Cute cafe with delicious food, cocktails, and coffee. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We love sitting at the bars because we can alternate between sitting and standing.

This place has a very chilled and modern feel. The coffee is of high standard, balanced and European style servings using organic milk from the serving I had. Everything I tried their menu is beautifully presented, freshly made and nutritious. This would be on the top 5 coffee spots for me in the area. They gave a great selection of french pastries, a small market area selling high quality locally or internationaly sourced produce you might find and expect at a high end supermarket like Jimbos.

I came here for a light lunch and to do some journaling. The sandwich and smoothie I had were both really good. I especially enjoyed the high quality bread they use for their sandwiches, and you can tell the other ingredients correspond in caliber. There is plenty of seating, high speed Wi-Fi, and the ambiance is relaxed but fancy. The staff is friendly and do a great job keeping things tidy. Highly recommended if you are in the area and are looking for a light meal and place to spend a few hours in a comfortable place to watch the world go by.

My only regret is not taking more photos of this adorable, modern, market and eatery.I love a black and white graphic aesthetic, and MRKT space when in heavy hand on this look. Im here for it.The barista is steaming up hot and iced coffees as well as pouring some craft cocktails, your choice. An open window to the kitchen gives a fresh feel to the lite bites they offer. There are a handfulOf prepped snacks ready to go as well as a pastry selection.We settled into an outside patio table, ordered a beautiful smoked salmon toast and an almond croissant. The latter was a recommendation from the server, and it was as decadent as she said it would be!We spent a few hours here chatting and dreaming about life, and never felt rushed. The staff was friendly and around to help keep our table tidy, always with a smile.The marketplace is filled with local small treats, from smudge sticks and candles to art and wine. I had to tell myself no a few times to avoid spending my paycheck on a basket full of goodies. This would be a great place to pick up a last minute hostess gift!There are quite a few local and speciality snacks too, think charcuterie board extras!At the end of the day, they have to have good coffee, since that is a main draw of this space. And they do. Confirmed I will be back ;)Pro Tip: as your server to warm up your almond croissant, that ooey-gooey center is just that much better that way!

The only reason I give it a 4/5 is the seating options are very uncomfortable, especially the stools. There are some tables with more comfortable chairs but those areas are marked as no screen zones. I go there to work so need to be in the stool area to use my computer. If there was more comfortable stools I would be there every day.

Nothing is a bigger bummer than a go-to spot changing their menu. MRKT space offered 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salads. I went it today to see a new menu and learn they have removed this option and removed the BLT from the menu. I don’t know why people “try” to fix things that aren’t broken. Super bummed I have to find a new weekly lunch spot.

Love coming to this place to get done work done during the day. Good food and there is a Flatbread happy hour. I can buy some stuff back home from the market too. Wish they have a bit more plugs.

Tasty Paloma cocktails with yummy bruschetta and a nice atmosphere in Leucadia for your local hang out. Highly recommend trying it out for snacking, cocktails, wine and beer.

This place is a cool hangout, great if you want two people watch. I always get coffee here, I would say was average but never hot enough. I like my coffee hot and it always feels a little over lukewarm. But other than that its good, and the pastries are good also.

I used to love this spot, I’d take my clients here and work from here about 3 times a week. I also used to do happy hour business idea nights with gfs here too. Unfortunately, that’s changed as they got rid of their WiFi and also don’t have working outlets.Since that move happened a lot of people in the community stopped coming here. I get wanting more dine in guests but most of your guests in Encinitas are work from home people or entrepreneurs who used to love to work from here and didn’t mind supporting your business to be able to work from here. Now whenever I walk by this place ( which is almost everyday) its completely empty - used to be a super fun hub.Take your business to lofty or queenstage - better food and they don’t mind you using their WiFi either.

This is such an awesome place that’s well curated and with lovely staff. Coffee is decent too! However for the second time in a row in the same week, just got their packaged takeout cooler salad and it was rancid again, when both the hummus and the salmon salad were meant to be good for another 4+ days based on the expiration. Big bummer.

Ive defended this place for a while because it had a good co-working feel, and kept telling friends to overlook the overpriced, way-too-small portions of food and drinks. Unfortunately Im now in the majority that are just done with this place. They have put plates over the outlets so nobody can charge a laptop while working there anymore (the only people ever in there are working!). After I accepted that Id just go with a full charge, they turned off the WIFI. In the year 2023 AD. Now, they have a massive table where it is reserved only for people eating, which is a potential foreshadowing as it is almost always completely empty. I do hope they see the light and understand who their customers are (were), but I see the attempt to be vibey outpacing the understanding of the customer. Ill move on to one of the many other coffee shops in town that make you feel welcomed to be there, of which there are many.

Love the manager (shout out to Maddy) & staff - but why get rid of wifi? At least check in with your customers before making a huge change. It leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouths.

Delish coffee, pastries, and food. Its like a little market, bistro, coffee shop, and boutique all wrapped into an awesome Leucadia location.

To the owners, your service/staff/drinks are great! What the heck are you doing with these random changes that don’t speak to your customers (but seem to speak to what you WANT the place to be)? Example: When you have a consistent cohort of work-from-anywhere customer coming here spending money on food, coffee, enjoying the vibe and WIFI…lean into that—don’t try to change the vibe and make it a wino place with no wifi. There are enough coffee shops around with the no wifi thing going on, why get rid WiFi? I could just go to Pannakin for that.

Extremely poor service, very very slow. I ordered a plain black tea and a cookie, and paid for it. After waiting more than 40 mins, I grew tired and left. The place was almost empty. A few customers who came after me were served before me. This is the worst I’ve ever been treated by an establishment

Used to be one of my absolute fav new spots in North County. Id come for a morning coffee a couple times a week, sometimes with a friend, other times with a laptop. Then they killed the wifi, which seems passive aggressive, like complete overkill as they were never short on space.

Excellent ambiance with a delectable menu, including tea and wine selection, and most importantly, very friendly management; Jordan and Lucas are awesome and always on top of it... as well as Mattie, The Manager....(We could use couple more power outlets for when we do some work, but overall, the fantastic atmosphere outweighs it) Thank you, Jordan, Lucas, and the rest of the MRKT Space Team, for all your hard work! 5+ stars are well deserved!

Charcuterie board was weak. Also the wine was way overpriced and it wasn’t even a full pour. Seating limited - we ate in the middle of a grocery aisle but it was kind of fun. The farro salad was really good and the snacks look tasty.
