My car was returned after service with many scratches and a damaged emblem. I was told the emblem will be ordered but will have to contact the service manager about the scratches. They refused to fix the scratches without the service managers approval. The service manager was made aware of my situation by the lady at the front desk that was helping me but he left the service center before I had a chance to talk to him. I was told to try reaching him on Monday when he will be back. Very disappointed they are not immediately recognizing the damaged they caused to my car and arent taking action to fix it.

The customer service rep who checked me in/out was very polite and nice. My husband commented that he is one that usually is. :D I am thankful a coupon I had for the service was honored without issue, also.I noticed the tire pressure wasnt checked or adjusted, after my tires were rotated, although the service ticket states it was.I know this only because after my previous oil change, the right rear tire had a higher psi than the rest (about 3-4 psi). After this current oil change and tire rotation, that tire is now in the front right and is still at a higher psi than the rest. Pic attached.One reason for the low rating is because I have cause to question what other services may not have been performed when I know one of them was not. Second, this would be the second instance the tire pressure may not have been checked or adjusted appropriately. Third, I did not think it reasonable to wait an hour and a half for an oil change service with an appointment. (I did arrive 15 minutes early.)

I had a great car shopping experience here. Very kind, professional, and honest. Sure, they tried their routine negotiation tactics of saying we dont have a deal but they soon called back and were willing to accept my offer that was $3k under their last offer. The process was very smooth. However, once you buy the car it will be impossible to reach them for anything outstanding. I am still waiting for them to email me my signed documents, I 100% would advise you to have them print it out right there instead of getting it emailed. And if there is anything wrong with the car drive back there immediately because you will not get anyone to call you back regarding any issues on a used car you purchased.

Definitely a 10/10 experience, everything was extremely fast and easy! Chris was a great help, even when I accidentally forgot my proof of Insurance at home. We were able to get it sent over email quickly and the process was incredibly speedy after this. Left the dealership after being there for only about 2 hours overall, I then got to drive my new car home. Quick and easy!

Very pleasant experience! Service took less time than anticipated which was a big plus. My car was washed and vacuumed… it looked so pretty. The service agent who helped me was very friendly and thorough. He not only explained today’s service, but what I could expect with the next service. I was very impressed overall! Very friendly and polite. Along with some recall work, I asked for an oil change. In fact, I originally made the appointment for just an oil change. When I received the recall notice, I called and asked if that could be taken care of also. When I dropped my vehicle, the service person asked if I wanted the 15K service. I asked what that entailed. He listed several things including the oil change.I said, no I do not need those things, just the oil change and recall work. When I picked it up, they had not done the oil change and the service person said, oh no you told me not to do oil change. I did not argue, but I know exactly what I said. I will find another place to do my oil changes. I do not want to name the person as he seems very nice.

Danny Q is my service manager. He listens well and is so helpful. Never any pressure to do any services, just great suggestions of how to accomplish the goals. Not just today but every day that I have taken my car in for service Danny has always taken good care of me! He has always shown care and concern for my car needs! He is honest, friendly, and genuine from the greeting at arrival to the goodbye with a thank you at departure. Great customer service is a rarity and he certainly could give a training course on it! Service is great. I was told about 2 1/2 hours to be done but not told the service department would have their lunch break (all of them) at 12:30. I was there for 4 1/2 hours! Living too far to be taken home was an ordeal for me.Adding to my review:I did not drive my car for 4 days after having serviced. When I pulled out of garage there was a large dark sticky area on the garage floor. It’s too dark and heavy to be oil. I’ve left a message with the service department as I could not get through. I live 40 minutes away and am worried about continuing to drive my car.

Had a good experience with the service and North County Kia. I had a shudder in my brakes, I brought the car in and within two hours, they had it diagnosed, replaced the brake rotors, and had it all covered warranty. Had a small issue with one of the recall fixes they did, but called them, they took the car immediately, had it back to me within 30 minutes and could not have been more apologetic for me having to come back. Will definitely bring my cars back here for service in the future. Thanks!!

