Very happy! Great company with great people that actually care from the owner to the on site techs to the office staff. I’ve had many questions because I went with a fairly large system along with batteries and of course the County has a lot of red tape but New Day solar made sure everything was taken care of and stayed on top of every step. Now that my solar is installed and working I’ve had additional questions and they respond right away and have sent out techs the next day to help me. Long and the short: it’s easy to sell someone but the follow through after they’ve been paid is always the most important. Some companies treat you differently after the job is done, New Day treats you great no matter what. Highly recommend! I’m going to forget people but Mike, Cory, Ivan, Andrew, Olivia, Cassandra, Jonathan, Johnson were wonderful!

Excellent experience with New Say Solar. Mike Echan was very responsive and helped me make the best decision with my solar setup. I was also very impressed by the professionalism of all installers - Nathan, Ryan, Manny, Lance, Mikey, Justin, and Ivan. These guys worked hard and did excellent work. They even helped me unload some bags of cement from my truck bed when they were waiting for the roof to defrost in the morning. The customer service was all around great. The very reason why I chose New Day. Thank you!

We had a great experience with new day solar. Our interactions with the sales consultant Jim were transparent and easy. He helped us size a system we felt worked for our home. Pricing was fair and we got the system we hoped. Install happened quickly and the install team was quick, timely, communicative, and professional. They didnt leave any trash behind which has happened with other work done on our house. We had one issue after install but Sean and Cassandra were super quick responding to my emails and got a tech out same day in the rain to assess what was going on. A simple adjustment later by Oscar and Im back in business. Overall id highly recommend NDS if you live in the murrieta/temecula area for an honest and responsive solar company.

I live in Temecula . I had 3 different quotes . One quote from the company from cosco . They gave me the cheapest literally half the quotes . They were very accurate, clean, no issue m explain to you the details . Walter was the rep who I spoke with first and he was very helpful. I honestly recommend it . You can check BBB they have no complains for all those years that they r in business .

We moved into a new house a little over a year ago. The solar was here. Apparently it had a 10-year warranty and they were awesome when I called to get a leak fixed. The staff was right on top of things and the guy who showed up Ivan was awesome. Couldnt say enough good about them.

We got solar panels and a back-up battery system installed by New Day Solar in June. Olivia came out to design our system and answered all our questions to get the process started. The installation crew (Nathan, Marcus, Mike, Andrew, Asaiah and several other folks whose names I dont remember) were very professional, all did an excellent job over the 2-day installation. The apps used to monitor the panel production and the batterys state of charge are pretty easy to use for non-techies. Our system passed inspection right away and we got permission to operate sooner than we expected. Weve had a few technical questions after installation, and Oscar called back right away and could not have been any more courteous and helpful. We are glad we went with NDS and highly recommend this family-owned, local company.

We’ve had New Day Solar since October of 2021. We’ve had an outstanding experience with them. Recently, one of the shingles on our roof under our panels had fallen off and created a leak with all the rain we got this winter. New Day came out and fixed it no questions asked. My whole family, extended family, and many friends have gotten Solar from this company and no one has a single complaint. We refer everyone we know to them. When we got solar, no one knew about this company. That has changed, and for a reason. 11/10 recommend. Don’t go with anyone else!

Loved the entire experience!From our salesperson [Sarah] to the actual installers, overall process went very well.Sarah somehow got us squeezed into the New 2.0 deadline which was a big deal for us. She was always available for any questions before and during the install process.New Day quoted us more total panels on our hard to fit roof shape, than any other Solar company. This was essential as our electricity bill is very high due to SCEs time of use rates.It took five days to complete the install. The first day Renee and Xander completed the panel mounts. They were very efficient.The second day Johnathan and Manuel ran the conduit in the attic and drilled holes in the roof. I surveyed the attic and this looked to be a nicely done job as the attic is a hard place to work inside.Third day team lead Ryan and his awesome crew [Manuel, Marcus, William, Lacen, Xander and Johnathan] completed the majority of the install with the Enphase inverter inside the garage and Qcell Qpeak 405 panels on the roof.Ryan was a pleasure to deal with and answered all my questions patiently.Last day was a cool breeze as the Lake Elsinore city inspector checked out the install and PTO was granted. We were generating power :)The Arrivy app New day Solar used is very informative and details the work being done and whos doing it.Cassandra was also great in informing us about our upcoming appointments and was available for any questions we had about the time slots.So glad we went with New Day solar. The whole experience with New Day Solar was great. We tried to go through another company but that wasnt working and our contact person with them changed just about every month. Olivia was our sales rep with New Day Solar and she is awesome. She is very knowledgeable and responded to any questions I had right away. We were very pleased with the service we received from New Day Solar. What sold me from the beginning was the extra effort and patience provided by Walter in the sales/planning department. He took the time to plan and discuss several options for our system. Their price definitely beat the big out of town companies for the same exact equipment. The installation went smoothly and the crew seemed very organized. We just had our Riverside County inspection and waiting for the Southern California Edison inspection which should go smoothly also. There were some minor issues to work out after installation but were resoved quickly and professionally. I would recommend getting a quote from them and getting your system in before NEM 3.0 takes effect. New Day Solar is first class.

