This shop is great! Not only is the customer service exemplary but the inside customer waiting area is beautiful! Coffee, bathroom, TV with remote, couches or table seating, and a gorgeous saltwater tank. I came in to get my tire repaired but I would say exceptional service and work. I would highly recommend this tire shop!

Discovering a nail in your tire as your leaving for work is not ideal. These guys were the only local s shop open and they had me in and out of there in 15 mins. Nice office, nice people, great service. I’ll be using them again for their other services. Thanks for making my day better!

Accidentally drove here somehow for an unscheduled suspension repair, since then I have been serviced only here. I like the pricing policy and a good team of craftsmen. The employees are very friendly, polite and diplomatic. There is also a lounge where you can enjoy a variety of hot drinks. The work is done quickly and efficiently.I will definitely use again if necessary and will recommend to friends and acquaintances. They work for the result, which is always nice and you start to respect the masters and owners of this service.

I purchased a set of tires from Tire Pros last summer because they not only had the specific Michelins I wanted, but knew the product well, and their price was very competitive. Their service is excellent because they are not only competent, but also friendly and courteous. Yesterday, I ran over a screw and called them. Got my tire taken care of without charge quicker than it would have taken AAA to get here and change it. I told a local restaurant manager about my tire, and he said Tire Pros were good guys and provided excellent service. I would give them 10 stars.

North Highlands Tire Pros & Auto Care deserves six stars. Their customer service is exemplary. I took my vehicle in for what appeared to be a minor repair and it turned out to be a major repair. They keep me informed every step of the way, identified other things that they recognized would need to be repaired, and they repaired keeping my original cost estimate the same. A professionally managed auto shop that isn’t out to rip me off does exist. Kudos to North Highlands Tire Pros & Auto Care.

This place tried to rip me off big time. AND I was charged for it. They did a diagnoses of my car and charged me $150 I expressed REPEATEDLY I only wanted what needed to be repaired the guy at the counter kept saying, well it all depends on how much youre willing to spend which is NOT correct. I went to another mechanic. They fixed one thing that they didnt even list and then told me nothing in the list NEEDED to be repaired. They literally quoted me over 2,000 of repairs meanwhile my new trustworthy mechanic fixed everything for under 350 WITH AN OIL CHANGE. Not honest trustworthy business people BEWARE!!

Great service! Provide pictures with inspection and do not try to push on recommendations. Gave me a ride back to my house and completed the work quickly. I even got a tin of holiday cookies. Very nice staff and efficient techs. Will be making this my permanent shop for my 3 vehicles. My wife needed a lot of work done with her brakes. They got all of it done for a decent price and were very knowledgeable and friendly. We have more repairs that are needed and when they get the parts theyre going to call. They gave my wife a loaner vehicle too so she wasnt without a car for the time her car was being repaired. They also showed her some other future issues to be aware of. This is our second time coming to these guys and it definitely wont be our last. Nice local auto shop.

Very honest place. Came for balance and alignment. I have a 170k mile car and a slight shake when driving. They let me know what suspension components needed to be replaced for the alignment to be useful. Ended up only charging me for a balance and recommending me to come back after its fixed. Will for sure be back and recommending them for the honesty! Thanks guys

