Nordstroms shoe department located within UTC mall is very trendy, and there are sales to be had. Sales associates are not a hardsell, in fact, it was difficult locating a sales associate to assist.

I am happy with my purchase from this store but the experience is what kills it for me. I have only had issues with the fine jewelry department. The older women in this department have always been disrespectful when it comes to purchasing. I recently purchased something with Margo and this is how I noticed the pattern from a year prior when another lady had given me attitude. They’re nice to you when you’re looking to buy something and once you have your card out, the facade fades and the attitude comes out. I am on the younger side but I’ve noticed that when I come with my mom, the attitude is different. If age has something to do with this attitude problem, I don’t know but I would prefer to receive kindness regardless. If I would ask a question, they respond with disgust and laugh as if they see me as below them. You’re a salesperson, not a princess. Every time I have left the jewelry section, I have always left upset because of how the saleswomen act.

Simple and elegant place.The menu has excellent selection of salads. Prices are reasonable. The ambiance is very relaxing.

I was visiting my mother for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, my luggage was lost. As she lives across the street from Nordstrom, I decided to walk across and go shopping for basic stuff... starting with underwear and brasI need to give a shout-out to Lynn, in the lingerie department. She was above and beyond helpful in helping me to find and replace the items I needed. Her attention to detail and customer needs is superb. Thank you, Lynn!

The blonde woman working at the register near the vuori section was not only unhelpful when I asked her where the bra department was, but she was also scoffing at my autistic daughter who was standing there quietly.

Super great customer service! Dan was amazing and so helpful and kind. his great fashion advice helped me decide between the different color I was debating between. never had a bad experience while here! highly recommend this location for its employees and wide selection of shoes, perfume, and clothes!

If I could give less than one star I would, as they say. I brought my aunt into the store yesterday as she is terminally ill with cancer and wanted to pick out a necklace to wear for her final viewing. This was a very difficult day for us, to say the least. It was filled with a lot of bitter sweet moments and fond memories we shared during lunch. We entered the store by the makeup and walked towards the jewelry section. There were several woman standing around who worked there, but not one asked us if we needed any help or approached us. Several times we had to ask someone if they worked there and when they said yes, they seemed anything but willing to help us. My aunt had several questions about different pieces and when she asked one women to open up a glass container containing a necklace she was interested in purchasing, the woman said she didnt know where the key was. At one point I saw my aunts eyes start to water as I knew she had hoped this would be a meaningful experience, but instead felt the extreme disrespect and lack of care or interest by every single woman there working. All they were doing was talking to one another and starring at us, a few times whispering and looking our way, perhaps of my aunts appearance who is very obviously battling a life threatening illness. I picked up a pair of earrings and was looking at them and asked someone named Margo if the earrings also came in silver to which she replied. I dont know, but no one wants those so Im getting ready to send them down to Nordstrom Rack if you want to save me the time. Oddly this made me not want them either, thinking perhaps their was a default with them and being unsure what she meant by this.At the end of our time there (about 30 minutes total), we left without purchasing anything. My aunt had set aside a few thousand dollars for this shopping trip and had hoped to also find some matching earrings and an outfit to be buried in. Our trip to Nordstrom that afternoon could have been something I remembered for the rest of my life with fondness, but instead due solely to the judgmental, snobbish attitudes of all the women who worked there, it was a memory I would like to soon forget. I will never, ever step foot back in this store again or any Nordstrom for that matter, or purchase online. If this is how this franchise wants to be known, its not somewhere I want to support. To every woman who worked in that department yesterday, you should be ashamed of yourself. You know who you are and you know how you treated us, and I wouldnt wish such poor, disrespected, rude behavior to anyone in your own families, especially someone with just weeks left to live. You could have made in positive difference in someone’s lives, but instead you choose to act as though you couldnt be bothered and you were better than. Youre not, and at the end of the day we are mostly the sum of how you make others feel.

I’ve been here countless times and almost everytime I have a bad experience.My friend and I were looking to buy a belt. We were browsing the mens designer belts that are locked and we needed to try them on for size. I looked around for help only got glances or stares. I started walking around to ask for help and even went to the second floor but only found unapproachable unavailable employees mostly on their phones. We were about to leave and go to another store when a salesperson who seemed to just arrive on the floor finally approached us. It took almost 30 minutes just to find someone to help us on a quiet day.Another time my boyfriend and I were shopping in menswear for about an hour, and no one once greeted us or asked if we needed help. But I could hear the 3-4 salespeople on the floor greet and help other customers. The only help we got was when I asked for someone to open a fitting room.The other day, I came in to make a return. I don’t know if there is a service bar/customer experience anymore but I went to the register in front of order pickup on the second floor assuming that’s the service bar. There was no line, only one other customer who was picking up. 2-3 employees at order pickup were talking amongst themselves watching me standing there waiting at the register. after standing there for quite a while Athena finally asked me “Do you need help?”. I say I have returns and the first thing she tells me is “You can return at any register.” I know that. Is that register not “any register” ? That’s the only thing she said to me while processing my returns. Rude and condescending.As someone who’s worked in retail and has been a cardholder since 99, the service at this Nordstrom location is horrible. I am not a needy customer nor do I expect much. But the fact I come here multiple times and don’t even get somewhat decent service or something as simple as a greeting when I’m in the store shopping says a lot and is ironic for Nordstrom. It sucks to see employees greet everyone except you, and not being able to find help when you need it. From my experiences It feels like if you don’t look like you’re going to spend money you won’t even be acknowledged at this store. I know most employees work on commission and don’t want to waste their time, but please put the judgement away and do better.

04/21/2024 around 5pm me and my partner went in mainly for formal slacks & to browse. once we got to the formal men’s section, immediately we were being stared at by the 3 women employees. as we’re now browsing with 2 items in my partners arm, an older woman approached us who was wearing a pink shirt & tan hat, instead of asking if we needed help with anything but to HOLD our items in the dressing room???? and then to top it all off she stares & waits for us by the cash register to check us out. NEVER expected to be racially profiled in a Nordstrom IN A WELL DIVERSE AREA as well as being in 2024. Name on my receipt: Raffaella M.

I had a bad experience with their personal shopping team. I am a size extra large in dresses and I needed some good clothes for a headshot photo shoot. Was told that they can’t help me because I’m plus sized and they don’t carry enough, which apparently to them is an extra large. Pretty disgraceful and I was willing to spend $500 on a dress. I ended up spending over $1000 to find what I needed at MM Lafleur. I suggest stating you don’t help plus sized people on your personal shopping page so I didn’t have to waste my time. What’s more, they used to have a plus size department and they decided to get rid of it! I guess we’re not congruent to their brand!
