A desperately needed home for gamers in the area. The RPGs they run have been a great, as well as a way to make new friends in the community. Much more than a store. The games, the hosted events, and the community is what its all about. If they dont have something youre looking for to purchase, consider trying out one of the many hosted events. Its no exaggeration to say the existence of Nexus has made living here, for my nerd self, a better existence.

Owners are incredibly knowledgeable about the games that they carry and are dedicated to running a multitude of Dungeons & Dragons campaigns as well as TCG tournaments for the public. Board game and TCG selection is broad and their new tabletop gaming area makes it easy to get immersed in D&D campaigns!

Staff if super chill and friendly, awesome little spot to delve into my inner nerd. Since its one of the only niche places in the area, it wouldnt surprise me if they did get tons of local business. Hours are kinda weird, but the prices are good and the selection (albeit kinda small) is top-notch for what I look for. If you dig card/board games in an easy environment, this is a cool little spot

Best LGS this side of the planet. Open, inclusive and caring. Roy, Amber, Melody, and Will work hard to make sure everyone feels like they are included and matter. Events have low scheduling conflict and patrons are the kindest people I know. Nate Byrd is a fantastic DM, as well as both Roy and Amber. What this means is there is always a myriad of campaigns available to you. Come on by and have some fun!

Super cool stop and a really neat shop. Very friendly and helpful staff. A wonderful selection. Very nice array to choose from. I couldnt be happier about this great game store. There is a place to go for MAGIC cards in Red Bluff. Its been there awhile, but I just found it. So, Ill be sure to stop in as often as I can. It looks small from the front, but I promise there is much inside as well as game tables!

Went in to make a gift purchase for my grandkids. I am not real knowledgeable in what kids like now a days, but the staff were friendly and helpful with getting the right gifts. Great games and great people to help you learn the games. Enjoy visiting this place when I need gifts or want to learn how to play new games. Always very helpful and friendly. Would recommend to any new or advanced players.

Truly a shame I feel the need to write this review. Was a happy customer for 3-4 years of this place being open, and was very vocal to friends and family alike to attend the new shop in town with how friendly the atmosphere was and how relaxed the vibes were. Over time it deteriorated, leading me to have no interest in coming back to the shop after some time. I attended my last tournament, and shortly after made a visit back just to pop in and say hi, to see if the vibe had changed for the better. I was very disappointed when I was greeted with heavy accusations and claims of just a bunch of miscommunication and claims of hate speech and racism, something that clearly is not okay, but could have been clarified and reasoned with an apology and my own clear explanation as to what the situation was. Rather than listening to what I had to say, or my apology for it even being a possible issue, I was publicly shamed in front of the husband’s customers, and employee rather than being pulled aside and spoken to, and completely disrespected and permanently banned from attending the shop at all. After much consideration, I have no interest in siding with this shop anymore, considering the owners have let the store itself because a pig sty often, leaving food boxes and food all over their back room, and smoking weed and making the entire shop smell like rotten food and marijuana. Not only is the owner disrespectful to customers, but also has no respect for their own environment in their work place. 1/5, would not recommend, and truly saddened that it has come to this point.

I live on the east coast and made a very big purchase that they fulfilled with flying colors! If you are shopping online, while you may question the trustworthiness of this small shop, DO NOT WORRY, they are exceptional and worth every dollar you spend here. Thank you so much!

Nexus has been such a great experience every time Ive gone there. The owners Roy and Amber are so welcoming and kind and Morgan is super nice every time theyre there. The prices are good and they have a lot of game days. Highly recommend to anyone looking for cards or board games/accessories.
