I stopped by here with my wife after grabbing lunch at Fogo De Chao. I never been to this Office Depot but it worked out for us because my wanted a multifunction pen. I parked at the Topanga Village parking area but there decent amount of parking spots in the plaza this store is at. When we walked in, I saw that the store is pretty spacious and has a lot to offer. I saw on the right that they had binders over there so I figure the pens will be there too which it was. My wife found the multifunction pen she was looking for and purchase it. The store is very quiet and there are staff throughout the store if you need any assistance.

I had a last minute print job for PostCards and went to another retailer who basically flat out refused to help me. I came to Office Depot and despite the work load, the woman behind the counter was super helpful and went above and beyond. Quality was great. Price reasonable and comparable. Everyone at the store was LOVELY. I will be back.

The most unfriendly and unhelpful worker and a manager that was worse and did not care. I had a problem putting an order online since the coupons that they sent me did not work. I drove all the way to this Office Depot since it says I can use the coupon online and in store. They kept me waiting for over 30 minutes and after keeping me waiting, they said they do not carry the ink I need and have to order it online (I had already told them there was problem in ordering online). I explained that again and they just did not care and said go order online!!!! Beyond ridiculous.

11.22.23 Closed during working hours. I specifically checked twice: the website and their phone message both said- open - till 7pm. When I arrived at 6:20pm it was closed. No note on the door, no apologies, nothing! I had a pick up that was very important. I would have come earlier to pick up if the store had provided accurate information on working hours. I guess it is normal to close up the shop anytime.

Terrible service. I went there to print business cards and asked to print just a few to see how they look like. They said they could only do 50 and rolled their eyes. I agreed because they left me no choice. A young man in glasses talked to me like I did something wrong when I was super polite, old lady who worked with him didn’t even looked at me when I came to the register and greeted her. She left immediately and let her colleague dealt with it. After 30 mins he finally scanned!!!! and printed 50 useless business cards and I had no choice as I paid before. If you can’t do simple task, at least be nice with your customers

Regrettably, my wife and my visit to the Office Depot on Topanga Canyon was marred by an incredibly disheartening encounter with a shady manager whose conduct reflected a marked departure from the expected standards of customer service. The irony here is that were prepared to spend $800 on purchasing a laptop.Upon my arrival, my wife shared her distressing encounters and highlighted how this particular individual, identified as Muriel, appeared to invest energy in curating an unpleasant environment for us while neglecting other customers who may genuinely require assistance. Seeking clarity, I approached this manager and inquired about her name, only to have her walk away without a response.In an attempt to address the obscured name tag, I followed up by informing her, Your hair is covering your name tag. To this, her retort was an indifferent acknowledgment: I know.The concealed identity of the acting manager, notably by using her hair to obscure her name tag, became evident during my visit. Observing her adjusting her hair multiple times further supported this observation. Moreover, the cashiers misleading response when asked about the managers name only added to the evident lack of transparency. Initially stating her name was Kim, I later discovered it was, in fact, Muriel, which highlighted the discrepancies in the information provided.This deliberate act of concealing her identity, coupled with the cashiers misinformation, compounded the sense of opacity surrounding the managerial staff. The obscured name tag, in conjunction with the dismissive demeanor when questioned, contributed to an atmosphere far from welcoming. Instead of fostering a helpful and congenial environment, her actions conveyed an unsettling air of indifference and, at times, outright hostility.This behavior was particularly notable when I sought the bathroom key for my expectant partner – a simple request that was met with undue resistance and attempts to obstruct the process. Such unnecessary hurdles only served to exacerbate the already disappointing experience.Most distressing was Muries derogatory and inappropriate comment regarding the restroom facilities, uttered within earshot, insinuating a lack of regard for the dignity and comfort of patrons. Such callous remarks, coupled with dismissive behavior, not only undermined the essence of professionalism but also offended sensibilities and tarnished the overall experience.It is truly disheartening when an establishment fails to uphold the basic tenets of courteousness and respect, especially towards patrons who seek nothing more than assistance and civility. ⭕️ I had a pleasant experience shopping for a simple office technology from this store. Yesterday, June 15, 2023 at 3 to 3.5 pm. 😇Not only was the price more reasonable than other stores in person and online, but the humane and professional behavior of the staff there impressed me. In todays world we need kindness and human attention more than anything. While businesses are moving towards the use of robots, and while sometimes even robots and automatic machines are more empathetic than some crews working in businesses! Congratulations to the staff of this branch for the reasons I said above, and to myself who had the chance to buy from them.🙏🏻🥰

