MARLA M IS THE BEST FOR ANY JUVENILE CASE : My son got in trouble where he could be facing a lot of years behind bar and I had lost all hope till I reached out to Newman and Allen group and when I met with the staff who was so courteous they referred my case to Marla M who specialize in juvenile case, she was so amazing and caring and I literally felt like she is family . I hired Newman and Allen back in April for a DUI case and they helped me a bunch with finding a payment plan that worked well with me financially. They have done a great job at answering all my questions about my case. Marla Metro was able to guide me throughout the process with legal advice and how to proceed with my case and future hearings. There were doubtful times because I was financially struggling to afford an attorney. However, Mrs. Allen was able to work with a payment plan when I had to pay for a second “trust” for my case. I was in fear for my future because I was battling a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) which my child’s mother was pursuing by fabricating a fallacy. But, Mrs. Metro was able to prove that my child’s mother was lying many times throughout my trial/hearing; fortunately, I was able to provide evidence for Mrs. Metro while battling my case.I wanted to counter sue to recover some of my fees; but, both Mrs. Metro and Mrs. Allen informed me I would more than likely not be granted my fees back and would only irritate the judge for future hearings. On this note, they informed me it was for my best interest to just proceed without any action that looks like retaliation. So, they saved me money by not attempting to recover fees.They are great with communicating. But, phone calls and emails surprisingly add up to a great cost. So, keep conversations brief and straight to the point; trust this firm with their plan and judgements.All in all, Mrs. Metro gets the job done; she is capable of proving innocents and lies; she clarifies her plan with you before the hearing and will definitely fight you. In addition, Mrs. Allen is understanding enough to try and compromise with payments while giving legal advice.I’ve had a lawyer before for a DUI, but, the experience was nothing comparing to this firm. Their team is worth the cost and will do all they can in order to support their clients.

For the first time in my over 60 years of life I found myself in need of lawyer. I didnt know who to turn to so I turned to the internet. I came across the law office of Newman&Allen. I read the reviews and was impressed with what I read. I contacted them and made an appointment with J.C. Allen. She has a powerful presence, she was matter-of- fact yet sensitive and compassionate at the same time.This all happened during the pandemic. And the charges was not local so there was some travel required. But they were with me every step of the way. The rest of the appearances were on zoom and the attorney was in attendance on our behalf. The charges started out as felony but ended up misdemeanor. Probation no jail time. A friend of mine who knows about these charges said she had not heard on anyone ever getting off with no jail time. She only told me after it was over. Im so thankful because I would have been extremely stressed.All of the staff at N&A was great. Affordable, great communication, timely updates. I spoke with Liz Caldera and explained that my son was running out of time to clear a matter I had paid the other attorney to resolve, without results. JC was Johnny-on-the-spot, reaching out quickly and making immediate progress on the case. Despite Covid-19 slowdowns with the courts, she mangad to secure a date on the calendar to have the case heard. She then reached out to the DA’s office and filled them in on the facts of the case. I met with JC Allen to discuss the trouble that I got myself into. Never been in trouble before and I was scared to death. I quickly found out that ignorance is not a defense. I didn’t know what was going to happen but JC Allen walked me through what I was gonna have to do. I was being charged with a felony and was looking at the possibility of facing jail time and restitution. There were several meetings between my attorney and the prosecutions. I was completely lost and confused about what to do and who to call for representation. I called many attorneys that had familiarity with superior court cases and all of them gave me the impression that they did not want to take the case, and if they did, they were only looking out for their financial interests, until I met Geoff. He met me at my lowest point in my life; I was bitter, angry, and cynical having to deal with this legal issue, and Geoff listened to me and helped me to understand the very complicated legal system. Thank God I retained him as my attorney. I have never needed an attorney before and was still skeptical and defensive about working with an attorney, but he immediately began working on my behalf. Geoff understands the frame of mind of the prosecutors since he previously worked for the DA’s office.My case was complicated and I kept wanting a quick resolution but Geoff knowing the system wouldn’t allow me to be pressured into accepting a plea deal; he was patient and willing to follow the case to resolution even if it meant going to trial.
