I’ve been going to Newport Smiles for a couple years now and I’ve had a tremendous experience every time. All members of the staff are incredibly friendly and help answer any questions or concerns I have. The doctors are also amazing as well, they provide excellent service and make sure that my teeth are left in the best shape possible before I leave. They lay out all possible options of treatment and really give me the necessary knowledge to make the best decision for my health.I had an experience where I switched to another dentist for a cleaning because of it being closer to home and went immediately back to Dr. Puri and Newport Smiles because of the quality of care they provide compared to other dental clinics. Highly recommend Newport Smiles if you’re looking for a dentist!!! I will personally never switch to another dental clinic.

Had an awesome experience here. The staff was super friendly and welcoming & the location was very clean. Specifically Veronica in the back office went above and beyond to help me! I came in from a google ad I saw online since I was looking for an affordable dentist in the area, and they did not disappoint. I didn’t have dental insurance and they worked with me to find a plan to help with my situation. Couldn’t ask for more from a dentist. I was in and out within 30-45 ish minutes so 5 stars to the scheduling front desk as well, I didn’t have to wait hours like at other places for a scheduled appt. You can really trust the dentists here, they are not trying to run up your tab on things that aren’t necessary. If you are in Newport, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach and don’t have dental insurance, I recommend you try them out!

The best professional care from the front desk (Sara and Anne) to Dr. Puri and everyone in between (Edwin. Dylan and Veronica). Came in on a Friday before a long holiday weekend as a new patient with a badly abscessed molar and left with an extraction and temporary bridge. Am leaving the office today with a perfectly fitted permanent bridge and couldn’t be happier with the caring compassionate care I have received. Highly recommend.

I am a relative newcomer to Newport Smiles, and were working through a couple replacement crowns. Whats unique about my experience is I came from a nearby Dental office (about a block away) who I learned through Delta Dental had been overbilling me for some 30 years. Newport Smiles is a MUCH better experience so far. The doctor and staff are patient and go beyond expectation to assure that Im aware of the treatment plan at every step. Im very satisfied and happy with my change and dental care! Location and parking is very convenient.

Overall it was a negative experience. The wait was quick and the front office staff was respectful upon arrival. On the questionnaire, I indicated that I strongly dislike the dentist and I have a sensitivity to temperatures. During the cleaning, I was obviously in pain and uncomfortable. The dentist never asked if I was okay and said “your teeth are really dirty” to justify the pain she was causing. She also critiqued the hygienist In front of me for an unnecessary reason. If the hygienist was not aware of the dentists expectations when greeting the dentist prior to the cleaning then the dentist should have provided clearer instructions, not inappropriately critique her in front of the client. Additionally, when I declined a service and was reading the print so I would know what I was signing the worker said “you are just saying no to the thing that is causing you to have so many cavities”. The hygienist was the only positive experience of the dentist.

Wonderful dental office. Dr Bhatia is the best Ive been to many offices who have butchered my mouth and since then I have not went to a dentist. From the moment of walking In I felt welcome. Great experience overall! Nadia, the front desk receptionist welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door. Being a first time customer, that immediately gave me a good impression.The dental assistants Maribel, Jenny and Ivette were all quick and attentive to what my needs were. They went beyond and took the time to walk me through the procedures they needed to do.The dental hygienist, Zena, also made sure that I wasn’t in any form or pain and made sure I was content with the work she did. Dr. Taka made sure to greet me as soon as he saw me and made me feel comfortable the entire time. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to talk to me and inform me of all his concerns and recommendations.I’m sure I can relate like many others when I say I never enjoy going to the dentist. But I must say I look forward to my next visit here!

After a bad experience with another dentist I found Newport Smiles. Going to the dentist makes me really nervous. I have some work I need to get done on my mouth that requires needles which makes me super nervous. I have a very severe needle phobia. The whole team there is always so nice and understanding of my anxiety with everything. They explain everything to me and they don’t ever force me to choose one option over another. Whatever makes me comfortable is okay with them. This is the first dentist I have liked since becoming an adult. Dr. Puri is just so amazing! She is so sweet and gentle and I just couldn’t ask for a better dentist! This place is top notch and I would recommend to everyone i know!

The team at Newport Smiles is very professional, friendly and personable. I have always felt that I was in good hands with each visit. The whole staff here was/has been very gentle and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on keeping my calm and comfortable throughout the whole process of my visit. Dr.Puri is very knowledgeable she has always been honest and straight forward. I have been to other dentists that exaggerated what my needs were in order to make more money so it was a relief to find a dentist who had integrity and was respectful with listening to all and any of my concerns I’ve ever had. I had an emergency dental situation, that has required multiple appointments, and Dr. Puri has been amazing and helpful the entire time. She even got me flowers for my college graduation! I feel extremely comfortable and trust her with whatever she advises. The team is great too and I feel welcomed every time Im there. Its a wonderful office and location. I would highly recommend! They can take care of just about anything you need.

