I purchased a used Mac Pro from N.E.Y (Neighbors Empowering Youth) and had nothing by problems with it. After trying to trouble shoot the issue myself for 2 months, I discovered that the logic board / processor was failing. I took the computer back and the owner (John Smith) who blamed me for the problems and refused to give me a refund. He then strung me along for 6+ months saying he would replace the computer with a like model once he got one in stock but then reneged and would only exchange it for a much older computer that was worth half of what the one I originally paid for was worth.N.E.Y gets their inventory through donations so if you see a newer computer available from them be aware that it may have been donated because it has problems. Get clarification form the owner on the warranty (if any) and make sure you get any computer you purchase from this company checked out by a qualified tech.

Every experience Ive had with the staff here have been exceptional. If an issue arises, they are more than willing to work out a solution that will satisfy you. The service they are providing to the community is one of the most charitable and selfless things IT professionals can offer, and its truly great to have people who legitimately care about educating and helping the neighborhood. They arent trying to rip anyone off, and the profit from their sales clearly get re-invested in their programs. Thank you for the excellent products, unbeatable prices, and praiseworthy service to the community.
