Neptune is in such a great location along the marina. Theres a lot of nice amenities too. The resident services hosts resident events from time to time which have been awesome lately. Very appreciative of my stay so far!

Don’t move in unless you enjoy living in a building without elevators. Their elevators are broken ALL THE TIME so you’re essentially paying overpriced/premium rent for a “stairs only” apartment. Get it together Neptune.This “temporary” sign might as well be permanently painted on since it’s always out of service. Never temporarily.

If you’d like to keep your nerves, don’t move into 4403. We’re moving out from this apt this month because of the neighbor upstairs. Knowing that in this building there is a lack of soundproofing, she wears heels in the apartment (this isn’t a joke, she confirmed that in a person conversation). I feel that I literally live with our neighbor and cannot relax at home neither daytime nor nighttime. I talked to leasing office, called a lot of times during nights to courtesy patrol but nothing changed.Of course, I understan they can do nothing cause there is a problem in a construction itself. Our neighbor downstairs has also experienced the same situation with us when we’ve moved in. We talked to each other and solved this problem by putting a carpet on the noisiest area and started acting more mindful. But this way hasn’t worked with our neighbor upstairs and since last May/June (when our neighbor moved in) my life became a nightmare. I literally use earplugs at home every day.I’m so happy to move from Neptune to a quieter place.In fairness, the Neptune building is very beautiful with great amenities such as pool and gyms but not the apartments.P.S. even right now I’m writing this review and listening to hits, heels, barking from upstairs.THIS IS NOT THE PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO LIVE.

We have been living here for five months now and love it. As someone said in another review, it really is like being on vacation all the time - there are so many perks.1) Amenities - beautiful views, several really nice lounge areas, lots of communal areas and grills, resident access to kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, youre within a ten minute walk of the beach, LAX is a couple of miles away if you ever need to catch a flight, Farmers Markets happen every weekend, the most picturesque Cheesecake Factory in the US is only a block away, and the valet trash pickup every night is really convenient.2) Dog friendly - I thought it might be difficult having a dog here, having lived in a house before, but our dog loves it. There are lots of places to walk your dog down Via Marina, and theres a small dog park off Building 4, plus a lot of parks within walking/driving distance.3) The staff - the people that work here are so sweet and responsive, and they work so hard to maintain the place. The cleaners are out almost every morning at 6 AM, maintenance workers are always out and about, the leasing office seems to be open endlessly - it really makes it feel like living in a hotel and Im grateful that the staff are so hardworking (but hope they are taken care of and get a well deserved break).4) Parking - the garage is gated, plus you need a key fob to get up the elevator once youve parked, so it seems really secure and weve never had a problem with theft. There is a car washing company on site every week that will wash your car (interior and exterior) for a fee.5) Construction/apartment quality - we toured most of the apartment complexes in Marina Del Rey (that had AC) and I think Neptune and AMLI are the clear winners. Everything in the apartment feels high quality and I rarely hear our neighbors through the walls, the soundproofing is really good. Its also really nice that theres no carpeting in any of the apartments.Overall, we chose renting over buying because we didnt want to have to worry about maintenance and fixing things and Neptune has delivered on that, making it very seamless, easy, and effortless. My only complaint is I wish we could get a free coffee/espresso machine in the lobby one day.

Neptune Marina is a very modern looking apartment complex, the amenities are brand new and its relatively clean. I live here and my biggest problem is the walls are EXTREMELY thin for a building that is supposed to be new. Unfortunately, my upstairs neighbors are constantly playing music and stomping around but I dont completely blame them because the walls are so thin that if they even run their washing machine, I can hear it through the ceiling. I would not recommend moving here for the price point.

I moved to Neptune Marina a few months ago, and I am so happy with how clean, modern, and quiet my apartment is. I feel so relaxed and happy every day I wake up to my amazing view. I feel like I live at a fancy hotel. Living in LA, the weather has been great to still use pool & hot tub, and the gym has all new equipment and feels so private that I cancelled my gym membership.In addition to the amazing views & amenities, the entire staff has been amazing since day one. They made my move-in a breeze, and every time I have a question, I just swing by the office and they are always happy to help me with anything. Compared to my last apartment complex, the staff and my neighbors I have met are super friendly, which is refreshing.This place is just so beautiful, and I feel like a live a resort every day. I am so happy I made the move to Neptune...and only wish I did it sooner.

Neptune is a beautiful community with lots of modern amenities. The rent prices are second highest in all of Marina Del Rey. The security of the property has become a major issue though. My car has been broken into twice in the last 2 months, bicycle stolen and motorcycle severely damaged while theft was attempted. There are no cameras in the garage, no security and the building is refusing to take responsibility for the crime sprees that have been happening to me and other residents. I would be careful when signing up to pay $5k per month for a 1BR, as none of your vehicles or their contents will be secure.

