Ive been to a number of different garages in the Oside area and OM is the best bar none. Connor helped me out at the counter and provided excellent customer service. The building is impressive swarming with BMWs. When I saw the racing BMWs I knew I was in the right place. Thanks, gents!

So I brought my car in to get a new set of coilovers. Conner recommended some Ground Controls by Koni. I went for it and the shipping time took a while. I had to wait a couple weeks before the shop got the parts. They installed it as soon as they got it. They even washed and waxed my car before I got it back. Loved that very much! The Ground Control coilovers feels awesome. Stiff but not too stiff. After about a month of regular driving, one of the shocks (rear-driver) gave out. So I brought the car back to Oceanside Motorsports. Since its under warranty the guys took care of business and got the part replaced for me. Only downside is that I had to wait 3 weeks before I got my car back. But while I was waiting they did give me a very reliable loner, Goldi (Corolla). Its been about 3 weeks since they replaced the faulty shock and my car has been really pleasant since! A+++ for the team in Oceanside Motorsports 🫰🏽

I tend to work on my own vehicles, but my current schedule left me to look around for a shop. Coming from someone who is pretty hesitant, I couldnt be more pleased with their work and honesty.Recently brought in my 2018 M2 for a diff output shaft seal replacement. Connor and Craig were very thorough, answering everything I needed and provided all documentation of the work being done. From a courtesy inspection, to lending me a vehicle, these guys go above and beyond!

I was impressed with their service. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service. I took my Mercedes in for service and they provided a thorough explanation of my car’s inspection. No shop had ever taken the time to thoroughly explain my car’s needs, they did better than any shop I have been at (including my experiences at local Mercedes Service Center). They provided shuttle service and honored a complimentary wash, which was excellent too! Great prices and AWESOME Team of professionals.

It’s hard to find a shop that isn’t just out to get your money. Oceanside Motorsports has got to be the best place I’ve EVER been too. They are on it from making an appointment, going out of their way to see you make it there and back, they explain what they’re gonna do before they actually do it and then after they give you a report on what they found and what needs to be addressed asap, I think that’s amazing!! I even got a thank you card on my dashboard when I picked up my car. 😊 Thank you guys for your help keep up the good work. I’ll see you again!!

Everyone from the front desk staff to the mechanics were kind and gracious. They gave a very thorough diagnostic with many photos and explanations. The diagnostic was helpful understanding which recommended repairs are more urgent versus soft recommendation. While I elected to hold off on some of the recommended repairs (for now), they took care of the issue at hand in a timely manner. I needed new driver side tie rods, which completely took care of the shaky ride I was experiencing. Complementary Uber pick up service and car wash were both nice touches as well.

Im very happy with the service I got from OMS. From the moment I called, Connor was very kind and displayed some great sales skills, after speaking with him I felt I would be a fool to take my car anywhere else. I brought my 2017 Mustang in for an alignment after installation of some aftermarket suspension parts, and was somewhat weary to bring my car to a Euro-focused shop. To keep this review short, I found great value here. I received a ride home from the shop to my house free of charge, I was offered a ride to pick up my car free of charge, my suspension was aligned, the parts I had installed were checked for torque specs, my charging system was checked, and the real bonus was that they washed my car, inside and out. It was spotless. They even got all of the smudges off of the inside front and rear windows that I could never seem to get out. To top it off, I received a hand-written card on my dashboard confirming the inspections performed, with positive comments from both the technician and Connor. I was also provided pictures and records of the inspection delivered to my email. All of this for $98, as I had found a groupon. Even without that it would have been $170, which would still be a deal IMO. It is clear the OMSs business model is built around customer retainment via exceptional customer service, and this is a business model that is all to rare today in the US. I will return for anything else I cant do myself. Thanks OMS!

As always great service!! They diagnosed the problem I had with an oil leak & discovered a warped valve cover that other shops did not notice & would just change the gasket. One thing I can count on is that they always do a full inspection & go over what a good time line things should be done & in what order. I also had concerns about oil consumption & now we are doing a test to make sure she’s not over consuming. I wish I would have had previous work from other shops done here. Plus some services come with a lifetime warranty!

