This store is truly a huge community resource, uniquely serving, as i understand, not only our neighborhood but also the city of San Francisco. The store seems adequately stocked, but most importantly, their personnel - at least the individuals i was lucky to encounter - were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. My order-online-pickup-at-store hit a couple of snags but they were quickly overcome with the help of associates. i will single out Michael and Many by name from the few that i interacted with. Having this store and the associates in the neighborhood is awesome.

Different prices online and in-store (despite being able to order online for in-store pickup). When I asked the worker about this, he mumbled something about local taxes, which makes no sense since local taxes are applied for online orders, too. He said they would always match their online price. I said this creates a ridiculous situation where shoppers in-store need to check the online price for everything they buy in order to be sure theyre not getting ripped off.

It would be great if someone picked up my numberous calls, it sounded like they ignore the calls or theyll pick up and quickly hang up, or not say anything and I will hear background noise for several minutes. Very frustrating to get a hold of anyone in any department here.

Probably one of the biggest attitude stores I have been to. All I wanted was three gift cards on separate credit cards so I can get my points on those cards, and it’s not like I kept insisting I just asked once, but they made a big fuss as if I was some scam artist and pretty much treated me like a criminal and I was in their way. Entire transaction took 1 minute so don’t get their attitude. If you hate your job don’t go to work and get paid for it. Simple as that.

I designed a custom 18x24 photo poster on heavyweight matte paper for a 1 day event. Basically used a flowery template border and inserted a photo inside the border and threw some words on top. Simple and elegant, didnt need THAT great of quality (otherwise Id just print a photo for double the cost). There was a good coupon so got $5 off so good promo price to try them out (if I like first print, then Ill print more!)I was in a hurry so didnt check quality before I left. Got home and saw streaks on entire print (including the template border). These streaks are indicative of print nozzle problems or low ink problems. Went back to store to ask them for a reprint. Told me Id just get the same thing. I asked, You dont fix the print issues? She said, they just get the order, and they upload to the printer. Then goes on to question the resolution that I used in the photo. I told her the resolution was not the problem, a. Resolution does NOT cause STREAKING b. I have experience printing large prints and I definitely have more than enough resolution, but also c. streaking is also seen in the border which is NOT my photo. I guess they dont get paid enough to know these things. Staff just refunded me, so I guess Ill try a different store.

Had to get a resume printed out last minute and had an issue with the storage drive I brought that I thought I had saved the document to. Dupree saw I was frustrated and came over to help without me asking and was amazingly kind and helpful! Assisted with finding a solution to get that resume printed and even found my keys that I left in haste to get this done. Thank you!!!

I am currently here and have been in here for the first time ever. I did not even know there was an OFFICE DEPOT at this location. I bumped into a set of umbrellas and picked up the two that fell over and went to look at some cheap MAXWELL headphones when the middle aged Caucasian man employee immediately walked over to me and yelled, You need to leave! I am still in the enterance hallway as I type this review.

The gentleman at the register/front of store was super helpful and knowledgeable. I just appreciate the good back to school prices, helpfulness of the staff, and overall shopping experience. Shopping based on in-store inventory (for pickup within 2 hours!) is just the bomb. Its so much easier than managing packages showing up at the door, and less wasteful. Thats my love letter to Office Depot haha

08/31/23 I Placed an online order for some College Rule 100-Page composition notebooks. My order was fulfilled and ready for a curbside pickup within 20 minutes. I then drove up to the White Color Curbside Zone in front of the store and within a minute a store staff came out and delivered my order.

The OfficeDepot at Arguello and Geary in San Francisco is a really good store to find not only business products but also supplies for those who work hybrid and also school and other projects at a fairly reasonable price. Plus when you’re a member you get credits back on used ink cartridges when you recycle them at any OfficeDepot to use towards future purchases. The Associates are friendly and helpful.

