Amazing experience the staff was wonderful my 18 year old son had LASIK with Dr. Lusby and the team at NVision Fullerton. He cannot be any happier he wore glasses his entire life. Two days later he was excited to be able to see the fine details and read the menu at a restaurant. Thank you to the Fullerton team it’s been a huge blessing in our lives.

Getting Lasik surgery here was the worst mistake of my life. Developed a huge floater after surgery and they say it has nothing to do with the surgery which is a total lie. Now I see much worse than when I had my glasses and they tell me there is nothing I could do.

I had a Lasik surgery with Dr. Tooma at this center and unfortunately I was very unhappy from day one. After going back-and-forth, he did a correction on my eyes. However, I was still very unhappy with the result.when they booked me for the procedure I was told this will have a life guarantee, meaning if anything goes wrong and I’m not happy with the result, they will make sure to take care of me again and do everything they can to keep me happy without any extra charges. However, these are all lies and they’re trying to get your money and sign you for the procedure!!after going back-and-forth again and talking to the Director of the center and the doctor himself, now his recommending another procedure and he wants to charge me a lot of money. When I asked the life guarantee I was promise at the time of signing for the procedure, they never have a good explanation. I have other friends that are going through the same experience with this center so I decided to let other people know not to waste your time and money!I’m hearing a lot of great stories about other centers which when they tell you, there’s a life guarantee, they really mean it. My vision is worse than before the procedure and nobody wants to take any responsibility about this. I’m very disappointed, extremely unhappy, and so upset that I wasted more than $5000 of my money on a Doctor Who is very irresponsible!!I’m hoping this helps other people to do more research when they want to decide on their eyes… for God sake this is our eyes and we want to put it in someone’s hands Who is at least responsible for the promises they make!!

I did research on which doctors I want to do surgery on my eyes, Dr. Lusby came out to be top choice. I took (PRK) 3 months after the surgery and my eyes are better than before 20/15 vision. Thanks Dr. Franklin lusby & nvision staff you guys change my life for something better.

Best decision I have ever made, wished I would have done it sooner. The whole staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. Valery and Melinda were really nice and gave me a warm welcome.Had a great experience from the consultation process to the surgery date. The doctor and nurses walk you through the entire LASIK process, making it super comfortable and painless. Definitely will refer this place. Thank you so much. My vision is 20/20!

I regret coming here. I came in, they told me how much it would cost for my surgery. I paid partially I used care credit for the rest. The employee said thats all you going to pay. On the day of the surgery ended up paying another $1000.00 and I wasnt aware. I did pay it. Two weeks later I get a refund of $1,000 because i over paid and now they are sending me to collections because I owe them $1,000. What the hell.

I chose not to get the procedure cause of my own concerns that they were truly honest about and instead of just trying to sell me on it they gave me the facts. Even though Im bummed it didnt work out Im glad that they gave me more options to look into. A very professional staff friendly welcoming and most importantly honest and as a professional myself I respect that. The team at NVision were extremely friendly, professional, and thorough with their approach to cataract surgery and eye care. The light adjustable lens are a game changer and worth the investment! The only negative is the time spent during every visit. Plan on two hours average per visit. There is always long waits between checkin, treatments and/or meeting the doctors.

Fantastic experience! The actual procedure took less than 10 minutes and I have had no pain, and was seeing 20/15 the next day. They use the best technology available. Blade-less is the way to go. The entire staff was very nice and helpful, and working with an experienced surgeon like Dr. Lusby was very re-assuring. The man does about 250 surgeries a month! I would recommend NVISION to any of my closest family members and friends.

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Rowen. Her knowledge, experience and surgical skills are amazing. This place really was fantastic. While it seems scary, they lead you through it very well. My surgeon was excellent, he talked me through it before hand, and while it was happening. His guidance and demeanor (along with the Xanax they provided) kept me very calm throughout the whole procedure (which was less than 15 minutes). When I got home, my eyes started to be irritated about an hour after, as they told me they would. So I took the sleeping pill they can me. I woke up 7 hours later, and I havent had any pain since, about 2 months now. My near sightedness (-5.0) and astigmatism are totally gone. 20/20 vision! Truly it was so easy and simple, I could do it again without any anxiety.

I have been a patient of NVISION before and am there again for the second cataract surgery. Dr. Rowen is the best and she has been great to me in every way. The staff at NVISION are great too. It does take a long time for the first appointment but it is well worth it because you feel like they are very thorough. I have had nothing but excellent service from them.

