I’ve had an excellent experience working with Music Box Attic. I had a special project for my wedding anniversary and I wanted a custom box that played a specific melody. No vendors seemed to have the tune I was looking for, and those who said they could make a movement that did either charged an amount far beyond my means, or seemed too low to be true.The staff at Music Box Attic were able to make this custom movement and did so staying in my budget without compromising on quality. Their wide selection of boxes allowed for a delightful pairing of it to the movement and the engraving added the perfect touch as an anniversary gift.Finally, as I’d said previously, the staff were wonderful. Polite, responsive, and realistic - they never over-promised or used any tricks for my business. These people are true professionals, folks. If you’re looking for a unique music box that is heirloom quality, these are the people you see.

I purchased the “4 x 6 White Lacquer Photo Frame Music Box with New Pop-Out lens System” back in 2018 as a wedding gift for my wife. After a while, the music stopped. I just reached out to Music Box attic via chat on their website and the person was able to help me get the music going again. It’s 11 PM as well. Amazing service and amazing product! Beautiful box, even better customer service. I bought a box with Elton Johns Your Song as a wedding gift for my soon-to-be wife, I think shes gonna love it. What I appreciate even more is how helpful Music Box Attic staff were. USPS said the box was delivered on Saturday, but it wasnt in my mailbox. On Monday I reached out and expressed I was on a time crunch ahead of the wedding, and they immediately sent a new box with expedited shipping. We had correspondence via email and phone, and they were very reachable both ways. Top notch customer service, thank you to Boris and the team!

Just wanted to tell Boris thank you for sending the replacement music box for the music box on the left in the picture. The original one only played random notes. I have found someone who loves it, they were happy to get it. It was shipped quickly and arrived before Christmas.Both of our music boxes are so unique. We never see anything like here on the east coast. They are beautiful. We have ordered before, and will keep an eye out for that unique gift.

Shipping was late and I paid for priority, in top of that this was a gift and when it was opened at the dinner party it was broken the globe part rolled out unattached. First and last time ordering and then to further top it off customer service was ridiculous.The owner has replied and apologies are so easy to gie, you may not have control of shipping but my product being DAMAGED, that was careless and unthoughtful of us consumers. Not everyone celebrates holidays and this gift was NOT part of the holidays and needed to be perfect and it wasnt. It was BROKE please make sure that you address all concerns not just the ones you can pawn off on shipping. Lastly, a review is just that, a review of how my service went and thats what people want to know.

It exceeded my expectations & I’m particular! Funny/ not funny—I gave them the wrong BIRTH YEAR for the plaque they glued on the bottom. Bad Godmother! I panicked, emailed them and THEY WERE SO KIND! Received my truly beautiful Music Box. It was gorgeous! I was so excited as it was delivered within days of my purchase. Unfortunately there was a very small issue with it. In my opinion this is the place to go to for a music box. Not only is the box beautiful, it came promptly and well packed, but the customer service is truly amazing. When the box arrived and I tested it, the music was not the song I ordered. I called customer service ( Boris M) and he could not have been nicer. It turned out I had ordered the wrong song, one with a similar name. I was told I could send it back and they would replace the mechanism and return it to me or, they would send a new mechanism for me to replace myself (and return the original). All of this would be done at no cost to me even though I was the one who ordered the wrong song. Boris M. was simply terrific and responded very quickly by email if there were any questions. I recommend this store unreservedly and wish them well.

I purchased a music box as a Christmas present for my daughter. It arrived promptly, and packaged very securely. The box itself is stunning; very sturdily made, with a beautiful finish. The sound quality is amazingly clear. But what I am most impressed is the fantastic customer service! Im very technologically challenged as my kids say, and I needed some help after downloading the song. I posted a question on Amazon, and within a couple of hours, I was contacted by the owner of the company, who offered his help. I purchased a music box in Germany while we were on vacation there for a birthday present for my mother who had visited us in Germany while we were there on a military assignment. We thought the connection with the past was a perfect gift, unfortunantly when we got home the music did not work on the movement. As an inexperienced novice looking to buy a music box for my friend, I ended up visiting the location not even having a solidified design or song in mind. The box is beautiful and the people are wonderful to work with. I sent the box back once because the music seemed too loud. I would recommend getting the volume controls or do as I did and cover the speaker with something such as an engraved plate. The next time I sent it back because the music did not start consistently. The explanation was that the sensor in my box is extremely sensitive to light. Although the room has a lot of windows the spot that I had it in must still not get enough. All postage was covered by music box attic at no expense to me.

I purchased a Cello music box for my daughters birthday. I was very impressed with the detailed quality of the cello. Its very real looking down to the smallest detail. The customer support rep that helped me during a chat was very helpful. It came in a pretty presentation/storage box with a nice note feom me to my daughter too. Very cool.When ordering, I asked that it arrive on a certain date and it actually come on the date I specified. Ive never had a company do that before. My only disappointment was the base. Its pretty but not as pretty as some on the other cellos. And the sale price was very affordable. I would highly recommend The Music Box Attic to anyone looking for such a special gift. This review is really 5 stars for the product, but no stars for postage cost. Music Box Attic wanted US$50 to post a tiny 18 note mechanism to Australia, thats more than twice the cost of the mechanism. Luckily I have a friend in US and she posted it on to me for US$14 (using original packaging), so ultimately Music Box Attic lost out because they had to pay postage to her (free in the US). Really suggest a review your postage charges because I would definitely buy more if the postage were more reasonable. Edit after response from owner - I just point out that I added a photo showing the postage cost was indeed $14 (not $50), it was posted snail mail and I received it in under a week (not months) and if the postage cost is not up to you then who is it up to that you were gouging $36 on postage? Finally, I reiterate - it is not a negative review of the product, just the price gouging on postage.....so you did do something wrong as well as something right.....

After calling and having them try to trouble shoot it, they told me they were surprised it didnt work based on their QA process. This place is a little tricky to find exact location. There is no banner or sign for the store name but I assure you Google maps takes you to the right place. Its a small, nice and great customer service place walked in and before I knocked the guy walked out and greeted me took me in told me to have a seat shower me some music boxes I had already looked online for and added the aloha oe Swiss tune in it.