I was a little hesitant as I’ve never owned a KIA before, Shoutout to Jose and Robert. They are experts at customer service and were awesome to deal with. Jose ensured he kept me updated along the way. He presented me my vehicle right after and covered everything that was completed. I purchased the limited edition EV-6 I wanted, but the leasing to buy experience was a bit more complicated than I would have liked. The $7500 off was reduced by fees associated with buying out the lease. Still at the end of the day, I paid around $5000 less than I would have if I had bought the vehicle outright. Ive had the vehicle serviced twice at North County Kia, and both times were delightfully fast and efficient experiences. I would buy another vehicle from them and would recommend them to my freinds and family.

Parked in front of dealership walked Thursday lobby no hi hello nothing went out other door to new cars. The only polite person was a man with a board of keys asked him where the hybrid cars he was helpful. I spent another 20 minutes looking at models.Odd the key Man asked upon my going to my car, can I get you more help. I said no Im good. What a odd place I will go elsewhere. Give the Key man a huge raise as he has more class manners than that lazy sales team.Very sad.

I took my K5 in last month for an oil service and maintenance. Jose suggested wheel alignment as well and I agreed. After it was completed and I drove off, I could feel that the car was pulling to the left more than when I brought it in. I should’ve turned around then, but I was on my way back to work. As we know, life is busy. I finally got it in today, Jose- was great!!! he took my car for a ride and said yes he noticed but the wheel alignment testing came back with everything in the green. He let me know that he rotated the two front tires to see if that makes a difference . Well, it did, it is driving so much better now! I gave them a 5-star rating one year ago. My second car service there was good too, but not the third.I visited them on 4/10/2024 to have regular service for my 2022 vehicle. I was told that all services done were manufacturer recommended and I also paid for oil change and tire rotation. Based on the trust on the company I did not check the service details on spot. However, when I got home, I found that they charged me $193.95 for a fuel/air induction system clean up service which I did not ask for, nor it is a manufacturer recommended service. This service should only be performed on a high mileage vehicle (over 60000 miles) or when problems are found. Mine is only 16381 miles and runs perfectly, and that is no reason to do that on my car.I email them to complaint and got this reply: “I have attached the maintenance schedule for your vehicle that you can find a copy of in your owner’s manual. You will find that fuel additives are needed every 6k, the way we do them at our store is a 3-part system cleaning that we do every 15k.” What? They tried to mislead me that adding a $10 fuel additive equal to a $193.95 fuel/air induction system clean up service which is totally unnecessary. The fact that they included such service in their standard schedule doesnt make it right or legit. That only means that they can rip off unaware customers multiple times.They offered me two next free oil changes but I did not accept. I have lost faith on them. You won’t visit a doctor again if he performed unnecessary procedures on you just for more money.You have been warned.

This is a dealership that really cares! After experiencing some issues with my Kia Optima, I had a diagnostic test done which revealed that I needed a new hybrid battery. Thankfully, the battery was still under warranty, so there was no charge. They even graciously waived the $180 diagnostic test fee and set me up with a beautiful loaner, also at no charge. I can’t say enough good things about this dealership. I told them I will be their forever customer❣️

Theyve never tried to push me to make anything other than what you go in for and always get me out a little quicker than they estimate. This latest time, I was helped by Victor Martinez, who went over some options and gladly accepted a coupon or brought in. I had an appointment at 8am on a Saturday morning and needless to say, it was already busy at 8am. Victor checked me in and said it’d be about an hour and half to change out my light bulb for my high mounted brake light. He offered a ride, but I decided to stay watch tv in their clean waiting area. He later informed me that they were just going to change the light bulb for me at no cost. Free 99!! and my car was ready within 30 minutes. As someone who works in the customer service industry, customer service is HUGE for me. it can really make or break a company and Victor exhibited excellent customer service today. I bought my 2018 Kia Soul at North County Kia just under a year ago. That car had to be, by far, my favorite car. I get a call to trade it in so my husband said to see what it’s worth and maybe we will find something better.I met Ben and he allowed me to test drive the ONE Kia Soul that was left- 2020- and I was sold from the second I looked at it. Ben made the entire process very easy and even fun to be honest. He was very personable, friendly, and really informative. Made buying my car super easy.Then Mike Rahmani finished up all of the paperwork and made sure everything was ready for me. I set an appointment to have a recall addressed on my 2016 K900. NCK did not have parts available at the time of my appointment. So why was I there? This demonstrates a lack of respect for my time and curious lack of efficiency in NCK operations. Service staff not big on communication. Now I am waiting for parts to arrive but have no ideal when that will be or if I will be contacted when the parts arrive. Will it be two or three more weeks for an appointment? I certainly dont know.