I was in so much pain! I could not eat or work. My teeth were infected. I could not afford to remove the infection but the entire staff helped me through everything. From the phone call on Thursday and the same day visit through the removal of all the infection on Friday, (the day after!) I felt safe and helped the entire time. After having a bad experience with a prior Dr. I found them online, let me tell you the best Dentist around. Their customer service from their entire staff is amazing. Having so many dentist (my prior one) being just walking distance from my house I chose to drive 20min to them. I have very bad anxiety when it comes to dentist so having to find one that not only I feel comfortable with but that wont try to push you to do what best for them money wise its very important. Dr.Makanji was excellent not only pulling my wisdom tooth but in general great customer service. Their assistant remember that I get nervous from the consultation visit and as soon as she saw me she gave me a stress star to hold on to during the procedure. I will continue to drive 20 min to be seen by Dr. Makanji and his staff. Thank you for your great customer service, you have gain a patient for life!

Ive nothing but great things to say about Newport Smiles. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Ive been there for different needs and every time its been the friendly accommodating feeling. Dr Puri is the dentist that works with my dental needs and she has been very helpful and takes the time to explain everything and will answer any questions I may have. By far, the best dentist experience Ive ever had. I called in as a first-time patient, in severe pain, with a dental emergency and was scheduled to come in on the same day for a consultation. I had no expectation that I would be treated that same day, but Dr Puri saw the pain I was in and to my delight, I left the office completely pain free. She also has always gone about a 1,000 extra miles to help me and my family. I am so grateful that I found such a caring dentist. Hygienist either left or was never available. A new dentist came in and was too rough. They pushed more expensive cleanings. My bridgwork they replaced is ill fitting. Had to move on.

We have been patients at Newport smiles for over ten years now. Recently, my daughter had a two part dental procedure and Dr. Puri, Lety and the entire office made our experience exceptional. My daughter has a true phobia of dentists. Everyone was so kind to her and helped her through her anxiety. She needed extra time to calm down and they were so patient and understanding with her. They did everything humanly possible to make it a better experience for her. The front office was also extremely diligent in helping to schedule and re-schedule appointments and did an excellent job coordinating with the anesthesiologist and his busy schedule. Also helping with financing options was great too. We could not have asked for a better experience for such a stressful situation. Thank you so much. I would recommend this office and their Fullerton office to everyone. I have always had great experiences every time not just this time. (I have had major dental work, my husband has had veneers and my son has had his wisdom teeth removed- been here several times and all have been good.)

I had a filling from another dentist fall out causing massive tooth pain overnight. Dr. Puri and her staff saw me the next morning and did a root canal on the sport. It was so fast and painless that I almost fell asleep during the procedure! Everyone there is so nice, especially Dr. Puri and Ivette. Theyre normal people and just...talk to you...which alleviates any anxiety that patients may be feeling about having dental work done. As I said, the root canal itself was 100% pain free and they did it quickly. I was out of there in no time. They also took the time to show me x-rays and gave me background on not only WHAT they were doing but WHY. It all made perfect sense to me after that. The ladies at the front are outstanding as well - billing/insurance were done in less than five minutes. Start to finish- best dentist Ive ever been to! I would give them six stars if I could and I will never go anywhere else for dental work.

Great Visit With Dr Puri and her staff. I had 3 other consultations and I knew Dr Puri would be the one I chose . She went over my X-rays and explained the procedures very clearly and also gave me options s, some I could do without saving me money. This is by far the best dentist office I have ever been to. I found them when I had an emergency and they were able to fit me in same day. Once again they give you the most expensive and worst case scenario and do not provide other options and will try to take advabtage of you. Went back to my dentist in Tijuana and once again great treatment and provide every option you have and you choose rather than a money grab selfish dentist office Newport Smiles is. Do not trust them, the dentist was rude, cold and un pleasant.Its all about money, they will tell you the maximum amount of work needed and now I think about it how many times do you think they lie to people about work needed just take money from you, dont believe what they say always get a second opinion and you will find out how selfish and inconsiderate they are and in fact that they may be lying to your face.

They dated the fillings I got wrong (which I specifically waited for the new year to get them done to get my new insurance cycle to pick it up) to last year and refuse the correct the system aka their mistake. Im going to be looking for a new dentist for sure. Also they apparently change their attitude after receiving a good review.

I found this practice by Googling veneers. I needed immediate work done on chipped teeth but my dentist at the time priced me out of consideration and would not accept crédit for the necessary work. I was skeptical at first. Good dentists are hard to find. But, I made an appointment and said my prayers!Upon entering the office, I was pleased with the modern and clean office. Medical records are computerized, there is beautiful art on the walls, relaxing instrumental music played, and all areas were clean. The desk staff was very kind and caring, not demanding or abrupt in manner. I did not have to wait!Once in the procedural area, I was allowed to see the problem with my teeth on the overhead computer screen and the dentist explained everything in good detail. I ask a lot of questions and all of mine were answered respectfully and thoroughly. I was offered a very competitive price and payment option so I decided to work with this practice.Upon returning for my subsequent appointments, timeliness and consistency helped me trust I would get the care and follow-up I would need. The dentist was very gentle and patient taking painstaking care and attention to detail. I was made to feel comfortable.By my third visit the anxiety I had previously experienced in dental visits was gone and I could relax. My teeth were repaired both structurally to protect them properly and aesthetically to create as beautiful of a smile as my mouth could have.Thank you Newport Smiles for helping me maintain a smile I am proud of and restoring my trust in dentistry!!!