I had a great experience with OMS who was recommended to me from a friend. I took my BMW there for a wheel alignment. They were communicative, on time, the pricing was as expected, and they provided me with suggestions and a timeline for upcoming services. I drive in all the way from rainbow to get my maintenance done on my 2015 335i. I love the experience at this shop. Quick and easy drop off, the shop management system lets me see pictures of anything that comes up during inspections, and these guys are super knowledgeable when it comes to BMWs. I love my car and want to keep it running forever and these guys are certainly helping me do that.

These guys are great. I blew a tire and had to pull over and wanted to change my tire in the shade. The owner came out and offered help and just ended up changing my tire for me. I will definatly be coming here to have any car work done from now on. 10/10 customer service, and I wasnt even a customer. Good thing my car also needs an inspection in another 100 miles.

There is no better choice than OMS for our cars, period. These people are the definition of friendly, professional and dedicated to their craft. My 328 recently had its warranty expire, and the truth is, it was almost a relief knowing I would no longer have an excuse not to take it to OMS first for any services needed. And even when it was still under warranty, I could count on them to help me ensure the dealer did repairs right! Cost on these types of vehicles is simply NOT cheap....ever, but at least at OMS you know where every dime goes and that its well spent. Simply put, theres nobody more thorough in helping you know the current status and health of your vehicle at all times. When I pick up my car from the dealer, they would give me the invoice and acknowledge the repairs completed, but when my car goes to OMS, before I ever even head their way to pick it up (unless theyve provided the pick up/drop off courtesy theyre more than happy to do) I receive an email with a total vehicle diagnostic detailing every current and potential concern my car has. This service alone is worth THOUSANDS to me!!! Im not talking, hey, heres other places you MUST fix now or your car is gonna die type communication, Im talking front to back updates and IMAGES of the real condition and concerns my car has. No pressure, no pushing for more, just simply heres what we see, just want you to be as informed as possible! Lastly, if youre thinking Well sure, you love them because youve never had a major issue/problem with them, so of course its all roses, youd be dead wrong. One of my early experiences with OMS dealt with a MAJOR disappointment and frustration I had with a large repair job. Long story short, Neil (owner) REFUSED to allow me to be unsatisfied and did whatever it took to make sure I was pleased, not just satisfied, with the outcome. Thats not hyperbole, thats EXACTLY what he did, and it was that issue specifically that proved to me beyond any doubt that all the 5 Star rating stuff wasnt just happy talk at OMS, this place DELIVERS, and with a smile every time!Im not gonna sugar coat it, I dont always like my estimate or my bill, but Ive learned thats the cost of maintaining these types of cars like it or not. But even more importantly, I will also say that Ive NEVER paid my bill and picked up my car from OMS wondering if it was worth the cost or if my car was handled with care and class, because at OMS that is NEVER A QUESTION!!I dare you to go and prove me wrong!!

I had a bad fuel leak in my wifes Porsche. OM was able to get me in quickly and diagnosed/assessed the issue. They categorized their findings by priority and were realistic about what needed to be addressed now and what can wait. Very straight shooters. My E36 M3 is my pride and joy. I came here for a concern on my vehicle and the OMS team were amazing. They were able to address my issue within 24 hours. Not only did they provide a 100+ point inspection WITH pictures, they were able to discuss what the best options would be that would fit my budget. Its like going to the doctor, but better.Not at any point in time did I feel as if OMS were trying to pick my pockets and or I feel as my vehicle was going to be in the wrong hands. Took my truck here for the first time on May 3rd 2023 and I couldnt be happier and more impressed with the service I was provided. Craig was my service representative and from the moment I called to schedule my appointment he was both helpful and knowledgeable about the walnut blasting procedure I was looking to have done. The shop got me booked quick with an appointment within 4 working days of me calling. Met the whole team the morning I dropped my truck off and everyone seemed very passionate about the work they do at the shop. Craig was able to get me checked in and off with a loaner car for the day all within 30 minutes. They had my truck done by 4 PM that same day. Along with the exceptional and professional work performed, Craig walked me through a complete inspection and health check on my vehicle that they performed prior to conducting any work- definitely a great help in keeping track of known issues or for identifying new ones! Craig also gave me a complete step-by-step walkthrough of the work performed on my truck so I knew exactly how it was cared for. They got me out the door with a healthier vehicle, a free gallon of coolant, a thank-you card, and an OMS coozie.If you want a professional and reputable shop in North County that can perform both routine and specialized automotive work these are your guys. No BS, but still give you enough information to make informed decisions on how to care for your vehicle long term. Definitely will be coming back when I need more advanced work done to my truck that I cant do in the garage.

