I initially bought a desk on sale I had to put together, but upon opening the box one piece was broken so I brought it back. After re-considering what I had originally bought and looking at the desks in the store I upgraded to a more expensive model. The manager and staff were absolutely lovely in helping me and accommodating my requests. It’s taken me several days on and off to put the desk together but it turned out great and I love it! They also suggested I open the box in my car and take it out piece by piece since they knew it would have been too heavy for me but myself, I appreciated the suggestion. In today’s world we don’t always encounter people who truly care about others and I felt like they honestly do care about their customers. Thank you for a very positive experience.

I went into office depot about 10:30 on a Monday. I saw one person at the register. I was standing where I thought the line would start and waited. Several people were walking around so I walked up to a register. Two more people got in line. The first person that came behind me began discussing her transaction loudly across the room with an employee. He said he would be right over to take care of her. I said Hey wait a minute. You need to wait your turn. She said well Ive known him since he was a little boy. I said that doesnt entitle you to go before other people waiting. She said something else obviously believing she was within her rights. They helped me, giving me a form. Then helped the next person. I think the staff handled the situation with a great attitude. Signs would be nice, a greeting when I came in so I knew they knew I was there. All told I spent an hour. Mostly waiting. The women speaking loudly across the room was finished in 15 min, something was wrong with her order. They corrected it promptly.

Sales Manager Randy took excellent care of me after driving out to the only store within 50 miles that had a desk in stock, only to find out their inventory was wrong and they didn’t have it.Would highly recommend this store for their focus on customer service and satisfaction. I would make the trip out here again for that reason alone.

Sunday January 14th, 2024, my husband & I arrived at your 1607 Douglas Blvd, Roseville CA Office Depot location. We entered the store at 5:45pm - 15 minutes before closing time, which we knew before we got there that the store closed at 6pm (we had been shopping for chairs at a few stores that night and looked up the hours on Google).As we walked in, we were greeted by a male employee & told right then they would be closing soon at 6pm. We told him no worries, that we knew and understood - as we were looking for new chairs for our office nearby and just needed to try them out in person (didn’t need to purchase anything that night, just doing research for a future purchase). As we walked to the office chair section in the back, he proceeded to follow us and asked if we needed any help - we thanked him and would let him know if we did. I assumed at this point he was just trying to assist us.As we were browsing the first couple chairs, within about 2-3 minutes we were then hovered over by the same male employee who would proceed to remind us of the store is closing soon at 6pm. Since we already knew coming in and had been told & reminded by him at this point, the customer service experience was fading fast as we begun to realize he wasn’t there to help - just seemingly pretending to assist us as he monitored us in the store. He then walked away and started to let us know if we needed help with anything.A couple more minutes passed, and this same male employee came over again, this time startling me from behind as I was in the midst of examining a feature of one of the chairs. He reminded us yet again of closing time and asked if he could help us - at this point I did not want nor would accept such help, as it was apparent there were issues with us being in the store. He would then monitor us from afar, continuing to observe us from a nearby aisle.We finally were left alone enough so we could look at the chairs, but then about 5 minutes later a different person (this time a young female employee) came over and told us they were closing now. Both employees now were in the same section with us and advised us again that they were closing and we needed to leave. Now I was very upset at the lack of customer service plus the level of disrespect I was receiving.Irritated by the service experience, I went to tell their manager at the front counter about what happened in store as we were leaving. As I arrived at the register to explain the situation, the manager seemed to have an issue with us - addressing us in a matter like we did something wrong and began to have an attitude about how their store operates.She goes on even to state that they have employees purposely following others around in the store to help prevent theft and loss, but insists that this wasnt the case for us being there. Im not one to steal anything nor a chair for that matter, and it’s an unreasonable assumption on their part to think we would or could even lumber one of those huge things out the store - let alone the multiple of them needed for our business. But seriously, who says and does that to their customers?As soon as I requested the corporate office number, the manager just dismissed us altogether and walked away to help another customer - vaguely pointing to her computer monitor saying it’s there with a loose wavy hand gesture. She pretty much stopped being helpful and didnt try to resolve the situation at all.There was nothing about our visit that day that I could identify as good customer service, let alone I would never do business with a company that just treats their in-store guests with such disdain - like criminals. My plans to buy office supplies and furniture from your company for my business ended that night, and I am highly inclined to report this discriminatory experience to the BBB as well.Also, when attempting to call the number that was poorly given, it was a false number to corporates & when trying to call the store directly there was no one to answer.

When you need something for your business, check the Office Depot/Office Max website FIRST! They had everything I needed, which of course was last minute. Those other stores only offered shipping options; no pickup or curbside, because nothing was in stock! Thank you Kas for all of your help as well.

Awesome Printing shop project. It was easy to upload my construction drawings and work plans to be printed. Everything came out just right, some single and others were double sided, options for 3-hole punch, and stapling.
