We have been going to Oak Tree Dentistry for about 3 years now after moving from the Bay Area. We used to see a dentist who recently retired, yet no one let us know, so when I showed up to my appointment the other day I was told she wasnt there anymore and I would have a new dentist.The practice also decided automatically whether you have an exam every 6 months, or just the cleaning and eliminated exams for my kids down to once a year despite insurance covering the exams twice a year. My son ended up with a cavity after they were watching a certain spot that ended up turning into a cavity and they didnt examine his teeth, so needless to say I was pretty pissed and insisted on an exam every 6 months along with the cleaning going forward. Despite that conversation over the last year I was scheduled for only a cleaning this time and had to once again request an exam along with the cleaning. I also have a couple spots that are being watched. So what happens if theres no exam and there are spots being watched and it goes without anyone looking at it for another 6 months? Not good. Thats the whole reason we go to the dentist.The hygienists are always very friendly and competent. Other than that I really dont have much to say about the practice.I was super disappointed that no one told me that the dentist I always see is no longer there after sending multiple reminders about the appointment and how youll be charged a cancelation fee if you dont show up, you would imagine they would let you know big news like that. Currently they have no women dentists on staff after my dentist retired. Not sure if we will continue to use this practice honestly. The dentist I saw for my 5-minute exam certainly didnt rustle up any loyalty or exceptional care that would cause me to want to go back.

Cleaning was good and the hygienist was nice but when I asked if I was going to see the dentist I was told no because I saw them 6 months ago and that I only get to see the dentist once a year. First time in my years of going to the dentist that I have heard this before. When you have a “dentist” appointment you the dentist should come see the patient . I would not go back here and will be going to someplace else.

Ive been going here for the past two or so years and I have had nothing but phenomenal service. My scheduled appointments are always on time and Ive never found myself waiting for more than five minutes, if ever. Every employee Ive met have been very pleasant and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve always had a great experience here! I recently had my first child and of course confused my dates for my appointment. After calling me with a reminder, they still saw me! They moved quick and did a thorough job. Everyone working there is very pleasant. I recommend this place to everyone!

Staff are kind, gentle and compassionate. My husband has serious dental issues and usually experiences extreme anxiety when going to the dentist. However, at Oak Tree the environment is very calming and comfortable. And the music helps to relax while being treated, as well. We would recommend to others ❤️

This is the first dental office I have ever been to that I don’t get anxiety before a visit! Office is clean and there are tv’s w/ Netflix on in the rooms. The staff is the best. They take there time to make sure you feel as little anxiety and pain as possible. Also, Kim, who does the billing is easy to talk to and goes the extra mile to help if there are problems with your insurance. I will never go to another dentist ever. I have referred them to 3 of my family members and my best friend, and they are all very happy with Oak Tree Dental!

After visiting 4 different dentist, number 5 was my lucky number at Oak Tree Dentistry. The entire experience from walking in, the staff, the dentist - especially Dr Gill - are PROFESSIONAL and KIND. My visits were spread out well over a year for all teeth removal, then the process of Implant Supported dentures. It’s been over a year and half with the dentures that fit PERFECTLY and have changed my life. I no longer fear or have anxiety over going to the dentist. Oak Tree Dentistry has TRULY changed the way I feel about dentist, and the way I feel about myself. This office gave me back self esteem with not only new dentures but with their care and kindness every step of the way. :-)

It was my first exam and she didnt rush the actual exam or the treatment plan discussion. Her assistant Cat/Kat is great, as well, and she helped make my first xrays and cleaning here in Elk Grove feel thorough and sparkly clean! and fun. Such a clean office, too.

Im a new patient with Oak Tree Dentistry and have to say if youre in the Elk Grove/ Laguna or surrounding areas, this office is a SOLID BET. Dr. Gill and his team are amazing! Friendly, kind-hearted (they actually care about each individual), dependable and professional to say the least. He is current with the latest technology used in the dentistry field. Anyone who needs molds and hates that disgusting taste, he has 3D real time scanner!I signed up to do Invisalign with Dr.Gill but mentioned to him that Id be away for field work and might not be available during his regular business hours for a few months. He was very accommodating and I cant thank him enough. He works one Saturday a month, by appointment only. Ive rarely encountered someone this helpful, typically offices are open 8am-5pm and thats it.Ive had experiences in the past that made me really want to find a doctor who wasnt looking at me as a dollar sign. Some dentist will try to push extra work on you when you dont really need it. I couldnt have more confidence in Dr. Gill when he gives advice or recommendations when working on my teeth. Hes genuinely trying to help you improve/maintain or better your smile.This man knows his stuff. Great team and clean office. I havent been this excited to visit my dentist ever!!!!