Enjoyed working with Craig on some fairly extensive work on my ‘91 318is. Got into a lot more than I’d initially anticipated, but happy with the result. I like that they do a seriously comprehensive inspection (with photos) prior to work so you can generally see problem and/or improvement areas - found several we addressed on mine from the work done. Would recommend trying them out for any Euro vehicle.

Their customer service is unparalleled, and their communication is top tier.Their vehicle inspection give you a list of everything that could or needs to fixed on your car classified by how urgent the issue is. You can go through that list and approve or deny the repairs that have been recommended. As a new BMW owner, I am still learning much about my car and how to appropriately care for for the vehicle to ensure healthy and FAST driving. I learned about Oceanside Motorsports, when I first bought my F87 M2 & finally brought the car in for an oil change, assessment & holistic health check in December. I can’t emphasize enough how helpful Craig was, as a service advisor. He made every effort to help me understand what was going to be done to the M2 & took extra time to ensure I was happy with everything. Christian is another amazing service advisor that helped me understand my oil evaluation and results. Ryan, who is now my favorite technician to trust with my M2, did an excellent job assessing my car’s health & fixing an exhaust rattling. These guys are great with customer service, making you feel special and a basic oil change on a Porsche. I spent $2600 and half of that was to replace parts that didn’t need replacing. And after a simple oil change and battery replacement, they failed to reset my car properly to get rid of the check engine light. Fortunately, for me, Google has the answers to things like that and I reset it myself.

I HIGHLY recommend taking your car in, speaking as the biggest non car person out there, they give you honest opinions of what needs to be done without feeling taken advantage of. I know NOTHING about my Audi other than routine oil changes, and the fact they specialize in German cars gives me massive relief just dropping it off knowing its in good hands. They explain everything in a very simple format so I can understand logistics of whats going on and are VERY fair with standard and premium quotes, and dont shame you one bit if you opt for different services, theyre great. The camaraderie of the staff is fantastic and you can tell they get along well and are still incredibly professional and BONUS are car enthusiasts so you know they care about your car. The texting system and online reviewable quotes are awesome because who likes talking on the phone anymore :)

Like seriously, can I work there too? Or just come hang out every single day?Every staff member is knowledgeable, thorough and honest. And they’re patient with me, the most finicky of customers.And when I say thorough, I mean THOROUGH. Not a stone left unturned, they always provide me with a comprehensive list of items that could be fixed on the car. But never any pressure to spend the money to fix everything. I get to pick and choose, fix what I can afford to as I go.This is a business model that every auto shop should follow. I brought my car in for an alignment after some DIY repairs. They were able to get my car in same day. They completed an inspection on my entire vehicle which identified several issues that needed to be addressed. When it came to the alignment they told me the car was still within alignment specs and didnt need any service. It’s tough finding a shop you trust, especially with European cars.I unfortunately needed a new transmission a few months back due to a reverse synchro failure. This is one of the best auto repair shops that I have been to. Neil was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and I was confident that the shop was trustworthy. Neil sent me an inspection report with pictures attached to each discrepancy or recommended item so that I could see exactly what the mechanics could see. I was surprised at how detailed their inspection service was. With a link to my vehicle with pictures listing what was wrong if there was anything I needed to be aware of and change soon. I was originally there for a quote estimate on a clutch install, but they performed a free vehicle inspection which was really thorough. I can tell based off of the inspection alone that they’re very professional and care about their customers. The only two reasons I can’t rate 5 stars is because I haven’t had a real service done here YET, and the quote for my clutch install was a little on the pricey side ALTHOUGH it’s likely worth it. Nonetheless if you have a European vehicle and need something done, I highly recommend this place.

