Oakley is a famous sunglasses brand known to everyone who loves sports.I visited the headquarters because it is not far from Irvine, where I live.The exterior and interior of the building looked like an alien fortress seen in some movie.You can purchase sunglasses, goggles, clothing, bags, and accessories, but the products sold are not as diverse as online stores.I was able to experience the history of Oakley through the exhibits and photos displayed through the passage.If you are a fan of Oakley, I recommend a visit.

I met with Bailey today. He is by far one of the best service sales staff members I have ever worked with. He is courteous, polite and extremely knowledgeable regarding ALL of the sun glass products. I’ve been an Oakley prescription sunglasses user for years. Product quality have been consistent and good, but my recent visit to store inside of its headquarter was exceptional. It was pleasant to see extensive range of sunglass selection, but more importantly, the professionalism and genuine care I received from its optician, Desi, was top-notch. Desi’s product expertise and attentiveness were the best amongst of all opticians I’ve ever met. Her ability explaining process and finding the best suitable frame and lenses for me was particularly impressive. I’m thoroughly satisfied with the pair of sunglasses that she recommended. I will recommend Oakley products and Desi’s service to friends and family.

Store was closed so we checked out the landscape situated on 40 acres. They did open up a pop up store in the parking lot. Checked was not a parking lot sale. Informed regular pricing. They are doing it because the main store is closed. There is a RC dirt track outside the building. An around the perimeter on the other side is a BMX track. A tank perched on the side of the hill sits overlooking the compound. A torpedo is mounted in the center turnabout. A helipad where Michael Jordan is known to touch down sits off the way. Some large industrial pieces laid out on the ground. They have electric car charging stations. Rock formations and vegetation throughout the landscape. This is their main store location. Along with their headquarters and manufacturing plant. The buildings exterior has some architectural design work that makes it extraordinary.

An amazing place very closely guarded. As I understand it you must by a guest. We have special permission through NASCAR to visit the store while we are California for the race at Fontana. They are very kind in inviting us to the store. I had a very informative conversation with a member of staff about the process of making glasses.

Beyond the aesthetics of shopping at the world headquarters for Oakley, the selection availability is phenomenal. More important, though… Is that the people that work at corporate headquarters are still in trenched to the original corporate ethos service. I was turning in an old pair of Ash Grey/Grey Polarized Riddles. I got 30% off the purchase of a new pair for turning in the old pair of sunglasses. I had done research prior to visiting, and purchased BatWolfs since they are most similar to the Riddles. The 30% off meant I paid $138 for the pair. I had a fantastic customer service experience; but I only put 4/5 stars because their prices are still extremely high!!

I dont have insurance so I needed prescription I glasses. I had done some shopping around and this place was the best price and better quality. To be honest I did not know what to expect, The store itself is almost like an attraction or a museum. It a trip. After a while I had a problem with my lenses Oakley replaced them with their warranty. Super great service. This is my 1st pair of Oakley prescription glasses . There will be many more pairs coming from now on this is my place to get prescription eyewear. Also they have a very good selection of prescription sunglasses and regular really cool sunglasses. They have a little hiking trail and many cool attractions like a tank a real tank.So far to this point every person I have interacted with super friendly super helpful .

If you love Oakley you definitely need to come to Foothill Ranch for a visit. They are always super helpful. The store itself is well put together and clean. There is a lot of parking. They used to have an old electric chair not sure if it wad real or not but it was pretty cool.

I dont know how to rate this place. I spoke to them A-day before I arrived about the operation hours the next day I took 2 hour trip and we get here and the place is closed, even though I see more than a 100 cars parked. Try calling again and again and theres no answer. However the place looks cool from outside I wish we could have stepped in I believe the communication was not all there.

Excited to come visit the Oakley store at headquarters but they weren’t even open! Oakley’s website lists open 24hrs for Sat/Sun and they were closed at 11am on a Sunday morning. The building looks phenomenal from the outside, it’s extremely unique. Sad I wasn’t able to look around more.

I prefer going to the factory instead of normal store for many reasons and Its a long drive for my wife. I cant just take off work to come during the week. The only time we have to shop and do whatever is on Saturday and Sunday (as most other people as well). You guys are throwing away lots of money by not being open on weekends for your clients. I went to the pop up sales booth in the Oakley parking lot (their store in the factory lobby is under renovation). The staff answered my questions on frames, lens tints for sports & prescriptions. They had the Flak 2 frames, and the tints available that I wanted to test. They helped me through the options I was trading. Very positive experience! First pair of Flak sunglasses lasted many years & were definitely the best I have owned when it comes to active sports. The prescription lenses are in sharp focus across the full field of view & the stay put no matter what. Can’t wait for my new Flak 2 glasses.

