My husband and I had a wonderful recent car buying experience at Niello BMW Elk Grove. Their sales advisor quickly found the particular car we were looking to purchase, and expertly explained all the new features built into todays vehicles. The financing was an easy process, and not as time-consuming as so often is the case during the purchasing process. The showroom has been redesigned for the customers comfort and the staffs efficiency. We have used the Niello Elk Grove service department to work on our cars for several decades, and highly recommend their mechanics for all BMW repairs and servicing.

I see most of the reviews are pretty solid here so I decided to reach out. Through text but rep had asked me about price and I told him my range (which was on the spot estimated) and he told me with no effort wasnt reasonable and to reach back out when have a reasonable price. Funny, went to another BMW dealership not too far and they told me they would work with me on the price (which is what we want to hear and the effort counts) we actually got really close to what I was hoping for. Very happy with my purchase there. I def recommend some sales/customer service training.

I encountered some challenges at the dealership, and while I wont single out that specific salesperson, lets refer to him as X. Id like to share my experience..The satisfaction of acquiring a car extends beyond the vehicle itself; its significantly shaped by the salespersons attitude. I wont be receiving the vehicle for free; instead, Ill be making a substantial investment. Unfortunately, the interaction left me with a negative impression due to what I perceived as arrogance.An illustration of this is the dealerships commitment to a one-price strategy. However, conveying this with arrogance differs greatly from explaining it politely.Moreover, stating that I dont appreciate honesty is inaccurate. I value honesty and politeness.In our conversation, when you printed the quote and placed it on the table, Suddenly you turned the paper upside down while I was reading it. I believe there are more effective and respectful methods to positively influence customers to choose your dealership.X, if you come across this message, my suggestion is to focus on fostering a more respectful attitude. I typically dread having to go into a car dealership for a vehicle, knowing it is going to be an unpleasant experience.I recently had a VERY unpleasant experience at another dealership just a few days ago.Let me tell you what,I honestly don’t know where to begin to explain on how GREAT of an experience I had here at Niello!From start to finish, it was a fast and friendly experience, that I can honestly say I have never experienced anywhere else before, EVER!Communication was outstanding.I didn’t get low balled for my trade in like other places.I was treated with respect and dignity, (which I know many of you reading this have experienced the exact opposite elsewhere).I drove almost 100 miles to make the deal.They held the vehicle for me, ended up getting me a better deal than their in house financing offered, and I was able to leave with the vehicle, as well as scheduled maintenance, premium extended warranty, AND gap insurance.Ozzie was a blast to deal with.We shared stories with each other which was cool, and every single person I interacted with there (forgive me for forgetting their names), was very much an experience that I enjoyed.I can’t say enough how GREAT of an experience this was, and if you value your time and money, look no place other than Niello BMW Elk Grove!

Oh my gosh - this was the worst car buying experience of my lifetime and probably several more in the future. The all male employees discriminated and WOULD NOT sell me a SQ7 because of being disable and female. Im embarrassed I have my name attached to such a scathing review and Im sharing such private details but I dont know what else to do. I am working with an attorney now. I have all documentation. I tried to purchase a vehicle all cash beginning Saturday and by Thursday they still will not sell it .Sales employee Vlad tells me on Monday if I have the cash ready by 4pm, the car will be ready and delivered by 6pm....Sales employee Vlad and finance manager Angad let us know the follwing day once there is cash ready to transfer and embarrassingly enough I did not negotiate for the first time in my life buying an audi because Vlad and Angad shared negotiating was against their policy....Its now Thursday and they still will not sell the car - i dont understand. I had to ask 5+ times for them to send a contract which was then received WednesdayI was then told they cant sell it top me at sticker price (remember negotiating is against policy) They said Vlad should have sent me another personal video from him iphone (even though on the website the car was ready to ship and sell with pics and video on the lot)The latest (remember I reached out Saturday. Its now Thursday. I was told there are small scratches so even though they would have let me drive it off the lot (I am physically disabled and need someone else to drive me) they said to send it to me 50 miles away as promised on monday by 6pm if cash was there - now they said unless i physivally drive which they know i cant that they need to hold it and now for some reason repair the bumper???Why will they release and sell this car to an able bodied man and not a disabled female over 40? Had anyone else had this issue with all male eastern european staff?They also did a hard check on my credit because they said they needed it even though I was paying cash? What is going on at this dealership? I am concerned for the information they have on file, their treatment of diabled, females and something fishy financially.

