Our 3+ year old pet rat, Curly was nearing end of life, and I had searched intently for a veterinarian hospital where we could take him. Muller was the only one who offered these services for a reasonable price. The morning I was supposed to bring him in, we were dealing with a death in the family...My dad kindly offered to bring Curly in for euthanasia, as my hands were tied. Dr. Miller adjusted, called to confirm all the details with me, and just went above and beyond. The care, communication, and empathy in this experience make it unforgettable. This is what veterinary practice is all about.

We bring our overly-complicated elderly pets here to see Dr. Iwata and always get thorough and thoughtful help! They’ve also made our new puppy feel safe and happy, so he loves going in for vaccines.Their email system sometimes hiccups, but such is the way of computers, and they’re always great at helping out on the phone if email doesn’t work. It’s a bummer they don’t do more internal medicine (they refer you out for it), but they do have the whole canine rehab center.I saw folks in other reviews saying they’re “expensive,” but their prices are actually lower than several of the big chains.

You refused to help my dying dog, you stole our money, you’re beyond guilty of malpractice. We took our dog in, it was very clear he only had about three days left to live, you prescribe him steroids to get money out of us. We asked you plainly, “should we put him down” and you said “I cannot answer that”. I had to hold my dog in my arms as he died because of you. Do not let these people around your animals, they only care if you have the Walnut Creek wallet to pay for their treatment.

We just went here for the first time and had such a positive experience! We are new Guinea pig owners and Dr Miller and the team were very thorough and patient with all of our concerns which luckily turned out to be nothing. The doctor also told us about other resources for Guinea pigs in the area, that Dr Adams on their team is also very knowledgeable and gave us a care packet about them. I thought the parking lot was a little confusing initially but once inside they have private waiting areas for owners and their pets. A lot of vets were annoyed by Guinea pigs when we called and asked them but these guys were excited about us bringing in our “g pigs.” While I hope our girls don’t need any major care in the future, I feel confident in this veterinarian.Edit: One of our piggies passed unfortunately several months later, and somehow the vet found out through the emergency vet we took her too and they sent us a beautiful and personal card on wildflower paper we could plant in honor of mango and made a donation to veterinary school animal fund in honor of her as well! It was so sweet and means the world to us, I know a lot of piggies are looked at as an inconvenience but Muller really understands how special she was to us.

Got a new puppy 2 months ago and Im considered a worry wart. BUT they have helped me out soooo much. Just had our third visit yesterday and they helped me out understand how shes going to change gradually. Which is obvious but its like going to school. They teach me so much. And they take great care of my puppy. I can just walk in and they recognize us. And instantly I feel safe having my baby in their hands.I Definitely recommend.

The quality of their service depends on the vet you get. It’s been a couple of times where it seems that asking related questions is not welcome or they definitely make you feel stupid for asking. They are clearly bothered if they have to repeat something and just seems to me that they do not enjoy their job at all. Sorry for not being a vet and wanting to know things about my dog’s health… The assigned vets for my dogs are pretty good but whenever you need attention that is not in 3 months from the moment you need it, you get to deal with these grumpy and impolite old ladies. (Maybe they should retire already?)

Ive been to several other vets in the area and Ive always received the best care at Muller. They can be a bit more expensive than other places, but they definitely back it up with the quality and accuracy of their care.

I have been taking my dog to them since the day I got him almost 10 years ago. Over that time I have my dog has been seen 6 - 8 of their vets and they were all great. Knowledgeable, personable, compassionate and very thorough. The Vet Techs are great too. The place is always spic and span clean; even the lobby with all the pet and people traffic! I couldnt be happier with the people, the quality of care, the prices and the convenience. Highest recommendation possible!!!!

Fantastic place to take your pets. I have moved around the Bay Area but will continue to travel 45 minutes just to have my dogs treated here. I have had multiple concerns for my dogs over the past two years, and Muller has been amazing every time. We have seen 4 vets and I loved them all. I personally feed a raw diet to my dogs, and all the vets at Muller are open to it and work with me to make sure its properly balanced. For two back injury incidents, they offered a complete and comprehensive approach to me, including traditional and holistic treatments. Their goal is treat your entire pet, not just the one problem area. I had to visit an emergency vet one time when I couldnt get to Walnut Creek and they were kind enough to email my dogs entire vet record to me to have on hand for the other vet. They always work with me and my high anxiety dog every visit, tailoring the experience to Scarlett and what she can handle that day.Yes they are a little more expensive than other vets in the area, but the level of service and care far outweighs the money. As long as I live in the Bay Area, my animals will go to Muller!

