OfficeMax is not like what it used to be. The store doesn’t carry lots of products they usually have. But I’m glad they still have the items I’m looking for.The store still has most office furniture, office supplies, printers, and printer supplies. This is good enough for me to get some stuff immediately!

Great customer service. Special thanks to Austin she is always so patient and kind and understanding. I’ve come in with a few print issues and she always willing to help me get things figured out; her patience is unmatched in the customer service world; we lost a few office max locations and they have changed up the way the print area does things which complicates things for the customer and the customer service rep but Austin has found a resolution to each situation we arrive at, definitely love this location and the environment; wonder welcoming location that helps me out with all my print needs from business card to posters stickers and obituaries; I’ve printed every thing here at this location and I’m always happy when Austin is helping me

I am on the board of a non profit organization. There is a discount available for a long standing agreement with OfficeMax/Depot.I received excellent service from Ali. She went above and beyond in helping me with the printing service that I used. She was kind and very professional. Ali P even came back after her break to further assist and answer my questions. That is so rare in store employees these days.

The staff at this location were very good with customer service, and support of the need to stay within a strict budget. They went above and beyond to meet my needs and get me the best priced items that met my needs for my dollars. Their copy tech also very good. Understood my need and met in in the most affordable price that would meet my order needs. They all were courteous, respectful, not to pushy with sales,allowed me to browse without a constant presence. Which I felt comfortable as well as serviced as a customer. Thanks for your help of finding, meeting my budget,and getting what I wanted with extras.

Pretty frustrated right now as I drove 20 minutes to get here just to be told they cant print out my business cards I already made. They said I need to do it online, even though I already had them made and ready to go. I was at the counter at 1:59pm and the lady politely told me that since its after 2pm I need to come back tomorrow. Wasted my time and gas but at least the lady was very polite about everything. OfficeMax needs to address this issue ASAP or they are likely to have more angry customers in the future, which will more than likely negatively impact the overall wellbeing of the store and company.

I always love the staff at Office Max on Arden. Its my go to store after two Office Max locations that were much closer closed. I have been an Office Depot customer for decades and also use the website quite often to locate items that I need and then order to pick up in store.

Office Max’s prices are high in my opinion, but I shop there for convenience. I recently received excellent service from a sales associate named Armani at the Sacramento Arden Way location. He was very polite and kindly offered to help me with my heavy purchase to my car. I wasn’t expecting that and I appreciated it very much.

Location. the lady on the counter saw my phone doring the package typing.When Samsung received the package the phone was not in the box. I came here to purchase a new office chair for my Dad. It was his Birthday present and he found a great chair for a great price. So I found that chair was in-stock at this location and I couldnt be happier. The staff was incredibly helpful and I was in and out of there in no time at all. This is the worst store in the chain. I went there and they charge me for someone else’s copies because their machines are so old and broken. I return to the store with my receipt for $74 and they stated they would refund my money and they still did not. I’ll try to contact management and they will not respond. The store has a bunch of jokers working on it who thinks it’s funny to mock the customer. The copy machines don’t work. If you put your card in any machine It could charge you for someone else’s products or anything but you will never get your money back from these people for anything. They do not on a refund. It doesn’t matter what receipt you have.

I went into this store to print out one sheet of paper. After waiting for the gentleman to finish with his customer I was put on hold for a phone call that took him some time to take care of. It was only the gentleman and and one other young lady working the document center . I received more information and help from the young lady that was working there. The gentleman made me feel undervalue as a person and customer. I will not be coming back.

For years I have been using this Office Depot/Office Max for their print services, but my most recent order was not up to par. When it was supposed to be same day it said it would take two days, which ended up being fine as I had a lot time before the prints were necessary, but after the “ready” ready date and time I still did not have completion confirmation. At that point I called and was alerted to it being just finished, so I headed over only to see they were still working on it. The resulting foam core poster was not correctly aligned on the board and was already peeling off.If it were not for the late pickup due to their error (10 min before close) I would have stayed and asked for a fee reduction on the product as it was not exactly cheap and was not up to the quality I had expected.I don’t know if it’s a change in staff or management, but the attention to detail on print orders is no longer there. Until changes are made I will not be using their services any longer.

I would make it short:If you want to ruin your day, get frustrated, feel over looked go to this Office Max.Explaining why?I went there 3X, and I called them 2X to just print 2 booklets! Finally placed my order after 2 hours wait in the store (because the girls who were helping me couldnt figure out how the booklet printer is working). Again waited 4 days for my order to get ready and they call me for pick up! but the result was a booklet printed wrong (2 pages were on one page etc.) and the second booklet not even printed! At this time I was so overwhelmed and just asked for a refund and then get overlooked and verbally humiliated by woman who did the refund!Same day, I went to the Staple and they printed the booklets and hand them to me in less than 15 min. and even they charged me way less than office max was going to do!Ill never ever go back to any Office Depo after this!