If they feel like you put them in a position where they did you wrong, they will point fingers at you and threaten to come after you. No such thing as a 7 day return period either when they sell your trade 2 days into the grace period.

The funniest car buying experience, Ive ever had in my life. I wont bore you with extensive details of how the sales person treated my family member who has trouble breathing as if she also had a cognitive disability. We asked for the numbers at the end of the test drive here is what they provided:Recv Key - $695 (They tried to charge us for the 2nd key that comes standard with nearly every other vehicle)Government Fee - $605 (The registration on the vehicle didnt expire until Nov 24, no other dealership tried to charge of registration on a vehicle that was in compliance)RECOVR - $1295 (Lojack type of system, that cost $300 to purchase and is essentially an airtag that you hide on the car. Another dealership tried to charge us $695 for this same product, but we declined and they removed it. Why the $600 additional mark up?)When I tell you we looked at each other and stood up to put our jackets on and walked out, they were shocked.The finance guy set back in his chair once I said thank you for your time we are gong to leave and thought he was going to get into heavy negotiations with us on their bloated prices. Price gougers isnt even the word to describe these individuals. I went 30 minutes up the road and purchased nearly the exact same vehicle the same day from a really great team.On principle, I wouldnt give these people a dime even if the price was excellent. No way. No how.

Purchased a 2020 BMW M340i here after being sold TWO defective cars from other third party dealerships. Car has been out of service since January and once I got rid of it... I was sold a defective vehicle from SHIFT. Big shoutout to Q making the process very easy. I called in regarding the M340i and requested videos to make sure everything is good before I make the 2-3 hour trip. He showed all the defects and was honest about the car. I was hoping to get shuttled there but the dealership was unable to, since there was a limit to the distance they can shuttle people. At first they were hesitant to UBER-ing me to the dealership since its a risk they would have to take if I find something defective with the car. But Q made it happen, he ended up UBER-ing me which was a 2 hour ride and once I got there I was treated with hospitality. Also, I had a refund on the way from the defective car bought from SHIFT but the dealership and I came to an agremeent with paying the down payment on a certain date since I needed a car asap, which I know certain dealerships dont allow. Pov helped me with that opportunity. Thank you for the free keychain Q, I actually needed one haha. Love the new car, I have friends regretting buying their F82 M4 and passing up on the M340i after seeing my new to me car :) Car is runninng smooth, so far so good! Thanks again.

Horrible post sale experience from this dealership. I spent over $153k at this place and the sales person, his manager and the finance manager have no respect whatsoever to the customer, post sale. I am out of state client. I was told registration will be processed through a 3rd party company since it is an out of state. Almost 2 month and paperwork hasnt been submitted to the 3rd party co yet. 2 month and I still cant drive the car since I dont have a temp tag, no registration sticker or plate. I called and spoke to the people above multiple times and was told every time that it will be taken care of but nothing. Horrible experience and will never consider your dealership again.

Update: Give them a chance, make your own decision, tell others about itI have increased my 2 star rating to 3 stars because of a phone call.Me and this dealership have history. Not a pleasant experience from my point of view. Sales, Parts and Service, nothing has gone smooth in the past and my review reflected that. The phone call was in no way harsh, or pushy and didnt ask me to change my review in any way shape or form,.The service manager seemed genuinely interested in where they had gone wrong and failed to meet my expectations. The phone call is a step in the right direction on bridging the gap between customer expectations and the services they provide. I do believe Elk Grove Niello wants everyone to feel theyve received their moneys worth when they visit their dealership.I recently had my oil changed under warranty and everything was perfect but the google score isnt a rating of how they did the last time, its how theyve done overall. Elk Grove Niello has a pretty good overall rating so most customers are having their expectations met or exceeded. My suspicion is that most of those customers are under a warranty or a maintenance plan but still, they are happy. I had a bad experience with sales, parts and service. I give Elk Grove Niello a 3 star rating and I wont eagerly go there but they are very convenient if you live around the Elk Grove area. I am sure that I will end up there again and I hope they can keep the momentum in the right direction.Thank you BMW North America or Niello Group for reading these. All dealerships should take notes on how a car buying experience should be handled. Exceptional customer service. Mike in sales got me into my new 3 series flawlessly. Trevor in service took care of my disaster of a collision on the freeway and brought my car back to life. He even contacted the insurance reps pressing them to complete my claim. We have been to different BMW’s and they all have been good. However, Elk Grove took care of us. The staff is friendly and respectful. Richard was our service rep and was easy to talk to and responsive. We like that they go over the recommendations before starting service so you can choose what you need done. We just went for the oil change, as scheduled, and added a wheel alignment.They work efficiently without sacrificing quality. Our oil change/alignment only took 3-4 hours. Other places, we don’t get our car back until closer to closing. We had an emergency work on our engine that same day and they took care of it before end of day rather than having to keep overnight.