I was at the Oakley Main store in Foothill Ranch yesterday to find out about fixing or replacing my broken prescription sunglasses. The model I have were discontinued which was disappointing but I kind of get it since they broke every year! The 5 stars goes to the employees in the store. They greeted me very quickly and were super helpful. They could very easily said that Im out of luck but they did NOT! They went the extra mile to search in the back for a solution for me so I did not have to run out and pay hundreds of dollars for a new prescription. That is why I ALWAYS buy Oakley glasses and sunglasses.

Customer service was spectacular. I am a visually-impaired athlete and wearing my lenses is no longer solely a style choice for me. The staff here were able to direct me to various lens option and benefits to my specific needs far beyond the training most remote Oakley location employees seem to have knowledge of. The floor sales people were very helpful. Did go to the warranty area and the front desk person kinda acted like it was my fault he had to work that day. Was not very friendly, didnt smile and not very talkative, and there was no friendly greeting. Was surprised that he change the socks all the way around for free!The door to the womans restroom was very heavy Im not sure that if a disabled person would be able to open it including if in a wheelchair. There was not automatic opening button either. I did notice that one of the sales associate was disabled.Was a very cool place though.

I have been an Oakley customer for a long time..They really messed up my order and are not going to make it right. I ordered a pair of special, 4th of July, sunglasses online and had them shipped to a sunglass hut store so I could get them before the 4th holiday(**they would have arrived at my house after the 4th if I chose that option). I received an email that they were delayed and would be notified when they shipped. The next day I got the email saying they were shipped and would arrive by July 1st. I went to the store to pick them up and they said they just received their shipment but my stuff wasnt there. So I called Oakley and the first lady I spoke with said they got delivered that day. So I went back again to check, nothing! So i called back in to Oakley and the next lady said no, they werent delivered, they were returned to sender because the store wasnt there, they moved..I said ya, but they received everything else from Oakley! Why not my sunglasses?? She didnt have an answer other than they were returned to sender and that I would received a refund! What kind of service is this for a pair of sunglasses that cost me almost $200 just to get a refund? Oakley must not need new business..you would think they would have said something along the lines of Sir, we apologizes for the mishap, we will get another pair shipped out to you asap! We will also give you a discount on this order(or your next order!, where is marketing for pete sake!?) NOPE, instead youll get a refund, we dont really care if we keep your business!? What a cool place! Located on top of the hill, this is the headquarter of Oakley which also has a showroom for all Oakley products that open for public. It looks so futuristic from outside to inside the building. I feel like Im in a spaceship or kind of. Lol.I came here looking for a pair of Half Flak with color lenses that I couldnt find in Oakley Vault stores. Brandon was helping me. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Brandon leaded me from room to room (they have many rooms with different types of products, mostly newest in market), explained to me different types and used of lenses... You can customize, repair, replace your Oakley prescription or sunglasses here.I was never feeling pressure to buy anything while I was here. Although I couldnt find the right one, however, Brandon advised me to come back in few months when theyre available.I would definitely be back and highly recommend.

I had an awesome experience at the oakley store. I really just went in to check it out. When I walked in, I didnt even know what I was getting myself into. But that all changed once I met the service manager, Jackson. I am not certain on the title, but that guy was super rad! I think I asked him roughly 50 questions and he answered them all! I am someone who NEVER buys things when I first look at them. I am the kind of person that goes home, studies up on every detail and makes sure an expensive purchase is a solid purchase. Let me tell you, Jackson sold me on these really neat golf style shades right at the beginning. Awesome shop to stop by and see even if you arent interested in a purchase. The entire campus showcases the industrial feel of Oakley products well. Custom sunglasses can be constructed as you wait which is a plus. The staff is also very friendly about all products which is helpful when you are purchasing a premium product at a premium price.There is an upper and lower parking lot so keep that in mind when looking for a spot. The walk from the lower lot is actually very nice and you can check out the Oakley tank on your walk up.

Its been a dream for several years to visit Oakley Headquarters. When it finally happened, I felt like a kid at Disneyland. This trip was amazing. Although parking is scarce (i have no clue where everyone was, because we were the only ones in the store portion) we got lucky and found a very close spot.The inside of headquarters is very industrial and at the time was filled with Olympics decor from all around the world. The staff was super helpful and my kids loved how much there was to choose from. I will never forget this trip.

