Place is absolutely amazing. Called in at 8am Saturday trying to get a tire patched, no appointment, the dude said roll on in, came in, got the unfortunate news thats my tire was not in good enough shape to patch.I was dreading the upsell, he found me a used tire, told me it would be a whopping 40 bucks.Amazing. Quick service(maybe 20 minutes in and out) best price in town and happy folks around, will definitely be back.

Such a great experience here! Very easy and fast to set up an appointment for a diagnostic for my truck, freaking out because it was wobbling! Was educated on the issue, discussed a few options and financial part. Everything was a seamless process and experience! Rocky and his entire staff were very helpful and got us back on the road! Needed to replace my TPMS sensors on my 2007 Toyota. Called a few chain tire shops and Murrieta tire and auto for quotes. I was hoping that they would be somewhat competitive with their quote, as I wanted to support a local business if I could afford to. They were actually the lowest quote!They were friendly, professional, efficient and I felt like a valued costumer. Great to still have a repair shop like this around.

Rocky and his crew were incredible. Im the guy whos always been nervous taking his car in because im afraid of getting ripped off. Not the case here. They did a great inspection and gave a proposal with pictures of everthing. It was incredibly detailed. But even better is he did not try to sell me on everything. I highly recommend MTA! I recently moved to the area and needed an oil change and regular service. I googled places close to me and this place was the closest and had the best reviews in the area. When I called to schedule an appointment, they were so nice to me and I instantly knew I made the right decision! I dropped my car off the next morning, and once again, they were soooo friendly. They texted me updates throughout the day and sent me a link to the report on the inspection of the car (including pictures). I thought that was a great feature. I ended up needing new tires as well (after seeing the pictures of them, I’m shocked I didn’t realize sooner that they needed to be replaced). The tires came in later that day and I was able to pick the car up the next morning. While I spent quite a bit more money than I originally planned (oil change vs. oil change and new tires), I never felt like I was being forced into anything or upsold at all. And they were so easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! I’m so happy I found my permanent car place! Thank you MTA!!

Very personable staff. Took their time talking to me on the phone about what I might try at home to get my car running and potentially avoid needing to bring the car in. Ended up coming in for a new battery. Then I asked for additional work for a separate maintenance issue because of a sound the car was making. They didnt try to upsell or add on additional maintenance. The car now runs perfectly and doesnt make the sound anymore. Great service and they followed up via text to ask if everything was ok with the car. I am happy to give them a positive review and I will be a repeat customer next time I need maintenance or repairs.

Hands down to this Auto Shop, Rocky & Robert are trustworthy people you can trust with your car. As a woman I have always been nervous to take my car to a mechanic because they always want to charge you an arm/leg and replace things you don’t need just to take your money, this auto shop is very professional, and they know what there doing. They even let me borrow a car while my car was in the shop. Plus they gave me my car looking very clean. I’m definitely coming back here when my car needs repairs. I’m a happy lady !!! 7/5/23 brought my car back in just to make sure it was safe to drive my car up north and they checked my car, added fluids, checked my tires and they didnt charge me anything. Robert and Rocky are good dudes. After moving to the area in 2017 I was trying to find a good shop and came here because of all the five star reviews. Now five years later, they’ve done quite a bit of work for me and our 4 vehicles. I always trust them to do it right and not do unnecessary things. Went in for diagnostic because my Camry Hybrid runs rough. Quoted me $130. They found nothing wrong with the car. Went in to pick up the car and they waived the fee. Great business! Great people! I was very happy with my whole experience at Murrieta Tire and Auto Repair. The prices they quoted were reasonable, they completed the work quicker than I expected, and were warm and friendly people. Robert was amazing with updating me about my car. The unfortunate break down on I-15 N left me stranded and needed a trusted auto shop in Murrieta; I live in Rancho Cucamonga, so Im unfamiliar with the local shops. Fortunately, this establishment already had high remarks, so I had my car towed here. It was by far the best choice! They were prompt, easy to talk to, and straight forward. Additionally, they allowed me to hold my car there, without extra charges, until I was able to come down to pick up. Great customer service, affordable prices, and excellent work. I am so thankful that the only local I knew when I moved to the area recommended this shop to me. Last year my car that is getting older had an issue where it was intermittently losing power while driving. I would accelerate and the car would jerk back unpredictably which was understandably scary. I was told by the shop closest to my home to take it to the dealership because the error was so specific to my vehicle. That was the worst thing I could do. Not only did the dealership not determine the true cause of the issue, but they pressured me into making a decision within 20 minutes about whether I would get the repair done there because they were closing for the day. Luckily I did not succumb to their hard sell and took it to MTA instead. MTA correctly identified the issue that the dealership did not and even let me borrow a vehicle over Easter weekend while they waited for the part since my car was unsafe to drive. There were no surprises from them during the repair process.I cant thank MTA enough for being an honest and friendly shop. I hate dealing with car issues but they make it as easy as possible. They are extremely communicative, helpful and compassionate. Robert and Rocky will treat you with respect and not like a dollar sign as the dealerships do. They stay busy which is indicative of superior service they provide. I really cant say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend MTA to anyone in the area looking for auto repair or maintenance.

