month-at-a-glance datebook, near the end of January, for over $25. Going with a similar one from an online retailer for less than $5, including shipping. Staff was helpful in finding things, because the layout of merchandise didnt make much sense to me.Tip: Hurry through the entryway while holding your breath, to avoid the pungent odor there.

To put it simply, there is a terrible odor in this store. Id almost equate this smell to be similar to a dead body. Wife couldnt take it even with an N95 mask on...we turned around and walked out. I cant speak on any other issues related to this store, as we were out in less than 2 minutes.

On April 26, 2022 we arrived at the copy center/ counter waiting for our turn in line. Can I help you an employee asked,Yes we received a call last night, our 7 spiral binder are ready for pick-up. The employee (Vicky) didnt bother looking behind the counter she quickly said your order is up front. I walked up front the young man asked for our name and quickly checked behind the counter near the entrance of the store. Let me check behind the counter at the copy center. Something Vicky could have done but instead she sent me up-front to the checkout counter. We thanked the young man for his assistance after receiving our prepaid order. We asked Vicky if she could make another Spiral binder showing her the ones we had just received from the young man. Explaining to Vicky we could pick-up another day if needed. We wanted it make the same way the previous 7 had been made the day before. We sent the cover letter to the in-store email address. Vicky told us she hadnt received it, so we sent a second email. Vicky said we had sent 2 emails, yes its a duplicate you said you didnt receive the first one so we sent a second. We would like a clear plastic cover followed by the copy we sent in color and on think paper. We are sending you the insert that needs to be double sided with a black plastic on the bottom bound with the Spiral holder. This conversation took place in spanish through out the conversation I had taken notice that when Vicky spoke in English she was pleasant. The problem was while speaking Spanish Vicky was rude we asked if she was upset, why was Vicky being rude to us when helping English speaking customers she was pleasant. I asked why Vicky was rude and felt superior to spanish speaking customers as if she was discriminating against her own culture. She responded by saying dont you try and use the discrimination card on me. I let Vicky know I was going to ask Jeremy ot help us. I walked to the other end of the counter to ask Jeremy if he could complete our transaction. We walked back and Vicky tried to explain to Jeremy what we wanted. I then asked Vicky to walk away I no longer needed her assistance. Jeremy was not only able to understand what we need Jeremy was able to complete the task and we where able to make the purchase minutes later. We asked for the manager she didnt give us her name we explain to her what had taken place with Vicky and how we felt discriminated against for speaking Spanish. She basically said Vicky didnt work in the copy center and she had problems with her children at home. She would talk to Vicky. We do business with office max on a regular basis. Every encounter we experienced with Superior Vicky is just horrible. Not the person I want assigning us on any future visits to office max.

Poor service, especially the copy center. Staff not very helpfull. Under staff, the place smells, carpets are dirty, I wouldnt recommend this place for copy services. I had almost over $500 worth of copying and binding and they werent able to answer simple question as type of bindings available and thickness tolerances.

I bought an item that was on sale, but didnt notice until I had already paid that I had been charged full price. I asked to have it corrected and get some money back, but instead they gave me a $2 merchandise card. When I requested to get cash instead, I was told that they couldnt do that because I had partially paid with rebate money, even though I had paid more than $5 with credit card. I insisted that it had been their mistake and I shouldnt be punished for it, but couldnt get them to agree. Lack of common sense and bad customer service!

If your looking for help finding something the staff mill around like zombies usually so be aggressive and just grab one and keep some spare brain matter for attractant and feeding. DO NOT DROP YOUE FEDEX BOXES HERE!FedEx is not reliable picking up boxes here, I had boxes there for 3 days and nobody will do anything to get FedEx to pick them up.Horrible experience!
