Great people and amazing service. They take pride in their work and it shows.Had a pretty extensive job done on my ‘17 RAM 3500 for an oil leak. Team was detailed in explaining where it was coming from and took care of it timely. Communication is key for me and that’s something they did well. If you have a diesel truck needing any sort of service or repair I wouldn’t look anywhere else! I brought my 1992 Dodge W250 (First Gen Cummins) in after it wouldn’t start to have it diagnosed/repaired. It turned out to be a bad injection pump so they recommended I have it sent out to be rebuilt. I figured I would have a few more things done to my truck that I’ve wanted to do while it was in the shop so after the freshly rebuilt/upgraded injection pump came back in, I had a full 4in exhaust installed along with new injectors, killer dowel pin repair, new front main seal, new belt, an oil change, and new filters. It took almost two months to get everything done and cost a pretty penny but good work isn’t cheap and cheap work isn’t good. With that being said they have a very fair labor rate compared to other diesel shops. Juan (the owner) is an awesome guy! He was very honest, professional, and kept me up to date throughout the whole process. My truck is running perfectly now and is so much more fun to drive after all the upgrades! Thank you Juan and the NorCal diesel team for taking care of the First Gen!

Great customer service !! I sent a customer from ET QULITY RV with check engine light on after battery replacement. Juan took my customer in the next morning took care of engine light while they waited and sent them on there way with no charge. I took my 6.0 with a partial bullet proof job done from another non certified diesel shop. I gave Juan my receipts and asked him to give an estimate for a fully bullet proofed job. The price was more than fair and his professionalism and friendliness is outstanding. Way better service than I received from the other place and he called me when he said he would, not many shops do that. Upon completion of my truck the drive home was like I had just bought a new truck. I had some extra little requests (checks and preventive maintenance) done and he didnt charge extra. Juan has earned another loyal customer with me and my wifes diesel is going in next. If you have a big enough job you will become a custom drink cup holder. I drove a friend in to get his truck fixed and my starter went out on my Jeep 1993. Although they dont work on Jeeps, they knew that the only ride home for my friend was my Jeep, so they installed a starter on the spot. They are friendly, problem solving people with good attitudes. We were driving through, on our way to moving to Texas and after siskiyou pass our truck started breaking down. They were very helpful and quick on getting our truck fixed, leaving to go get the part so we didn’t have to wait too long. They got it fixed very quickly and were extremely affordable. Super nice and chill. If we ever needed to use a diesel shop again in North Cal it would be them! :)

Nick, at NorCal, California location was great to work with. I’ve done lots of online business and make my living with the finer diesel things in life. Nick was very helpful and was on top of making sure my products would get delivered on time. It’s always nice when employees go the extra mile to help you get the correct parts. I will absolutely use NorCal again, Nick’s customer service was on point, in a competitive aftermarket parts market that goes a heck of a long way. I’d rather spend a few more dollars and get good help than put up with incompetence, none of which I experienced at NorCal. Juan the owner, really went above and beyond to help us out. We are so grateful that we crossed paths with him. We are a fire engine crew that it currently fighting the Dixie fire. Unfortunately, our truck lost a shock on the fireline. After an unsuccessful hour of calling various shops for parts and service on a weekend, we gave NorCal Diesel a call. Within the hour Juan tracked down the part and told us he could install it that same day. When we arrived at the shop, we found out that a bolt was missing. Juan helped us track down a bolt using his own personal vehicle and valuable time. Once the bolt was found, he installed the shock and had us back on the road, ready for our next shift. Mind you, this guy was already swamped with work and working major overtime. Truly, a compassionate and amazing person all around. I cannot recommend them enough and wish them all the best.

Juan and his guys are the best, hands down. Theyre fair, honest and they know their stuff! I had heard from multiple people this was the only diesel shop they take their trucks to and now I know why! I took my 7.3 Excursion in for a check engine light, rough starting issue (romp) and a turn signal that wouldnt work. Within 3 hours of dropping it off they called and said they found some rodent chewed wires, sent me pictures and said they could re-solder and make the repair without having to replace the harness. By 2pm same day Adrian called to say he was done! I am happy to know I now have an honest shop to take my truck into for any future issues and appreciate theyre professionalism and great customer service. Would highly recommend Nor Cal Diesel to anyone looking for a diesel repair shop, they will take care of you!!

