There are endlessly positive things to say about DJ Alex & My DJs. They were our first vendor we booked after we got our wedding venue as we met DJ Alex at a friends wedding and knew we had to book him! He is an incredible, talented, friendly, and professional partner who truly made our wedding the best day of our lives.He choreographed & orchestrated the entire wedding day by being an amazing MC and DJ. He expertly guided us throughout all of our wedding activities (ceremony, first dance, in between moments, etc.). He even went out of his way to make us a custom mix for my bridal walk down the aisle & gave words of encouragement to the wedding party & guests that truly made everything so genuine & special. All of our guests said we had the best DJ / ceremony/ dance floor -- all around music / vibe!We wholeheartedly recommend DJ Alex & My DJs. Don’t wait, book them - its the best decision! We cant wait to have another event just so we can have DJ Alex there.

Truly cannot say enough good things about Alex with My DJs!! We were recommended My DJs from a friend and honestly didnt know how lucky we were to have such an incredible rec. Alex was so friendly, easy to talk to and connect with, always with a smile on his face. We ended up having him DJ our wedding and he exceeded every single expectation we could have even had in our minds!!!We received sooo many compliments (probably more than anything else from our wedding) about the fun energy, vibe, dance floor, and how great of a DJ Alex was. We had an incredible time at our own wedding and also attribute it to him knowing how to navigate the mood throughout the night and get the party started when the time was right. He really listened to us and understood us as we went through our event planning details and was an incredible help to us. He even helped to coordinate a grand exit when we didnt plan for one!! We couldnt recommend My DJs (and especially Alex)!

We are so happy to have DJ Alex as our wedding DJ! He made such a difference in how the whole day went smoothly and kept the party alive. We had so many friends asking us how we found our DJ and telling us they asked for his business card because of how much fun we all had. We found him at the first wedding we attended together and knew we wanted him to DJ when we had our wedding! We are confident we will see him again in the future at more friends weddings and cant wait :-) The songs he mixes and easiness of choosing your song library couldnt be better. We hired MY DJs San Diego for a Corporate Event earlier this month and everything went off without a hitch. We hired DJ Alex and he was so professional and helpful. I truly enjoyed working with him. He got our vibe and although I only asked to play a handful of songs they all made the cut. He did phenomenally and I highly recommend him. We also were lucky enough to have Jasmine as our photobooth attendant and she was warm, and fun and got many of our associates to take photos and really let loose. I definitely would hire MY DJs San Diego again in the future and hope to work with DJ Alex and Ms. Jasmine again soon!

Alex was the DJ for my wedding and he was AMAZING! I met him at the San Diegos bridal bazaar and I am so happy that he was able to be at our wedding. We also hired Jewel for the photo booth and both were very helpful and clarified all questions we had along the way. They made our wedding planning so much easier. Alex also made sure to meet each groomsmen and bridesmaid to make sure he had the correct names and pronunciation (his attention to all those little details were very thoughtful). Alex were also able to accommodate some last minute request. During our big day, Alex and Jewel was very professional, helpful, flexible, and fun to work with. Everyone loved the music he played! DJ Alex went well beyond what I ever hoped for a wedding DJ to do. Sure, as a DJ he understood and worked with the songs and vibe we wanted and balanced that with keeping the dance floor loaded and keeping our guests partying. Above that, he was amazing as a master of ceremonies who had just the right words and theatrics to do justice to the magic of the occasion. Lastly, he was extremely friendly and interactive with guests, keeping them engaged and making the reception even more fun and special. If anyone ever asks me who they should hire as a wedding DJ Ill tell them theres only one guy for the job.

I have hired MY DJs SD 4 times now and I cannot rave enough about the quality of the service they provide. I have ordered the photo booth multiple times and the staff is friendly, timely, accommodating, and helpful. One staff member saw me hustling to get the house ready for the party and offered to help me move furniture and his comment was We aim to please. Top-notch service and great people to work with. I will only use MY DJs for my party needs. Great company! Cool People!

It can’t be easy showing up to a party where you don’t know anyone, but she managed to shine. The pictures turned out great. The props and back drop were perfect. We got married in August 2023 and booked with MyDjs back in 2022. We specifically picked DJ Alex because we liked his profile, and he certainly did not disappoint! He was very helpful during the planning process, helped us incorporate our personal ideas into our wedding timeline, and took all of our music preferences and turned them into magic. He helped ensure our guests picked up our audiobook phone and left a message, kept us moving smoothly through the night, kept our dance floor busy, and was overall a great emcee and so much fun on the mic. They also let us customize a very cool monogram display for our evening. Overall, we are so happy with our service and would recommend them to any future wedding couples!