Im glad my car got the oil change done, I just hope it got done right since I didn’t receive a multipoint inspection report after being done. They verbally told me my rear brakes were not good anymore but on the “oil reminder sticker” they marked it off as “green” meaning they’re good ! Other than that I liked how they washed my car after service being done .

I had a very pleasant experience purchasing my car with him!However, I’d much rather give 1 star due to the used auto mechanic. Saul is very rude, condescending and will absolutely make you feel stupid if you have any concerns or questions. So good luck if you’re a female and have to deal with him!

My first service (oil change, tire rotation) came at a reasonable price but took twice as long (105 minutes) as other places. If they’re going to have my PHEV for so long, the least they could have done was to charge it. The appointment was right after lunch, in the middle of the day. As such, I had to take PTO; it cost me more in Personal Time Off than it did for the service. The buying experience from a different dealer was similar: five hours to buy a car—they just don’t seem to value my time. I love the car, but won’t be taking it back to a Kia dealer.

I had a great experience buying my new 2023 Kia Soul S model. My salesperson Christina was the best! She explained all the features and helped me set everything up including the phone app which is easy to use and very convenient. They work as a team so everything went smoothly and I didn’t feel any pressure along the way. I received the exact car I chose and it was clean inside and out. I expected to have even a little remorse for such a big purchase or feel uncomfortable with all the new gadgets in the car, but it’s only been positive and I’m absolutely loving the car. I will never ever take my car to this dealership to get serviced.I was never informed that the service department closed at a specific time different than the actual dealership and would have to picked up BEFORE the service department closing time.I arrived to pick up my car at 3:30 pm, (service department closed at 2pm) the dealership closed at 7pm for reference.The manager told me I would not be allowed to get my car. Basically told me too bad. My service appointment was on Saturday and they would be closed Sunday and Monday due to the holiday. I was supposed to be without my car until Tuesday. I only got my car after I made a big deal about it— and even after that he was very rude. He had to take a copy of my credit card for $25! And told me to call Tuesday to make sure they charged me. Called in for 2 recalls, which only one could be accomplished. No word on when the fix to the second recall. Got a quote to replace spark plugs and change a belt. Quoted over $500. That’s after paying $180 for diagnostics. Got it done for $169. Big difference. The whole attitude with those I spoke to at Kia was very cavalier and dismissive. I was planning on buying a new car in January at this location, but that’s not happening now.

Took 2022 Kia Sorrento in cause the start stop would not start back up at lights/stop signs every time so I would have to turn the ignition off every single time it acts up. This probably was my 2nd to 3rd appointment, my first appointment they just said completely it’s not acting up and sent my girl on her way, maybe the second time the shop manager came out and he let me show him what the problem was which he stated was not a common issue and saw it with his own eyeballs, he persisted on having a tech see it but I had no time that day so I set an appointment, the following appointment was at 1pm (mind you the supervisor told me to bring the car not my gf cause I’m the one who seems to know the trick to get the car to act up, it’s as soon as you come to a stop and the engine turns off if you let go of the brake too fast that’s when it doesn’t wanna start back up EVERY SINGLE TIME, times where it’s a red light and suddenly turns greens or at a stop sign I’ll have to RESTART THE CAR EVERYSINGLE TIME), sitting in the waiting room for hours to learn that the tech and supervisor were on the test drive then comes back to me saying it’s not shutting off at all(cause I’m sure they disconnected the battery to test it so it reset the parameters cause the next day after driving it the start stop was working but still having that issue of not wanting to start), even though he told me he wanted me to show them so it won’t waste anyone’s time 😂 but there I am 1-4, and they still couldn’t figure it out(mind you this has been happening since we received the car) pretty much going in circles and no real progress.On the side note If the supervisor had seen it with his own eyes I don’t see why another tech has to see it and waste my time when he already saw it and I have plenty of videos of it helplessly trying to start on it’s own again at a light.(I’m no mechanic but if I had the knowledge maybe I’d check the start/stop system or something that has to do with it like maybe a the starter or just some effort into it, instead of brushing it off like it’s not doing it at all or call someone higher or with more knowledge at the job and get suggestions to atleast try and get to the bottom of it) but just say I show a tech and him at the same time what’s the difference is that gonna make are they gonna make me show another tech after that ? And another ? I just don’t see the point when they already seen it and I’m showing them videosin conclusion the way they diagnose things is waste ur gas and time go in circles even though the actual shop manager seen it with his own eyes with tons of videos showing myself stuck at lights and stop signs with the car cranking but not fully starting. It’s almost like they do this so they don’t have to deal with it. It’s frustrating. And sadly I’ll have to come back since this is the closest Kia near me and have to play the circle game till it gets figured out. I told him I have some questions about all the options on my car. I came to the dealership & he sat down with me in my car & went over every option my K5 is equipped to do. He was extremely patient with me. I am somewhat old school & afraid to touch buttons that I am unfamiliar with. I am a hands on person & need to actually touch the options to make them work in order for me to feel comfortable using the options. He spent as much time as I needed without rushing me. The service department is great, my car is burning oil like so many other Kia’s from 2017 plus several years after that. Kia Corp is aware that there is a problem. They will not even consider doing anything unless you do all their consumption testing, even at 56,000 miles Kia states that burning a Qt of oil every 1000 miles is normal. Wrong, don’t waste your money . We have 2 Toyotas, both with over 100,000 mile, neither is burning a drop of oil . I’ve bought 2 Kia’s in the past, was going to buy another, but NOT now.