My girlfriend and I just moved into Neptune and we love it. Such a clean community and brand new. Tommy in the leasing office was great to work with and he was extra nice. We went with a top floor unit and we love our apartment. The amenities are incredible at Neptune and we cant wait to explore more. This location is amazing and everyone we have met so far has been so nice. Thanks again Tommy for all your help and I highly recommend checking out Neptune if you are looking for a new, clean and awesome community on the Marina.

This is a very accommodating and serene building, with beautiful design and interiors. Pete in the leasing office is fantastic with service and kindness and also plans events for the building which are always fun. The community manager Jeremy, is also just as kind and accommodating. Not only did he give me the parking spot I requested but when I had some trouble with noise he nipped it in the bud for me and made sure my experience here at Neptune was peaceful. Estela the leasing manager is also an absolute pleasure and so kind to my pets! In fact, the whole staff here will love your furry family, even maintenance. I’m very grateful to be living here! The pool and amenities are also to die for with included complimentary kayaking and paddle boarding!

Everyone here is extremely nice, from neighbors to staff and surrounding communities! The amenities are really awesome— we can’t wait for kayak rentals soon implemented. Elevators and trash valet made moving in and unpacking much easier. There is so much natural light in our apartment, and lots of airflow when opening the windows! Any noise from outside is easily taken care of with the soundproofing from the windows. Our building manager Alex is so helpful and great to talk with about anything needed. Extremely happy to be living here with a short walk to the water to see the boats around us!

Its sad. A beautiful complex but the noise is unbearable. My last major rental was in a Greystar building. So disappointed. This is my second unit here. Its unconscionable and not unethical to rent apartments that cost thousands of dollars a month and not be able to enjoy your apartment peacefully. The insulation is horrible and the floors are thin. Unlike anything I have ever encountered. Management says they cant do anything. No heat or air condition and lots of electrical outlets not working and I keep having to reset the breakers. Shameful. Nice staff but not helpful if they cant improve conditions. My packages.are missing too. Neighbors have no consideration for others. I spoke to them nicely and things have only gotten worse from there.

The staff members at Neptune Apartments have been unbelievably friendly and generous every time I’ve stopped by their lobby. Whenever I walk my dog she insists that we stop by Neptune and that’s because Estella from the Leasing Office is so kind to her and she offers treats whenever we stop by. Today when we stopped in, May from the Leasing office greeted us and rolled out the red carpet of treats and offered us both complimentary beverages. I don’t even live in the apartment complex, but if this is how they treat their neighbors, I can only imagine that it’s a wonderful place to live! Thank you Estella and May!

Cleaned with TOXIC ZEP Brand Shampoo Carpet Fluid. Skin Hazard, Breathing Hazard. Used on Cooking Grill inside and surface. Call Poison Control asap. Terrible. No Smoking Building, yet the C**t below Us smokes in her unit daily. Leasing doesnt do anything. Claim they will, they dont. After Hours Security claims theyll check on it. Yet Nothing is done. After hours Security # is a call center dispatch that calls someone on site. Good luck with that. Weed Smoke Smell Everywhere. Oh yeah did we Mention Section 8 Affordable Housing allowed. Good luck with that. Thats a whole other problem. Starting at $4,000.00 & up from there. Never again. Do your Homework. Visit at different times. Dont take the Fake Nice Tours, misleading given tours. If you have neighbors below good luck with the Pounding and knocking on your floors from Floors below. Paper thin walls. Dog smear poop stains on carpet, halls, walkways. Glad Weve Moved out. Never Again.

Your money is better spent at the AMLI next door. Neptune residents are flocking there in troves.If you choose not to heed these warnings and decide to go with Neptune, work with Jeff Macey. He’s a gem.I’ve lived here for almost a year and lived in 2 units because I transferred into a smaller unit. The central theme here is, Neptune staff is unwilling, unable or completely lacking in empathy to keep tenants happy, safe and HERE. And that makes it really difficult to enjoy living here.THE GOOD:- The apartments are nice, spacious with great layouts and lots of amenities.- Marina del Rey is a great, clean dog-friendly community.THE BAD:- They force you to pay an extra $35/month, on top of your monthly rent, for “Valet Living,” a service that is supposed to pick up your trash every night. Regardless of whether or not you use the service- you cannot opt out. My trash was not picked up 8+ times over the course of 8 weeks and, after several ignored emails/office visits, I was awarded a ONE month credit.- Despite making a lot of the units low income housing (without letting the community know), they have been hiking up rent prices so high after leases end, tenants aren’t able to afford to sign a new lease. Staff is unwilling to work with tenants, which is why so many embittered Neptune folks move 0.2 miles over to AMLI.- I transferred to a brand new unit… and they didn’t bother to connect the HVAC system, doorbell, make sure all the doors close properly, and other fun things I continue to discover.- There’s been an increase in on-property car break-ins and theft from storage units that tenants pay for monthly. Tenants are obviously going to the Neptune staff for help and improvements to security… with no avail. Staff say they’re aware of the problem but there’s nothing they can do. Comforting.- I can go on, but you get the gist. I wish I didn’t have to interface with staff (or commiserate about issues with Neptune tenants), but alas I have to call the office once a week to get someone to unlock a package spillover room so I can get my packages. This is extremely fun considering the palpable post-Valet Living-complaint tension directed at me.

