Best experience! The doctor asked me the issues beforehand and then had a very good bedside manner and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely return here for future visits to keep my body feeling good! Dr. Kong did such a good job!!

Dr. Khong is a very knowledgeable and great chiropractor. I usually have neck tightness and when hes done working on my back and neck, the discomfort is gone. Also, this place has a workout gym that the hours I workout, theres no more than several people there. Very nice local gym/chiropractor as I only live about a half mile away

I was recommended by my husband who was already receiving services from Dr. Lum. I had been living my life with chronic pain down my entire left side of my body from a previous accident I was involved in a few years ago. I had seen chiropractors and physical therapists in the past and was given daily exercises or drills to do. I’d do them and they’d relieve the aches and pain temporarily but it still made daily living a struggle, some more than others. I’ve even gotten deep tissue massages almost weekly to relieve the pain but it was still short term and I needed to do something about it.So I finally took my husband’s advice and came to see Dr. Lum. I thought, if anything, I’d at least get an adjustment out of it if I didn’t like it or thought it was worth it. So I gave it a shot, and it was definitely not what I expected the services to be.Dr. Lum works more with soft tissue, so he started off using his fingers to massage out the knots, then I told him I had very high pain tolerance so he went in with tools to get into the skin even deeper and it was like a deep tissue massage but in the smallest targeted areas and every little micro knots were getting pushed out and softened. I definitely saw improvements!And I gotta say, I’ll definitely be coming back! And I’m looking forward to Dr. Lum beating up my arms again. Haha! Thanks again Dr. Lum!

Ive been coming to Nu Image since theyve opened and the staff and doctors are friendly and welcoming.From the first visit they fixed my up and I was able to walk pain free and it felt great. I was so twisted up due to an insert I wore fir years which was the root of my pain!Due to insurance I was not able to continue there service but Im back again and looking forward to monthly visits!Highly Recommend

Nu Image is great! Quiet Gym With slightly older equipment but absolutely everything you need for a great workout. Love how quiet it is. I go early and have the place practically to myself which I love but Ive gone at all times of the day and I almost never have to wait to use a machine or piece of equipment at all but if I do, its less than 5min or so. Also go see Dr. Khong. Hes the best! Great adjustments, targeted massage for those sore muscles and also just a really nice guy! Their front desk and office staff and trainers are fantastic as well.My wife and I both go here and love the family friendly vibe. Only wish it were open 24/7 but thats because I dont work normal hours.

They are more interested in squeezing every last penny out of you than actually helping you. Not only did they overcharge me for every session, but they released me from treatment even though I feel no improvement. Its clear they care more about their profits than their patients well-being. Avoid this chiropractor.

I went it after a really bad fall down the stairs. The receptionist offered such great customer services, and was able to schedule me in that same day. The chiropractor was amazing- I walked in barely able to walk, and left with so much more mobility. He explained what he was doing and was super patient and helpful! I’m so glad my friends recommended this office- I finally found a great chiropractor!

I came across this location by chance searching through google. It was a good recommendation.The process of making an appointment was easy. Glad that they take insurance.I had been needing this alignment muscle work for a while and had been putting it off because of cost. Even with out the insurance I still thought of it as reasonably priced when I received the estimate.The location is easy to find, parking is easy, and registering is simple.The treatment I experienced was great and overall looking forward to making this part of my lifestyle.

I have been loving my visits here for chiropractic adjustments. The muscle work is the worst and best part because although its intense, I feel so much better afterwards. I get migraines often, so my goal is to correct my posture in the hopes that I wont get migraines anymore (or as often). Dr. Lum is great!! Highly recommend if youre sick of chronic neck and back pain.

Dr. Gunter is amazing and easily the best chiropractor I’ve seen. He finds a solution to the problem rather than slap a bandaid on the issue by placing bones back where they belong and deep muscle work. Likewise, Amanda is an amazing massage therapist who is very attentive to your needs and will work your body the way it needs to be worked. Front desk is always amazing as well!

Guy Gunther is the best chiropractor ever. His knowledge and expertise in personal training and sports medicine makes him so valuable. In just one session he takes my pain level all the way down. In one short visit you can feel so much better. He truly cares and is intuitive too. Hes usually all booked up so make your appointments in advance. Hes a life saver. My experience with Nu Image Well Center is really great. It’s so easy to make an appointment n on d actual day I didn’t even have to wait. The front desk is really friendly Carly explained to me very well with regards to insurance n billing. And of coarse Dr. Gunther was super awesome, he examined my arm really well n explained to me from A to Z.. Dr Gunther was patient enough to work on my arm n teach me some exercise that will help me heal faster. I would definitely come back and continue my therapy with Dr. Gunther - highly recommended :)

I have to say i love this gym. Pros gym has lots of different equipment and the best part is no crowds i can pull up at 6 in the morning and walk in to boot camp.They dont have showers or pool which is fine, but they do have a massage therapist which is excellent.