I had to call four different times to get an update on my vehicle. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and did not get it back until the following Tuesday. I kept getting different answers each time I called. I shouldn’t have to be the one to call 4 times in a week solely because you guys aren’t calling to let me know. These repairs were done in 24 hours. Being without a vehicle for a week was extremely difficult. I didn’t appreciate the representative sounding annoyed by my call when I had to check the status of my vehicle. I’ll leave the name out because this isn’t about trying to give someone specific a bad review. I just think it was really bad business on that associate to go about it the way they did. I take my car to your dealership because it’s an actual BMW dealership as opposed to some non accredited mechanic on Fulton Ave. However this experience was very disappointing . Communication is key and this experience had Zero communication. Don’t sound annoyed when your clients are calling you to check the status because non of your associates have done so. I had an issue with my thermostat on my X1 and was told the cost of labor and part would be $500+. I expressed that i was on a budget, and Brad at Niello Elk Grove went through all my options and did his due diligence to see if the thermostat was on warranty, and it was! He offered that we do a diagnostic check as to have it be covered under warranty and I left saving over $300. I highly recommend anyone to this dealership, theyre transparent, friendly, and simply the best.

Terrible experience at the parts department. Dont hire people who arent passionate about learning about cars and lack the ability to help people find parts. I understand no one starts with experience but being able to look parts up in the system with a part number and being able to identify basic parts should be a given. Wasted my time driving down here hoping to get parts today only to find a clueless unprofessional associate who couldnt even look up parts. I had a great experience. The staff were warm and friendly. I was able to drive away in a rental car with the assurance that my vehicle would be repaired by a knowledgeable team. Before the work was approved I was provided with a cost breakdown of the repairs which was easy to understand and accompanied with pictures. I was kept informed of the progress every day. When the work was completed I returned and my vehicle had been washed and the service technician had included a nice complementary gift which was greatly appreciated. I was disappointed with my service. I brought it in for window replacement ( my car was broken in to) glass was shattered everywhere in the car. The time to complete service was fine. But labor alone was nearly 700 dollars- with such a price I would assume my car wouldn’t still have glass all over the place and black grease all over my beige leather seats, steering wheel and other places when picking up. Richard was a sweetheart and took the car to remove the glass out that was left and clean the grease off. He came back with it we inspected again and there was still glass on my dash under the head rest on my driver and passenger seat and several other places. Instead of being that annoying customer we just left and we cleaned it out when we got home. My question is when bringing in the car I was told the labor portion was so high because the cleaning of all the glass out of the car etc etc we do this etc etc so I’m like fine. But my question is why don’t you cover people’s seats and carpet when working in someone’s car. Every dealership I’ve ever went covers the seats and wipes everything down to ensure no grease is left on it. It’s a brand new car and I’m a nurse I don’t get dirt in my car nor do I have time to clean a mess that I paid for to be cleaned. I think from now on we will go to another BMW dealership. I’m sorry Richard you were really nice to work with.