I wish I could give more than five stars to Dr. Aarti Puri and her staff. I needed to have an implant for one of my front teeth, and I shopped around. From the moment I met Dr. Puri, I felt that I was in good hands. Not only was she very kind and compassionate, but she also explained the procedure in detail and helped me feel more comfortable. She also broke down the procedure into steps to make it easier on me financially, and before I left, she kindly cemented my existing crown (at no charge!) so that I could go on some job interviews while I made a decision. She is not only an exceptional dentist, but also personable, friendly and eager to provide a wonderful patient experience. If I could give negative or 0 stars, I would.Please do not go to this dentist. They are all about getting your money. I found them via my in network plan. They did the normal x-rays, review. Here is where everything fell apart. they reported that I had over 10 Cavities. I found this hard to believe since I am crazy about my oral health and I had no cavities or warning spots 12 months earlier. I communicated my daily routine (floss daily, brush 2x a day, no soda or sugar in my diet, mouthwash daily) and their response was that should be enough. I said, If I have 9 cavities, I obviously need to change something. They responded, floss more. They didnt believe me and they couldnt come up with anything else and tried to sign me up for 5 different sessions to fill all the cavities.I have a medical background, and am naturally curious and like to maintain my health. They couldnt answer any of my questions. for example, I asked, Why are you recommending this antibacterial cleaning, not the standard? Their response, This is what we recommend you can get the pricing from your insurance if you are concerned about the cost.They couldnt explain to me why they recommend a specific type of cleaning. They were also so understaffed, they asked me to leave, rather than clean my teeth (a blessing in disguise).My son went too. They reported he had 4 cavities and tried to sign him up for 2 different filling sessions. ( i refused to do that on the spot).He was there for a cleaning too, and they didnt actually clean his teeth. They shined them, but he still had plaque all over them.I have dentists in the family back on the East coast, and I got a second opinion. . We have since found a different dentist locally, recommended by my family member. Guess what, neither of us had cavities. So of the 15 they said we had... we had NONE. My son had to get a real cleaning.Please do not go to this dentist. They only care about getting money from you. They are untrustworthy and have questionably business practices.

Had a crown placed in about two years ago at this location, the crown began to become unseated and ended up coming off. Due to the fact that I did not have any issues with other crowns I have and only this one they agreed to waive the fee to re do the cement and placed the crown back on. It was very much appreciated. My dad who is visiting me for a holiday felt excruciating pain one night in one of his molars. He had heard of horror stories from others in the past about root canal treatment and was naturally very apprehensive. A quick google search brought me to Newport smiles and it was definitely the right decision. A quick assessment and x ray confirmed my father needed a root canal. The team was very professional and very proactive in setting up the required appointment with Dr Puri who explained the procedure in detail that she will perform. She was very upfront and professional throughout. My father is now free of pain and his misconceptions about root canal and how painful it can be is gone. I had a dental emergency while I was driving home from vacation and Newport Smiles took me in right away and made my me feel much better. I went to Newport smiles with a severe toothache. All the staff members were friendly and accommodating. The doctor (sorry. Don’t remember the name) who check on me was helpful and she did help me with the initial treatment.The real wonder was actually waiting. On my second day, Dr Aarti Puri took care of me and she is nothing less than a magician. She is caring, calm and composed. She did more than needful and her patience and skills were unparalleled. I knocked out a few teeth and damaged my jaw in a climbing accident. Despite recovering fully, my dental alignment has not been correct ever since. After sharing my issue with a doctor, he suggested that I visit Newport Smiles: Dental Implants Center. These people have three locations Tustin Newport Beach and Im not sure where the third one is I was very disappointed they put advertisements out for 399 for a root canal I called them I talked to a woman who said she was the office executive she told me to be 399 for the root canal on tooth number 20 it would be $600 for a crown after I got there and went through all the procedures of examination the telling me they want to charge me $2,700 plus the dentist thats eating me is not qualified to the root canal so she has to send me to a specialist and then I got to come back to her after they accept specialist examines the tooth and make sure they can do the root canal its the old bait-and-switch why do you go to the one in Newport or the one in Tustin youre not going to get a 399 root canal I qualify for denti-cal because my income so low but none of these all dentist care enough about patients to treat you with denti-cal cuz denti-cal only pays 80% of what they asked for

The worst place ever the Doctor said I have 12 Cavities I was so scared so I told her to start ASAP she did 4 of them in the same day I suffered for 2 months until my pain was relief but I knew something was wrong with this doctor because I know for sure I don’t have no cavities !so I want for 2 different dentals doctors just to check if I do have them and they said I have non !!!