These guys DESERVE 500 out of 5 stars! Ive been bringing my 2017 ford escape to them for a few years now for oil changes and regular maintenance. They always get the job done right! I have yet to bring my car back to them with any issues from the work theyve done. I even brought it to them after someone hit my passenger side rear end last year, and after the headache that is dealing with insurance companies, they repaired my car and she now runs B E A U T I F U L L Y ! Its like shes brand new again, I am very very happy with awesome work they do, and I HIGHLY recommend North Highlands Tire Pros for your cars needs. Took the vehicle to be serviced through my warranty in December 2022 as vehicle was not drivable due to a steering issue. Turns out we needed a new rack and pinion and some other smaller services, warranty thankfully covered everything. Fast forward to earlier this month June 2023, as we were driving on the freeway steering became super stiff as it previously had done and we had to get off the freeway and tow the vehicle home. Mind you it was me my husband and my 4 month old daughter in the vehicle at this time and we were 80 miles away from home. I once again reach out to Tire Pros to see why the car is having this issue and they request we bring it in, car was brought in 2 days later, upon inspection they determine the rack and pinion previously put in was defective and has to be replaced, okay not their fault it happens. After the initial inspection they also let us know that the front lower control arms also need to be replaced and could have affected the overall issue, when asked why they didn’t catch this problem in the 1st inspection their reply was that the person who performed the inspection must have missed it. Like WHAT? thankfully we were not harmed when the car malfunctioned but it is extremely frustrating and upsetting that their response was so nonchalant. On top of this we ended up having to pay $500 for the lower control arms since the warranty would only cover half according to them not covering the MSRP difference. The whole process was just extremely annoying, getting a hold of someone was difficult as I called once and was told I would receive a call back, never happened and then called again and received their voicemail, they then told us our vehicle would be ready on a certain day and it was ready about a week later my husband had to keep showing up at their shop to get an update, so unprofessional. We will not be returning and if you value your time and energy I would advise to steer clear of this establishment.

Not this old lady I know cars pretty well and younger day rebuild a engine myself.First of all they didnt do anything to my car I needed an oil change they didnt do that it checked the whole front end for me though price is way too high 3,100 I dont think so. Before you have anything done get another estimate but they are friendly and clean they also take forever. I went else were and did not need half the things the said.

I highly recommend this shop!! I was referred by a friend that had used them many times & was always pleased with their service. I’ve used this shop several times now. They diagnosed & fixed my check engine light which ended up being a fuel pump replacement so my car would pass smog which it did. Then I bought 4 new tires & alignment just in time for all the rain we’ve had this year. Even gone there for a simple oil change. My most recent visit was to replace a tire that had a large screw in it which was covered by the tire warranty. They are always very friendly, polite, helpful & explain what work is necessary. I see no reason to go anywhere else. They can do anything you need done!! Thank you NHTP&AC.

I’ve been to tire pros many times including get all brand new tires from them. Every single time I go it’s a terrible experience. No customer service. I go because it’s conveniently located for me but I will never be back. Don’t bother making appointments because they don’t care. Don’t listen to their time frames because you will wait for hours no matter what they say. It’s very disorganized.

I got a flat right before work and I called the Tire Pros on Watt Ave. And they told me they could get me in and out in under 40min and all for a low price of only 35$ to repair it and put the tire bk on and take off the spare. Awesome service too! They offered me coffee and water in their luxurious and comfortable waiting area with PLUSH reclining chairs and big screen tv while I waited. This shop was a fair shop up until about the end of 2021, when new management came in. It seems like the shop is putting extra tax on customers to support the shops new renovations or something. In the last two months I’ve paid over $1,700 for oil pan replacement, and radiator service. I am a honest and fair person, and much rather leave a positive review. Unfortunately this is not the case of the matter, I recommend don’t go there! but the choice is yours!

(Let’s just be honest)But on my first visit I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile by a young lady named Erin.The same woman I spoke with over the phone she was very familiar and knowledgeable about all services for your vehicle I was so impressed.She was also accompanied by Jeff the guy who left such an impression on my 5 yr old daughter she drew him a picture. I had tires replaced and the TPMS changed. The team there is very professional. They had issues with the TPMS system. I had to return a couple times to get it corrected but they were successful. I had my breaks go out completely in my SUV. Called them in the morning time to see if I could bring it in and when they could look at it. They let me know I could bring it in whenever but they probably wouldnt have an answer on what was wrong with it until the next day. Sure enough the next morning they called and let me know what was wrong with it, what parts Id need and that all the parts were available in town, the total price and he could start working on it today and would have it done by the next day. By 3:30 the next day it was done and ready to be picked up.