I highly recommend New Day Solar! They are in my opinion the best solar company in the area. They have been doing solar for decades. This was important to me because I know they are going to be in business for the next two decades too. A warranty is only as good as the business that gives it. I felt confident that they will be around for many years to come in case I ever need them. They had the best financing program. When other companies where selling me a lease, New Day Solar allowed me to buy my solar. This way in 12 years I will be energy independent and I wont have to keep paying a lease for 25 years! Installation was quick! It was installed in one day and they cleaned up everything. You couldnt even tell they were there. This is a family business and they have outstanding customer service.

It has been almost 5 years since New Day Solar installed my solar system and I have been so happy not having an electric bill, especially when I just read that SDG&E is going to raise their rates by 5.7%.I cant say enough about my experience with New Day Solar. Their customer service is exemplary! They made the entire process easy and if I call them with any questions or concerns, everyone at their companyis friendly and willing to help me and answer my questions.They did a great job installing my solar, leaving no conduit on my roof. In fact, Ive got the best looking solar system in the neighborhood!The installers were polite and professional. Our sales consultant -Scott, was so knowledgeable, patient and explained the entire process to me.He designed our system and listened to my concerns about where to run the conduit.On installation day Oscars team installed it in one day and we were given permission to turn on from SDG&E shortly after.My system is beautiful and works just as they said it would.Ive seen some questionable solar installations in my neighborhood, but mine is definitely not one of them!I am extremely happy with my experience with New Day Solar and I highly recommend them

I spent a while trying to educate myself on for solar for my recently purchased house. From understanding the difference between kilowatts installed to kilowatt-hours produced, panel orientation, inverters, price/watt installed, and trying to familiarize myself with system and panel efficacy and price to performance trade-offs.I almost immediately eliminated some of the big national companies like Sunrun & Tesla. I made a spreadsheet of local companies and their price/watt installed. After narrowing it down to 5 companies, I then started looking at BBB & Yelp to try to gauge if I might encounter issues.It came down to 2 companies, both of which I’m thinking would have been fine, though one had a slight edge and it was New Day Solar, which happened to be the only company where I had run into someone who had their system installed by them and they have great things to say about their experience.I called Mike Echan (Hope I’m not misspelling) of New Day Solar. I explained I was looking to purchase a 12,500-watt system. Though he would need to do some due-diligence, he was able to immediately give me a price per watt and follow it up some information. I received the simple information as well as the usually multi-colored pamphlet which I typically am uninterested in.New Day Solar was slightly higher than the other company, but I ultimately went with New Day as I felt they would perform and the overall experience would be positive. They worked with me to help bridge the gap between them and their competitor and their contract terms seemed fair, ie final payment due at either inspection sign-off or PTO (permission to operate).Communication with all of New Day has been excellent with everyone. Mike’s a pleasure to deal with and will either pick up your call or return your voicemail/text quickly. Sierra (probably misspelled) kept me up to day on my permit progress. Dane scheduled installation and even offered to bump my install date by a week.The field guys were also awesome. Oscar & Ivan performed an electric panel upgrade to a 200-amp service. They had the power out for about 4-hours. I’m a C-10 licensed electrician and a building/construction inspector. I take pride in my work and they did a better job than I might have… A++ workmanship.The installers were also great. They showed up for their first of two days when the electric panel was being upgraded. Ryan, Mihael, Chris & Kaden were neat and efficient. All of the disconnects and wires were run in the attic cavity. They worked hard and well together and generally seemed fairly happy or at least… definitely not miserable which is again a testament to New Day Solar as a company.By the end of t he 2nd day, any broken roof tiles had been replaced and the stucco patch was painted, making the entire install a 2-day process..Nothing but really good things to say and I feel the least I can do is repay their professionalism and the great job by memorializing very positive experience.Shop around and get a good price. Also make sure you check references but 100% consider New Day Solar.