All I can say is WOW! Fantastic, thorough, good work. Brought in my 08 M5 with all sorts of issues including it not starting. These guys fully went though the car and checked EVERYTHING. After they did a diagnostic check, they sent me a detailed email (with pictures) showing everything that was good, upcoming services, and issues that need to be addressed right away. They didn’t try to up sell me and only fixed what actually needed to be fixed and what I asked for. I just got the car back and it’s driving better and smoother than ever. Extremely disappointing experience!! Really not sure what happened. Was working with Neil who is the owner and he seemed like a motivated well intentioned individual but he ended up dropping the ball BIG TIME! They did a pre-purchase inspection for me a on a vehicle that I ultimately purchased. The vehicle had several issues requiring immediate attention. Honestly, I elected to proceed with this risky purchase based on the fact that OMS was going to manage and handle the necessary repairs. In addition to these maintenance items I also indicated to Neil I was interested in making some modifications to the vehicle. All in all we are talking about perhaps $10,000 plus of potential work that OMS would be getting from me. However, as I previously mentioned they completely dropped the ball. For some reason, Neil was unable or unwilling to ever prepare any job estimates for the work to be done. Mind you, we are talking about a lot of different projects and I wanted to see what it all looks like on an estimate so I could see what I was getting into. Over the course of several days, Neil promised to me, repeatedly, that he was working on it but nothing ever materialized. I’m really disappointed that this didn’t work out as I took a leap of faith on buying this car knowing that I had (what I thought) was a quality shop to oversee the rehabilitation of the vehicle and now it has been a couple weeks and I have no choice but to move on. Ultimately, OMS and Neil seem to be a lot of talk and no action.

OMS is the place to go hands down. Their really informative. When it comes to work quality, it is really superb! When I took my e39 awhile back, It was about my throttle cable. I knocked it changing some boots. I noticed before hand, almost all my screws in the engine bay were stripped. Nightmare btw. Well when I got my car back, they took out all the stripped screws and replaced it with new ones. Didn’t even ask them and they didn’t even charge for labor. These guys just really want to see their guests projects/daily build in a inclining way. They go above and beyond for you.. and then some. Again, very knowledgeable. I have been bringing my 2002 VW Westy and my 2015 Audi Q5 to OMS for a few years now. The service is excellent, and the cars run great. Recently I had OMS do a thorough inspection on the Audi since the warranty limit was coming up. They found 2 issues that they recommended I bring up to the dealer when I brought the car in for a recall issue. When I did that, the dealer service manager was very cooperative and explained that they would be happy to do the work, and that they need the customer to bring up the warranty issues/complaints before they can do the work. I’ve been coming to OMS for 2 years now. Austin always greets each customer with a smile and asks how they’re doing. I can tell these guys work hard but they also don’t forget to have fun and enjoy what they do! The team keeps me informed throughout the day the status on my car. They never try to oversell. I have been going to Oceanside Motorsports (OMS) for about 4 years now. When I met Neil Daly, the owner, and was instantly impressed by his professionalism and enthusiasm. Then I met the staff. Wow - They treat my car as if it was their own, and they talk to me about my car and I have been able to get to know them personally. I get a full inspection of my car each time I go in, with information that lets me know what items are good, when I need to think about other maintenance, and if there is a leak, how trivial or bad that leak is and when it should be repaired. My car is a rare 2000 BMW and had about 100K miles on it a the time, it now has over 200,000 miles on it and I have not had one problem with it since bringing it in to OMS. OM did a thorough diagnostics on my 2007 BMW 750Li, and found some things that were pretty much what I expected for a 12 year old car (that has been well taken care of before I owned it).I had them replace all 8 spark plugs (NGKs), they did a synthetic oil and filter change (along with their magical treatment), drained and filled the rear differential, replaced the key FOB battery, washed, and detailed the vehicle, all done in about 5 hours.With the new plugs (plus oil and the extra oil treatment / deep cleaning) I noticed the improvement right away as I left their facility.Since Im going on a trip to Scottsdale Arizona this weekend I wanted this routine maintenance done for the piece of mind, and they said it was trip-ready.Of course Neils team found a few things that I will need to address in the coming months so the car wont have other serious issues, which is appreciated.Nonetheless, job well done, and I recommend them to anyone needing a good, honest shop that truely wants customers to come back for all their maintenance needs.