Amazing! I had a lot of concerns initially, Ive had a pretty high prescription most of my life, but the staff was phenomenal and did a great job alleviating my concerns. They were tremendously patient with me and the whole staff was friendly. The Surgeons there are top notch, they know their business. Especially, Dr. Lusby...first class, great demeanor and bedside manor. Oh almost forgot, I no longer need prescription lenses. Do it, you wont regret and no this is not a fake or paid review.

The staff and the doctors are knowledgeable and friendly. I was kinda nervous before the surgery but that Xanax works, all my anxiety were gone before they put me on the table. The procedure was quick and painless. So far i’m happy with the results except for some dry eyes. I’m only post 5days and they say it gets better and full recovery is 3months. I would glad to recommend NVISION to the people i know. It’s a little bit pricier but the results and amazing is great.

The office staff is incredibly helpful, professional, and happy! The Drs have great bedside manner and are able to breakdown complex medical messaging into language that anyone can understand. The Drs did an exceptional job explaining and setting proper expectations for the procedure. Everything during the procedure and in post-op went exactly as the Drs outlined. You do smell your eyeballs burning when the laser zaps them, which is pretty nasty, but the Drs said that would happen too! Overall, my experience with NVISION was seamless and the people were all fantastic!

I am very pleased with the results. Dr Rude and Dr Lusby were great. Dr Lusby talked to me through the whole procedure so I felt really comfortable with what was happening through the whole process.The office staff seems a little over extended as it is hard to call them. They prefer to email and text which is fine if you dont have any questions but can be more difficult going back and forth when a phone call would be easier.I like that they dont over promise what they can do for you. I was told that my vision may not be quite as sharp as with new contacts but my distance vision is actually better than it was before with my contacts. I was a -8.75/-8.0 so this is going to be life changing as I really couldnt function without glasses or contacts. My close up vision doesnt seem as good but it has improved each day since the surgery. I also didnt opt for the mono vision option which could have helped with this but I wasnt having any issues with my closeup vision before. I was told that complete healing take about 3 month and things should continue to improve so as I am only 4 days post-op I am thrilled with the distance vision and hopeful that the close up will continue to improve a little more. At this point my only regret is not having done it sooner.

Got my lasik surgery with contoura completed by Dr Lusby here and am very happy with the results. Free parking available at the center. The process was explained thoroughly and they’ll answer any questions you have. My sister had her surgery done here and I was all referred to this spot by Dr. Cheung from Fashion Eyes in West Covina. For the LASIK process, you need to:1. go in for a free consultation. Don’t wear contacts for a few days beforehand. They’ll perform various tests to see whether you’re a good candidate for lasik. Afterwards, they’ll go over costs and the surgery procedure with you.2. Note that you need to go to your optometrist for a pupil dilation (whether that be before your consultation or after).3. They’ll give you instructions, but you can’t wear contacts the week before your surgery. You’ll have to get a couple of eye drop medications and take fish oil supplements. They have a package available for purchase at the center or you can obtain these items on your own. They will write you a prescription.4. On the day of surgery, you need someone to drive you to/from the surgery. You’ll go through the tests again and it’ll take about 2.5 hours before you have your actual surgery, which happened very quickly. You get a Xanax to relax as well as sleeping pills to sleep the rest of the day off. You don’t take your goggles off until you see your optometrist the following day for a checkin.