There are no words to express how pleased and Happy I am that my dear four legged family members receive their care from Muller Vet. I have been taking all of them all to Muller, dogs and cats, for at least the last 25 years, when they were first located on Treat Blvd, now located on Main St. Dr. Troy and all the vets there are Wonderful, and my current vet is Dr. Adams, who is extremely thorough, highly educated, listens to you!... and is deeply compassionate. I have no problem with any of the other vets stepping in, as their care, thoughtfulness and thoroughness is the best I have experienced. From basic care, wellness checks etc., to caring for the sick, disabled or elderly...or, when the sad time comes to have to say goodbye, I would not want my loved ones any where else. The staff there also gets FIVE stars! They make you feel welcome and part of the family! Highly recommend!

I had the sad duty to attend to my 92 year old mothers beloved cat after he passed away at 14 years of age. The folks at Muller were amazing. They were knowledgeable, compassionate and just down right nice. What was a sad duty was actually a wonderful experience. If I ever need a Vet, these folks are top of the list. Thank you to the young man and young lady at the front desk, you are doing a great service to the community.

Both my little fur babies/ min pins/ dogs have been seeing Dr. Mona Miller for the last couple years. She is very good at what she does and cares a lot about her patients. I also have had some appointments with Dr. Adams who is also a great doctor. They have saved one of my dogs life by fast recommendation to Sage Campbell then to Redwood City for a MRI on my dog twice. Love this place, well worth your money. Also if you dont have pet insurance please look into it . It has saved us thousands of dollars! Truepanion is the company!

My new puppy had her routine exam and everything went well. They answered all of my questions and created a schedule for her to get the remaining vaccinations. My families older pup goes to Muller as well. I recommend Muller for your fur babies.

Nice facilities, the staff go above and beyond to help. Forgot to refill a prescription for one of my dogs until it was out, called at 4:45 about it and they filled it by 5:15. Dr. Iwata is the main Veterinarian for my dogs and she is excellent both at diagnosing issues and at tailoring treatment plans to make them as effective as possible.

I was billed thousands of dollars by the doctor at this Veterinary Hospital. And I feel like they did EXTREMELY shoddy surgery on my dog. He has never been the same since he had surgery at this hospital. I feel like the doctor over billed me. And performed a bad job on surgery. To bring your dog to this Hospital is the equivalent of bringing your dog to a high kill shelter. It seems risky for your pet. My dog made it out alive, but I feel like he was butchered during surgery! The hospital looks clean and harmless but I feel like they do more bad than good. I also feel like they are like car mechanics that cant be trusted. Be careful and look at every detail of your bill. After paying thousands of dollars, I Feel like I was scammed. Be careful that you arent scammed as well. I would never dream of bringing my dog back to this hospital EVER again. I plan to tell anyone that would listen how horrific this hospital is. Hopefully no one has to suffer the same stress I did.

The Best. Muller vet has extended the life of my golden retriever by years. Their rehab facility is one of a kind. Maggie can now walk on all fours (had terrible hip issues). Worth the wait to get in to see them. Once youre in, you are in for life.

Great place for every option to care for your pet. Chiropractic Care, acupuncture, water therapy. The drs listen to your feelings and concerns, really get to know your pet and then talk with you about the options. Great place for those that LOVE their animals!

The staff care about every single animal that comes through their doors. The only reason I cant give this place 5 stars is because it is a very expensive veterinary hospital.

I brought my dog in for surgery after having a consultation a week before. At the consultation I was given an estimate for around $1950 to 2300. When I came in a week later to drop off my dog the doctor then said that she needed to add more things to my estimate and added a bunch of different things to the new estimate and gave me a new estimate for 2000 to 2700. I shouldnt be surprised but when I came to pick up my dog the bill was $2650 which is on the high end of the new estimate I received on the DAY OF the surgery. My dog is 12 pounds. I never expected the hospital to drive up their billing by padding my bill. At least thats what it felt like. I felt very ripped off and fleeced, it was almost like a shake down. There is no way I could say no because my dog needed the surgery,It was life or death. And we had already waited a week because apparently this doctor only performed surgery on Wednesdays. And to top it all off, after my dog had surgery, he left this hospital with new problems which I believe were errors that happened in the surgery by the doctor. Dont bring your dog here! You will leave feeling scammed. This hospital does not care about your dog, they care about billing you thousands of dollars. And adding hundreds of dollars to your estimate on the DAY OF the surgery when you cant say no. Youve been warned!
