I highly recommend OC Weight Loss Center. Dr. Kakar explained the available programs and I chose the Lipotropic Injections to assist with a weight loss plateau. The injections have been helpful in increasing my energy, mood and loosing the stubborn pounds.Desiree and Maira, Medical Assistants are professional and friendly .

I have had a wonderful experience here. The Dr and her staff are helpful and professional. The best news is that Ive used the semiglutide as directed by the doctor - and lost 30 pounds! Im back to my old self and it was pretty easy. The doctor explains things well and is available to meet and discuss issues at follow ups. Cannot recommend this place more!!!

I signed up for their 6-month program in November, after hitting rock bottom with my weight at an all-time high. My last appointment is today, and I have lost about 60 lbs in total since starting! My program consisted of appetite suppressants, B12 injections (administered at home), and weekly/bi-weekly nutrition counseling visits to the office. I believe it was the personal accountability during these visits that really motivated me the most to stick to my diet plan. Their nutritionist, Trisha, is the best and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Everyone there is super friendly and genuinely wants to see you succeed in a healthy way. They really focus on giving you the knowledge and experience you need to succeed on your own after the program ends. I’m so glad that I took the plunge and signed up for their weight loss program! I am so grateful I found this place. I had a hard time losing weight. Absolutely love OC weight loss. Its been 62 days since I have been on the plan and have lost 19 pounds. Its the biggest weight loss Ive ever seen. The shots definitely help you to boost your metabolism and the hunger. Suppressant does help you not to keep stuffing your mouth. Amazing service and really works! I’ve always struggled with my weight. Always tried different diets but none of them worked long term but with the help from OC weight loss center, I was able to go down 30lbs in 4 months without sweating so much! I have had such a wonderful experience with OC Weight Loss Center. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! I started the 6 month program at the end of October 2020 and am about 4 months into the program! Everyone at the center is so incredibly sweet and supportive! So far after 4 months of nutrition counseling and following their program precisely I have lost 65 POUNDS and counting! It surprises me each week I go in how well it is working! I do have a lot more to lose but Im so thrilled with everything I have experienced at OC Weight Loss Center! From the medication, injections, to the nutrition counseling everything has exceeded my expectations. Thank you to all of you that have made such an amazing difference in my life. Dr. Kakar may be the best physician Ive ever seen. As I entered the office, it was clean, modern and inviting. The team behind the scenes are amazing and are some of the sweetest people Ive met. Ive been in twice so far, but my experience here has been top notch and I wouldnt trust my body or health goals with anyone other than Dr. Kakar. I was nervous at first but she calmed me and helped me through all of my questions and my plan. Shes incredibly loyal and was even in on her day off to make sure her clients have what they need. I had the hardest time losing 12 lbs. I’m not overweight but a little fluffy. Add age, then really hard to get off the weight. With a combination of fat burning injections, light daily exercise and eating ok (I can still enjoy treats here and there), I was finally able to get the lbs off!!! Not only did I surpass my goal weight but for a couple more lbs. Now I just maintain. Plus I have energy again with these shots!

I lost just over 30 lbs over a 6 month period! I had been trying to handle weight loss on my own with little success.I had the motivation to lose weight, just needed professional help to be successful in my weight loss goal. Dr. Kakar presented a plan that would help in reaching my fitness goals. Once I started the plan, if I had any questions/concerns I was able to bring them to her attention to get a clear answers.I decided to go with the nutritional program, and this was extremely helpful. Tricia went through my eating habits and together we documented a plan of what types of foods I should eat and how much. Doing this weekly was very helpful and motivating. If I had a 1 - 2 lb weight loss for a week, she would analyze my food intake and provided a different approach. Resulting in a higher weight loss number the following week. Be prepared to answer the am I drinking enough water and am I exercising enough questions every week.The front office ladies are great. With busy schedules, and as busy as this office, I never felt the frustration that must happen. If I came in without an appointment, they worked me into the scheduled.I feel great, and have much more energy than I did 6 months ago.