Purchased a brand new Kia and the Apple Car Play wouldn’t work properly; it would constantly disconnect or the touch screen wouldn’t work. Called Kia of Escondido service and was told there was over a 10 week wait for a service appointment; there were just not enough Kia technicians in the county. As I was scheduling the appointment, the Kia representative mentioned that Kia is aware of the Apple Car Play issue so they would need to run “diagnostics,” etc. when the car was brought in for service. My teenage son took the car to the dealership on the day of the service. After a two hour wait, he was told by the technician that he drove the car “around the block” and the Car Play was working properly. The technician was so kind to “top off the fluids” and sent my son on his way. Shockingly, the Car Play stopped working a mile from the dealership. I attempted to reach Kia by phone and no one would pick up. I called back again and had to leave a message. Has anyone from Kia called me back? Nope.

I do not recommend North County Kia for sales and especially not for service. They took five days to complete a four hour job. They ordered the wrong parts and they didn’t even complete everything that was on the original work order. I had another mechanic check the work, and it was extremely subpar. Dealing with the service agents, you’re going to be met with negative tone and zero compassion or empathy especially if you have to wait five days on what they told you was a four hour job. Their prices are not competitive and the service agents aren’t able to explain a simple brake job and what it entails. Hopefully you do not have to speak with the service manager either because I have now waited over three days for a return phone call and haven’t received anything at all. At one point I used to give a tip to the service agents and to the repair individual who worked on my car, and even the guy who washed my car at the end. I even brought them fresh fruit one day just because they were so friendly. I was over three years ago. A lot has changed. If you enjoy people treating you like you don’t matter as a customer or human being, this is the place for you. If you prefer a more positive and honest experience, purchase your car and get the service done elsewhere. That’s my 2 cents. Cheers

I did wait two and a half hours and then my car was ready and things went smoothly from there on out.Edit1/25/24 Took car in for another recall. My check engine light had gone on a few days earlier so I asked them to check the code and tell me the problem. They wanted to charge me $180. I said no and went to Auto Zone who did it for nothing. Turns out its a misfiring spark plug. Glad I saved the $180! The recall went fine, except for losing my valuable time.