I came in to the store knowing that I needed a new office/desk chair. I found one that I liked and the worker KIA helped me out and found some others that might be also good. One that was about the same. I went with a good one that I liked. After Buying it KIA helped me put it in the car.Heres where KIA is most excellent. The next day I had a rough time getting the box out of my car. I went back to the store, His is a BIG box and was wedged in the backseat. He was able to use a box cutter and cut the box up some so that we could get the parts out and then load them in the car. He was a nice guy and very helpful.

How do I rate this location? When I first entered the store a gentleman in the copy center treated me and offered to help me find anything. Thats great! Its hard to find that kind of service these days.I found the items I was looking for, plus some. I headed to the register and this is why this review is getting 3 stars.As I approached the checkout line, I lady was texting on her phone. Though pleasant, she continued to text on here phone as she checked me out. She only put her phone in her pants (and really in her pants. Not a pocket), when another set of people lined up behind me assisted by another store clerk.If you are going to be at work, be at work. Pleasantness only goes so far. Even as a checkout clerk at Office Max, there should be some level of professionalism. Give the guy in the copy center a rare and make him the trainer.

In store prices are an absolute scam. Make sure to price match anything you buy here. A 480GB sandisk SSD that is $65 on the office max/office depot website came up as $213 in the store. I had them price match their own website. $213 for an average 480GB SSD is absolutely insane. They go for $40 on Amazon. This place is always empty and clean. Parking in front is always available. Customer service has been terrible. I have only encountered the same cashier and the tone used was very rude and arrogant. Very nonchalant about everything and unprofessional. I though the cashier was asking me a question, but I couldnt hear clearly, so I said, Pardon?. The cashier then said, I wasnt talking to you. Employees could at least try and provide better service. Only going here because it is so close to work and we get toner from here. I needed some images printed and emailed them to officemax, it turned out I had ordered them to be delivered instead of pickup so I had to wait a couple of days but they arrived quickly and looked good. I placed another order and made sure it was for pickup the next day. I called just before leaving home to make sure they would be ready and the guy said he was running a little behind but would have them done. I arrived about an hour later and they were ready. I decided to make additional print and the guy running the dept. was very helpful and showed me how to line them up properly after i messed up some of the copies.

I was to torn with the treatment I received, I loaded my chair into my car got into the drivers seat sat their for a moment, got back out of my car came back into the store, walked up to Kevin and told him eye to eye while the kid who put the chair together listened, I said Kevin you personally have gone over and above anything required, you made sure that I as a customer was happy and my issue with my chair was resolved, I can’t think of another manager who would have gone to the extant you did in resolving my issue, I told him that I knew he went so far beyond and that I was extremely appreciative of his actions and the manner in which I was delt with by him. Terrible Experience with the Print Lady- as soon as I asked how to print couple pictures(from her response seems like she was already having a bad day but none of it my fault so don’t you put it on me) she said “send it to that email right there! So I did and then she printed and then she gave it to me in a whole print paper and I was like am do you cut this too? She said there’s a paper cutting machine right there and I haven’t used kind of machine they have so I was asking her and only response I got was it’s same with all paper cutters!!! I didn’t attempt coz I do not want to ruin the pictures then I went and looked for another employee’s help and he said the print lady does that job and it’s 39cents per so I thought it was 39cents per 4x6 photo and I have 4 total photos in the 2print paper. Then she cut it for me and I was surprised she billed me close to $7 just for cutting and then I looked at the receipt then I realized per movement of the paper cutter it costed me $39 cents so print your photos somewhere else like Walgreens, Sams or Costco Not Here it’s gonna cost you more.

I came in for to have my loose lease textbook binded. It took the whole day. I come back the next to to get it and somehow some 20 to 30 pages were destroyed. They made copies to replace them but it looks funky now. And when I go to use my textbook, the bind comes off easily, to I have to put the binds back into the hole every time I turn a page or risk tearing the pages. Theyre pretty over over priced too. Better just to go to Target or Staples, but this specific Office Max could use some work.

I Go To This Place A Lot And Its Always Very Clean. There Customer Service Is Great And They Make Things Very Simple For You To Get It Done Fast. They Do Seem To Be Short On Staff Because A Few Time Ive Been In Theres A Line Of People Of About 5-8 People With 1 Worker. They Do Treat Each Customer Just As Good As The Next, Without Hurry, Making Sure They Have What They Need And Directing Them For A Comfertable Quick And Easy Experiance. Again I Always Go There Because Of These Few Things And Recommend This Place If Your In A Hurry Or Need Assistance Of Prints, Faxes And Otheres Supplies. Nothing Bad About This Location.

Good selection of common office supplies, school supplies, printer ink(expensive,but isnt it everywhere?), some office furniture (typical particle board, asst required) with delivery and assy available for a fee. Also have limited supply of small office equipment and supplies, i.e. trash cans, coffee makers, labels, organizers, etc. Generic brands and store brand items at lower than name brand prices for some items.
