I have brought in my laptop a couple of times. This last time, my sons Switch as well. Each time, my laptop comes out that much better (its old!) I feel like his prices are extremely fair for the work he puts into it, and have had no problems with any of the parts he has serviced. When my sons Switch broke, I was really nervous about how to address it and was super relieved when I was assured it would be an easy and quick fix.

Nerdy Dave’s is the best electronic repair around !!!!!!My computer crashed last Friday so I was searching for a new place close to home to get it fixed. I didn’t want to take it back where I had it fixed 1 1/2 years ago with a new hard drive. I called Nerdy Dave’s to get an idea what my problem might be and from what I told him he said it sounded like my hard drive had crashed. Since it was Friday afternoon I had to wait till Monday morning to take it in. Nerdy Dave checked out my computer as I waited and yes the hard drive was done as well as the power supply. I asked Nerdy Dave if he could use my old drive I had to replace 1 1/2 years ago and try to get the data off of it as the other shop said they had trouble but could still xget my data. Nerdy Dave checked out the year and a half old drive that had been replaced and it was working fine. Nerdy Dave was able to clone the drive, replace the power supply with a few other improvements.Nerdy Dave had my computer working like it was before the crash (minus the year and a half of data sense the last replacement) and I got it back on Tuesday the next day. I can’t thank Nerdy Dave enough for saving the day, our computer and data at a very reasonable price. His number is 530/903/3434 and his office is in Placerville . Dave is professional, communicates well, and he’s just as talented as he is fast. I walked in with an iPhone 11 that had busted back and front glass and within 15 minutes I walked out of his store with a fixed phone!

Excellent customer care and service and very knowledgable. He stopped what he was doing and dianosed my computer problem. The computer was not repairable so he removed the disc drives and put them in another computer of the same model and had all my previous programs up and running. All this was done in just a couple of hours and for a very reasonable price. Very short down time! Amazing!

This is a follow up. Several months ago Dave replaced the battery in my (very old) Android phone. Just wanted to say how very pleased I am with the result. The current battery read-out says 4 days left - this is one strong battery and I am getting more life out of my phone. Thank you again.

I had such a great first experience here! Dave fixed my computer within 40 mins(I had dropped it and the frame bent so the power button was stuck and wouldn’t turn on). Him and his receptionist were so down to earth and fixed it at such a reasonable rate. Definitely would recommend them for any repairs to your computer. This will be my go to spot from now on.

A really nice guy who knows his stuff! The back glass and camera lense on my $1200 phone shattered, and my useless phone insurance wanted me to replace the whole phone for $250 instead of just the glass when the phone was fine! What a scam! Dave got the part ordered lickety split, less than a week, and changed it out in only a couple minutes no problem! It only cost me $58! Wonderful local business with the skill and know-how to save you from corporate price gouging. Friendly, fast, efficient family-run local business, I highly recommend!

Dave was fast, friendly, and always willing to answer my questions about the repair process. Always fast to communicate. The real star is his quality of work. I sent in my Virtual Boy to get some micro soldering done. As someone who does soldering here and there you can tell his quality of work is top notch. He uses high end equipment and has shown me that he takes care with his work. He will definitely get my business in the future!

I was a little bummed when he wasnt able to do what I needed done ( HDMI port) since everything else he could do😞 but he made it up by referring me to a friend that could!! Thanks nerdy Dave!!... Not sure if your reply to my 4 star was a happy or upset one, but to be honest my only intent was to say how I really appreciated you helping me when you couldnt help if thats makes, but really you dont see that kind of customer service very much any more and it was good to see that still in exsistance. So I changed it to what it does rightfully deserve and thats at star.

My broken computer was under warranty through Citibank Costco. They required a written estimate for repairs. Dave was able to provide that to me in only one day. When the repairs were authorized by Citibank, Dave fixed it for me. The whole process with Dave was effortless. So rare to find service and quality like this anymore! Nerdy Dave saved me $125.00USD by bringing my Virtual boy back to a state of Near New!He talked with me the whole time and gave me tracking info so I never felt like my system was lost! He prices were low so I didnt feel as though I broke the bank. And as for turn around my system was back before I knew it was gone! Dave has saved two of my computers. I was used to Apple Genius Bar which took days to get repaired and wait in line and they were never on time after a 1.5 hour drive. Dave’s local service is absolutely wonderful. He’s friendly and willing to look into any kind of a solution and his service has always been prompt and reasonably priced

I dropped off a storage bin with 3 old laptops dating back to 2000 with Dave last week. I knew they contained pictures that I did not have saved elsewhere but knew I wanted. Without passwords or any idea where to start, I was just about to give up but Dave was able to save all of the info in that bin on one flash drive which I was able to pick it up the next day. Plus he disposed of my old laptops at no charge. I wish all of my storage problems could be solved so efficiently! Highly recommend!

He was quick with his work. Took about 20 minutes to solder a piece or equipment that wasn’t necessarily a computer part but it was a circuit board from a car. I am very pleased he fixed it for an amazing price too!!!! Definitely worth the 50 minute drive from Sacramento!

Great people, great customer service. I was so impressed with their knowledge and experience. I was thinking I needed to purchase a brand new computer .Dave informed me that all my hardware was up to date and if I replaced the hard drive, I would basicly have a new computer that would last for many years to come and not be out dated. He was able to save most of files and I could never imagined that could have been accomplished.The service was timely within a day.I will never go anywhere else with any computer, tablet, or phone problems.I give Dave my strongest recommendation and will never go anywhere else . Brought my PC to him that had startup heating issues that I couldnt find on the internet. The problem didnt replicate when I brought it to him, but he ran my computer through all sorts of tests, tweaked a few things and I brought it back home and it worked. Please support this business! I live in the bay area where my Apple Watch was stolen and it somehow ended up in this shop. Its been a couple years since i actually went in to see him, but honestly, the moment i saw the self-repair manifest on the wall was the moment i was able to relax. this guy is cool. he knows his stuff about computers.he got me a good PSU/CPU/motherboard for reasonable prices (i still use the rig today, though with a new graphics card since i saw him before!). he was able to figure out my issue pretty quickly, offered me solutions, and helped install the new parts.anyway. 5/5. this guy rocks. lgbt ally just by virtue of fixing a trans persons (me) computer