We went into Kia to trade in a 2016 Sorrento for a 2021 Sorrento. We met with Christian and he showed us what they had on the lot. He was very knowledgeable about each trim package and he was able to help us narrow down a Sorrento with features we wanted and needed as a family. Only problem was that particular model wasnt available. We were kinda bummed but Christian told us he will try to find exactly what we wanted if we give him some time. For the rest of the day he looked but wasnt able to find it. He kept us informed and I know he was trying his best. So we decided to give him a couple of days to work on it. Well 24hrs after our first visit to the lot he calls us excited 😆. He says he has exactly what we wanted and sends us a video of the car. Im happy to say it was exactly what we wanted and at the price we wanted. Christian worked so hard and we knew him and the Kia staff were fighting for us. As a prospective customer, I expected transparency and fair treatment. On 8/27/2023 I went to Kia and inquired about leasing Sorrento, the sales manager point blank refused to provide a ballpark monthly payment without a credit application. I made it clear I only wanted a general quote, as this was the first dealership I visited. However, he claimed the bank needed to see my application first in order to determine the payment. Having spent 6 years in the auto industry myself, I know this is simply not true. The dealer structures the deal and then submits it to the bank for approval. The credit application is not required for a basic lease quote. By lying about this policy, the sales manager was clearly using high-pressure, dishonest tactics to get my personal information before I was ready to commit. Despite explaining I only wanted a ballpark figure to see if the Sorrento fit my budget, he continued to insist I complete the application first. That honestly made me uncomfortable, as it was evident he cared more about getting my information than addressing my needs. I left without even a general idea of the lease payment, because I opted out of submitting an application just to get a quote. This experience demonstrated that the dealership seems more interested in taking advantage of customers than building trust and meeting expectations. Customers should be able to inquire about pricing without high-pressure tactics.

Today is Tuesday, 11/14/23. As I write this review...just wanted to make it clear of the customer service I received from north county Kia, Escondido. I had a bad experience with them awhile back after moving to Escondido about two years. The service agent was not kind and compassionate. I vowed not to go there ever again. They are less 1-2 miles away from my home. But I thought Id go there again and this time regrets again. On 11/6... The service was not good at all. I brought my car in for a particular Kia recall. They had the vehicle in the shop 5-6 hours and never did what was supposed to be done. It was made clear at the point of contact first thing 8am. I also had paper work to show. When they call to let me know 5 hours later. I went to pick up the car and asked what work was completed they gave me the after report and it showed check tire pressure and...the recall part of the hitch tail end of vehicle. I DO NOT HAVE A HITCH ON THE BACK OF VEHICLE. Initially vehicle was brought in to do something else other than the work supposedly done. I confronted them and ask about the headlights. They didnt even look at. They had a technician look again and told me they had to order parts for it. This is Tuesday and it was supposed to be in by Friday. They would reach out to me to come by service and it would be done. No calls, no calls, no calls.1 week later i call them and follow up and they said oh the part is here now. They scheduled me for today 11/14 and I had CANCELLED THE APPOINTMENT. I would rather take my car elsewhere to a more reputable dealer ship 20 miles away and NOT WORRY THAT MY ENGINE WILL.BE TAMPERED WITH. Seriously concerned. I had service with another KIA dealership and all went very very well. It was Even worth waiting for service department to.order the part and have it done right. I received invoice of all that was done to the vehicle. Please if you do want to have an additional engine car issues with a perfectly fine working vehicle...Do Not go to North County Kia...they dont care about you and your vehicle. Service with a Fake smile and you turn-around your back and they talk about you!!! No good! Very dissatisfied.

Took my EV6 to North County KIA because the dealership where I reside didn’t have enough EV trained technicians. Jose Ibarra was courteous and accommodating. Was honest in saying it might take 2 weeks before the part will arrive since it’s out of stock. But I was pleasantly surprised that the part arrived way early as expected and my car was ready for pick up after 3 days. I maybe have been just lucky to have the part available right away. Nevertheless, Jose took care of me with utmost professionalism. Thank you, Jose and North County Kia of Escondido!! My wifes 2017 Sorrentos battery would drain after 48 hours. We brought it in and we were told we would pay 150.00 for the diagnosis. Then the service department took it upon themselves to tear into the car without our permission and charged us an additional 450.00. When I challenged this I was told it was necessary to know what the problem was despite already being told it was switch. O was then quoted 2300.00 to fix what was a manufacturing defect on your part. After a 100.00 discount I was forced to pay the balance to get my vehicle back. Poor communication and bad customer service. Ill never use your service again. Ill take my car to a independent mechanic.

Daniel was fantastic! Explained everything before they were to work on the 60k service. My air-conditioning had stopped working. He kept me updated on the various things and although some things are working the tech is having to hunt.Daniel even washed the car for me since it took a little past closing to complete the new brakes installation. I went over many listing on the bill and Im comfortable with it eventhough $1491.88 is a lot of money. Id recommend NCKia!