However I was originally quoted based a generic repair guide that did not outline the actual necessary steps required for the service required on my car. This inherently forced the price to jump another 500 dollars on top of what I was originally quoted. They are extremely honest with what your car needs and doesnt need. They went above and beyond the typical shop when it came time to service me. I have a difficult work schedule and they were totally able to accomodate me and work with me to make it a nonissue. When I decided to have them take care of a couple leaks after my free oil change during their Black Friday free oil change promotion for new customers, they immediately got me a loaner and delivered it to me at work. You really get what you pay for here, since they go so above and beyond what any other shop would do. Even taking pictures and including them in the vehicle inspection report. Great group of guys. My car broke down on the vicinity of their shop. Neil and Austin were very clear and concise with the needs of my car and not pushy at all. They worked with my budget to identify the most important items to repair first and what could wait some time. Where to start? How about Neil, he is an absolute professional, from yhe initial full call to the final pick up of the vehicle. This review is loadedbecause Neil and his team really made a lot of repairs! First, Neil scheduled a car swap at my office as my schedule was not conducive to coming to his office. The car given the as older but drove well and it was as nice to have a free replacement. Neil completed a full inspection promptly and sent it to me vis text and email. The report is excellent because it is highly detailed with pictures (proof). It is presented in a way which id easy to understand and it identifies what aspects of the car are in great shape vs those that need repair. It is a planning tool as all repairs may not be needed at once. Neil explained the findings thoroughly and we agreed on the first tier of work to be completed (critical) including brakes and spark plugs. I so love the fact that Neil installed premium brakes which will last 60k miles more and he offers a guarantee. I typically change brakes around 20-25k. In the inspection he found several leaks and broken valves (I appreciate the pictures) and noticed steering wheel out of alighnment. I had leaky fluid and car drove unevenly. I decided to fix as well. I alao opted to have headlights restored as they were foggy. Neil also noticed my tire had damage onnthe sidewall (serious) and contacted the tire company which I had a warranty with and he ordered me a new tire and had it installed. So, I received s car back that was in really great shape. It drives well and I feel much safer now. I really appreciate the sttention to detail and honesty in the process. Tgey ate definitely a consultative company and want to earn your business. I highly recommend Neil and his team!

I couldn’t thank Oceanside Motorsports enough for the drastic recovery of my vehicle. I ran into an unfortunate year in 2018 moving from Hawaii to California I was hospitalized for a year and my vehicle had been sat out in the sun baking by the storage company holding it. With that came a lot of dry rot hoses, expansion and contraction of components and degradation. The price quote I had received from BMW was outrageous and OMS managed to repair and replace about 90% of the issues for less than half the price BMW had quoted me.The cool factor outside of pricing and quality of work had been all the extras thrown in that I’ve never encountered with any other shops. After having serviced my car elsewhere, I have to say Im more than thoroughly impressed with the service that I have gotten at OMS. Neal and the team (Thanks Jake for taking care of my baby most of the times Ive taken it there) have done nothing but wow me ever since I stepped in the door and the service has been nothing less than spectacular. I drive my e36 extremely hard and as such it requires more attention than most. Since the car has been in their car, its never run better. The attention to detail and prompt turn around and service shuttle drop off and pick up allows me to schedule in services mid week with ease. The full diagnosis report of the car when in also gives me a heads up of all service issues and allows me to plan accordingly. While not cheap, there is great appeal with their lifetime warranty program, so while you may find the parts cheaper elsewhere, they wont be backed by the awesome warranty. As an avid autocrosser, I am extremely pleased with my experience there and love the enthusiasm that comes along with not just track builds and racing, but also just as much enthusiasm for autocross and other forms of motorsport. There is nothing more exciting than allowing me to drive my car hard and Oceanside Motorsports allows me to do just that. Oceanside Motorsports is the best repair shop Ive ever experienced!I own a new 2016 VW GTI with performance bakes that were making a mess of my wheels. They were dirty just after a few miles of cleaning them.They replaced my factory brake pads with low dust/performance pads and did an excellent job...Pads are quiet, and perform well, and (after the break-in period) produce far less dust than my factory brake pads. My wheels stay clean now!Not only do they perform excellent work, they also give great advice on anything else that might be an issue with your vehicle...My door seals were producing a bothersome creaking noise when turning and/or going over bumbs. Geoff recommended that I put wax on the door jams and now theyre as quiet as can be. Great advice!Ive been looking for a dealer alternative for routine maintenance or repairs not covered under warranty for quite some time and Oceanside Motorsports is definitely where Ill be going from now on.