They are a bit pricey, but I understand that quality is not cheap. I called to see if they had any tire deals on four tires, the person on the phone asked what size is the tire and what type of car, he found the size and quoted me 700. for four tires out the door. I went in and let them know I had called and was quoted 700. But while looking to see something on the computer he asked the second person standing by about something, then after they finished talking he looks at me and says, Oh we dont have this tire size brand but we have another brand thats gonna be just around 20. dollars more. I knew something like this was gonna happen, I looked at him and laughed, somehow I knew once you get there theres always a snag, just a few dollars more 🤑 I just looked at him trying to explain I didnt say anything, the he says wait let me check and see if we have another brand at the same price which he did, so I agreed to get them at 700.

I I couldnt have been more disappointed in the service here. I could write an entire 3 pager regarding their poor service (smog tech)and stinky customer service (Malik), but after leaving I immediately contacted the BAR and the referee who smogged my vehicle, solved my issue, and followed up with the shop regarding the smog. What was more concerning was the phone call I made to tell them what my experience was before writing this review. I spoke with Fahad, who at first seemed interested to know what my experience was. He did listen to what I said but then started talking about how they were a minority owned business, why they had to raise their prices, and why the smog tech lectured me about risking his license, and then informed me that he didnt believe I was treated that way and informing me that they had cameras and he was going to check the video and prove I just wanted to complain. I was stunned and said well I appreciate your apology for my disappointing experience, then he became angry and said I didnt apologize to you. I said exactly, and hung up. If you are a woman, disabled and elderly I wouldnt go here, they see you, and have video to prove they didnt take advantage of you. And I guess being a minority owned business gives them the green flag to treat you any way they want?

And when I get here they are always polite and will give you the answers to what ever you ask about your car with good understanding by me. Friendly people but HIGHEST prices in town. We have lived a few blocks from Tire Pros for two years now, which meant convenient walking distance when we had car repairs. (We are a one vehicle family). Unfortunately, every repair has been over-priced compared to other shops in town, but due to convenience we continued going here. Then, we brought car in for a smog check and it failed due to the Catalytic Converter we had replaced a year ago no longer being acceptable for our make/model... (a horrible nightmare that is not Tire Pros fault). But, when we found a mechanic that could replace the CC for half the price, we took car there instead and returned to Tire Pros later in the day to have re-test done - but they were going to charge us AGAIN for another $60 smog test. WOW. When we called around to other star-certified smog centers, they all said they will do smog re-testing for FREE within a period of time. We are tired of Tire Pros astronomical prices and failure to bend for returning customers — they knew we had to unfairly fork out $500 to have ANOTHER Catalytic Converter replaced after only one year — they knew we had just paid $60 to them that morning for a smog check. And still, they insisted we would have to pay $55-$60 to have a retest that same day. (They said MAYBE they could give us $5 off but had not finalized that.)We will now go across town to another friendly mechanic with very reasonable prices, and take an Uber home when we need repairs done. But it’s worth it when we will save so much money on the services.

Erin at the front desk is friendly and very upbeat. Also very informative when I asked questions. I didnt meet the repairmen, but I was very satisfied with their work. Todays visit was for a STAR smog. Previously Ive purchased tires here and felt it was the best deal I found. Also, Ive had a repair on a bearing in the past. They stayed open after closing hours to finish the job even though we were just walk-in customers that afternoon. All positives here.

I was greeted promptly by Jeff upon entering their office. I liked that their work area had safety chains to ensure people dont walk in, its one of the first things I noticed upon arriving. Their office was ample and very clean.Jeff was very professional and personable.He quickly identified what I needed, a tire change, wasted no time in trying to upsell me any services, and then answered a few questions I had, clearly, honestly, and again although offering the services I was looking for, did not upsell me, which I appreciated.The work took a while, I came in mid afternoon without an appointment, but I was able to wait comfortably in their facility.While waiting, I was able to observe Jeff, proactively working, greeting and assisting customers, providing again the same great level of service to everyone. Once the tire change I needed was done, he quickly assisted me on getting me on my way, in a pleasant and personable manner.I would recommend this location to anybody.