I purchased a car from North County Kia a little over a month ago (which was a very pleasant experience). I am providing two stars due to the professionalism that I received when I purchased my car. I also would like to note that my car salesman has helped as much as he can throughout this process and I am rather upset with the service department. I noticed right after purchasing the vehicle that the paint begun to peel on my back bumper. I originally reached out about this issue on 9/3/23, shortly after I got the car. I was told immediately that either Kias detailers or service department could repair this for me (free of charge and that it is under warranty). I was told by my car salesman that service would call me the week of 9/7/23, however I never received a call. I then called service and left a voicemail (never got a call back). I then followed up again and had a very rude employee over the phone (nothing was able to be scheduled?). I reached out to my car salesman informing him that service never called me. I even went in person to the service desk and was promised by the receptionist that she would call me the next day after speaking with her manager (I never got a call). I was called by my car salesman on 9/15/23 and was told that this repair would be fixed and that my entire car would need to be painted and that a loaner car would become available (and that this service is free of charge/ covered under warranty). It has been over 2 weeks and I have heard nothing. I sent a message to the cars salesman on 9/24/23 following up and never heard back. I recently called and left a voicemail for the service department requesting a call back. My pleasant experience at North County Kia has now become rather bothersome, and I am disappointed in the once pleasant customer service I received. I really did not want to write this review, but at this point it may be the only way to get this appointment scheduled.

I bought a new car 3 years ago. I was promised my first set of tires would be free. Well now that I call so they can honor that promise, the manager keeps saying tires arnt free. I keep asking her if they aren’t going to honor the promise they made and she keeps changing the subject ect. Then without letting me know she put me on hold for 14 minutes. I tried calling back and now they aren’t answering my call.These people are lyers! They promised me a lifetime warranty so I was hooked! The warenty says 10 years or 100k miles. Buyer beware. Test drove a used Camry with the sales rep present in the car, brought it up to highway speeds and the car shook during braking denoting some sort of mechanic issue (probably misaligned brake rotors). Rep initially played dumb like he didnt feel it, assured me it undergoes rigorous inspection but couldnt tell me any specifics about what kind of inspections/tests . I expressed interest in the car still so long as they fixed the obvious issue, told me hed send it to their shop to get checked out and will call me next day. I never received a call back, but I did get texts about offers on other cars on their lot they thought I would like. The Camry is still up for sale on their site and still havent heard back. All of it smelled fishy to me, so just watch yourself.

I felt really great working with Robert the service manager and Daniel . Robert spent at least 30 minutes with me via phone talking about my car and troubleshooting and helping me understand. He didn’t mind at all being specific and listening and educating which is very important to me because I like to know my vehicles and understand what is being done to it. He went the extra miles to find out from another Kia dealer my car history so he could fully know what had been done and then helped me make some informed decisions about my car. With the car shortage Kia feels it’s appropriate to tack on thousands of dollars worth of NON-OPTIONAL accessories that they do not advertise or list on the window sticker. If you go in expecting to pay the advertised price plus tax, title, and license, you will be disappointed. I was able to reduce the cost of those accessories to just $395 but not until after I had a heated discussion with the manager and walking out.Attached is a photo of a sticker with these non-optional accessories that was on another car. This sticker was not on the car I originally test drove nor the car I eventually bought. The featured had not yet been added to the car I bought but was told they were going to add them anyway even after I asked them not to.Though aside from the heated discussion with the manager, the sales person was actually quite nice and accommodating and the finance guy was very patient and up front. It’s just that no one likes to be blind-sided with surprise mandatory accessories.

I made an appointment for an oil change and to try to get my recall completed. I first tried in October 22 for the recall but no one returned my messages if parts were available. My service was completed but as I left the center my drivers side mirror plate fell out. I immediately took my car back to the service center and no one was able to help. It would be 4 days before a service manager could talk to me and no one was available or able to help. I understand that the mirror wouldnt have been damaged on purpose, but they should not just fall out. It was so disheartening to feel like i was just being ignore or pushed aside.Eventually an individual from aftermarket parts said they could order a mirror plate replacement. I still have to wait, but at least it was something. I think Kia should investigate the mirror falling out as a potential recall. And they should look into setting up a backup system for when a manager is out for a time. I would hate for any other customer to have the same poor experience.