New and existing solar home owners - Have you thought about battery storage? I did not either until recently when I asked Scott of New Day Solar to arrange for the installation of a generator backup system to the solar panels. That is not his main business however, he has done it before and agreed, and provided a good price. Scott later on asked if I have given any thought to battery storage. I had not because the last time I checked the costs seemed too far out of range.Long story short, I now have a battery backup for selected circuits in my home that will activate when the power company cuts off power (which they can do anytime w/o warning under certain conditions). But, thanks to Scott asking a question he quoted a battery system in the same price range as a generator, but battery systems qualify for a IRA tax break whereas generators do not. So it makes the battery system less costly than a generator. In addition, there are no scheduled maintenance contracts of the generator system or worrying about keeping the fuel fresh.I am so pleased with New Day Solar and all the staff members that came on our property to complete the battery installation work. They all are talented, easy to work with and cleaned up afterwards better than any other contractor I have dealt with for the last 29 yrs.since we built our home.I have worked with Scott and Mary Carlson, the owners of New Day Solar for 10 yrs starting with our original solar panels and have been very pleased with their attention and services provided both before during and after installation. New Day Solar staff are just as cooperative and helpful after the installation as they were before.I highly recommend New Day Solar for your battery and solar systems.

We cannot rave high enough about New Day Solar! Phenomenal company, outstanding crew and amazing owners!I will admit, I was not a believer in solar. However, after numerous homes in our area getting solar installed, along with the recent rate hikes by SCE, we decided to research it further.Scott and Mary are wonderful! They took the time to come to our home, discuss the features, advantages and benefits along with answering every question we could possibly throw at them.Because solar is an investment, they were not only patient, but understanding that this is not an overnight decision, and was best made after a well thought out plan. Scott and Mary gave us numerous options to choose from and the advantages or disadvantages pertinent to our home.In the end, we selected the system that exceeded our regular usage (as we are ultra conservative).The permits, installation, inspections, plans, Blue prints and everything else was handled flawlessly by New Day Solar.The day of installation started promptly on time and completed ahead of schedule. New Day Solar has been voted multiple times The Inland Empire’s Best Solar Company, as well as, The Temecula Chamber Of Commerce Sterling Business Of The Year & it’s no doubt why. They ARE THE BEST!! The entire process...from inquiring, to quote, to application, to installation, to turn-on was fairly easy & totally painless. The owners, Scott & Mary Carlson, have over 30 years of experience in the industry & their endless knowledge & ability to communicate it is priceless. They are both closely & actively involved in the day to day operations. We were always kept informed & we had absolute confidence in our decision throughout completion. The Carlson’s have built an incredible business with an incredible team. Every employee/team member we worked with was very friendly & professional, not to mention, total experts in their field/trade. It was clear to us that everyone took pride in the company & the quality of work they provided as a whole. Olivia was our sales coordinator and she was a pleasure to work with. On the day of installation Olivia showed up with Starbucks coffee, orange juice and a variety of super yummy pastries for us AND the workers as well. This entire company has heart and it shows. I am so pleased with New Day Solar that I can hardly believe it myself. We had inverter problems, called the original installer, was told they had sold the repair part of the business but they gave me the phone and e-mail addresses of who to contact, never received a reply. Called another local firm, same results! Contacted Sunny Boy, maker of the inverter, never a reply. Called New Day, talked to an actual person, was told they were very busy so it may be 2 weeks before they could come out. 2 days later they had time so sent a man out. He diagnosed the problem and arranged to get a replacement inverter at no cost because it was still under warranty. 4 days later received the new unit, 2 more days and New Day installed it. Solar now back up to speed. I am one happy camper!!! Our system was first installed in 2004, and with only a couple of minor glitches, is still going strong!