I love this place! Everyone is super nice & friendly. The trainers & staff are not pushy or intimidating like at other gyms. I cant say enough about the chiropractors, masseuses, & therapeutic staff. Dr. Lum, Marvin, & Amanda have helped me out tremendously! My fibromyalgia has calmed down a lot, & Ive regained range of motion that I assumed was just gone forever. A body-building friend of mine recommended Nu Image after I moved to the OC from LA a few years ago. Ive been seeing Dr. Khong on and off whenever Ive felt a need to get some movement in my neck or spine. He has always given me great adjustments to get me back into alignment.Ive been seeing chiropractors for the last 10 years to help with adjustments when things get out of alignment. Im well versed in what makes a good chiropractic team vs a practice that wants to fit as many patients in as possible within the hour.Unlike other chiropractors who will put you on a roller or traction table, Dr. Khong will manually work on you to help locked up muscles relax. He has his own method of locating trigger points, as well as smoothing out the muscles if theyre too tight. He will work on me for a bit, have me get up and move around, then reassesses his next move before continuing with the treatment.This type of customized care is so valuable to me and Im very appreciative of the hands-on approach and care that he takes. I know I receive proper attention whenever I have a visit.He has a great bedside manner and gives me great explanations as to why I experience pain in other areas if a certain joint isnt in alignment. On top of it, I have always had a great experience with the front desk being considerate and accommodating when Ive had to call and reschedule.I highly recommend Dr. Khong - hell be my chirpopractor for life!

Ok so today was my first appointment with Dr Brian Lum. He was amazing. The doctor and staff at this facility are really great. Dr Lum really gets in the muscles and gets the knots out and loosens up those tight muscles! The chiropractic adjustment after felt amazing as well. Great great chiropractor for sure. If you enjoy deep tissue muscle work he’s definitely your guy! If you don’t enjoy or can’t tolerate deep tissue muscle manipulation he may not be for you. It’s not for the faint of heart! But it’s definitely for me! I’ll be back next week. Just made a follow up appointment. Can’t wait to go back!

Ive been going here for years on and off depending on where Im living, and I still to this day drive out of my way to get massages and visit Dr. Lum for chiropractic services. Theyre all that good, and I couldnt recommend this place any more. They can show you how to take better care of yourself, and get you feeling great! I had some pretty horrible lower back pains that ended up being associated with my hips being too tight from sitting and staring at a computer. He legitimately fixes the issue if it arises. This a full service gym I especially love the boxing, prior to the pandemic working out here I always felt safe wipes were always readily available the staff does a fantastic job with cleaning #maria. This establishment has it ALL. The main reason I came here was to get a consultation (for my messed up shoulder blades and sciatic nerve issues) with Dr. Lum but I was impressed with the facility over all. They have a full gym on site. Plenty of machines, treadmills, free weights, turf, you name it. I’ve never had a good experience at a gym until I stepped into the Nu Image wellness center. And that’s not even the best part. Dr.Lum and his staff go above and beyond to address your individual needs and goals. They have meal prep and personal training available too. It’s almost like a one stop shop for you overall health. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything is nice, clean and organized. Go check them out, your body will thank you…. Edit! If you have a sciatic nerve problem hell fix it it might take awhile he is considerate and listens to everything that you have to say and be prepared your first visits going to be about an hour..he took away any problem I had with my sciatica..then I had a problem with a trigger finger..he took care of that!!

This is the best kept secret in long beach! So clean and well organized. The staff are super knowledgeable and extremely friendly and down-to-earth. The facility is wonderful, but also the classes are awesome and varied. There is everything from yoga classes of all kinds to Pilates to strength and Mobility classes and even Zumba! There are free workshops on Saturdays at 11 a.m. on all kinds of fitness and health related topics. Not to mention there is CrossFit! And it is so great! Dont even get me started, its too much to explain.Also, if you need a trainer, there are so many amazing people at this facility who can help you reach your fitness goals. Whether you want to Olympic lift with Mark, work on your powerlifting game with Axel, bodybuild with David, Terry, or any of the other amazing people who work there, or work on physical therapy - - you can do it all! Also, they have great services at this Wellness Center. Its not just a gym! There are Chiropractic services and more! I personally see dr. Lum and have for the past few years and it has completely helped me in so many different ways physically that I cant even express my gratitude to him as my primary health practitioner and just as a person in general - top-notch human being! I also hear a wonderful things from my friends who go to Dr. Guy Gunter as their chiropractor - - he is knowledgeable in a lot of other physical and muscular areas as well, and he is also a trainer and a very inspiring weightlifter. And lets not forget about Dr. Oca, who is one of the nicest, funniest, sweetest people you can ever meet in your life, and he is also an amazing chiropractor. I also have to give a shout out to the amazing massage therapists that we have in our facility. Jenny is the greatest Thai massage therapist I have ever been to. Also you cannot beat the affordability of this Wellness Center, whether its for the gym, Chiropractic services, Massage Therapy Services, CrossFit membership, or whatever - - you will always get your moneys worth. Amazing results with Brian!! I have a tear in my shoulder rotator cuff. Went to three different ortho surgeons. One recommended surgery (which I chose not to). Another one gave me a cortisone shot. Went to PT. None of it helped. Within a few sessions with Brian, I was able to move my arm without pain. After about 10 sessions, I’m at 95%! I have almost normal range and strength in my right arm now. And I have been able to play tennis again!!I’m even sending my husband and son to see Brian.

I visited Dr. Brian Lum after receiving a recommendation from a medical doctor. I could barely be on my feet for more than 5 minutes when I arrived. After accessing my condition, Dr. Lum performed ~ 30 minutes of trigger-point massage therapy. Though the process was somewhat painful, the results were somewhat miraculous. About 24 hours later, I flew to a convention in Las Vegas and was able to be on my feet walking for hours at a time - pain free!