I sat at the pool with my friend yesterday. When we arrived security at 2pm security had let people begin to reserve chairs at the pool by going in the morning around 9 and laying g out towels. When we got there more than half the chairs were toweled and no one had come to claim them. On a holiday weekend on 4th of July. I believe you have to be a selfish type of person to hold chairs for your friends and family when a community of 4000 use the pool. I hope they change it to first come and not allow people to continue to save seats for people that might never even show up. We got verbally assaulted by a tenants who were so incredibly rude and aggressive I no longer feel safe at the pool.

The staff have always been attentive and easy to work with, especially the manager, Jeremy Richards, who is always extremely professional and went above and beyond for me when I moved out. I can’t say enough good things about the Neptune Marina buildings! Moving in general is stressful but moving during covid sounds even worse right? Well not if you’re coming here! The Neptune staff was so amazing in making the move as stress free as possible, specifically the leasing agent we worked with -Tommy! He was incredible! We were in a big hurry to move, and he made sure we got everything taken care in a matter of days. So if you’re looking to move in to Neptune I highly recommend you ask for Tommy!

The building is clean and new, the staff are friendly and maintenance is prompt and professional. The units are all modern and well appointed. Tommy, Angela, Richard, and Estelle all do a great job. The prices are expensive even for Los Angeles, but you get what you pay, and as someone who has lived in many other complexes nearby, it’s worth it.One thing I must note is how rude and unprofessional the prior building manager Glenn Atmos was. This person went out of his way to target my family for harassment on the most trivial of issues. He made living here absolute hell and increased our stress greatly. It is such a relief that he’s no longer workinghere.Edit: I’m afraid I have to downgrade my original rating of 4 stars to 1 given the package situation. Packages are often not delivered to the lockers and are instead left in the lobby (where they are vulnerable to theft) or put in a black hole overflow room which often takes days or even weeks to successfully retrieve packages from. As a result, I tend to tack on 4-5 days on top of a package’s estimated delivery time in my expectation of arrival when I’m ordering something. Neptune could address this by hiring a mailroom attendant to put the packages in the right lockers but they have not.Another ongoing difficulty is dealing with the fast-talking gaslighting community manager Ashley Hoogerwerf. She presents as friendly and upbeat, but after interacting with her for awhile, it’s clear she lies when the truth is inconvenient to her, often blatantly and to your face. I wish Greystar would vet their employees a bit better. Such character flaws could be effectively filtered for at hiring with better personality testing software. As it is, her lies add an extra level of stress to an otherwise nice place to live.

I would have given more stars however when I received my final charges. Well lets just say they are out to make money. I would not recommend leasing a Greystar property. I reached out to Estela and Jeremy to ask about these ridiculous charges and they dont want to give me the time of day now that I dont live there/ Oh! and my apartment was entered in when I was out of town and the door was not closed once they opened and left opened for days. I lived there by myself and for the little over 2 years. Charging me 404.25 for painting that is not the worst it is the 296.70 for utilities. My monthly utilities were no more that 70.00. Oh! and the den did not have internet/TV capablity I paid to have that put in so I could work. No compensation for that expense on the final bill.......

My boss just moved into these apartments a few weeks ago. Nice, clean, and amenities are awesome. His neighbors seem to be cool, and the security guard was very observant, but really cool. We did meet a nosey neighbor with too many comments, my boss named her Elevator Eleanor. Even old rich white guys are WOKE, lol.

We have stopped by over the weekend without an appointment to look at floor plans we were interested in renting.Although the staff looked bored we were told they were booked for the day and took our info and promised someone would contact us to set up an appointment to see it in next day or two.Two days later no phone call or email. Ok so this one is tricky, so the apartments themselves are 🥰🥰 just GORGEOUS!! The problem isis with the staff!! So apparently if you live here (keep in mind these apartments start around $4000/monthly) you’d think you would be allowed guest, right?! We’ll I guess not because we get harassed EVERY TIME we go to visit my family member!! The “security “ staff attempt to hassle you around by means of intimidation and threaten banishment if you ask any question (mainly if you ask why are you treating us this way?) for the kind of money my family member spends you’d think they’d have enough money to properly train their staff to be polite & courteous! Long story short don’t bother with this place please move on to a more people friendly place!!!!