Juan the owner of NorCal Diesel is amazing! His place is easy to find, good parking, very clean waiting area. I took my Volkswagen Passat to Juan for an engine light, no a/c, and tire pressure sensor light. He diagnosed it all and changed a fuse for my a/c for free! Guess what?! I finally have a/c! I have not had a/c for 5 years in my car. I have taken my car to many mechanics and have been hassled over. I have finally found a mechanic in town to take my vehicle too. Highly recommend NorCal Diesel!

I went in to NorCal diesel to have my EGR bullet proofed and oil cooler bullet proofed while working on my 6.0 Juan notice that several of my fuel injecters were going bad so I had them change those out along with the Hpop. Jaun and his team did an amazing job of putting my truck back together. They were fast, knowledgable, honest, more than reasonably priced and did impeccable work. If you own a diesel and want the absolute best work done in a timely manner this is the place for you.

I just made this exact post on Yelp but want to make sure my review is seen everywhere :)I had just serviced my truck where I live in Santa Cruz. I had been evacuated and came out to Yuba/Oroville area to stay with family. Out of the blue my Excursion’s alternator went out. Stranded away from home, I panicked and called the nearest service to me. I am so glad I did! Not only would they help me, but they took me in the second I called. They got my alternator replaced and back on the road within 1 hour! Amazing service and even better quality work. While I live far away I do come out to Yuba frequently for family, and when ever I need it, I will come here! Highly recommend taking your diesel trucks here!

Started my truck 06/6.0 on the morning of 11/22/21 white smoke pouring from the tail pipe. we knew it was or had something to do with the Egr valve. after a few calls I was able to contact Adrian at Norcal Diesel had the truck towed to them. after a few days of thorough inspection from the Norcal crew not only was the egr valve bad so was the oil cooler/heads and more.. we decided to bullet proof the truck. it took a little while but mostly due to the Holidays the owner Jaun and Mgr. Adrian and crew did an outstanding job with this bullet proof. our truck is like brand-new truck fuel milage much better. The bad news was that the Powerstroke 6.4 diesel in my EarthRoamer developed a leaky head gasket...the good news is that I found NorCal Diesel in Yuba City CA to make the repairs. Juan and Adrian are the master mechanics that specialize in Ford Powerstroke Diesel engines and everything related to Super-Duty trucks. I met with them to discuss the work and gave them the bad news that the work had to be done with the cab on because of the cab over camper configuration of my EarthRoamer. This struck fear in the eyes of other shops that I talked with, but they said no problem...we’ll just pull the engine out the front. I told them that I needed this truck rock solid reliable for a multi-year trip to South America and asked them for recommendations to bullet proof this engine while they had it out of the truck. We decided on new KDD O-Ring heads, ARP studs, BPD water pump, oil cooler, coolant filter and Mishimoto radiator. They carefully inspected everything on disassembly and found issues with wear on the front timing cover, HP fuel pump, rocker arms, PS brake line and the bed plate seal. They took pictures of all the issues they found and explained them to me. I wanted to get all this taken care of while the engine was out to eliminate the need for future major engine repairs. They completed the repairs and even installed an S&B air intake to improve engine performance and some BPD bling all covered under the original quote! I would highly recommend NorCal Diesel for all your truck maintenance and repairs. Juan and Adrian are a rare find and their attention to detail and top quality work is second to none...thanks guys!

So I had went to this shop for multiple things to be done to my 6.0 and when I had got it back as soon as I got home I came to see coolant blowing out of the coolant hose and come to find out the clamp wasn’t even put on at all then a few weeks later it sprung a boost leak, then after another hose blew off while driving it and agin it was another clamp wasn’t even tightened nor was it even on the same hose were it should have been on it was pushed way down out of the way. So of corse I took it back because I didn’t want to get left stranded and needed my truck reliable, and they corrected that problem and even when I was gonna leave I thought I’d check everything this time and come to find out my reservoir is empty and had no coolant... with the amount of money I gave too this shop to fix my truck and make it reliable I am having more issues now then I did before. Definitely don’t recommend this place.