Oakley, Inc doesnt stand behind its products and dont honor warranty. I bouth $200 shades, and after a little over a month, nose pads fell off. I was told by customer service I need to buy these. Not only Oakley sells expansive glasses with faulty design, doesnt stand behind its product, but also has clear intention of making more profit from it. It also moderated my negative review of the glasses and its customer service, without a valid reason. I was a raving fan and had purchased several pairs of Oakleys. However, the Oakley Half Jacket glasses which are designed to remove and swap the lenses easily were defective and I learned the hard way that Oakley, the company and brand isnt willing to back a defective product.The replaceable lenses werent easily removable as per the enclosed instructions. Called support for help and was told it should be easy and to go to youtube for instruction or to a retail store for help. Youtube showed easy replacement so I tried again and the frame broke. Called support and was told there is no warranty for broken frame...the rep. that gave me this information did so without any information...just giving me a blanket statement clearly intended to ward off consumers looking to get something for free which I am not. Ridiculous. The customer service rep. was treating me like I just bought a $5 hambuger and was pretending there was a fly in is so I could get a free burger. These glasses cost over $130 and are designed for easy replacement/swapping of lenses and were in mint condition. I forced the issue and was told to submit a claim for review along with pictures (which I was happy to hear so I could prove I wasnt scamming them). Sent the claim form, photos, receipt in multiple emails and placed multiple follow-up calls but they denied receiving my emails...all the while saying they would email me a mailing slip and acknowledging they didnt follow through. I ultimately visited the Oakely store in Wrentham, MA. Nice folks there. I showed them the emails I sent to Cust. support and asked them to easily replace the remaining lense. They confirmed the difficulty in replacing the lense and noted that the frames and all 6 lenses were in mint condition with no sign of abuse. However, they directed me back to the inept cust. svc department which, according to the store, is terrific. The only thing about cust. service is terrific is the illusion of actual customer service. The people are friendly. They seem organized with clear knowledge of their own product and processes. However, the processes for resolution are as broken as my $100 glasses and they have no escalation process. A call to the CEOs office has gone unanswered so far also. I would like my 3+ hrs along with my $$, but am cutting my losses.

My third time at Oakley Interplanetary Headquarters. I try to make it every time I’m in the LA area. Been here in ‘12, ‘15 and ‘18.I have been an Oakley-head for about 20 years now, so every time I drive up on 1 Icon Rd, I get goosebumps. You drive past the tank, the helipad and then you are on the hilltop and see the facade of this iconic building.The Oakley Store is located in the lobby, it has all the new releases and they can build a custom pair for you.The warranty department can help you get replacement parts for your older pairs, usually without charging you anything.There is also a new museum part, which is basically a hallway between the two wings of the O-Store.Although Oakley is not what it used to be and never will, I always enjoy my visit. ✌🏼

My relationship with Oakley has been like that of a couple on Maury Povich.Yes I’ve been loyal to a fault with them and their products for decades, but there have been runs where they did me dirty like sleeping with my best friend. Not actually, but figuratively.I love the HQ with the dirt track, the sprawling estate, the huge building front which I may or may not have used to rock climb via access of a friend. I’ve rocked backpacks of theirs tougher than rucksacks or haulbags with tape and worn in hats to dust. I’ve also waited 3+ months for a pair of prepaid prescription glasses only to find out they were out of stock, discontinued and then they love to party too hard. I’m particularly annoyed seeing as a global brand like that still is run like a pizza shop with teenagers. They appear to have all the swagger of a multi million dollar company, but are so compartmentalized it’s like trying to socialize with engineers.I’ve had half jackets, flack jackets, M Wire’s, O Wire’s. I love their durability, everything is quality tested and there is a reason they’ve won gov contracts, but they need to take a serious look at where their money is spent. Sending thousands of frames to sponsored athletes only to completely deplete their stock for the people looking to buy them and keep that margin up so they can continue to sponsor athletes. I’m pretty sure that’ like having Ford commercials only to have all the dealerships have no inventory.Take a tour of the building it’s great, their website has jobs posted all over, but their capped, ready to be bought, made no growth recently and losing customer base all the time. It’s like part museum, part college dorm room. Décor is classic steam punk wrapped in corporate façade. Bathrooms were nice, but staff is the issue. People don’t treat people the way corporations treat people so when you have a rude company it comes from rude staff. What’s that old saying we don’t make people nice, we just hire nice people, well Fauxkley did the opposite. I’ll still buy their stuff, but if I can get the prescription filled outside of Oakley. There are plenty of companies who still care about their customers and are still making quality products besides them.
