I joined Navy Federal Credit Union in the Philippines way back in 1987. During those days, you could ONLY join if you were USN, USMC, or USCG AND you were overseas too. I have been with NFCU ever since, and the products, and the people have only gotten better and better in the past 37 years. So, from this “older” Marine Corps Veteran, thank you for all you folks do for every member there at all of Navy Federal locations worldwide and what you have all done for me, and for my family too, for the last 37 plus years!!!!

Staff member I dealt with was so uninterested in my problems and trying to help me obtain a loan. I heard all these good things about Navy Federal and how they work with you. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with them. I like SchoolsFirst much better. I’m going to be closing my account with them.

Outstanding & Consistent customer care, focus and service of the highest quality... that only Navy Fed members enjoy globally and expect from this branch manager. Ive been with NFCU 42 years. I cant say enough about the Brea, CA branch and its branch manager. Her branch is the best around.The NFCU Brea, CA branch manager is a great leader and she exemplifies the values and performance NFCU expects from its managers and staff; so the members have a seemless relationship when ever and where ever they bank. Not to be trite but the same high expectations all US military branches expect from their soldiers, sailors and airmen.NFCU, especially the Brea, CA branch, truly serves its members. This is why Breas branch manager has been tasked, multiple times, to engage and manage other NFCU branches, when necessary, in addition to running Brea, without sacrificing Breas performance.Its why I go out of my way to bank at her branch when possible. Things get done, done right and done the first time- enabling me to live my life and accomplish what I need to do so. Just like other NFCU members.The Brea, CA branch and branch manager are team players, taking interest in client goals and always working to turn those dreams into reality. Her staff is second to none. And yes, in the rare instance an error occurs, the branch accountability is professional and expedient.I have a personal and business relationship with NFCU Brea. Im very happy and treated at a much higher standard than the traditional banks, especially the big 4.For those nay sayers on this site, there is no financial institution thats perfect. Navy fed is close to the exception and why theyre the #1 credit union in the world. And the Brea staff is that good, really good... A genuine reflection of the compassion and values of their leader, their branch manager. True to the core. Period.HIGHLY RECOMMEND NFCU Brea, CA. Oooh - Rah!! Fight On!!

I do not recommend going to this location. Employees rather sit around and talk to each other about non related work, they are lazy, bathroom is nasty, Everytime I come here they always say they can’t help with this and that. I asked for a name change on my debit card and they refused but I was able to call customer service over the phone and they did it with no problem. If you want to get a check cashed by them go somewhere else they will tell you that they can’t cash it because it’s not theirs. I’m tired of this. I will go to an location out of state before I ever come back here.

Do not use navy federal credit Union they are the worst. The worst. I used the West Covina branch it is horrible but Im gonna go and leave a one star review on every branch I can find

Surely wanted to believe all this Main Street banking and caring stuff but unfortunately they want all business, regardless of depth, to be handled over the phone with a call center. Not much in the way of relationship building. I was trying to reduce my dependence on big corporate banks like Wells Fargo just to find out that NFCU is just as bad. Was seeking a mortgage, a line of credit, a business account and more...back to the big boys I go :(

A woman who work there helped me in Spanish, the environment is friendly and calm, I recommend this credit Union