My husband and I had another great shopping experience at Office Depot Woodland Hills (Topanga Canyon & Erwin). We seem to always find what were looking for and if its not in stock they will order it and have it delivered to you directly free of charge. This time we were wanting a simple black & white printer. The customer service is always great, but this time we want to acknowledge Rodney for being the best sales associate ever! He listen to what we wanted, was knowledge about the product and pointed us to exactly what we was looking for. He noticed the hat my husband was wearing and thanked him for his service. It was the day before Veterans Day. To our surprise, at check out, he gave us a 20% discount on the items we were purchasing. His friendly demeanor, throughout our time in the store, made our whole shopping experience a pleasure from start to finish. Office Depot better hold on to him.

What an unpleasant experience. I had to ask a cashier for a cart - for some reason the only two I saw were cordoned off behind the cashiers. They didnt have the highlighters that I typically use (and which I think our office orders from Office Depot). I had to ask twice about the location of the legal pads. Although, in fairness, I must have just not gone down the right aisle after being pointed in the right direction by a nice staff member the first time. But, it doesnt seem to me that it should be so hard to find legal pads. Then, while checking out, I asked for the 3 color cartridges I need for my HP printer. Although Id written down exactly the model number, the cashier spent 3-4 minutes on her phone trying to figure out what I needed. I finally said I was in a hurry and would order them online. She just shrugged. That was probably $100 sale that the store didnt make. Couldnt get out of there fast enough!

I had a great experience at this location. Excellent customer service. Carolina went above and beyond to help me find an item it turned out that the item wasnt in the store. Carolina helped me to order the item. Martha the cashier that rang up the transaction was very professional and thorough in her work. Next time I go to office depot I will ask for associate Carolina or Martha. Those two associates are true assets to the company. I recall as a kid how much I enjoyed going to this kind if shops (though they were much smaller) and it was fun, with all the color pencils and pens rulers and papers.This shop however give a very different vibe it feel gloomy and not attractive, which is pity as they have such a good potential.We couldnt find what we came for and we did get help though it took over 10 minutes to get the helper to look for what we wanted and ended up ordering it for us online.

Just returned from the Woodland Hills store on Topanga and Im still upset. I asked to have 3 4x6 pictures printed. The usual price is around $1.00. The incompetent person there charged me $1.50 per picture, got one of the pictures too dark, and printed them on large paper requiring me to cut it down to size. He said if he cut it he would have to charge me for each cut.I used to love going to Office Depot for my printing needs....

I dont know why anyone would choose to use the Staples down the street.I came in for the print center an hour before they closed. This is the second time coming over here. Both times they were really helpful. And they actually, surprise surprise, have supplies (cutting board, stapler, etc).And when they say Same Day, they really mean it, just give them a USB or email them, and theyll print it up.

The person who works there(I don’t name him) told me to send an e mail for printing and when I went the day after work, the lady who works there said that the e mails that are sent yesterday are deleted, my question : why the person told me to send an e mail and when I went to print, they told me “sorry we don’t keep e mails in the morning, we have to delete them, does it make sense? Why asking me to e mail them what I need to print and when I go to print, deleted? Does it make sense? You delete e mails means loosing business, why, what if a client comes two days later(because he/she was very busy) and decided to come to you for printing and you tell them, “well sorry we deleted your e mail” please Office Depot next time train your workers to say “sorry we deleted your e mails and we don’t need your business.” That’s how I see it and a lot of people see it that way.Bad business. Taking my business somewhere else.