I started my program in late March to get help with sticking to a program. I’m almost done with it and I’m almost 30 lbs down. Everyone here at OC Weight Loss is so nice. When you sign up, they take the time to explain everything about the program options, pricing, and scheduling. They’ve also been super helpful and flexible whenever I need to reschedule for work related issues.My experience is with the 6 month program: when I started, I was coming here every week for nutrition appointments. I’d be here every Monday for a B12 shot and every Thursday for nutrition, vitals, and B12 injection. About halfway through, nutrition and vitals appointments were every other Thursday, but I still went every Monday and Thursday for the B12 shots. I don’t trust myself when it comes to injections so I choose to go to the center (I’m too squeamish), but you do have the option to do it yourself. The program is hard at the beginning; if you’re like me, it involves an overhaul of your entire diet. But it gets better!I started here already having a fitness regimen. For about 5 years I was working out 5-6 days/week and needed help staying on track with my diet. It’s been wonderful having the accountability of showing up weekly and checking in to keep track of my progress. I’m so used to losing weight and then gaining it back because I let myself get to comfortable.Seriously cannot recommend OC Weight Loss Centers enough!

I would highly recommend OC Weight Loss Center, I regret that I didnt come to them earlier :) for last 10 years Ive been struggling to lose weight after I gave birth to my kids. And finally I am back to my pre-pregnancys weight and feel myself perfect! I lost ~27 lb within 3 months. I also changed my mindset about eating habits and overall approach to nutrition.I find the whole staff of the center is very friendly and knowledgeable. I always got enough attention, my questions were answered in full, I was explained about all medication, etc. Especially Trisha the nutritionist was great at motivating me during my weekly visits and explaining different things.I truly believe that they do a great job by helping people to lose weight! The best choice I have made for myself the passed year was to go to OC weight loss center to help me with my weight. The staff are amazing. I called to make an appointment and was helped right away. Got a next day appointment and saw the doctor Who oversee the program right away. She was knowledgeable, caring, understanding and supportive. She answered all my questions and explain what their Program was about. Once I committedto the program the doctor-draw my blood and I got started right away. I met with the nutrition consultant once a week for a few weeks and then biweekly there after. I received education on a variety of topics from meal prep to selfcare and how to appreciate myself. I have lost over 42Lbs in the 6 months I have been doing the program. If you are commuted and follow the guidelines you will lose weight. So glad I decided to take the step and get my weight loss going. I was trying to drop 15 lbs and realized it was not as easy as it used to be! By coming to OC Weight Loss Center, I have been able to comfortably and safely drop about 7 lbs in the first couple of months. What is there not to like about this place. I had really let my weight get away the last couple of years. Tried the dieting thing, different types you see on tv. None worked for me. I came across the OC Weight Loss Center here on yelp. A lot of fantastic reviews. I started with the free consultation. The Dr was super nice, explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. I decided to go all out and do the 6 month program. Like I said, I had let myself go over the last few years. As with trying anything new, it took a little getting used to to start. Changing up my diet wasnt easy. But even after the first couple of weeks, I noticed my weight coming off. And it was pretty consistent for the first 3 months. Mind you, I didnt step foot into a gym either. This was everything they were telling me to do with my diet. Fast forward to today, (just about 6 months from when I started) I hit one of my goals in losing 50 pounds before my program ended!! I feel so much better, have so much more energy, and my clothes dont fit anymore!! In the good way. I want to thank everyone there from the Doctor to the Nutritionist to the nurses. I couldnt have done it without all of them. The encouragement is incredible. You will see a difference using the OC Weight Loss Center!!

A few weeks ago I completed a 13 week program and lost 43 lb (you did not misread that and it is not a typo). Since then, Ive lost 5 more lb on my own in the last 3 weeks. I found the program to be safe, effective and easy to follow. I did exactly what I was told, I did not cheat and the weight just came off. This was after an entire year of struggling to lose 5lb at the most on my own with various different other diets and plans. I was so frustrated after the year struggle that I finally decided I needed help and I am so glad that I found OC Weight Loss Centers. I was a bit skeptical because I read all the good reviews and thought sounds too good to be true but at that point, I had nothing to lose and much to gain so I decided to give the program a shot. I think that everyone at OC Weight Loss is really nice and supportive as well. I enjoyed my meetings with the Doctor, Nutritionist and the nurses and found them to be very encouraging which helped me. On the fence about it? I was too and now I am almost 50 lb lighter because I decided to make that investment in myself. OC Weight loss Center has been a fantastic experience. I came on a whim and a Groupon promotion and they warmly welcomed me, even without my monetary commitment. Even the Admin Assistant has made an effort to get to know me and everyone is so friendly. Even though I am not paying for a full weight loss program, the doctor sat down and talked through options with me. She went through my diet and daily life schedule. They are extremely flexible with my schedule and I will probably sign up for a real program after this trial period.