I’d give them more stars if I could. We requested a quote a years ago. We were given financial options. We told them that wed contact them when we were ready. They didnt annoy us or used high pressure sales tactics like other solar companies.When we chose them, they immediately put our plan together. While pulling the solar permit, they learned that our pool permit (previous owner) wasnt finalized. New Day Solar helped us get the pool permit finalized.The pipes were installed through the attic and not visible through the exterior of the house. As I look around at our neighbors with solar, I think, they should have hired New Day Solar.Their staff is super friendly and clean. We could not have asked for an easier process.

New Day Solar is the finest solar and electrical contractor I have ever hired. Im a facilities and construction project manager that manages many commercial and residential properties. I hire contractors of all trades for a variety of projects. New Day Solar is one of the most efficient, organized and pleasant contractors I have ever had work for me. They installed 34 high efficiency panels on my roof at my personal home and installed a new 200 amp electrical service panel for me. I was extremely impressed with New Day Solar. I did my research and spoke to people with solar panels and decided to go with NDS. Daren originally helped me get everything set up. He was extremely knowledgeable and did not make me feel pressured. He was always quick to respond and very helpful and personable.Sarah helped me get everything else set up and scheduled. She was just as knowledgeable and always responded quickly. I appreciate her putting up with my many questions.Ryan and his crew (Kadyn, Manuel and Adrian) installed the panels and they were quick, thorough and polite and did everything in the span of one day. They even made sure to clean up after themselves when navigating between the inside and outside of my house which was appreciated.Rene was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time making sure the electrical and wiring was completed correctly and because of the odd structure of my house it was difficult to get some of the wiring through but he managed to do it. He also took time to answer my questions (even those unrelated to solar) which I appreciated. Ivan was very helpful as well and polite, even offered to help me fix my screen door that had fallen which he absolutely did not need to do but further showed how caring everyone at NDS is. New Day Solar is simply the most professional and most efficient solar solution in San Diego and Southern California. I say efficient because the system was installed on time, permitted quickly, and it was done at a good price. We had a residential system installed on our home in Allied Gardens in January and we could not be happier with the install process and NOT HAVING A POWER BILL! We had ZERO leaks in our roof during the El Nino storms. The owners Mary and Scott do a terrific job and offer incredibly fair prices. I learned that they are both from the San Diego area have been doing solar since 1988 so they have a deep knowledge of Solar and what products are solid. Its nice to know that we can pick up the phone and call the actual owner/installer if we need anything. It’s rare nowadays to find a business that prides itself on great customer service, quality products, and ethical business practices. That would be New Day Solar. The Carlson’s have been in the business for over thirty years and selling and installing solar systems is all that they do and they’re good at it. They aren’t a big conglomerate, they have purposely limited the size of their business model to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and service while maintaining very reasonable pricing. They don’t sell solar as a side business to roofing, kitchen remodels, or appliance repairs and they won’t persuade you to buy something you don’t need or want. If you’re not a candidate for solar on your house or business, they will tell you that. They are well respected solar specialists and their reputation is renowned throughout SoCal as evidenced by the “Best of Inland Empire” awards they have received for the past four years running. During our installation, the crew was friendly, courteous, efficient, and ready with an answer to all of our questions. On completion, the team leader did a walk-through of the roof area, garage, and surrounding yard to ensure everything was clean, then familiarized us with the equipment to our satisfaction. Really. Go with confidence and give them a call and see for yourself that there is still integrity and reliability in the solar market place.

