They fixed what I needed at a good price but the customer service left some to be desired. I wasn’t ever called when my product was fixed and the welcome when you go in the shop is nonexistent

I dropped off my Ps5 on a Saturday and explained the problem. They said they would look at it before they closed but I never heard anything from them. So then I waited for them to call me Monday but didnt and so I called them. When I asked for an update they said they were testing it by watching a movie. I never said that there was a problem with that so it was just a waste of time. The lady who helped me didnt even know how to turn the ps5 off so it was as if she never even worked on one. Overall this place was terrible and would not recommend it at all. There was very poor communication and they have people there who have no idea what they are doing. I would go somewhere where they have actual experience and know what they are doing. This isnt that place.

10/10 service! The spacebar on my Macbook Pro broke and other computer repair centers told me Id have to get a whole new keyboard totaling out to about $500. Nerd repair center warned me about this, but said theyd do their best to only replace the spacebar key, and they did just that. I believe it cost about $120 for labor plus the part, and Im really happy they made it work so I didnt have to pay for a whole new keyboard top. This was back and April and my spacebar hasnt had an issue since. Shout out Mike, youre the man!

Literally went everywhere locally and nobody would dare touch my tablet and Nerd Repair Center fixed it in a pinch for a very great price. Before I came here the other repair shops told me to go to Microsoft, but not even Microsoft fixes these anymore. I never do reviews, but you should give these kind people your business if you’re in the North Park or City Heights area — or if you can go out your way to come here then you should. 👍

We had a very good experience with Nerd Repair Center, beginning with office reception. Mike, who came to our home to pick up our TV, and then brought it back, was great. The turn-around time was short and the price seemed very reasonable, so we were very happy.

Super professional, friendly, & efficient in diagnosing my Sony TV that kept going out - electric adapter plug no longer working. My $40 service fee applied to purchase of new adapter plug/cord which ended up being the same & no further cost.Helped bring out my large tv to my car.Will definitely use again & recommend.Just know shop store front is rather small in space upon entering the shop.

Mike, the owner, was a great guy, seemed honest and very professional. He tells you up front how much it’s going to cost so there’s no surprises. He saved my tablet the same day I took it in and his prices are fair. If I have any electrical-device issues Nerd Repair will be the first place I go to for now on.

Short answer unreasonable expectations of service. I was given the expectation of 2 hours and instead it lasted a day and a half.My Nintendo DS worked perfectly fine until a pen was out of alignment.They told me it would take 2 hours to check my device to appraise the cost of a fix. And at the minimum cost to fix it was $45.4 hours later I call and someone tells me their Wi-Fi is down so they cannot check how much its going to cost.I called him the next day at around1: 00pm... They still have not checked my device. But they have been busy fixing other things.I could not get an answer for a time frame for them to look at my device.If they told me they were that busy and it would have taken a couple days I would have been more understanding.Personally I feel like I got jerked around.

Had such an amazing experience. Normally I dont like going to Mom and Pop shops, because I feel the quality wont be as great as well known shops. However, the cost to fix my phone screen was reasonable, and the job was done within 30 minutes ! Thanks so much Mike and Zach.

I called and came to the shop without appointment nearly a month ago seeking repair for my 27 1440p 155hz monitor less popular brand, as when it broke I can remember hearing something fried, the monitor would not turn on or display even after changing power & display cables. I came to the shop with my monitor and the welcoming clerk was attentive and helpful even when I could not provide the power & display cable as well as the monitor stand! The diagnosis was 40dol and a day after dropping it off I was informed that it was still repairable! I requested that the monitor to be fixed within the week because I was leaving for a trip, and only 3 DAYS later they had the monitor running like new!!! They let me know that the main board had fired but they were still able to replace and fix the monitor which ran me roughly 140dol, and in the end I was able to save money repairing than buying a new equal monitor! Their service was friendly, laid back professional and timely! I am very grateful they were able to repair my monitor thank you again Nerd Repair Center team!!!TLDR; 10/10 stars service my 27 1440p 155hz monitor was successfully repaired and I saved money with repair versus buying brand new/equal performance/feature monitor! Tender at front of house was extremely helpful and kind, amazing&quick service!!!