I was disappointed with my last service. I had to reschedule a couple times because my schedule at work changed and I was told I couldnt drop my car off 1 to 2 hours later. Some how they were so booked I had to move the appointment to a week later both times. Apparently, when I had to change it the last time, whoever I spoke to didnt actually change it to the time I had calendered after making the call. I arrived only to find out i didnt have an appointment. But, they took me anyway. Guess they were finally not so booked! I got conflicting opinions as to what service was due. According to my Kia app my car was already given its 15000 mile service when I brought it in last year at 5000 miles?? Now my car was at 16000 miles and they said I needed it again because they only did an oil change and tire rotation last time. So which was it? I was told multiple times that my two front tires needed to be replaced, so they didnt ROTATE my tires... but Im only at 16000 miles. How is that possible? I was told that they dont put very good tires on new cars anymore and they dont last as long so they need to be changed sooner because they dont last as long... are you kidding me?? Now i dont feel I can trust them. I havent pulled out my contract yet but I dont feel like i was given the facts about the tires. I have a friend that works at a car dealership and they also confirmed that that didnt sound right. I still gave 2 stars because the staff was friendly when I checked in and I appreciated the Lyft rides. But, Ill probably look for a different place to take my car if all Im going to get is oil changes and Im not getting any service under any warranty.

There were issues ommumicating with me and starting the service on my vehicle. I dropped the car off the evening before due to my work schedule, indicated the service that had been agreed, and signed the document. I called NC Kia when the service was supposed to commence, and there was no indication that there was a problem starting my service. When I called back when the service should be completed, I was informed that it had NOT commenced because the serbice manager had talked with me. My wife was going to pick up the car which she needed for medical appointments that afternoon. Horrible customer service. Service adviser Virgina was rude and unfriendly. She didn’t know how to answer any service questions. She had to keep asking her coworkers for help. Kia of Escondido didn’t fix my tire issue. I was told they didn’t do it and recommended I go to discount tire. Why wouldn’t they have told me this before I towed my vehicle to the dealership. This dealership is shady. They flat out lied to me on purchase about a discount I should have received. Told me they removed tax to cover this. Leased cars don’t have tax. The management response was that this employee has done this before. They gave me a free tire rotation / oil change for 3 years. Not even close to the 3800 dollars the discount was for. Now every time we go in for service appointments they never seem to have a clue why we are there. Just try to sell services not needed. Buyer beware !!

I have been coming to Kia Escondido. I can tell you that I am very pleased to have them work on my vehicles. Victor is an amazing person to work with. Victor goes beyond to make sure everything is run smooth thru the whole process. My car broke down came in the morning. Victor said pull it up and will get it checked in no appointment. I had to turn in a leased jeep which should have been a very easy process but was proven to be extremely difficult through the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealerships. After 3 weeks of trying to turn in my jeep I was ready to give up. I went to Kia for help, and within 24 hours my Jeep was gone!!! I seriously couldn’t thank the guys at North County Kia any more. Wasted time. when I explained my situation with buying a car and asked for a test drive, the manager said “why should I do a test drive for you if you still won’t buy a car from me. ultimately refused to test drive, arguing that they needed insurance for my car, which I did not have with me. the employee independently decided for me that I would not buy a car and did not try to do anything, even calculate the cost. except for imposed services like “windshield protection” and other options that you cannot refuse for 4 thousand in this salon, I did not recognize. I thought that when I contacted Toyota in Poway I encountered bad service, but you will fight for the first place with them. dont waste your time going there. I hope my review helps someone

The customer service was terrible. Victor was extremely rude condescending and confrontational. They tried to charge me $80 for a l turn signal change. I ended up having to talk to the manager to try to find out what was going on. They gave me my car back and they ordered a sensor for the back tire. Then I heard a female manager talking in front of customers about a previous customer saying that she was blonde and she had gone 60,000 mi without changing The oil and she was a complete idiot and making fun of her. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. The level of customer service and appropriate behavior was at a zero. They did change my oil but I will probably never go back to this Kia because of this unprofessional bottom barrel behavior.

It took 8 minutes for someone to speak with me after standing at the service desk. The repairs were expensive but they took the car in without an appointment 👍I forgot to ask for the old spark plugs so I called and had someone relay the message. Unfortunately nobody showed me the old spark plugs 👎 The repairs were done quickly and Im just glad to have my car back. Hopefully everything is good now.