I was not in a rush to get the procedure done coming from wearing hard contacts for 25+ years so I took my time changing over to soft contacts then glasses. The entire staff never rushed me. Rather they gave me lots of information, walked me through my concerns, and explained what was going on as my vision adjusted to a baseline. I came in for my consultation and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions thoroughly and when it came time to make an appointment they weren’t at all pushy. They never made me feel pressured to make an appointment on the spot but I decided to make my appointment that day. They scheduled all my pre and post-op appointments with my optometrist. The day of my surgery I felt completely relaxed, the staff was again, so friendly and easy going. They answered all my questions and explained everything to me. Dr. Lusby was awesome before and during my surgery. He explained everything he was going to do before the surgery as well as during, which really helped calm my nerves. My experience throughout the entire process was exceptional. The staff was great in answering all my questions and any concerns I had. The time it took from my initial checkup until my surgery was really quick. Taleen walked me through the entire process from the start. She was great! The doctor before my surgery went into details about my condition which I thought was really informative. Finally, Dr. Lusby was really interactive right before the surgery which made me feel a lot more comfortable. I finally have the vision that Ive been missing out on this entire time. Im currently at 20/15 the day after my surgery. Once it completely heals I should definitely see sharper and possibly even better. I wish I had done it sooner. After going to three different Vision Centers for consultations, I decided to go with Nvision and Im extremely glad I did. The staff is very professional and answers questions in detail. I experienced no discomfort and was able to see 20/20 in both eyes the day after surgery. I havent interacted with Dr. Lusby yet, so I cant say what my experience with him has been, but I have had so much difficulty with my patient coordinator. She was so friendly and kind during my consultation, and Im sad to even share this experience but it has changed my opinion of this offices professionalism and trust in its ability to manage my care.All I needed to do was pick-up my pre-op kit. Catherine said I could stop by the office and pick it up anytime. I stopped by about two weeks before my scheduled procedure with both my young kids in tow to find the office was locked and closed on Monday. No sign with office hours in front and I was never told that the office was closed on Mondays.I had to call the main receptionist number to find out that youre closed on Mondays and from 12pm-1pm for lunch. Please update your business hours on Google and Yelp. Catherine kindly called me after reading a review I left on Google. She apologized and said that, unfortunately, the fish oil shipment hadnt arrived yet but that she would send me a text as soon as it arrived. She said she could take off $50 from the cost of the $150 kit. I appreciated that, and waited the rest of the week until Friday which would be one week from my procedure when I would need to start my eye drops and fish oil.I waited all day without any contact from the office or Catherine, so I texted her at 4:30pm but didnt hear a reply so I called the office to see if I could pick-up my pre-surgery kit. But the line got cut and so I had to call and explain myself again. Melinda picked up my call the second time and said that I could possibly pickup what I needed from CVS. Why wasnt that option given to me on Monday or when I first had my consultation? Catherine eventually texted me back saying that she had left the office early and that she could meet me at the office on Sunday or Monday. I understand that personal emergencies happen and so do mistakes, but its felt like a wild goose chase just to pick up a small pre-surgery kit that you are charging people $150 for.I am so frustrated and disappointed at the level of care. I only get once chance at my first Lasik procedure. I do not appreciate having to delay my pre-surgery preparations at the cost of my health outcomes. If I had been told, Call the office before you come to make sure were open, or Call back on Friday because we usually get our shipment of fish oil in the afternoon, then I could have planned for that and prepared accordingly. I have two young toddlers schedules to manage. I cannot drop everything and come at the drop of a dime. Working with NVISION has been difficult, unprofessional, and so disappointing.

Both my husband and I recently had cataract surgery in both eyes. The entire staff, including receptionists, assistants and doctors, were very professional and friendly. Everyone at the center was very nice, and extremely helpful. All my questions were answered, and everyone went out of their way to accommodate me (no vision joke intended!). Dr. Lusby and Dr. Rude were very approachable and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed. Before surgery, everything farther an about six inches from my face was out of focus... now I have absolutely perfect vision. I was told there would be issues with dry eyes, but that has been minimal for me and my eyes are much more comfortable now than when I had contact lenses in. I would recommend this center to anyone.

I recently got my LASIK surgery here with Dr.Lusby . My pre-op here at the Nvision Center was great, didn’t take longer than an hour everyone was very kind and friendly.Coming in for my LASIK was scary but they did everything to make me feel comfortable, my surgery didn’t take longer than 10-15 minutes. Thank you Drs. and staff for making it a great experience and educating me on my post-op care. Still trying not to grab my glasses on the way out after all I did wear them for almost 11 years. Overall experience was good. Its been a little over 3 months since I had the procedure. I didnt give a 3 because my left eye experienced more dryness and irritation than my right. Also, its vision is not as good compared to my right eye. Second, I was not told in advance I needed certain meds and eye drops. It wasnt until 15 minutes before the procedure that I was told so I was forced to buy their package for $130. If I knew before hand I would have saved a lot of money because I had insurance. Lastly, one of my follow up appointments I was left waiting for over 45 minutes for a 5 minute meet with the doctor. Could have been longer if I didnt say anything to the front desk lady. I HATE waiting at the doctors office, when I have a scheduled appointment my waiting limit is 30 minutes but any more than that Im not a happy person. But after that incident the rest of my follow ups the wait has been 10 minutes or less so maaaaybe that one day they were just short staffed.