2007 335i...Let me just say this is my second time there...and, to be blunt, theyve earned my business. Heres why:- You call and, inevitably, Steve answers the phone. In fact, he doesnt just answer the phone, he engages you...hes very friendly and he doesnt try to sell you. Period.- He knows his stuff...and, once he asks your name, I think he pulls up the car data from your previous visit.- Price: Youre driving a BMW or some other decent car...dont be stingy...in fact, OMC isnt cheap...but its a fry cry less than the dealership...- You can see the cars in the back and mechanics working on them...they will even give you a tour of their shop...its been packed with cars but very clean....and everyone is in a uniform and looks like they like what they are doing.- Did I mention that they dont oversell? Big thing for me.- Neil, the owner, is there...he works.- In and out, as promised and I think they even note that youre a BMW CCA member...which gets you a hand wax vice the usual clean.- They cleaned the car spotless.Anyway, highly recommended...and Ive already sent one of my friends there....They earned their 5 stars...Ill let you know if they keep them all.

Recently, my 251,xxx mile E46 325i with wagon was eating a ton of oil, falling out of 3rd gear, and the clutch was horrible slipping. I brought the car to OMS to see what the deal was and unfortunately they informed me that the head gasket was toast along with the clutch and transmission needing urgent care. Upon their discovery, I got a call from Neil at OMS and he explained my options: either we can fix the head gasket, then see what we can do about the clutch and transmission, or we can source a complete drivetrain from a E46 330i and swap everything in - more or less for a similar cost.Long story short, I now have a 2002 BMW E46 330i wagon with 251,xxx miles on it the rides like is brand new and drives way better than it ever has before with its new heart. OMS sourced and swapped the engine, transmission, driveshaft, and rear diff and got the car back to me all within 1.5 weeks.I picked my car up after hours on Friday afternoon, filled up the tank with petrol, and drove it 6 hrs to Arizona through the desert and the middle of the night and then 6 hrs back on Sunday with zero issues at all (about an 800 mile trip). To me, that is the best testament of being able to fully trust your mechanic. With these guys you get what you pay for with no surprises, just good vibes. 10/10 would recommend OMS and I am so stoked on my major upgrade. Thank you guys!

