NRG used to be my heating and air conditioning company until they busted through a wall putting a new thermostat in which I didnt even ask for and was too small for the area. We noticed it the next day and couldnt believe he hadnt known what he did. Obviously he must have but didnt say anything . We called numerous times for them to send someone to plaster over the hole to no avail. They seemed to think it wasnt their problem. Anyway, after a year we just gave up and crossed them off as our air conditioning company. It has been no loss! Dont want a company thats shady and crooked which they are

Last Saturday I had new equipment installed by Jose and Frankie. They are nice and professional And I learned some new things by them. They give advice and show me from they experience and that was nice of them. They did the work and cleaned up afterwards that very nice of them. Even that were there job to clean up after .and I still thank you for that. Now my family will get a nice clean air in the house. I told family members and friends about it.. and seem interested.. so you guys might get some call. 😊 thanks again NRG.

Technician from NRG arrived December 21st. He was respectful, answered questions gave a good explanation of services done. One issue happened after he left in which the unit wouldnt turn off & could not be controlled from the Thermostat inside the house. Upon calling NRG they placed me in contact with the tech and he returned immediately and fixed the issue. A willingness to come back and fix issues with their work is why I ultimately chose this company to install the HVAC system last year and that was demonstrated on this job.

Brian Jimenez just came out to my house and I’m thrilled with the service I received. I needed help desperately with dust particles in my home. Brian thoroughly explained the process of checking all my ducts to ensure there wasn’t something wrong or just plain dirty. We just bought a new construction home so he was great with being honest that although there’s dust it could be that we benefit from the iwave. He was not like a salesperson like those people who just want to sell something. He explained how this air purifier will help with dust and organic particles that happen naturally throughout our home. Plus, we basically live in a dust bowl in Bakersfield. He was soooo helpful in getting me the best price! He went the extra mile by calling his boss to see if we could figure out a price that worked. Of course, I was so appreciative!! I scored! He’s funny, kind and really took the time to thoroughly walk me through the entire process. The iwave is now installed in my furnace and my house feels better already. Brian is worthy of being named an honest hvac man! Thank you nrg hearing and air 🙃☺️💖

We have had a terrible experience with NRG Heating and Air. They LIE! This company has terrible customer service! They sold us on a deal for a new AC Unit ($7000) and had someone come out to “service our current unit and replace a filter” ?? We’ll just look at the quality of work they pride themselves on just before they try and gouge you for more money. Look at how it’s installed all bent and shoved in. It wasn’t even put into the correct tray!The tech Ziv said he’d clean everything inside and out and he failed to do that.The smell was terrible when you started the AC. It smelled dirty in the house. My kids had been breathing this air!We trusted NRG and their technicians to come to our home that cared enough about quality and honesty. This is clearly NOT the case. Please look at the pictures and read the emails that went back and forth. Not only will they not pay us back our deposit for absolutely NOTHING DONE, but the Assistant Manager even THREATENED to send us to collections for more money! Yes, he had the audacity to even claim that we still owed them for NOTHING. They didn’t even step foot into our home to do one single bit of work on a new unit. He ALSO claimed that they knew the filter wasn’t put in correctly and was the wrong size but they were going to change it when they came back for the “bigger job”. ANOTHER LIE. They don’t take ownership of a horrible job their own worker did.We didn’t even approve the job and the quote until a few days later, so please tell me how did they know they would replace the filter!!? This is utter bull. We could’ve declined the offer at this time for a new unit and your technician would have never come back. This complete and utter embarrassment on behalf of their owners and his manager. We’d like a refund for the deposit as well as the terrible job done prior. DO NOT HIRE NRG HEATING & AIR.

Had an initial great experience getting some help with my thermostat and they indicated I needed a new furnace since it was old and potentially unsafe. I appreciated this advice, signed up for their service plan, and asked them to come back to either service or give me quote.The other technician came over and confirmed that I should get a new furnace since my current one was just too old. However, we had just had our whole house painted and he left a big mess of black marks and scuffed paint when accessing the attic. I reached out over email and phone to see how they would handle it. I got a call from the tech but he was too busy but he would come back later to clean it. Nothing after that. I emailed service with pictures and they said they would look into it. I got a call from a manager wondering if I was ready to move on the quote but she had to leave for the day and then nothing. I keep getting outmated texts and emails to give reviews which is annoying, since Im just looking for them to simply clean up the mess and pay for repaint.At this point I dont trust NRG to do a good job so moving on and having the ceiling repainted. Too bad since my initial experience was good but they feel too big and unresponsive.

This was my first time working with Jeremy and NRG. Both Jeremy and NRG representatives were very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jeremy did an amazing job and was very thorough, helpful, and polite. The pricing seemed fair and only time will tell about the qualifying the products used today, but judging how things have gone so far, I’m sure it’ll be great.

Every one I was in touch with was just great. From my first call to Claudia the advisor who gave me the bid she knew her job and Fernando and his brothers who did the install very clean,expert job. Price was fair and service was the best. You wont go wrong with NRG. Thank you

If it were possible to give less than one star I would do so. I leave it to the yelp user to read the dispute and determine the inexcusable lack of professionalism displayed by this entire organization.Hello Michell,Per our conversation on the phone, attached please find photos regarding damage, mess left by the crews, and timestamped screenshots of security footage of the crews not working causing additional delays to this project.1. To begin, this project was quoted to be by Fred to take 2 days and was to include:a new combination unit on the roofcutting one new vent into the master bath (this was not possible per the crew)removing all the insulationreplacing all the ductinginstalling new insulation2. Fred assured me when selling me on this service that the entire project would take only 2 days. I have tenants, and operate a business from home. The lost revenue as the result of my inability to work in my home office is significant, in addition to the cost I incurred by having to pay for my tenants to have a place to stay while I resided in the ADU.3. Larry, the apparent account manager, constantly insisted that he was new here and trying his best to work out completing this job in the time frame promised. He did not. He didnt call me back several times when he committed to, most recently yesterday 9/14/20 when we spoke at 9:29am. He told me he would call me back to have the trash removed and he did not.4. As you can see by the paint damage and filth in the attached photos, I also incurred cleaning and repainting costs for that area of my home.5. Additionally when Fred sold me this project I was assured that I would receive photos and documentation from your staff along with completed paperwork so I could receive the rebate from LADWP. I was told all I would have to do would be sign and send the forms into LADWP. I have received none of this.6. I paid the deposit of $900 on 8/26/20. Today is 9/15/20 and there remains trash in my driveway, the job is STILL not completed.Overall, I am completely unsatisfied with this process. Everything that was promised when I agreed and paid the deposit for this project was not fulfilled. I have incurred significant personal expense in needing to relocate tenants, and significant loss of business revenue as the result of not being able to work in my home office.Following this exchange I was promised by Michell Tapping for a return phone call within 48 hours, and received a return call SEVEN WEEKS LATER only for them to request I pay the balance on the account.None of my concerns were rectified, I was left in my home during the highest recorded temperatures in Los Angeles without insulation, working ducting, or the ability to cool my home after consistent neglect and lack of professionalism.I implore you to see the photos below, and do not hire this company. Furthermore, they never made any offer to repair any of the paint or damage they left. Do not recommend.