This is was my first service appointment at Niello BMW since purchasing my car & maintenance program through them last July. Richard Mendez was courteous and checked in with me periodically during the 1.5 hrs I was there and since it was raining he even had the maintenance crew change my windshield wipers. Niello, on Fulton ave, Sacramento, CA is a very serious rip-off and I would recommend other BMW dealerships, learn to work on it yourself or a good independent when needed, let me explain.Since my BMW is over 12years old and 235,000 miles, runs so smooth and in mint condition, yet Niello recommend’s everything needs replacing. Sales, Sales, Sales… Obviously someone has to pay for those marble floors…!For eight years they serviced my car as I requested due to me traveling for my job, however a Friday, in July 2022 I scheduled a routine oil service as my service light indicated. Hours later they brought it out to me but the “oil service light” was still on so I returned to get this reset issue resolved and my service advisor was nowhere to be found, they said he was gone for the day and its going to be a while before he returns, you know so I’ll leave. I commented to the service department that my light was still on so one employee attempted to reset the service light by tapping my start button but not letting the car start then mumbled to me “I don’t want to ruin you starter” and told me to make an appointment to diagnose the problem, then disappeared. I walked back inside and said, “I just paid $199.00 for unlimited oil changes for three years and I would like my “oil service light reset”. Other customers were paying attention so a service advisor walked me outside in an attempt to defuse the situation in front of the other customers. They couldn’t reset it.Trouble shooting it myself, my “Multi System Diagnostic Scanner” threw an “oil level sensor” failure, so Niello wanted me to make another appointment to replace the “oil level sensor” they tampered with or broke changing the oil and charge me $255.00 for an hour and a marked up price for the part, Coincidence…?, also after cleaning the “Power Steering Reservoir” no leaks were found but fluid appeared to be missing, Coincidence…?, Radiator, well that was a first as there are no leaks and no overheating, Coincidence…?My service advisor called me later and we agreed, Tuesday, they would diagnose the issue. When Niello rolled up the doors to drive up my starter failed…Coincidence…? Then they wanted $1900.00 to replace it, $900 was just the price of the starter… They went on to advise me I needed a software update, $250.00…I don’t have an iDrive, then they recommended I needed a transmission service but they are incapable of performing that and recommend I find another shop, I did and now I have new transmission oil and filter. Later I was emailed recommending I replace a power steering reservoir, a radiator, two tires with alignment, two engine mounts, an oil pan gasket and a windshield… LMAO…!A few weeks later while replacing the coil rack and plugs, I noticed Niello used two different brands of coils on a couple previous service jobs. I’ll just do all the work myself now…!

I brought my car in for service. My service advisor was very personable and even gave me a tour of the dealership. I was told my service would take 2-2.5 hrs but it was done a lot quicker than that, about 1.5hrs. I appreciate this because I had to wait for it but the wait didnt seem long at all. I received text updates for my service so I could follow it and there was a 2 way glass window so I could follow my cars progress that way too which was so cool! Ive never been able to watch my car being serviced so I enjoyed that. I also received updates on additional things that needed service and was able to decide whether or not I wanted those addtl services done. This is genius because sometimes service centers dont ask: they perform the service and then charge you for it! But this dealer gave me the opportunity to accept or decline the addtl services. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because I really wanted a loaner car but the dealer was out :( (but its fine I guess because the wait wasnt long, I really just wanted to try out a loaner to try out the new class of BMWs lol)

Two sales here are racists. When I came here, there were only three new cars here that I could go in and see what’s inside ; however, those three did not fit my desire, so one of them took me into the office. He found a car for me and it was still not my type. The salesman started to be frustrated, and someone came and took him away. The other salesman came. We were talking fine. I contacted Niello BMW in Elk Grove after Long Beach BMW was going to charge a $1000 service fee and a $350 disposition fee to buy back the lease and pay off the residual value on the lease of a 2019 BMW X3. There was nothing in my original contract about this buy back fee. After contacting Niello BMW I learned they charge no fees to buy out a lease and also offered a comparable financing rate through a credit union to finance the residual value saving me $1350.I initially contacted Ed Alnasir at Niello (dealership I had purchased my 2013 BMW through) who informed me there were no payoff service fees at Niello BMW, just pay off residual value and DMV registration. Mr. Alnasir put me in contact with Ron Morrison, Niello Business Manager, and he expeditiously handled all the paperwork for the lease buy out and the credit union financing through the US postal service and email. He is a total professional, direct about available optional warranty provisions, but does no apply high pressure to purchase.I was so impressed with the honesty and integrity of the Niello dealership and particularly Mr. Alnasir and Mr. Morrison. Although we now live in Southern California, I will be traveling back to Northern California to Niello when I purchase my next BMW, probably in 2024/25. Thank you for your integrity and customer centered service; you have a customer for life with me.