A good friend of mine recommend Malik and his shop. I needed a 60k service on my Kia and NH Tire Pros quote was half the cost of Folsom Kia. This was a no brainer. Having only experienced the dealership, I had no idea what to expect... I was pleasantly surprised, as Malik and his shop was so much better than any dealership experience, I had to compare it to. May 2018So my car wasnt getting allot of power when I push on the gas and it shakes when driving, my check engine light was on so i take my car in I get charged $125 just to check the check engine light and $545 later my car is fixed. Im a bit upset because I recommended a few of my neighbors to the shop and when he took his car and he didnt get charged to check the check engine light but whatever my car is fixed. Next day I called to see how long a oil change would take I was told about 45min to 1hr so Im like coo but when I get there he tells me they will get to it in 45min and then it will be done 45min after that. So I will no longer be taking my cars here because they seem a bit money hungry but on a positive, they do get the work done right the first time

I was very impressed at the level of customer service I received from the staff at North Highlands Tire Pros during a recent visit. The TPMS light in my car was on and I didnt appear to have a flat or could see that there was anything puncturing my tires, so I knew I had to get my car checked out. This place came highly recommended from a friend.Right as I pulled up, I was greeted by Jeff, who asked how he could be of service to me. I explained my situation, which he then relayed to a tire technician. I was directed to the lobby as the technician took a closer look at my tires. Shortly after, I was notified that the alert was triggered because there was an imbalance with my tires. I had purchased 4 tires not that long ago from a different shop, and then returned to the same shop to replace my front driver side tire due to an accident. I trusted them so I didnt question the tire being sold me as a replacement. The technician pointed out that the tread depth and pattern on the replacement tire was so drastically different from my other tires that it was causing atypical wear and tear on the rest of my tires thus triggering the alert. I was disappointed at the quality of service the last shop provided me since I was regular patron. I was really thankful for the knowledgable staff at Tire Pros and will definitely be returning for future services!

Beware! My post is not about my experience with this business it is what I have learned about this business before I brought my car. I have a coupon for an oil change it clearly says $13.50! I called for an appointment EVEN after I read all the bad reviews... I was told over the phone my coupon is $13.50off any oil change. Theres several coupons on the same ad saying $$$ off BUT my oil change coupon does not have the word OFF anywhere on the coupon. I attached the coupon ad so you will be able to see for yourself .I feel like this place of business will try to sneak and get more money from you anyway they can without you knowing. I was saddened because I was interested in purchasing two sets of tires for both my vehicles. I have never did business with this tire company and I do not plan to! Just beware and ask questions if you plan to do business at this tire shop.

Ive done business with this place a few times and the old manager seemed to be real when it came to service. New guy let me get charged for a bulb replacement I didnt need and instead of fixing the real issue for free or crediting me for the work that didnt need to be done I got to pay for both services. They even explained the issue was a loose connector on the bulb but the tech made no mention of it or indicated the bulb ever worked. Double check work so you arent paying for services you dont need.

They took two and a half hours to perform a full synthetic oil change on my 2013 Civic. The waiting area was decent, they had a keurig but no K-cups, only a burnt pot of coffee on the coffee maker. I asked for the remote so I could turn on the tv. They never brought the remote despite saying they’d bring it in a moment. Half an hour later an employee comes over and puts on Our Planet on Netflix and keeps the remote. After being there for an hour and a half I requested an update on how long my car would take. The receptionist said she would check she didn’t get back to me until the car was ready an hour later. Overall it the customer service was subpar, I got an oil change though.

