I bought some ink from here to help my sister w a school project, the box was closed, but the ink packets inside were open and empty. The refund is going to take days to post to my account, and then I had to buy another ink that same day to finish my project.

I generally avoid chain stores like the plague!Either I cannot find help when needed or the staff is overwhelming interrupting me as I shop until I forgot what I came for !Today is a refreshing shopping experience at office depot on Rosedale hwy in Bakersfield an associate Bobby greeting me as I was shopping .what a difference!!! He was polite helpfull,and most of all he assisted me without hesitation!and without being overbearing ! If more people took his approach when helping customers, the world would be better for it .Thank you to Bobby and all of the staff!

I went in to buy a laptop. They were having a very good sale. The associate assisted me in selecting one which met my needs. He took note of what programs I wanted and didnt want; and, by the next day I was able to pick it up, ready to go!

I needed to get several rounds of bookmarks printed at this Office Depot for a book I published. The print and copy center people went above and beyond to help me.Darius was especially helpful. There was a problem that cropped up, and he was right on it and communicated my options clearly so that we could fix it. All-in-all, I highly recommend the print center here!!!

They actually personally greet you as you enter the store and Darius, Ivan, Sondra, Michael and the rest of the staff have always treated me professionally and with respect. I have purchased several computers, copiers, chairs and tables, etc. over the past couple years at this location and I couldnt be happier with my shopping experience. Copy Center is top-notch too. My go-to place for flyers, business cards and invitations.Big fan of Office Depot...thanks guys!

Horrible experience. I put in a job of about 3 black & white sheets of paper and 2 and a half hours later and it wasnt done. I had to show up in person so the associate would do her job. Ive worked at locations like OfficeMax and the simplest of jobs are the ones like mine. Theyre fillers for when you have down time which she had quite a bit of. I will never go to this location ever again for copy & print services. I dont get how they cant be considerate of the customer and get their work done in a timely manner.

The store is clean and well organized. However, customer service was almost the worst Ive experienced. 2/3 restrooms were out of order. I was sending a FAX & they obviously didnt have enough people working or just werent efficient. I stood there waiting and no one said anything. Finally, someone came over and gave us a cover sheet to fill out. In the middle of assisting me this employee left, came back out of uniform with her phone and purse and just left the store without completing my transaction. Again, I waited. Then I was asked to step aside for another customer but no one told me why it was taking so long. When I was finally helped by another employee and completed the transaction the whole ordeal took almost 40 minutes....to send a 1 page FAX!!

Alyssa at the printing area was a Godsend! She was the unlucky one to help me, and unbeknownst to her she was in for a JOB! My wife needed help getting some homework folders laminated because GW School Supply did an awful job! Alyssa was kind enough to not only tear off the old laminate, she even reprinted some of the old labels GW messed up! Then she laminated AND cut everything; all while I stood to the side doing what I could to help, but truthfully she had it down! In total I was there for an hour and a half and Alyssa never failed to impress! What an asset to this company!

We came into this store November 21, 2017 from out of town around 11am for some printer cartridges. There was no one in that area, and the only employee we saw was in a different department, assisting a customer by the printers.The cashier nearby seem glued to her station and didnt seem to interact with anyone except customers who approached her with purchases. We asked her for help and continued to wait for assistance. Some time went by and still no one (despite her stating they were still on their way). We left without anyone coming to help us and havent returned.

DO NOT DO ANY ONLINE SHOPPING WITH THEM I ordered a office chair for about $200 and when I go to pick it up Im told it was cancelled due to inventory that they just received a new shipment that day and they were still processing it I told them that was inconvenient for a customer I even offered to go to another store to complete my purchase the assistant manager Alicia then tells me that I would have to pay for my purchase AGAIN even though I showed her that I had already completed my transaction and paid for my item she told me that I was not charged anything and that everything was ok I told her that corporate offices would here about this issue today I contacted corporate and filed a complaint terrible customer service for the store and its management will not be shopping here again

The customer service at Rosedale highway in Bakersfield California was lacked professionalism. The staff was unfriendly, rude.This is the first time in my 64 years that Ive ever gave a bad review, I usually just ignore it, but this was just wrong. I will never visit a Office Depot again, the only reason I went today was because target didnt have the ink I needed. Next time I need ink I will wait until target restocks and I will never revisit O.D. again.

My wife and I purchased a nice Sauder desk back in April 2020. The box for both the desk and the hutch had damage to the boxes when we purchased them. The salesman and the cashier both assured us that there should not be any damage to the items inside. We inquired about returning or exchanging the items if there happened to be damage. We were informed that due to the Coronavirus they would not accept returns currently but after the stay at home orders were lifted the returns would be accepted. The desk we assembled did not have damage however the hutch had damage on multiple pieces. I tried to exchange or return the hutch today and was told unequivocally no by the member of the management team. There was no trying to help or offer any kind of solution to the problem even though I spoke to her about the virus issue and she uncaringly told me once again there was nothing that she could do but order me a new one. The cashier mentioned to me that the manufacturer could be contacted for warranty issues.

The selection of items is good, the staff is hit and miss. But the real problem is the cockroaches. Yes, cockroaches as in bugs. I have seen them two of my last three trips there. And the bathrooms are so bad they should be condemned by the local agency responsible.

This rating is for the print and ship section. The employees do not seem trained on how to resize prints and even printing in general. They also move at the speed of turtles when walking. They also ignore the customers when they request things. I had to resize the image because she did not know how to get it to fit in the print area.
