Ordered a good office chair and paid to have it assembled. When I got it home found it was put together wrong, cant raise/ lower seat. Phoned and connection was full of other voices talking louder than staff, could not communicate. Call to let me know chair was ready was almost inaudible also. I cant get the chair back in the van by myself so cant get it fixed until tomorrow.

The manager Omar was so chill, helpful, and understanding. Just now I was in the store making silly requests on behalf of my job, I felt bad but couldn’t change the situation and had to ask. He made it work and I’m very grateful! Thanks Omar!

You can find better prices at Walmart, but most of the stores are a TOTAL MESS! Good luck finding items in stock! They usually only keep office items well stocked right before school starts.I have been shopping at the Emeryville Office Depot for years. The store is ALWAYS clean, organized and well stocked!!I have never had a problem finding things in this store and if I can’t, there is always someone to help me.If I end up paying a little more, that is better than driving all the way to a Walmart, wasting my time and gas only to find that they don’t carry, or are out of stock of what I am looking for.As far as Amazon…I DON’T want to pay for shipping. I DON’T want to pay a yearly fee to get free shipping. I DON’T want my order stolen off of my porch and I DON’T want to drive to a pick up location!I DO like going into a store to browse around and see what is available as well as seeing and talking to people.The cashier, Maneesha is super friendly and Charles is always asking customers if they need help. Great store for office supplies! The one thing I do miss is some of the quirky / fun things they would get for their Black Friday / Christmas sales.

The staff in the printing and shipping department are super rude toward black customers . They keep you waiting around and looking right at you for 10 mins and than walk over to tell you the department is closed . Please go some where else

Tonight’s experience was one of the worst I had in the last few years. I needed to do a printing job for my business and needed assistance. The man at the counter (I believe is the manager) said he was done for the day and needed to leave. It was 5:30pm and he suggested to wait half hour, or return at 6pm when someone else will start the shift at the printing department. I needed the job tonight and I decided to wait, only to see that after half hour nobody showed up, and nobody was going to!I asked the man sitting by the door greeting customers, if someone could help, and after going back and forth with another employee, it was clear that they both did not want to take on the task. Finally he reluctantly came to try to help but to no avail, no clear instructions on how to upload the documents on the website, wrong information on the amount to pay, and I finally decided to leave. I wasted my time and most importantly left without the job that I needed urgently for my business.Office Depot lost $ 150 and a customer.

The local Office Depot often has exactly what I need and then some. Check out folks are very pleasant. Sometimes hard to find a floor person to locate a specific item, but pleased to have this store nearby. Some times wish I could buy one green highlighter instead of a whole pack in multiple colors.

Self-service copiers are not well maintained. Print shop is perpetually understaffed, so theres nobody available to clear the error message on the machine. Store seems clean enough.

When it comes to big box stores, my expectations are always pretty dismal, but I had a great experience here with a really helpful employee who dug around to find the exact printer I wanted, way up high on an overflow shelf at the edge of the store. Update 2 years later. Service is as bad as ever. I now need to apply to have my discount card and business account work again, and the inventory has gone from bad to skimpy. I just wanted some standard biz envelopes with a window. The prices were bad and the selection worse. Only qt available is 500! Ill get them on line.----original post in 2016-----Since the merger the service has gone downhill, especially at the print desk.You will not get served in order, or even acknowledged that you are going to be helped.Out in the aisles expect to get open mouth staring at the shelves in lieu of information. If you ask WHERE something is you will get asked WHAT it is.

Yesterday, 2/7/22, I went in to have some photos printed off my phone & had a horrible experience, maybe the guy behind the counter was having a rough morning but its still not okay for him to take it out on me! When I arrived I said I had a few pix on my phone I wanted to get printed, his snappy response was, we dont do that here? I shared with him that I had it done in November, did they stop doing this? He snapped again & said, it wasnt with me. Wow, so I said do you print pix or not? He said they do but CVS & Walgreens do a much better job....? Clearly he wasnt interested in helping me. btw - I was the ONLY person at the counter, it was a Monday morning at 10:30am, so I left & sorry Office Depot, Im never going back!

I was pretty unhappy about the experience. I had just gotten my covid vaccination shots and wanted to get my card laminated. I come to this Office Depot and asked for lamination. The man immediately said to sign a consent of release form so you can’t hold them liable, and then he took the card; when he came back the card was laminated but the information from my first shot (which was inserted via a sticker instead of manual handwriting) was completely black. He said to me oh, the heat from the lamination caused it to go black .. here you go. Because of my incident, I told family and friends not to get their cards laminated if they have information on stickers, but it was too late; they already went since I’m the first person to share this Information with them - that Office Depot offers free covid card lamination. I found out from talking to my family and friends that their stores 1. did not make them sign any consent form and 2. the associates were kind enough to tell them to take photos of their cards before hand AS WELL AS made them free copies of front and back of their covid cards, and 3. PLUS (note this) my uncle who had both dose information on stickers came out with PERFECT lamination from his Office Depot. Mine was ruined. I hope this shows you the service. I am still angry.

This is the place to go for printing and big print jobs. I am often rushing to print booklets or posters at the last minutes and these guys turn jobs around in an hour or so, if you call and check. And they are open until 9. Other print shops aren’t as flexible. I’m grateful for them!

I went to Best Buy looking for a computer mouse. Sadly, the model I was looking for was out of stock. Dejectedly, I pulled out my phone and searched for the exact make and model of mouse. At the top of the Google Search I was informed that, a mere 500 feet away, was the exact mouse I was looking for, and it was in stock! I raced through the doors, leaped on my shiny bike, and roared the 400 feet to the door. Sliding from my beautiful steed, I entered the shop, my hair mussed from the helmet and the wild look of eminent victory in my eyes. A grinning shop attendant lead me to the mouse and keyboard isle, where I seized the electronic I had so long sought after, paid for it, and left. One more shopping trip completed. Victory was mine.

It is very good place to take printouts and its cheap. There are two ways you can take printouts one is through USB and another through mail. We have to forward email to office Depot email id then we will get access code per mail. Once we type the access code we can take the printout.. Very user friendly tool...

Simone and her manager were a Godsend today for my Church Mother and I. My CMs granddaughter passed and because I had a medical procedure done we were late completing the Obituary and Church Program for the services. I do like the product in office depot but the disappointing is the system of the Office Depot, when I bough a sale of chair I have to wait around 10m for them to discount from the system. 1 more thing that when I buy a floor mattress for my room, they gave me a wrong product that I Want to my room. Word to the wise: Neither FedEx or OfficeDepot will pay insurance claims on any damaged item sent via FedEx from Office Depot.FedEx wont consider a claim unless it is actually filed by OfficeDepot. Think about that for a minute. You think the store manager is going to sit down and file a claim on your behalf? Its BS, and I learned the hard way.(but all the employees are nice - this isnt on them.)
