My little guy (4.5yo), just finished 1/2 day sports camp over Spring Break. After a somewhat unsuccessful soccer season in the fall through our local rec center, and other attempts to expose him to sports, he just hasnt really had an interest. He was very reluctant Monday morning to attend camp, but I encouraged him to just have fun and try. After the first day, I asked what his favorite thing was and he replied, ALL OF IT! This has been the same feedback everyday. The coaches have definitely made the experience fun. We are very happy that our son has had such a positive attitude and hope he will be willing to try other more organized sports going forward. We will be back for summer sessions.Also worth mentioning, I was happy to see that there was a good mix of boys and girls at the camp.

To be clear, my feelings about the camp have not changed HOWEVER they do work to find solid solutions for situations where it is obvious that their protocols are not followed. the protocols are sound and would have prevented this entire situation.-previous review-mixed sports camp is dodgeball camp.I have asked A LOT of questions over the last few hours since my kids came home in tears. apparently left with an inexperienced coach the kids had divided into big kids vs small kids and then the larger/older kids proceeded to pick on little kids and then when the littles react they and their parents are given report by the coach.after three days of dodgeball and calls to the main office and the regional office it has been affirmed that the mixed sport camp we signed our children up for is almost exclusively a dodgeball camp. I was told the kids usually like dodgeball so thats what we playthats a lot of money for a program that we only utilized for 3 days and then had to pull our kids from unless we wanted them to continue to be dodgeball fodder.

I worked this week for the first time for NAoA, and it was a blast. Everything ran smoothly and everyone from parents and kids to staff members and bosses were so supportive and understanding. I really enjoyed working this week even though I was a bit nervous everyone let me know that I was doing great and had nothing to be nervous about :))

NAofA is an amazing place to work for. Ive had nothing but great experiences with everyone I work with. Aaron is absolutely amazing when it comes to providing positive feedback as well as understanding where Im coming from when I have any concerns. Taylor is amazing as well when it comes to providing whats needed or if I have any problems with anything, she has been such a big help. This is the first time with a company that Ive worked for that I feel comfortable with and felt heard and understood. I cant wait to keep growing with the company and seeing what more we can achieve with the time that comes!

As I coach for the National Academy of Athletics I love my job. I’ve been coaching for the company for almost two years it’s very rewarding and if you love sports and helping kids be great and successful in learning new things at any level of the sport this is the job for you. I love coaching and teaching the kid’s different skills and educational things that have to do with certain sports. I love every part of working for this company and haven’t left any camps without a smile on my face.

My son recently started working with NA of A. He’s enjoying his job as a coach & having fun connecting with kids thru sports. Working for NA of A, gives young adults who played sports growing up an opportunity to give back to their community & continue to be involved in sports . The sports programs offered are a lot of fun for kids & even provided in the schools . It’s great to see a youth sports program being easily accessible to so many kids !!

This organization is fantastic! The National Academy of Athletics teaches its campers to be their best self. Their caring and well-trained staff are wonderful in teaching skills and in developing a love of the game, no matter what level the player is at. My son is on his second year of doing camps with national athletics! First off, the coaches are AMAZING! He hardly can sleep on camp nights because he is so excited to go the next day! It’s a perfect mix of education on a sport and FUN! He loves doing the longer days one although he is young he finds it that much fun to stay the full day! He loves showing me his new skills he learned and telling me about all the friends he makes ! HIGHLY recommend! Memories for a lifetime he gains at every camp!

We LOVE the National Academy of Athletics! We started using the programs with my first child, and last week my third child completed his first program (soccer!) He came home each day energized, happy and excited to return the next day. Next week we are registered for football (child #2)! We regularly use NAA programs not only during summer, but also during long weekends, and holiday workshops as well. 5 stars for sure!

The National Academy of Athletics is a world class organization that understands the rules, techniques, skills and spirit of team sports. I got to participate in a basketball camp that they organized. It profoundly helped me improve my skills and gave me the confidence to excel to my best ability. I met Aaron in 2013 at an event for Recreation Professionals. When I heard him speak at the event I was struck by his enthusiasm and genuine passion for his vocation. I immediately knew I wanted to collaborate with him.I shared with Aaron the needs of our city’s teens and we created the ideal program that was incorporated into a teen summer camp. His high-caliber staff did an awesome job motivating the teens to learn and play a variety of sports as well as teaching them character-building skills.If you have an opportunity to collaborate and/or enroll youth into any of his programs I highly recommend that you do. You will find Aaron to be an inspirational leader, who has developed high-quality programs that have a meaningful impact on youth.

My son went to the Air Attack Flag Football camp and absolutely loved it! The coach was inclusive, knowledgeable and fun! My son came home every day telling me about the new football drills and skills he learned. A very worthwhile camp and love that he was active every day. Will be signing up for more camps this summer!!

This was my 7 year old sons first time in a camp by National Academy of Athletics and his first flag football experience. He greatly enjoyed the camp and he said the counselor was great. We will definitely attend another camp put on by this group again. Thank you!

NAA ran the PTA P.E. Program at my kids school. NAA was well organized, provided great instruction, was a lot of fun and was designed for all grade levels. The students really loved the instructors and looked forward to their P.E. class. Lets continue to keep kids active in schools. I highly recommend as a parent and former PTA president.

Excellent sports programs for kids! We have recently done two flag football programs with NAOA and have been so pleased with the professionalism and organization of it all. The coach Al is so good with the kids by teaching them skills, team building and also fun! We have been so happy with the program and looking forward to signing my 9-year old up again for Flag Football in the next session.

With all of our youth sports on hold, this is a wonderful option. As a child who typically hangs back with new experiences, Coach Ben was able to get my son participating and excited about the game right from the start. 2021 was our first Summer w/NAA and my 6yr old son had a great time. I think a meeting with the instructors on the first day would be a good idea; so we know who our children are with and have a bit of a connection w/this National organization. And perhaps a last day meet up, maybe a summary of what the kids did/learned/experienced etc. So good, simple program but more connection would be an improvement.

The feeling just came upon me all of sudden which doesnt happen very often.My favorite so far is Surviving hard times is more about your thoughts than your circumstances. Took me a week to get out of it, but I did....perhaps it was partly due to this book :)

CEO and Founder Aaron Locks is an amazing instructor for basketball officiating. He brought an incredible amount of enthusiasm to camp that was infectious, and his teaching method was engaging. In his two classes with the NAA (through my town’s park and rec department), my 5 year old TK student had a lot of fun playing and learning some good sports skills — and he got more experience listening to directions, taking turns, and making friends, which is all great prep for kindergarten.