We have used MTA several times before and I always keep forgetting to leave them a review. But after today I feel like they deserve a glowing and absolutely amazing review.I had dropped off my husbands F150 truck to Ford last Thursday for an oil change. The mechanic there told me that he had a coolant leak and several other things that I had told him to contact my husband about. We were headed to go camping on Friday so we were a little concerned. My husband had contacted Rocky and told him that we needed to be seen as soon as possible after we came back so he got us in on Monday morning.All weekend on our camping trip it did not seem like a coolant was leaking at all so when I had brought in the truck to Rocky and explain to him what had happened he told us not to worry and that he will take care of it. After about two hours there he had called my husband back and told him that they did all the tests and there was no leakage of the coolant at all. So I went to pick up the truck, and he did not charge us at all! Ford was going to charge me almost $200 to possibly diagnose if there was a coolant leak!!! We really appreciate everything that MTA has done for us.We are definitely going to only see Rocky from now on. He is definitely an honest business and its not out there just to take our money!

He was very empathetic to my situation. They did absolutely everything he said they would do from what time my car would be looked at to what time it was done. Robert was very helpful. Even though they were booked still took my car in to be diagnosed. Ended up being quite a few things wrong with my Explorer due to the ac compressor malfunctioning causing the belt on my alternator to snap off but, they were able to fix it within a few days. All throughout the process Robert kept me informed either by calling me or texting me. Very happy with my experience at Murrieta & Auto. Definitely recommend taking your vehicle there if you have any problems.

I found Murrieta Tire & Auto on Facebook and came in for an oil change. So glad I did! Easy to get in, quick service and very personable staff. The customer service is fantastic. I had to bring my car in for an alignment issue and had my almost two year old nephew with me. I was really worried at first because I had to stay for the whole hour and didn’t know how the baby would respond to being stuck in the lounge for that long with nothing to do. As soon as I sat down with him they asked what show he would be interested in and turned Mickey Mouse on for my nephew. Called in on a Saturday morning and spoke to the owner Rocky. Explained my situation with my daughters car and situation. Rocky didnt hesitate and told me to bring it in so he could take a look at it and give me an estimate. Within 45 min of dropping it off, I got a very fair estimate and approved them to start the work.2 hours later car was road and brake tested and ready to go. I called Murrieta Tire and Auto after being quoted nearly double for brakes and rotors... on top of that they determined that I didn’t even need the tire alignment that another shop said I needed. They were actually able to squeeze me in last minute on the same day that I got a quote from them. I explained that it was my carpool day and then they offered me their loaner truck, which was very clean and I was able to fit four teenagers in it comfortably. Got my brake pads “fixed” here and air filter “changed” here. Week later my brakes squeal again..I drove carefully too. Also my a/c smelled like rotten eggs. Do yourself a favor and change your own air filter and get it from autozone for 20$. Rotors was the only thing done right. Brake pads were not fixed properly at all. I’m not surprised and I prefer female mechanics from now on..they’re less likely to fool women. Find a local mechanic not a shop.

Took my 09 Forester here when the A/C was having issues and had to get the compressor, expansion valve and condenser replaced, had it back to me the next day. I had my 98 Dodge Durango towed to them on a Thursday and was told they wouldn’t be able to look at it until Friday. Around 4pm the same day Rocky calls me and let’s me know what’s wrong with my truck. I was surprised since they had told me they wouldn’t get to it till the next day. He proceeded to let me know what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it which to me was not over priced at all. . He never once tried to sell me any other parts or repairs and was very honest and upfront. My truck was done Friday before closing and I can say it drives so much better. These guys do amazing work and are very professional and friendly. I would take my truck back again when in need of anymore repairs and I will recommend them highly to friends and family.