I was doing a ton of research of local dental offices I could establish at in the area. Oak Tree stood out amongst the rest, and I was about ready to make my first appt in a few weeks. Lo and behold, I had a bad infection happen to me and the staff at Oak Tree was able to schedule me on the SAME DAY to ensure I was cared for. Everything I read was spot on — very friendly/courteous front desk, dental hygienist (I’m so sorry I forget her name!!) was SUPER welcoming and attentive to my needs, and Dr. Pham was so thorough in educating me about the dental procedure I was about to experience. I was also in awe of the technology for x-rays… thought that was really cool and innovative!I typically do NOT like going to the dentist, but legit felt like I was in good hands with Dr. Pham and the team. She handled the procedure like the professional she is, and I feel pain free as a result. Cannot thank you enough, Dr. Pham and team for taking care of me the same day when I needed it most. I was nervous selecting a dentist on the Internet - I read so many reviews of so many dentists. My research led me to Oak Tree, and when I called the office with some questions I was directed to Kim, who enthusiastically answered everything and was genuinely welcoming. Now I had my first visit to the office - Dr. Gill is quite professional, very thorough in his examination and easy to talk to. Bonus point for me is that he graduated from NYU and so did I! We moved to Elk Grove 12 years ago and I continued to commute to Fairfield to see my dentist. I decided it was time to change and I’m very happy that I did! I saw Dr. Pham for an exam. I was impressed by the state of the art X-ray and digital camera system. She was able to actually show me the issues that needed to be addressed. I had a cleaning today with Abby. She was friendly and gentle! I am very happy to now have a dentist and hygienist 10 minutes from my house!

Dr Gill is an amazing dentist. I went there for 2nd opinion as other dentist has diagnosed crown and bunch of other treatment on me. I didnt tell him that I am here for 2nd opinion, So I had exam and he diagnosed only 2 fillings. He even demonstrated me proper brushing techniques. The procedure was totally painless. He was very gentle during the treatment. His office is state of art with all new equipment. Staff is great, very friendly. I would recommend him to all. He is the best dentist of Elk Grove.

My son slipped on the playground and hit his tooth pretty hard. Since were already patients at Oak Tree Dentistry, I called to request an appointment. To my surprise, they were able to squeeze us in for an emergency appointment to check his teeth within a couple of hours. The staff is always friendly and made us feel very comfortable. It was time to face the music: kids who haven’t been to the dentist since before the pandemic, a retired veteran who hasn’t seen the dentist since he retired, and me - deathly afraid of any and all dentists. My chihuahua and I stopped in last week (due to my mistake in scheduling at the vet next door) and we were both welcomed as I asked questions and scheduled appointments for the whole family (but not the chihuahua). We were just seen this week and have cleanings next week. The staff is friendly, funny, patient, and flexible. They really go all out to be accommodating and transparent. This is a great transition from the pediatric dentist my kids used to go to. I highly recommend this office for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and and kindness.

They were awesome! Last minute emergency appointment. I was seen within 2 hours of calling. They were very professional, very clean, both office and exam rooms. The Dr was clear and honest & straight to the point with what was causing my pain. They promptly found an opening for the procedure that I had to have. I desperately needed to find a dentist that would not beat around the bush and just tell me exactly everything I was going to need to get done. Update: a credit was provided for the inconveience. Very nice thing to do. The exam was very thorough. What I was not told at the time the appointment was made, is that they do not do a cleaning. They only do the x-rays and the exam with the dentist. Another appointment needs to be made for the cleaning which could be inconveient for people. I guess this is for all new patients.