The entire staff at Neptune has been just awesome. If you are considering moving to the Neptune Marina Apartments, and would like to know of the service is good there AFTER you rent your apartment, then please be assured that you will be well taken care of!My wife and I have an apartment at Neptune. WE have been there now for about 4 months. We also have a home in Mexico.With all of the rising cases associated with COVID, we decided to sit tight in Mexico until the virus numbers calmed down. That caused us to change our original plans to go back to Neptune in December to pick up a ton of Christmas and New Years presents that we had purchased (and had delivered) to our apartment for friends and family.The entire staff there was so understanding of our predicament, and went way beyond the call of duty. They were kind enough to pick up all of our packages (over several weeks), and safely deliver them to our apartment. They were even kind enough to give our poor thirsty plants a badly needed drink of water!The entire Neptune staff helped us at different times, but a special shout out goes out to Ashley Hoogerwerf who really took the lead role for our many needs.The COVID pandemia has been hard for all of us (including the staff at Neptune)! Yet, they still found a way to help us through a very difficult and challenging time. At a time when it seems like finding really good customer service is getting harder to find, we were very grateful and happy that we found it at Neptune Marina!

We lived at the Neptune TWICE over my 6 years in LA. Once with a roommate for 1.5 years and then single. Lovely place to live BUT that doesnt have anything to do with the Neptune. When I last left the Neptune I left a spotless apartment and they presented me with a bill for over $2000 for repairs. What is odd is that they re-carpeted the apt though it had been re-carpeted on my checkin. They said they resurfaced what was an old melamine counter top that had to be 30 years old, their reason being that I had stained it. The trash, water, and sewage bill is indecipherable and expensive. You cannot turn on heat as it is electric ... my first bill was over $500. I did get my attorney involved and some of the charges were reduced. But, Legacy Partners did not own up to padding their exit bill or provide a reason for keeping security deposit. It was bad business in my view. The staff were nice - all of them - so I believe it is a corporate issue. The place is falling down - rotten boards, roof eaves, cement cracked, pitted and cracking plaster and walls. Run down but charming...if you need to live on the water. With rental rate the place ought to be much better in my opinion. But....that SoCal. Sad.

I moved in, the end of July. After spending almost 5 months quarantining in a small dark apartment with no amenities this is a breath of fresh air! Even in the midst of covid they are safely allowing pool access, and hosting events virtually. Its a beautiful, well built building and the front office is amazing. Special shout out to Pete Kleronomos who helped me through the leasing process and has been helping me with any hiccups that have come up in the first getting used to living here stage.

Almost all of the reviews currently are from the old Neptune apartments which was torn down and now a brand new four building luxury apartment complex exists.No one currently resides here as the buildings are still under construction building 3 the flagship of the buildings is almost completed.Building 3 also has the best view of the marina .

Very poorly managed. They don’t care about their tenants. Just look at the carpets or how dirty the fire exits and hallways are. Random parking issues, our neighbors reporting their luxury cars being stolen and broken into. Stay away!

Such a beautiful community in such a beautiful location! It is so relaxing to wake up to the marina and know that everything we need is either within the Neptune Marina Apartments amenities or very very close in the neighborhood.

There is a BIG trash problem here. The unnecessary Valet Trash pickup allows them to charge an extra $46/mo. on top of the trash fee added to your bill. You cannot OPT OUT. For a 5 STAR building, seeing peoples trash outside of their apartment makes the place look like a giant dumpster area. Some people do not bother tying up their trash so it stays there all day and stinks up the place. The Valet people often miss the pick up so the trash sits there until the next day or so. Also, people are allowed to play loud music from 11 pm-5 am waking up the neighbors around them. The walls are TOO THIN so its hit or miss on who your neighbors will be.

Front desk is the first image you get from any place you go to. Kayla, the front desk lady doesn’t represent the office in a proper way and doesn’t deserve to be in a customer service position. She is rude and unprofessional. After my non pleasant experience with her, I change my mind about considering living at Neptune.

I would give negative stars. Rat infested....old pluming (flooded within a month of singing lease), termites, mold, terrible office managers...except the one young african american young lady..she is so pleasant and I hate to give her place of employment negative reviews. DO NOT SIGN LEASE. I am speaking for myself and some of my neighbors. If it wasnt for the cheap rent...actually, scratch that. Id rather pay an extra grand than stay here an extra minute. Thank goodness we dont see eye to eye.

Not only were Estela and Matt super nice, they were very knowledgeable and professional. Ive been apartment searching for weeks and they got me in and out with a new beautiful place in a little over an hour and showed me every amenity. Which was beautiful btw. Thank you!