I went to OC Weight Loss Clinic for 6 months and lost 26 pounds. A surgery during this time slowed my weight loss progress. Otherwise, I am sure that I could have lost much more. I will continue to use the information that I learned during my time working with OC Weight Loss Clinic. Was it easy? Yes and No. My program included a Rx and shots to help with appetite and information to make needed changes in my nutrition. But having information is never enough. One must identify the reason for making a change in what they eat and do. With a clearly identified WHY Dr. Kakar can provide you with a helpful and guided program, Trisha, my nutritionist gave me valuable information and helped to keep me accountable throughout my time there helping me attain my goal of permanent weight loss. Ive been getting the Lipotropic B12 shots twice a week for about 2 1/2 months and Ive lost almost 25 lbs. My wife did the CoolSculpting as well as the pills and injection here. She did not see any difference. The office did not even bother to take a after photo. She paid more than $5K with zero results. It shows the CoolSculpting as a whole is just a marketing game. We would not recommend this procedure to anyone unless you have extra money to burn. The photos on the wall and on the monitor in the office are there to get you to believe that this procedure performs miracle which it does not.

It is a rarity where I write a review, however, the results I received is well deserving of a written statement.I knew I had to lose 45-50 lbs., but did not have the motivation to do it. A friend at work was going to give this center a try, so I got curious and looked it up. Saw great reviews which got me interested in scheduling an appointment.During the consultation I told Doctor Kakar I wasnt motivated and hoped signing up would help. This surprised her very much as she said most people come in motivated. I signed up because I knew if I didnt, I would be on my own to lose the weight and too much time had passed, and who knows if I would ever lose it. I decided to include the nutritional program as an extra boost, even though I thought it was obvious how to eat in such a way to lose weight.Well, I must say, this is exactly what I needed. I wasnt doing it alone, starving along the way, but now had support. I highly recommend the nutritional program, because you will receive a plan for the beginning stages of your weight loss that gives you a jump start, and what does losing weight quickly do? It motivates you! Also, having someone coach you and answer all of your questions along the way, and of course weighing you, pushes you to do your best. Also,Trisha, the cheerleader/nutritionist is very pleasant and makes you feel great when you have success and doesnt make you feel bad if you miss the mark of following directions.End result? It was my mission to loose weight starting the year in 2017, I did my research and saw so many good reviews here. The B-12 injections was what I was looking for. I waited till the last day of my program to write this review!3 months!!!! I tried different diets but not really joined any program as I was like: I can do it myself!! Which leads to losing a few pounds and nothing else after that.Till I searched around and finally joined 12 weeks program with Lipo injections and weekly nutrition consultation and appetite control pills. My goal was loosing 20 pounds and I reached that in 7 weeks! I even lost 8 more pounds after that!! Total of 28 pounds!!! I lost the 15 pounds in less than 10 weeks, then I hit a plateau. From start to finish, my experience with the OC Weight Loss Center was top notch! I had heard about cool sculpting, but wanted to learn more about the procedure. I had a consultation with Dr. Kakar where she answered all of my questions and then some. It required two visits to the weight loss center that were short in duration. What a great experience! I realize that may sound counter-intuitive but I found my experience to be fantastic. The staff is always friendly, positive and encouraging. Dr. Rani Kakar met and consulted with me initially - and, I saw her often when visiting the office. She always remembered my name and commented on my progress. But, as I have often heard, things change as you grow older. While it took until my 50s to see a change, change did occur even though I did not really want to admit it. My physician kept nicely encouraging me to consider some type of weight loss or weight control program, and while I listened, I did not act. And, the knock on the head occurred when he told me that he was going to prescribe pre-diabetes medication for me. I was not diabetic YET but borderline. And, I did not want to take medication. Ive been going here since end of October. I was at a lifetime high on weight, and was reluctant to go on a diet. Being older, I didnt think it would work. When I finally decided to do it, I looked into 3 programs, and chose this one. I thought it sounded the most reasonable, the doctor personally discussed it with me. I have found that while there are some sacrifices, it has been easier than I thought it would be. The first few weeks under their detox I lost a lot of weight. I am very grateful for OC Weight Loss Center! When I started, my weight was 187 and did not think anything was possible. I signed up for the 3 month program where you get medications, injections and weekly nutritional counseling. Today I am 142 and very close to my goal. When I was 40 years old I suffered