I had my surgery yesterday morning. The actual procedure lasted only 10-15 minutes and was pretty painless. I had some very minor discomfort in the eyes when I got home, but they gave me something to sleep right away and when I woke up 5 hours later I felt great. Dr. Rosen’s surgical talents are completely amazing. Had two cataract surgeries and it was incredible to see my eye (each time) post surgery just as it was before surgery. I was expecting my eyes to be bloodshot and in pain. But no they were perfect. My vision was great but it was unbelievable not to see any signs of surgery. The pain level once I returned home was absolutely zero. No need for aspirin, Tylenol or any other type of pain relief. Choose Dr. Rowen and you will get the best!

Why didnt I get this earlier??? I went to another Lasik doctor only to be pressured to have the surgery the same day...really? and I can drive myself home? I quickly left and made an appointment to see the great docs at Fullerton. As soon as I got there everyone was friendly and upbeat. I even pressured them with asking to get my surgery the next day, since I already had my pre-op with my own doctor and was on the antibiotics they recommend.The day of the surgery I was a little nervous but everyone there settled my nerves by just being up beat and avail to answer any last minute questions I had. Then as soon as it was my time, they gave me a happy pill and before I could even say anything the surgery was done... and I could SEE!!!Its been about 2 months and everything is great. I still have a little dry eye but I had that before the surgery and sitting too close at a movie theater is a BIG NONO, but other than that I love it... I can see my daughters beautiful face whenever I want, I can see the baseball score every time my husband ask... which is often at a game, and basically its just awesome!I recommend anyone who can, go out and get this done... its worth it the next morning when you grab for your glasses and realize that they are not there and that you can finally see that alarm clock without squinting or putting on those specs!

Very friendly, courteous, and professional staff. All questions and concerns were answered and Lasik procedure was quick and painless. Immediately afterwards, my vision improved to 20/15 with very little side effects other than a little soreness and dry eyes which will heal in the coming weeks. Everyone was very friendly and the office is very clean. I am probably one of the worst people they could have because I hate having things in my eyes but Dr. Lusby was extremely profession and talked me trough my surgery very well and kept me as relaxed as possible. Also Dr. Rude was extremely helpful a long with the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend nvision to anyone thinking about having the surgery especially with there high profile list of clients including many professional athletes.

Overall a good experience. I had to end up getting PRK and with the help of some pills just slept the pain off the first couple of days. After day 3, the pain was gone. After almost 4 weeks, my vision has started to come around. Night vision is still pretty bad but getting better. The staff was very friendly and professional throughout the whole process. They explained everything and made the surgery as comfortable as possible. Dr. Lusby took the time to explain the process and answer all my questions. I was a little worried about doing the PRK and Im still not fully recovered but so far I would do it again.

I had my surgery on July 25, it was fast and painfree. After the surgery, you are supposed to have some sleeping pills to help you relax after the surgery. I am 43 years old, and prior to my surgery, had been wearing glasses or contact lenses since I was 6 yrs old. I HATED wearing glasses. I finally had the surgery on July 11th, and the only regret is that I didnt have the surgery sooner. I just got both of my eyes surgery performed by Dr. Lusby at the Fullerton eye center a few days ago. It took me a long time to finally got it done because i was skeptical about the results and the “what if”. Boy was i wrong!! I now (a couple days after the surgery) for the first time in my life be able to see far in detail all of the imperfection in my wall and what not. Its like watching everything in HD. This place is amazing the optometrist woman who saw me and ran the tests told me I’d have the same result whether or not I got wavefront or contoura and so they saved me 600$! Its been over two years since my surgery, and I still have to use Refresh Optive artificial tears everyday because of burning, which Dr. Rude said, Will only be temporary. Was seeing 20/15 at first and about the 11 month mark vision started to slip. I now see 20/30 which is bad enough for me to buy a $350 pair of prescription glasses to see far when I drive. And yes, that was not covered by NVision, only enhancements are covered which I cant have because its not enough to correct, but is enough for me to have to squint and wear glasses YET AGAIN. Also, I have massive glare from street lights and light bending off street signs when I drive at night. I would not use Dr. Lusby for this procedure when I personally know a hand full of co workers and friends who saw Dr. Tooma and paid a little more and are still seeing better than me more than two years down the road. Customer service is rancid.There is variation when doing this, any surgery is risky, you could have better results, Im telling you my results which are real. And if I were you (a possible candidate) talk to people who have had the surgery several years ago instead of 3 months.