Such a fun guy, life of the party, great personality, and we could tell he really loves what he does. From the start he was super easy to work with and definitely knew what he was doing. We had a unique wedding where we asked him if he would wear a Sunflower, Play EDM Music, MC our Wedding Fight instead of a wedding dance. The MC skillz exceeded expectations and really made a difference of our guests feeling included about what was going on through the night.He Knocked it out of the Park! My DJs of San Diego was literally one of the BEST DJs I have ever worked with...and Ive photographed HUNDREDS of weddings! At one point I was SHOCKED at how he got all of the guests, bride, groom, and bridal party engaged on the dance floor dancing and singing together. It was a sight to behold. I cried during the sweet songs, I laughed at his jokes, I was very, very impressed. The cheers he got from the guests was outstanding and well deserved. We could not be more happy or impressed with the service we received through My DJs! The company has been amazing to work with, from the interview process all the way until our wedding day. We knew as soon as we had our interview with DJ Zuni (Aaron Zuniga) that he HAD to be our DJ! We wanted a very specific vibe for our wedding music, and he really understood us and our vision. He is a phenomenal listener and communicator and made every step of this process so easy, always answering any questions over email when needed. And the My DJs platform is really easy to work with, it is very organized and lets you get really specific with planning all of your special songs and must-play songs! I was so nervous leading up to our wedding day but we had a call with Aaron earlier in the week and he really helped settle my nerves and answered all of our questions as we reviewed the wedding schedule. On the day of the wedding, he helped our day go so smoothly and he never missed a beat in terms of announcements, transitions, or special songs. The music was absolutely PERFECT!!! He executed our vision flawlessly, along with reading the room and playing songs to keep the guests engaged and dancing. DJ Earl was absolutely the best DJ/MC we could have ever asked to have at our wedding. Aside from his skills on the turn tables and outgoing personality, he really helped with the planning of the timeline and we benefited greatly from his many years of experience. The use of the MyDjs website and the video conferences and meetings prior to the wedding really helped give us and idea of what kind of services and quality we’d be receiving. My wife and I had a customized first dance song which DJ Earl mixed prior to our wedding that allowed us to practice to the actual song so it turned out perfect. Many of our wedding guests complimented our choice of DJ and said they were impressed by the quality of music and DJ Earl getting out on the dance floor to get people dancing or leading the line dancing. We recommend DJ Earl and MyDjs to anyone looking to have the best in the business at their next event—we will definitely be using them again.

To say DJ Alex was amazing would be an understatement! HE WAS THE BEST DJ I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Literally every guest was commenting and amazed at how awesome he was! He got the ENTIRE crowd up and dancing, he even showed moves when people didnt know how! He made sure I (bride) ate my dinner, had snacks, and everything needed. Alex even went around and made sure all the guests signed my guest books and took photos of them with our guest camera. Multiple guests if he choreographed with the speeches because he had such awesome music in the background. We used MYDJs for our wedding and all the staff, in particular DJ Alex, were incredible to work with. The booking process and live mixing demonstration was awesome, and their planning form on their website really helped us as detail-oriented people to make sure that us and DJ Alex were on the same page.When it came to the actual wedding day, DJ Alex was the MVP of the whole night. His music selection was on point, his energy was incredible, and his emcee skills were perfect. He, in conjunction with our coordinator, kept everyone on time and on-point. They have a really cool client portal that helps you organize the music you want played at different parts of the ceremony and reception. It even allows you to connect your Spotify account so the DJ knows exactly what song you want. DJ Alex even found a very obscure song on the spot that my mom requested during the reception, which she greatly appreciated. I wouldnt have changed a single thing about hiring this company and was beyond thrilled with what DJ Alex brought to our wedding. 100% Recommend and would hire again in a heartbeat!

I cant say enough how grateful we are to have had DJ Alex at our wedding. He did much more than just cue up awesome tunes (which he definitely did that too). He went out of his way to make custom mixes for our first dance, father/daughter, and mother/son dances. He pivoted to a rain plan 48 hours before the wedding. He was so enthusiastic and excited and added so much vibrancy to the evening. He was an Emcee, vibe-setter and guided the energy of the evening flawlessly. Our guests also adored him and many asked Where did you find your DJ???. Yes, hes that good. We also utilized their photobooth services, and it really elevated the party so much. We booked our DJ and Photobooth through MyDJs and were so pleased with their services! Music was huge for us, and our dance floor stayed lively with DJ Leon. He was the perfect MC, and did such a great job that my friends from Miami want to book him! We also loved our Photobooth attendant. She kept the energy up at the booth and helped guests think of poses. The only little con I had were the frame choices for the Photobooth. They were cute, but we prefer minimalist designs, which there weren’t too many options for. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend their services and would book them again in a heartbeat!

