Ive brought three of our Mac;s to these guys over the past six months with stellar, fast results and brought both my daughters computers to them for fixes just in he past three weeks. Over the past 5 years, Ive also made a few other visits for phone and computer issues with the same great results.Cant say enough good things about these as they are straight shooters, reasonably priced, highly competent and super fast. Theyre exactly what you need when a technology problem paralyzes your work or school demands.

I ended up paying over $200 for a part that costs $100. I dont have a lot of extra money to throw around so using this business was a costly and frustrating mistake.I was told the $75 deposit would go towards part and labor but that wasnt true. I was told (after it was too late) that the deposit converts to an estimate fee if you dont let them install the part. Im not an expert but this seems like an illegal business practice.I was about to order the part myself but I thought to myself what if its not the power supply but the motherboard or malware, I should get it properly diagnosed first. They did not do any diagnosis, just ordered me a part that costs $100 and charged me $202.81.When I told them I would like to install the part myself they should have let me know that I would have to pay them $75 to do so.

10/19/23 I’ve waited a while to do this review because I wanted to see how good their work would be. I had my iPhone 11 battery replaced here. The guy that replaced it did a good job on the battery. The only problem with it is when I go to pick up my phone the Face ID and the volume buttons do not work. I asked the worker does this usually happen when replacing a battery he says “no”, walks away and starts working on something else. I say they were working before I dropped my phone off, he says to me “I wouldn’t know because your phone was dead when you dropped it off”. Which I understand. But my iphone has never been opened the battery he replaced was the original battery. My phone always had a case on it. I can assure you my volume button and Face ID were working. If they weren’t working I would have asked you to fix those to while you were replacing the battery. I messaged them on google and talked to a lady I told her what was going on and she told me I can bring it back in and they would go over there work. It’s been awhile I haven’t been back I’ve just been using the volume settings where you slide the screen down from the top, and typing my password in to unlock it. I give this place 2 stars because the battery he replaced is very good. The customer service needs some work if I tell you my phone wasn’t like this before I dropped it off you should’ve immediately looked over your work. Not just brush me off as if I’m lying. How can I prove to you that my volume buttons and Face ID are working before you touch my phone if I’m having a battery replacement and the phone won’t come on. The lady I talked to the next day did try to make it right and that what counts. As of today my volume button and Face ID are still not working. I know it’s hectic trying to get into apple to get things fixed but that is your best bet if you want something done right.

They are very helpful, informative and have a good communication throughout the repairing process. They give a fair price and talk about all the possibilities for the process.They are also very understanding regarding my decision for my laptop.Overall, a good experience!

Went to Best Buy in Oakland to get my HP screen replaced…they quoted me $400 and 3-6 weeks.Made the drive out to Rockridge for this place; they had my screen replaced within an hour for $200. My friend is currently getting his iPhone screen and battery replaced there which will take under an hour.These folks are super professional and reasonably priced! Worth the drive. Don’t go to Best Buy, go here!

Love this place so much. My entire iPhone Xs screen was hanging onto my phone body with 2 rubber bands after cracking the screen, then dropping it again, etc. Walked in on Saturday at 11am, right when they opened, chose the $99 replacement option, & had I wanted, it would have been ready in 30-40min. However I was running errands all day so told them no rush…it was still done by 12:14pm. I showed up at 3:15pm, got the phone, it looks and works great…another happy experience at My Emergency Guy!

This place is super helpful and reasonable in terms of 2nd hand pricing. Very knowledge as well in iPhone repairs! Highly recommend.

Honest, professional, and knowledgeable. Fixing my laptop wasnt super easy or quick, but I felt throughout that all the right steps were being taken. Good communication as well, and the cost ended up being pretty reasonable.

Went to get my phone screen repaired, once repaired my battery stopped charging and completely turned off. Once I was able to get my phone on for a few minutes, my alerts told me a faulty battery was installed.Update: After contacting me back, they invited back to the store to resolve the issue, the phone I had repaired originally wasn’t working properly, so they even let me try other old iPhones I had to see which one worked for me. Didn’t charge extra for checking them out and we were able to find a good phone of mines to repair successfully. Thank you for contacting me back and having good customer service.

I replaced my phone battery here and sorely regret it. I have an old iPhone XS that I think is 4.5 years old so the battery is run down and I brought it here. The new battery ending up lasting just as long as the old one. There was no noticeable improvement in battery life! And then I dropped the phone in its case after replacing the battery which caused the front screen became loose and open. I could see the electronics inside of my phone! I have had this phone for years and dropped it so many times before so this was shocking. I took it back to my emergency guy since I was in a bind and had to pay to replace the screen. The second guy seemed much more knowledgeable and competent than the first and he took some money off which i appreciate as a gesture though in the end I still got screwed by trying to replace my battery. The new screen in the end has a different sensitivity than the Apple Original and I am CONSTANTLY MISTYPING so I am always wasting time correcting or just sending illegible texts and emails and losing my mind. The phone is worse than it was before I brought it here! It’s so bad that despite the $200+ I spent I am giving up and buying a new phone at Verizon this week about one month after trying to simply replace the battery. I have to say don’t waste your time and money and just get a new phone.
