O’Connor Electric did an excellent job installing wall mount tv’s, fixtures, and adding additional electric units throughout our house. They are very knowledgeable and efficient as well as very friendly and respectful of your property. Fair pricing, excellent workmanship and honest. My main service panel needed replacing and I needed an additional panel. I have solar so it made the whole project more complicated. These guys are very knowledgeable and have years of experience.

George and Justin installed 2 240v lines into our garage for EV charging, installed or fixed 3 ceiling fans and installed several ceiling lights. They did a timely and quality job, arrived when they said they would and charged the estimate price. George returned and replaced, at no extra charge, one of the ceiling fan switches after it failed a couple of weeks following original installation. I would use OConnor Electric again if need be.

OConnor Electric is fabulous. George came and trouble shot some electrical issues regarding light switches, some panel checks, repaired lighting in a bathroom fan. Replaced a broken switch, exterior plug repair and reassessed attic electrical issue. Had to retrace some issues that were caused by someone not knowledgeable about electrical.. He was professional, careful with all my furnishings and flooring. And very respectful and arrived on time ready to work. Thank you George for a complicated job well done. He gets a 5 stat rating from us for sure.

I lost electricity to my outdoor kitchen, and the owner, George, came out to take a look. Turns out it was wired incorrectly when it was built, with inappropriate wiring for outdoor use. George explained the problem and solution in detail, and promptly sent me an estimate for pulling out all the old wiring and running new. It was a big job, and they were able to schedule the work within a couple weeks. George was professional, personable, communicative and punctual.His wife Tammy who runs the front office was also a pleasure to deal with. Everything was completed promptly and exceeded our expectations. We knew we wanted new recessed can lights but didn’t know exactly where to place them. O’Connor electric provided recommendations for placement of new, removal of an older fixture, and updated light switches. Installation involved more work that I anticipated but O’Connor electric was efficient and kept the job very tidy while working around our Christmas decorations. George and Terri OConnor are fantastic - totally devoted to customer service. I hired an electrician - not OConnor Electric - to install outdoor lighting, and the lights kept going out. This electrician did not show up when he said he would, eventually came by once to fix the problem and charged me again even though his original work was shoddy - and the problem was STILL not fixed. And he never returned my call or showed up again. I reached out to OConnor Electric on a Saturday morning and they contacted me right away to explain that they do not do outside landscape lights. When I explained that I was having enormous difficulty getting anyone to even call me back, let alone show up, Terri offered to send George over right away. She could sense my utter frustration and desperation - so few vendors care about customer service anymore. George came over within 30 minutes, and was nearly immediately able to tell me that the original electrician did not run the right electrical lines, but that I could likely fix the problem by going to LED lights. I did that, and it worked. George came out to look at a problem when he does not even do landscape lighting anymore. He could have easily just said we dont do landscape lights. But Terri listened to my story and offered to help me. George gave me a fix he thought would work, and the name of a reliable outdoor landscape lighting company if the fix did not work. This level of customer service, excellence, reliability and affordability is rarely seen these days. I will use OConnor Electric for all of my electrical needs and have recommended them to my friends. They are the best of the best. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Had multiple outlets stop working after hearing loud pop. Unable to determine cause so contacted OConnor Electric for help. Teri OConnor contacted me very quickly even through they were out of town. She set up appointment, explained how they based their billing charges and answered all my questions. George and son arrived early and got right to work on our 60 year old wiring. Found the problems, replaced outlets, fixed issues with prior poor wiring and had us fixed in about 2 hours. Very through, explained everything and left nothing out of place after. Great experience and very happy to recommend OConnor Electric. They are a local family owned/operated company in Granite Bay area that handles small things like mine was and large installations for new lighting or upgrades. I just moved to the area, buying my sister’s home. The back porch light could not be turned on. My sister had a handyman try to figure out what the problem was and he was stumped! I don’t know where she found O’Connor Electric, but likely from a listing online. George and his team figured it out within 30 minutes, if that! What also impressed me was that I showed George what I wanted to do with lighting on the side of the house. I just happened to mention that I was having a pool put in my yard in April 2021. He could have just signed me up for additional side lighting, but instead, suggested I wait when the pool work was underway, because the pool company would be tearing up the concrete anyhow! I hadn’t thought of that and appreciated the recommendation. I’ve since set up another appt. to have a new outdoor light installed this month. I would highly recommend George and his work. He is conscientious about wearing a mask and his prices are very fair.

George is the type of guy Id send to do work at my grandmothers house; can figure out whatever you have going on, and wont try to pull wool over your eyes if you dont know a flathead from a phillips screwdriver. We recently moved into an existing house in Roseville. On the day our cable, internet, and phone service were to be installed, the installer, after about a half-hour, said he couldn’t because the wires to our “smart home” had been “chopped up.” We had no internet and no cable and no idea how we would get things to work. We could not find out how the prior owners got TV and internet service. Desperate for more information, and juggling everything else one goes through when moving into a new home and not taking time off from work, I called O’CONNOR ELECTRIC on a Saturday afternoon. Terry answered the phone and was very pleasant and professional. She listened to my story, and – surprise – scheduled George to come out the next day on Sunday morning. George is a true pro and a fast and thorough worker. He diagnosed the electrical situation with the house, determined that we actually had internet service (which the cable guy led us to believe was not set up), and got our router working. I was then able to call the cable company back and explain that service to our house was possible, all thanks to George for figuring out how. George and Terry are truly a class act and I highly recommend their company.

In the past I have been taken by Electricians who try and upsell other services, but with OConner they actually do the opposite, try and save you some.