When I picked up my tv I met three of the staff that work at nerd repair. All of them were friendly, helpful and courteous. Nerd repair center will be my goto tv service repair company.

Replaced motherboard in TV only to find it needed new heat sensor. Replaced heat sensor only to find out new motherboard was defective. Replace defective new motherboard & TV appears to be working fine. Mike the owner/technician was responsive, professional & helpful. Although I had some problems getting TV fixed he hung in there until he got it working properly. I would go back & highly recommend them.

Great service. The best thing about this place is the owner and how he handles the service. Very honest, straightforward and hassle free service. You know what to expect very clearly [including from the other staff members], very prompt follow ups and finally you get what was offered for a very reasonable pricing. My laptop was taken care even for things that I had not asked for but he said he updated softwares depending on what was available for my old Macbook. Recommend this place anytime

Dropped off two non mainstream phones for repair, a Razer 2 and Asus ROG 3. One had a bad USB port and the other a broken screen. I seriously tried every phone repair company in SD without exaggeration. This place is absolutely awesome and fixed what others refused to even look at.

I broke my tv trying to connect some lights from behind, unfortunately the motherboard burned and this place told me what the problem was the next day and in 5 days my television was like new again and for a reasonable price

Went in with a tablet from China that no one else of the 10 places that says they fix computers and tablets not knowing what to expect with my three kids. Need assistance with bringing tablet to factory settings. 10 places just shook there heads or said leave it here and we might get it done tomorrow. But need repair got it done with h in 20 minuets. Not super cheap but cheaper then geek squad. Would have been 5 stars but no ac with 3 kids.Thank you nerds.....😀

The only reason Im giving this place 3 stars is because they took the time to fix my phone. I should of stayed there until I was sure my phone worked. I didnt they got my phone on & thats what I needed to be able to retrieve some text messages but as soon as I got home my phone wouldnt turn on. I paid $20 for them to charge my phone. & I wasnt able to retrieve my messages Bad Deal!

So bad service, first he broke my laptop and he fix it and after 1 month it broke again byself from the part he fix it and I gave it to him to fix it again but he broke another part and told me it was like that when I brought it to him, but I am pretty sure it wasnt.When I paid with my credit card he charged me 4 $ more said that is the way we do in US.I dont recommend that shop at all

Brought my computer to get it fixed after i smashed it to the floor because it had this stupid virus that was making it freeze and running very slow (which i regretted). Long story short i was driving by and saw the nerd repair sign, so i stoped to figure out if my computer was fixable. The guy was very friendly and told that i could take it in when i have time and he will do a free diagnosis. A week later i brought it in and he determined that there was a problem with the charging port (maybe from the slam i gave it)i asked if it could be fixed he said yes but he will need to get the part. The price to repair was much less than the $800 i was planing to buy a new laptop so i asked him to proceed with the repair. After a few days to my surprise i received a phonecall from him that the cumputer was repair. He told me noticed a glitch in the system and told me there was some virus (which i already known) i asked if they could fix it and he said as a courtesy he will do it with no additional expence. This was by far one of the best customer service that i had in a while and i will definately take my business there again. I ended up spending a extra buck buying a phone charger that i needed also.

The guy tried to make it sound like a favor that they would accept cash for the deposit, will never bring a tv here again.

Service took a little longer than expected (a whole month), but my tablet was one I purchased while in Dubai. So the part took longer to get here. My only problem was the lack of communication, other than that the people were friendly and kind and the my device works like new again.

Great place to get mostly any type of electronic repair, Mike, the technician that does all the repairs and builds is very helpful and patient to what you have to say, the Manager, Veronica is always there to listen to what you need from Mike, very professional, however in the past that have done a one time fee for the services, now it is hourly, so be prepared to fork over a lot if you plan to stay here for a while, but still highly recommended.