Had my second visit today. Both visits have been exceptional. Unlike my last dental office that tried to rip me off with false charges, this place was honest. I was originally charged a higher copay at the front desk but halfway through my visit they realized I met my deductible and notified me of a refund. The oral hygienist Maricela was also wonderful with the cleaning and gave me some tips and demos for better oral health. The front desk ladies are very friendly and will remember you after the first time.The office have modern and high end equipment. Their x-ray machine wasnt like the other offices where they stick those square plastic thing in your moth and sometimes hurt the top gum.The dentist is great! I have to say Oak Tree Dentistry is the best dental clinic in Elk Grove to be honest. ( I’ve been to other clinics and always have some kind of problems either staffs not friendly or shady charges or the they did a bad job). They explained everything and went through my procedures cost and everything straight forward and clearly. I had my cleaning done with a hygienist (I didn’t remember her name, she’s an Asian woman), she was so gentle and she took her time cleaning my teeth carefully like so careful. Then I had my fillings done and also just got my 4 teeth pulled out, all by Dr.Dogra hope I spelled his name correctly. Dr.Dogra and his nurses were the best, they made sure that I was not in any pain at all, very gentle with me and cheered me up when I did the extractions because I was too nervous. Dr.Dogra was very fast but careful, and did the filling and extractions neatly, professionally. After every appointments, they always send a check in message to make sure that I’m okay and I love that, no where else had ever done that!! I’ve been searching near and far for a good dentistry place ever since my two kids aged out of their pediatric dentistry office at Surfside kids. My wife by chance found Oak Tree and they have been nothing but fabulous in terms of customer service at the counter through to the dental hygienist and the dentist themselves. We had some very last minute appointments and Oak Tree accommodated our situation with professionalism and care. The cherry on top is their affordability. I’ve had work done where deep cleanings were required by the dentist office then was charged hundreds of dollars. Here, all treatment plans are discussed, showing you what’s covered and what’s out of pocket, and it was really affordable under our PPO which was not Delta.All in all, it’s been a wonderful experience 2/2 times coming to the office. Thankfully I went in the time I did, Dr. Pham noticed something abnormal from my X-rays and quickly provided a plan of care to address my needs. Most places don’t do this so that shows a lot that they really do care about their clients & their long term business relationships. As for the office’s cleanliness, there are no flaws. As I was waiting in the lobby for a couple minutes, I was able to observe the interior design. The furniture makes it very comfortable. All tools are arranged very organized & the seat where you sit for the dentist is clean and comfy. I also love how there’s complimentary fridge in the front. Selected Oak Tree Dentistry because of their extended hours and Saturday appointments. Made appointments for my daughter and I for a Monday evening after work. Receptionist was extremely professional and friendly. She booked appointments for approximately 5 weeks out. I received a call a week earlier informing me that they had a cancellation and therefore could get me in sooner. Because I had two back-to-back appointments with my daughter I declined but thought it was a nice offer. I received several text reminders about our upcoming appointments which was nice. On the day of the appointment we met the staff and Dr. Gill and everyone was super friendly and professional. The facility is beautiful with state of the art equipment. We both got exams. My daughter got a cleaning. My cleaning was booked for a month later which I thought was odd. This wasnt explained to me when I booked the appointment. My daughter had an appt to get her wisdom teeth removed and I received a call the night before that they dont even do the extraction necessary at that office and that they have to refer her to another dentist.Of course said dentist doesnt have availability for over a month, which wouldnt have been an issue if we had been given the correct info to begin with but now I have a child in discomfort that is going to be prolonged because the multiple people there that called to remind us over and over about the appt didnt even realize they cant even do it.I dont have the time or energy to waste with this unorganized mess of an office anymore. In addition to their constant appt reminders they will call the same day of your appts asking if you can drop everything and come in early because they have an opening because basically they want to get out early on a Friday.If you have an appt they are happy to charge you the $50 late cancellation/no show fee, but Im betting I dont get a $50 check for their late cancellation.On top of them not being able to do work they booked an appt for a quick review of the referred dentist shows way too many bad reviews for the work she needs that I wont even take her there.Thank you so much Oak Tree for wasting our time, Im sure my daughter is thrilled to continue several more weeks in pain and I truly enjoy scheduling time off of work for an appt that wont happen and again when I can find someone reliable to do the work.

In love with this place! I felt very comfortable here. They were very clean, used aseptic technique with their tools, the chairs were comfortable, and the staff were all very chill and happy. The exam and cleaning I got were fine but my administrative interactions were a nightmare. To preface my family is new to the area. Several issues that lead up to this rating are listed below.1.) While the dentist and hygienist I had provided quality service, there is upselling going on throughout the appointment. We have pretty decent insurance and have experienced this before, so while its not a deal breaker its very unpleasant. I just wanted what I asked for.2.) My wife was charged for treatment that was covered under our insurance. She notified staff it was covered and still had to pay out of pocket. When she followed up she was informed that they did make a mistake and the treatment should have been covered, but instead of reimbursing her a credit was applied to the account. A call would have been nice.3.) I was unsure about rather or not a treatment I received was covered and trying to get a hold of an insurance rep to check. The front desk worker very kindly offered complimentary treatment, so I thought. We later found out this was charged against the credit my wife had received. Again, no call or heads up.4.) They ran the charges for my wifes treatment through her old employers insurance program. We have no idea why as my insurance was the only active one and the program we gave them.5.) After learning she had a credit to use my wife went in for a treatment and planned to use the credit and pay out of pocket for any leftover cost. This is how we found out my free service wasnt free.We never received any follow up calls or notifications other than a call I received for a follow up cleaning. When I told the representative that my wife and I had issues and I didnt THINK wed be coming back, she promptly responded she would deactivate my account and hung up. With this we never received a single apology during the entire ordeal.Its worth noting that my insurance was expiring as I was no longer with my previous employer. I was forthcoming with this information and had no problem paying out of pocket if we needed to after it expired (we have an HRA). I did not however, let them know that I was on a waiting period with a new employer and will have the same level of coverage dentists seem to love. I cant say rather or not that was the reason we were treated so poorly by the front office. But I can say that the lack of financial transparency, poor communication, and nasty attitude we encountered means we will not be returning. Good luck should you go based on these 5 star reviews like I did.

The staff of Oak Tree Dentistry was extremely professional and made my visit quite pleasant. Dr. Gill, Michelle, Samantha, Tameka, and Evette are all friendly and super laid back which made me feel very relaxed prior to my procedure. I had my first visit today, I have anxiety when I go to the dentist, especially new dentists. Everyone was very nice, Dr. Gill was able to book me for a root canal later this week by squeezing me in, I am so grateful for this, Tameka was awesome, and got me to relax, her energy was very chill during my deep cleaning. I will definitely be recommending this team to my family and friends. Thank you!

It was only my first appointment at Oak Tree Dentistry, however; they were very welcoming, and they were extremely thorough during the tooth/gum examinations and cleaning. They also answered any questions I had about the procedures, what was wrong with my teeth, and how to improve my overall dental hygiene. They also ensured that the pain was not excessive during the cleaning. Overall, it was a great experience and 10/10 would go again.