Ive never felt relieved after getting my car serviced. Usually you feel gutted, spent, exhausted, and tired over the cost, time waiting, and impending bad news over more than what you came to get fixed. The Murphys usually live in mechanics garages!! If its not one thing its something else. However, when I came here I was immediately welcomed and because of the email/call prior to my arrival they already knew to expect me and what I needed done. I was assured that prior to any work done they would let me know the cost and time it would take. When I was contacted about what was going on with my car I was dreading the damage that was about to happen with my wallet. However, I was quite surprised on the cost because it was super reasonable, for which I thought was going to be pretty expensive. My car was in bad shape. After speaking to them about what needed to be done I was relieved and was happy to have them work on my car. The time it took was also quite fast and not what I expected. I had planned a full day of being without my car and it was quite the opposite. To top it off, the owner even messaged me on their next business day to ask how my car was doing! Wonderful experience! Great service. I would definitely recommend. They saved me a lot of money. I went to Nissan before to get my service engine light checked on. Nissan told me I had something terribly wrong with my engine. I took it in to Murrieta Tire and auto repair a week later and they just told me that the computer in my car needed to be fixed because it was forcing the light to stay on even though my engine was fine. My nephew has highly recommended Murietta Tire and Auto Repair for years - for the maintenance of his 2002 Hyundai Sonata which continues to run like the day it was purchased!I placed a call to them and got an appointment immediately when my 2013 Kia Soul started making an intermittent noise. A few years ago the shop we had come to trust closed down. It took awhile to find a place we really like, and that place is Murrieta Tire and Auto Repair. Being a woman, Im always wary about walking into auto repair shops. Well meaning people can still be condescending, and not-so-well meaning people can rip you off. That has not been the case at MTA. Rocky and his people have been very skillful at diagnosing the problem, and have always been pleasant and fair. We have an older car, and he explains what is wrong, quotes a fair price, and doesnt make me feel bad if I dont repair everything. I sometimes wait in the front area for someone to be free to help, but it has a family feeling to it, so I dont mind. A few months ago, he hosted a car wash for one of the local high schools, so being of service to the community seems to be important to him. That means something to me. Excellent Service!I stumbled upon this auto shop when I was searching for places that would do suspension/alignment work for my vehicle. When I spoke to Rocky over the phone and explained my situation, I was given the option of either buying my own parts or having their shop order it for me. However you wanna do it, he said. I was surprised by that statement as this was the only shop that made me feel that I had the ultimate say on how the work was going to be done. When I took my vehicle in, they did a free assessment on the suspension and inquired about the parts I would need. They were very helpful and I was able to walk out of there hassle-free with the part numbers I needed. I ended up finding parts (camber kits) and saving money as they were inexpensive compared to the prices auto shops were offering. Many other shops were either hesitant or were not accommodating to the idea of customers supplying their own parts--not even if they were new parts. By openly accepting the task of installing the parts I provided, I came to a conclusion that they were competent and confident about being able to do high quality work regardless of the source from which the parts came from. And after coming back to get those camber kits installed, that was just the case. They got me in and out of the shop in a reasonable amount of time and the work they did was very good. This shop is very customer-oriented, competent, and they practice cost-effectiveness on behalf of the customers. My suspected issues with my auto suspension/alignment were the rear upper arms and lower trailing arm bushings affecting the camber and toe. Rocky recommended installing the camber kits first and seeing if they would correct both the camber and toe issues before buying new bushings. This showed me that they sought for the simplest and least expensive solution to fixing my auto issues. As a consumer and client, I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. I actually felt involved and informed about my vehicle. Overall, I highly recommend this shop. Very helpful, honest with their approach, and capable of high quality service. I plan on coming back here to take my car in for other trusthworthy repairs and servicing. Excellent job!

But sadly it is not to be....after doing business there for over a year they decide to not explain what caused the transmission to fail in the one car that has to be the most dependable because of a long commute, two days after they did a simple filter and fluid flush? After the recent rain, I hit a pothole that formed in the road and filled with water. Had some shimmy in my steering so I took my car over here on my dads advice. Rocky confirmed my suspicion that my rim was bent (actually, they all were somewhat from a previous incident involving a metal plate in the road), balanced the tires and rotated them to reduce the shimmy, and found some replacement rims for me in the future that look pretty slick. And they did all of that within about two hours. Reliable shop, friendly staff, would/will suggest to friends.

I take our vehicles to Murrieta Tire and Auto for service. They give honest appraisals of your vehicles needs. I had my truck there yesterday for tires and to check out my brakes. Rocky did a quick appraisal and said I could safely get more miles out of my tires. The brakes did not need new pads, but they found problems with my radiator. Once the work was completed, they followed up with me the next day to ensure that the fix was meeting my needs. i will keep coming back because of their service.Update - My wife visited MTA with our van that had a check engine light and needed an alignment. I called for a quote to fix my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s water pump. I know how to do it myself but I didn’t feel like making a mess or dealing with the hassle. It wasn’t urgent or anything either, so I wasn’t in a rush. The water pump itself is $80 to $100 and I figured for 2-300 dollars I could pay for that. They must think I’m dumb because he told me after services and topping off fluids it would be $600 almost $700 dollars. I even called around and prices were $350-$400. I ended up doing it myself and It took me 3 hours to do myself and I paid less than $150 for the water pump and coolant. These people are just trying to take advantage of your bad situation.