We are absolutely thrilled we requested to work with My DJs San Diego, but more specifically due to our fabulous and amazing DJ, Alex. I originally spoke to Alex by myself and going through the DJs list and listening to the introduction for each DJ, my fiancé (at the time) and I both agreed we had to have Alex as our DJ.Alex was not only professional, eager, and a great listener, he shared feedback, ideas, and offered to go above what we would expect an MC/DJ to do. He was thorough and did a great job following up with us.The day of the wedding, he so incredibly enthusiastic and on top of EVERYTHING and was always 10 steps ahead. My husband and I originally hired a live musician to do the ceremony and cocktail hour; however, the musician was stuck in traffic and wasnt going to make the ceremony. He was quick on his feet and prepared everything for our ceremony and did it perfectly! He would check in with us often and was responsive to our guest. On top of last minute ceremony fiasco, we scratched out the original chosen host of the the shoe game and asked him to run it and he did it perfectly. From before the wedding, to the end of the wedding, DJ Alex went above and beyond our expectations!I cannot express anymore in my own words how fabulous DJ Alex was- so I guess this might help. I had more than a handful of friends/family approach me at our wedding to share high compliments about Alex.In addition, My DJs offered EVERYTHING we needed! My wife and I had the pleasure of working with MYDJs for our wedding in San Marcos, CA in April 2023 at Green Gables Wedding Estate. We worked with DJ Leon for our wedding.With the blending of Black and Puerto Rican families from the west and east coasts, we wanted a DJ who was capable of keeping everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. DJ Leon was able to do just that! Our reception was a real party. DJ Leon played classics from both coasts and blended hip hop, R&B, old school/new school, reggaeton, bachata, merengue, etc. so masterfully. The sound for the ceremony was also great. We had some issues with one of the lavalier mics but we were able to work around the issue with ease. DJ Leon actually recommended we don’t use the lavalier mic so follow his advice!Working with DJ Leon was easy. We had one interview with him where he gave us a preview of his DJ style and another pre-wedding meeting where we walk through the DJ portal for all of our wedding songs (processional, recessional, reception intros, first dance, etc.) a week before the wedding. In the DJ portal, you can input specific songs you would like to hear and songs you DO NOT want to hear at the wedding. DJ Leon was very responsive to emails between both meetings. We hired MY DJs in 2020, two years in advance of our wedding. Much change happened during the time of hiring and our event, however, MYDJs was very accommodating throughout. After DJ Earls passing, we were assigned a DJ which after meeting with him and some subsequent conversations, we did not think the new DJ was a good fit for us. But they just calmly picked it up and proceeded. Even more impressive, as the bride and groom, my wife and I did not have time to enjoy the photobooth. I dont know if I got the worst DJ or what but DJ Grimm did not perform like his counterparts. I would recommend avoiding this DJ at all costs. He wasnt personable and did very little to engage with guests.1) DJ Grimm did not MC at ALL, thats one of the main reasons I went with My Djs2) DJ Grimm brought his wife to my event. If he would have communicated with me and let me know he wanted to bring her this review would have been different. I find it very disrespectful that he brought an uninvited guest to my party without my permission.Overall, I would use their services again but I am definitely requesting a different DJ. MY DJs was a wonderful match for our wedding. We really appreciated how specific questions were asked before the wedding to make sure the night went the way we wanted it to. At the reception, both families were having a great time on the dance floor, despite some of them not being frequent dancers! DJ Israel Florence, aka DJ Hot Chocolate, was OUTSTANDING. He kept our party going, and chose all of the appropriate music for our very diverse crowd. My DJ experience was probably anything but normal. I booked My DJs back in 2019, prior to the pandemic. Like many weddings, mine was pushed a year. The DJ I had selected changed careers in COVID, and the team allowed me to book another DJ, which I did. Unfortunately, he fell very ill about a month before the wedding, so they set me up with another one of their DJs. He was fantastic, but contracted COVID days before my wedding. Ops manager Alex stepped in and found me another DJ TWO DAYS before my wedding. This company never once brought me a problem, they brought me solution time and time again after factors totally out of both of our control. Booking a TEAM with multiple talented DJs and an operations manager who can handle situations like this saved me a ton of stress. By the last DJ (DJ Jesse) I was too exhausted to meet with him and talk about the wedding, so he simply followed the notes and songs I asked for previously, and did the most killer job. Was spot on for every special song, and every song on the dance floor was one I wanted to hear. I danced for 3 hours straight, my whole wedding did. Earl was simply the man. He was an incredible MC, DJ, and made the party so incredible. He showed up, had everything ready to go in minutes and put up with our crazy group. We had 15 musical performances/ acts during our show he navigated the transitioned flawlessly.I can’t recommend earl enough if you are looking for a great dj for your next party. 👍👍

I’ve received so many requests from wedding guests asking if they could please get the playlist from the wedding. Everyone had such a blast and DJ Earl was amazing throughout the event. Hired MY DJs for a company corporate holiday party and oh my goodness! This DJ had the dance floor packed from start to end! Coworkers still talk about how fun that party was to this day! Definitely the best of San Diego DJs! Next celebration we are going straight to MY DJs!

As we walked around our wedding reception other than the normal words of congratulations the most common comment we got was, Where did you find this DJ? Hes amazing!.Dealing with Israel prior to the event was a pleasure, even when we werent always timely on getting him the information he needed. He ran the ceremony flawlessly, and seamlessly handled a difficult split between the ceremony and reception sites on a tight timeline. During the reception Israel managed the ebbs and flows of the various parts perfectly and made the garter and bouquet tosses a true highlight of the event. Once it was open dance time Israel kept the crowd engaged and dancing, often by jumping out on the floor himself.In short, if youre looking for a DJ that can handle a quaint garden wedding, but will have grandma bumping it down the soul train row at the reception, you cant do better than Israel DJ Hot Chocolate Florence!