These guys are the best! Service is a big deal to me as im in the service industry. Above and beyond is what these guys are all about. I have an E92 M3, an E39 M5 and an E30 track car. They all get serviced and or repaired here. From regular maintenance like oil changes and brakes to tasteful upgrades . Ive had a few BMWs over the years and I found these guys about 3 years ago. Ill start by saying that the owner Neil is a friend of mine, but up until this week I had only had a small job done when he first opened. I will say I didnt get any Special treatment as I still had to pay what anyone else would.My old BMW E28 went in for what I suspected to be a fairly straight forward shift linkage problem turned out to be torn shift bracket welds. Steve was great and kept in touch when they found the problem and offered a couple repair options. As this is by no means a show car or race car we went with the least labor intensive option which required cutting a hole in the carpet under the center console where it will never be seen so a plate could be securely welded in place.While they were doing the work they found a broken transmission mount and a leaking fuel line. Again Steve quickly contacted me to decide how to proceed.At the end of the day, I also had them install a limited slip differential (which I already owned) and modified my Z4 short shifter so it would no longer hit the console.When I got the car back it had received a Bath and Vacuum as well as a list of recommended repairs. While this list was quite extensive (its an old car that was $300) it shows how thorough of an inspection they perform on every car.While I normally do all service work myself I will deffinitely bring my cars there for the jobs I just dont want to do!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi my name is David I. Few days ago I had an experience that I will never forget. Its taken me this long to absorb what just happened and finally write this reveiw. Let me first start by telling you that what Neil and the Team at Oceanside Motorsport did for me and my daughter can never be expressed though just mere words. They literally saved our lives.Last February we got hit by a drunk driver that left us homeless and living in our car. With loss of job I was unable to give proper care to the car. Seemed like every month there was a new problem. Needless to say this car was our only life support. Brakes started grinding metal to metal, and sounded more like a real live freight train rolling down the road. We were absolutely stuck.That same day I got a text from Neil the owner of Oceanside Motorsport. He introduced himself and said how he wanted to fix my brakes free of charge. My mouth dropped in disbelief.!! He heard about my situation though my attorney and he explained how he wanted to help out the people in his community. We talked about our kids for a little bit and I could tell right away that he had a gentle soul with a Golden heart. Everybody working there was so courteous and professional. Great vibes..all around there.After two short hours his team not only replace my brake pads but they replaced the whole entire drum system on both my rear brakes. If that wasnt enough... They used high performance parts, full inspection, full diagnostic, filled the oil, took digital photos of other problems that may come, and told me to come back next week so they can fix the rest of it.!Wait..did I mention they also Washed and Vacuum my whole car.Who does this.??? When owning a vehicle that you can easily spend more in one service visit than the car itself is worth (which I gladly did), it’s crucial to have a team that you trust making recommendations of what do do, and more importantly, what you may not need to do. After a thorough inspection of a car I bought sight-unseen, Neil put together a work order and explained each item in detail. Although I have been working on my own cars for a long time, there is a limit to my capabilities and Neil had no problem sharing the to-do list with me, in fact, he encouraged me to do as much of the work myself as I could and put together parts kits for me to take home. The work OMS did was done meticulously and quickly, and I’m now extremely confident in the reliability and performance of my little E30 and I am an OMS customer for life. Now I just have to convince my wife that further race-prepping my car is a worthwhile use of our son’s college fund. If you own a BMW and care about your car, OMS is the perfect place to have it serviced. Everyone I’ve met at Oceanside Motorsports has a passion for cars. And while the same can be said for many auto shops, the difference is really the owner, Neil Daly, and his seemingly endless passion for all things BMW and his desire to create the best BMW shop anywhere.OMS services my daily driver 2002 525i. While it’s mostly stock, the small things that OMS adds make it better, both with respect to reliability and performance. It was my first BMW, and before all is said and done, it may be my last. And OMS keeps it near perfect.OMS services my 2008 M3 Coupe, and has even helped me prepare it for a few days of “spirited driving” at the track. Again, we keep it stock, but in a few areas, such as the brakes, Neil’s suggestions for simple upgrades that are done along with regular maintenance make what is already an amazing car one that my wife and I have enjoyed driving on weekends under controlled track conditions in ways we never imagined we could. The support at OMS has been instrumental in this entire process.OMS is now doing custom work on our “new” 1997 M3, which we plan to mainly to use as a weekend track car. Asked them to diagnose some fault codes I was getting. Unfortunately there were too many variables at play to completely diagnose the issue (bad injectors, oil leaks etc..) so they gave me a level 2 inspection free of charge which highlighted issues that need attention.

I had my VW serviced by a shop in Costa Mesa that I trusted for over 12 years when I lived in Orange County, but when we moved to North County, we *think* we got screwed over by a local repair shop on the first oil change (no leaks before oil change, then a lot of oil leaks after the oil change). The Costa Mesa shop gave me a quote that I trusted and I wanted to have them fix it, but it was far and I had no time. So I did a lot of research online as much as possible and “felt” comfortable with Oceanside Motorsports after reading the reviews and seeing the shop pics (nice and clean), even though they specialize in BMW’s! I saw a review that they took care of someone’s VW, so they were my first pick. They said they would take a look at it and got back to me the next day with what they found. I was very hesitant and nervous at first, especially with my bad experience and reading so many bad reviews of other shops. So when they got back to me with the list of things they found, I was soooo relieved that it came in about the same price as the quote I got from my old shop A&G. They were professional and took care of the multiple oil leaks at a great price. They pay attention to small details and customer service (good communication). Peace of mind is really important to me, so I highly recommend them and will use them for future repairs (even though they don’t even “officially” work on VW’s).

My fuel pump went out the other day, I called the shop and they were basically able to diagnose it thru the phone. I had my e46 wagon towed to the shop that night and it was fixed and cleaned by lunch time the following day. Awesome service and work.

The new turbo in my Jetta started leaking oil from the factory. So while it was being fixed they let me store my car there. Once the turbo came back they re-installed it, flushed out the oil lines, put in new oil, and trouble-shooted the engine (something wrong with one of the sensors). They got it running great. However this rang up quite a labor bill and they were patient enough with me to keep the car in the shop for free while I could save up for the bill. Awesome work, awesome guys, awesome shop!