Jamie from Print was exceptional in my two encounters with her with business cards and print jobs.During Salesforce Dreamforce event, we didnt have enough time to get our business cards ready for the next day. With her brilliance, she introduced me to Avery Business card template 28877 and showed me how to use to print emergency cards for my Dreamforce event. It worked. Kudos Office depot. Yesterday we went to pick up an online order. We received terrible attention, a man not wearing the uniform (I think he was wearing glasses), was really rude to every customer in the store including us. He seemed to be the manager. The manager James gave me amazingly great customer service - helped me in every conceivable way with his knowledge, time & patience. Plus he did all the lifting for me, carrying my printer to checkout & right to my car. I think I was a very difficult customer, taking a lot of his time, and he did everything to take care of me & my situation, listening carefully to my needs and presenting solutions. At the time of making my online order for pickup, I was unsure if I had properly placed it so that I could pick it up the day of. In order to ensure I placed the order the right way, I called the store & spoke to a lady who then transferred me to Andre. When speaking to Andre & explaining the reason for my call he was being very rude acting smart as if I was pressuring him to get my order done asap. When that was not the reason for my call at all. When I proceeded to asking him for his name, he hung up on me. I found this extremely unprofessional. So I called the store back & asked for the gentleman’s name. This needs to be addressed. If he has a problem with the position or job he is in that shouldn’t reflect on his customer service.

This newly designed Office Depot is a great store. Nowadays, free parking is hard to find so the fact that they have such a large, covered lot for free is a plus. The stores new layout is better and makes it easy to find supplies. The rows have inventory placed lower, making it more accessible. The service is good and the tech and printing services check all the boxes. If anything could get better, it would be the accurate pricing and placement of items on the shelves, but I understand that items get shuffled around during shopping seasons.

Copy services have only one employee, so if you have a question even about self serve copy machine use, you have a long wait ahead of you. All store staff are friendly and they open new registers when the checkout line starts to grow. While Office Depot offers a huge array of products, in store nnventory is somewhat limited so is often best to order online for delivery to home or office, or ship to store for pickup

I just walked in hand them my USB in five minutes I had my two large 30“ x 24“ prints excellent service fast and reasonable price at this Geary Street locationThe Harrison street location Office Depot has a lot of bad issues took three times of trying to get my prints they messed up on delivery they messed up on excepting the order then they cancel the order then I went back three times to try to pick up my prints and every time they had somebody at the print location who knew nothing about the prints or how to find them or look it up on the computer. Ive ordered on Internet a drum to my printer. I gave to the representative all information, including credit card number, address and asked to deliver this item to the store on Geary Blvd. and Arguello in San Francisco. When I came to the store next day, I was told that they had no drum for me because they didnt do pick up in store any more due to a small space in the store. BTW, they did store remodeling for a long time.Besides, on Internet this option is available even today, 3 days later. A manager even did not talk to me. He did it through a clerk. They advised me to go to another store at the opposite side of town and just buy it. I explained them that I am 80 years old, have problems with my legs,and I am a small business owner and have obligations to my clients. But they could not care less. It took me two hours and two different buses to get there. This experience was so humiliating! Dont go there. And by the way, the store at Harrison street is beautiful - big, clean and everybody were happy to help me.

My impression was that it was more open, well-organized, and brighter, which made it easier to find things. Understaffed. Went to pick up ink cartridge that was ordered/paid online for in store picked up. Waited for 10 minutes before being acknowledged by the copy center staff who were all dealing with print jobs. Why cant they just put it at the cashier instead? They miss the whole point of quick convenient pick up. Thats why they are getting killed by Amazon, which is what I will do next time.

Worst customer service ever and poorly managed store. I researched my ink online and it clearly stated they had it in stock at the Geary St. location. Not only didnt they have it but, they had no ink whatsoever for my printer. Nasty woman at register told me to order it online. The computer that I was there to see was not plugged in. The table needed a tech to operate so the computer could be plugged in, and the tech had gone home for the day. The other computer I wanted to get a look at needed a password to sign in, and no one working there knew what it was. The whole trip there was a complete and colossal waste of my time. Wont be going back there again.