I cant say enough about the total experience and entire crew of New Day Solar. After interviewing several other solar companies we thought we had decided on a proposal but I reached out to Mike Echan as a result of reading all of the excellent reviews on Yelp and Next Door Greer Ranch. Could not have made a better decision. From the initial contact and proposal, Mike did an excellent job of presenting a total solution that met our needs both from a system standpoint along with excellent financing options. Since I had already received several other proposals and quotes I was blown away by the overall system pricing and financing as it was simply the best. Brandon jumped in and helped to get the HOA approval, city approval and everything else ready for the install. Once we had all of the approvals in place, Mike/Brandon scheduled the install and the New Day Solar Team showed up. What a team, Ivan and the entire crew did an excellent job ensuring everything went smoothly and as planned always making sure I was in the loop and they LISTENED! Cant say enough about the entire team, Oscar was excellent in installing a brand new panel and ensuring everything else was completed and stayed on the job until everything was working. Before installing solar panels at my residence, I did a lot of research into all the reviews for local solar installation companies in my area. At the top of the ratings list was New Day Solar. Afterwards, I set up an appointment to have a representative, Daren Webster, come out and speak with me and my wife. My entire time speaking with Daren was very educational and he explained things about going solar that no other company even bother mentioning. In all, I found out that purchasing solar would cost me less money than what I was paying to Edison. After I agreed to purchase a 5.25 kilowatt system, I had to wait a few months for New Day solar to do my installation, which is due to the high demand of solar and the fact that this companies reputation is keeping their services in high demand. As far as my installation went, it took New Day solar 1 day to install 21 solar panels. I was thouroughly impressed with the quality of workmanship and materials. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to purchase solar for their home or business. Plus their prices are very competitive and they have financing options that work very well with the 30% federal tax credit.

My solar system was installed in late 2012 and Ive been so pleased with the price, installation and the customer service. I live in Ramona in an all electric home and my system (20 panels and micro inverters) covers about 80% of my year round electricity needs. With SDG&E rates going up Im so glad to have most of my costs locked in. Scott Carlson and his team are real professionals and a pleasure to work with. From start to finish the process has been great. Quality materials, friendly and knowledgeable employees. They kept me up to date on the process. Ive only had the system on for a few days, but it is performing as expected, better in fact. If youre financing, they have the best pricing, and competitive with others even if youre not. Also, they used LG panels, which are considered some of the best. Believe I know. I must have gotten a dozen quotes. I had a positive experience with most, but New Day had the best deal for me. With all the horror stories Ive read, I had no idea how long it would take to get up and running. It only took about 3 months once I made the decision. And that includes the month SCE took to give the go ahead to operate. I highly recommend New Day Solar.

They were fast, considerate, clean, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and did an impeccable job from start to finish. I would choose this company and this team all over again. I compared a few solar providers before choosing New Day. The had the best combination of price and quality. The other vendors did not give much thought into placement of the panels. Wende worked with me to come up with the optimum array. The other vendors wanted to lay down conduit but New Day was willing to make the run through my attic giving a much better look to the installation.

In 2009 my wife and I had Baker Electric Solar install our 24 panel system. The Sun Power Inverter recently failed. Baker said they could only replace the Inverter with a refurbished one and their pricing was unreasonably high. Our daughter and son in law had New Day Solar install a full system. Their experience with New Day Solar was 5 star so I called New Day Solar and they told me they could install a new Inverter which would work in my system without issue and their pricing was reasonable. Justin of New Day came out, installed the new Inverter, his install work was 5 star, Inverter is working perfectly. Siara at New Day kept me timely and fully informed. I recommend - stay away from Baker, and use New Day Solar.

I have had a solar system for 10 years, very happy with its performance. Recently, the original installer, Real Good Solar, went out of business. They just closed shop, walked away. I lost all monitoring. I was concerned, not so much with the operation, but didnt like the idea of not being able to follow production and operation. Additionally, I recently purchased an electric car so was considering more panels. I reached out to my original solar designer, Wende Aronson, who had moved over to New Day Solar. In a short period, Wende and the New Day team developed a plan for adding additional panels, yet stay with the solar favorable Net metering 1.0 plan, and adding state-of-the-art Sense monitoring system that not only monitors solar production, but all my electrical usage down to the component level. They provided an estimated date for installation, beat it and actually installed in 2 phases so they could start up monitoring of the existing system while they waited for the new panels. Both crews were very professional. The new system has been great, I am confident it will give me many more years of solar production, and this time I am confident that New Day will be around for the duration given their uninterrupted business since 1988.

I am SO glad the Carlsons are still in the solar biz. Scott installed my system in Mira Mesa in June 2001 for the best price and with the best service. And when I recently decided that I needed a set of lithium batteries, I was so pleased to see hes still going strong. I had high hopes for this company because they post good prices online but those are deceiving once you find out the cost of financing.