Pleasant ExperienceI was a first time customer so I didnt know what to expect and am pretty picky when it comes to people working on my car. After speaking with the receptionist and then the manager, my mind was set at ease. I was only there for a new set of tires. The waiting room has a large window so the customer can view the tire tech changing your tires. This way you know how he treats those high dollar rims you have. There were no problems at all and the tire tech treated my rims with tender loving care; well maybe not that gentle but he did use care as to not scratch them.If I have one negative it would be after I left the shop and on my way home the low tire pressure light on my dash came on. I pulled over to check that I didnt have a flat tire even though the tires were just installed and brand new. The tires looked fine and I continued home. When I got home I checked the air pressure in each tire. One of the tires had 3 psi less air than the other three tires. This caused the low tire pressure light to come on my dash. I have an air compressor in my garage and merely added air to the proper psi and that fixed the low air pressure light problem. While it was no big deal to me, it might be for someone with no ability to check or add air to the tire. So if theres someone from N. Highlands Tire Pro reading this: help your customers out by inflating all tires to the proper psi. By doing so, youll keep your customers coming back. If not, you risk losing customers and that means losing $$$...

Paid $70 for an oil change, drove to Idaho the next day and when I got there, realized my car was leaking oil. Had to spend another $35 dollars while in Idaho because this place failed to put my oil filter in correctly or tighten the drain plug. Thankfully I only lost one quart of oil, had I lost more it could have caused major issues to my engine. Will not be going back here and do not recommend.

I guess bribing customers with prices to write a good review works, because North Highlands Tire Pros does not do what they say and do half a$$ work so beware consumers.I brought a brand new set of tires to them for mount and balancing because the young lady informed me that it would be $100 on the phone when I called. This was the cheapest quote over the phone I had gotten (I guess its true you get what you pay for). I showed up for my appointment they got it on the lift and wheels pulled the young lady came out and informs me that she miss quoted me because she didnt know the tires were 35/12.50R20 and it will be $40 dollars more (I should of walked right then) so reluctantly I agreed. They proceeded to install the tires and I was observing them from the lobby. I never seen them balance the tires. When they said they were done I asked her if they balanced the tires because I never seen them do it. She said they do all the balancing at the other end of the shop and it was done. I took off and right way I know they were not balanced because the truck was shaking so bad that you couldnt see out the mirrors. I took it back first thing the next morning and told them it wasnt right so she said they would re-balance them right way. So the wife and I walked down the street and had breakfast when we came back the truck was still being worked on and we waited for over 1 hour before it was done. We took off and it was better but still had a bad vibration at 65 MPH.The truck isnt used a lot so I didnt want to spend another 1/2 day sitting in their lobby so I just lived with it for a few weeks.I just took the truck to American Tires and had them check it out. they wanted know who installed the tires because they didnt even balance the rear tires because there were ZERO weights and one of the fronts was over weighted by 2 oz. They balanced them all and the truck runs done the road as smooth as can be now.So if you made it through the story you will understand that North Highlands Tire Pros are dishonest and are fair from being TIRE PROS. They will convince you to come in then hike the price up and dont even do the work. Places like this that give repair shops a bad name.

Made an afternoon appointment a couple days in advance to get new tires put on.Long story short after waiting for an hour they lied to me because they were too busy at the time and didnt want to deal with me so they told me they couldnt get the caps of my tires to get to my lug nuts because they were too tight. I went home and took them off by hand, they were very loose. If they would of just told me the truth and said they were overwhelmed with customers it would of been fine but since they lied to me I picked up my tires and went elsewhere. Will never go back.

Tried to get me to pay an arm and a leg for an unnecessary repair when I went in for an alignment. I said I’d check it out myself and what do you know, when I checked it out there was nothing wrong. Ended up going to another shop and getting a great alignment done no problem for $55, whereas I had to pay these guys just to throw bs at me. I guess they just gotta eat somehow. If you own a bimmer, prepare yourself lol

How long is the normal time for a oil change. Well here it will take about a hour. I never had a oil change take this long. All the employees seem like they have nothing to do but stand around.NEVER coming back here