a serious neck and back injury in a car accident. During my recovery I gained weight. I never had a problem with my weight prior. I was someone who worked out and lifted weights six days a week. Over the next ten years I constantly dieted and did weight loss drugs. Even though I was back to my fitness routine I wasnt getting the results that I wanted. I remember having a conversation with the Dr. She said that she could give me the weight loss drug that I wanted again but eventually it would not work for me anymore. She suggested trying another program where I had to meet with a nutritionist weekly and be accountable. I thought about what she said and decided to try it after all.what did I have to lose? Over the next 16 weeks we discovered that I had too much sodium in my diet. I was drinking 7 bottles of a flavored water a day not realizing that it had 280 mg of sodium per serving. We also discovered that a popular hot sauce that I so dearly loved to put on chicken and fish had 190 mg of sodium per serving. No matter how hard I worked out in the gym and no matter how healthy I thought that I was eating the sodium was sabotaging my efforts. Over the next sixteen weeks we tweaked my program to help me get the best results. All in all I lost 11 inches total with 5 inches off of my waist, 2 inches off of my chest, 2 inches off of my hips, and 2 inches off of my thighs. I also lost over 20 lbs when it was all said and done. Most importantly I learned what seasonings will help me not gain weight. Before coming here, I really thought I was already living a healthy lifestyle. I did crossfit and even followed the Paleo diet. I had to stop Crossfit due knee injury. This program worked for me when my past crash diets were just no longer working. I thought: What is life without health and energy?And I simply refused to go buy a bigger size jeans ...again.So I researched what was available in Orange County and this program sounded best by far. But I was happy losing steadily every week.I did lose 18 pounds with little to no muscle loss! I was never tempted to go off the food plan because I never felt the painful hunger that had always come with previous diets.Trisha, the nutrition counselor was so inspiring and gave me all the tools I needed in their Food Plan. Id never seen anything like it and its all fresh, healthy and very simple. No long shopping lists or long food preparation time. Trisha and I were able to tailor it to work for me since I dont eat dairy or meat. But bread and sugar were my weaknesses.Trisha kept a record of my weekly measurements and muscle mass. It was truly thrilling to see the inches and pounds drop off every week and to drop 2 sizes in jeans! It never was a diet, but rather a learned, healthy way of eating that easy for me to stay on for life.Statistics show that only a small percentage of weight lost is kept off for one year. My wife is having surgery soon, her Dr. said it would be good if she could lose a fair amount of weight prior to the surgery in a month. My wife began a search and came upon this company and their posted 2 month special. This sounded perfect as she only has a month until the surgery.Upon arriving, you are greeted by a very nice receptionist that ensures you have the proper paperwork filled out. She told us a bit about the facility (its also a sleep center and a chiropractor). We were then escort to the back, where my wife was weighed, BP, etc. Than to an office.In the office, the woman that escorted us back asked a couple of questions and said the Dr. would be right in. The Dr. came in, asked similar questions and than began the pitch. She says ... our clinic is different because we provide a nutritionist 24/7, you come back weekly for follow ups...other clinics just hand you the meds and say Good Luck... She pulls out some grey cards outlining the programs, carefully hiding the prices. In truth, I knew this would be more than the special at this point, but all sounded pretty good, so far. When the price was revealed, it was more than 4 times the special (Can you say Bait and Switch?). This is where I stepped in and said.. wow.. thats a LOT more than we budgeted for, we came in for the special you have posted all over. The Dr. sat back and stated......well for that we hand you the meds and wish you good luck.... This in itself was enough to push me out the door, but my wife and I continued to discuss it while the Dr. literally began talking to my wife as if I werent there and she was going to do it anyway. This went on for a minute before I said, We are going to leave now, we will get back to you if we decide to do this (I doubt I was cordial)Bottom line, staff is friendly, I assume they are qualified (this is why 2 stars instead of 1). Based on other reviews they appear to have a successful product. I, however, wouldnt recommend them to anyone based on the deceptive behavior explained here.

Dr. Kakar was helpful, understanding and quick to find a solution that was both livable and made sense. Smaller portions more often with protein and vegetables are a healthy way to eat and the snacks 🍎 in between keep me going. Combined with fat burners and Vitamin B shots the extra fat is going away. I had the most amazing experience! I came in at my wits end with my weight struggles. With the pandemic putting me out of work for most of the year I was very depressed. I’ve struggled my whole life with my weight and I was just done with trying all the diets and working out really hard.
