Bottom line: If you value your money and time, take your device to a reputable business and dont bother with this clown.Things started out nicely. The man was friendly, his prices were reasonable, and he fixed my phone quickly. However, less than two weeks after he repaired my device, the replacement screen went bad. I hadnt even used the device yet; it had been sitting on my desk unused since I brought it home from his shop. It wasnt until I powered it up to put a sim in it that I even discovered the issue. When I sent him a picture of the phone and asked him about the bad screen, he first insisted that the screen was fractured and thats why the screen looked the way it did. Well, as you can see in the picture that Ive attached to this review (same picture that I showed him), the screen is obviously not fractured, cracked, or damaged in any way. When I then asked if there was any sort of warranty on his labor or parts, he effectively told me no.He then tried to make the case that some pressure must have been applied to the screen to make it fail as it did. I dont buy it. Any pressure great enough to damage the screen like that should have cracked, fractured, or damaged the glass and, as you can see in the photo, the screen remains in physically perfect shape.Clearly, whatever parts he is using are cheap and prone to failure.Either way: terrible customer service. Take your patronage elsewhere.

Incredible service! I’m not tech person but D. McKinney us and I’m so grateful for his service. He helped me recover and gain access to my IPad when someone changed my password, he’s helped on numerous occasions with my IPhone including restoring iCloud info. And he repaired the glass on a Samsung Ultra 22 and it looked better than when purchased. The best part about the repair was that he came to us. We were able to grab a cocktail and watch him work in a comfortable environment. The convenience and service he offers is unmatched. Thanks, D!

Had a great experience with Mr. Telephone Man. When I first called, I didnt realize that he doesnt work Sundays, but he still bothered to return my call and set up an appointment on his day off. On the day of the actual repair, he was very accommodating and agreed to work at a desk I had set up in the backyard as an added COVID precaution. The work was quick and professionally done, and the phone came back looking like new with a fresh screen protector. Best of all, this was the cheapest iPhone phone repair Id ever had done, which was a pleasant surprise. Really honest pricing for high quality work. Very communicative and friendly, too, always a plus. Hands down recommend Mr. Telephone Man!

Super fast and efficient, was able to diagnose and fix my phone within an hour, time and money well spent! My screen had cracked and lost touch sensitivity on one half of the phone, Mr. Telephone Man was able to figure out the issue, fix it put a new screen protector on for me. I also enjoyed the cell phone museum that he had in the shop it was very nostalgic to see some old phones. Definitely recommend him for your next cell phone needs.

Even late at night Mr. Telephone man drove by just to try and fix my phone. He did everything he can to revive my phone but I guess its too late. He didnt charged me for the service and I appreciate him for that and also for trying. My phone has been dead for a year and is understandable but I still want to see if we can turn it on. The business is very flexible and will recommend him. He also fixes other gadgets so Ill give him a call if we need repairs.

My iPhone screen fractured yesterday. I found Mr. Telephone online - and what a find he was!!! He was at my home in only a couple of hours after I reached out to him. He replaced my screen in less than an hour.He is very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to work with. He let me watch through the process - so I learned what the inside workings of an iPhone are. He was very careful to make sure my phone was still in good working order before he even began to take it apart, and that it was still working perfectly before he closed the case.I highly recommend Mr. McKinney and would certainly use him again if I had the need. And I may because he also is an expert on fixing computers!!

Installed a poor quality replacement screen that made all videos choppy, drained a full battery in 3 hours, had low brightness/wrong colors, and developed a crack after one day of light pocket use.Owner was rude and confrontational in solving the problem. Ended up walking away with my same broken screen and out nearly $200.I would discourage supporting this business.

Had an 5-year old HTC 10 phone that needed a new battery. I ordered the battery online and Dee offered to install my new battery at a reasonable price. The phone required more work than expected so Dee provided me with a good temporary phone and had parts expressed over the Thanksgiving holiday. I would consider him very honest, straight forward and easy to talk too. I offered a nice tip for what I considered exceptional service and at first he refused until I convinced him it was worth it to me. He is also very Covid aware and always made sure I entered his shop masked. I trust him.

Fixed my phone back in December. I also had a hoverboard that had some electronic issues, I gave him a text about it. He said he wasnt familiar with them, but hed take a look. Me Telephone man has been a life saver for me. I’ve been using them for the last 3 years for all my tech needs and support, including my phones, tablets and iMacs. It started out with him just repairing my phone screen and then I needed him for tech support on my computer. I’ve even bought and sold him devices. I have a Google Pixel 3 XL and I was surprised at how none of the phone repair experts that came up via Google search knew how to replace a screen on one. Every place I contacted had an iPhone/Samsung only policy. Mr. Telephone Man came through and made all the other repair places look pretty bad since he was not only able to have my replacement screen in stock within a day or two but he drove out to my residence and did the repair in under an hour. My phone retained all of its original functionality and his price for the repair was damn near half of what Googles officially recommended repair strategy was through their sponsored third party company. If you need a screen fix, try Mr. Telephone Man first. Itll save you a ton of time and money and you dont need an iPhone or a Samsung for him to help you out.

D is so knowledgeable! And really came through for me saving me a ton of time with Apple Care. The first time I used Mr. Telephone Man I cracked my Samsung screen really bad. He went out of his way to find a replacement screen. Recently, I had a homeless man try to steal my IPAD and even set a password, basically locking me out of it. I called D and he walked me through doing a reset in a way that kept my photos and stuff. I have never backed it up so I was worried but he knew exactly what to do. During the COVID era, most business are closed, especially Apple. When one door closes, others open. I needed three batteries replaced for my wife’s iPhoneX, my sister-in-law’s iphone7, and my own iPhoneX. Me and my wife’s batteries were below 80% after over two years of constant use.Mr. Telephone Man came to the house, and was incredibly accommodating. To promote safety he wore a mask the entire time, wipes down the phones with alcohol for disinfecting, and accepts Venmo for contactless payments. The repairs were swift and prompt, pretty much in and out in no time, with a pleasant conversation.My sister in law’s phone was a last minute additional service, and he was flexible and accommodating in that regard as well. My sister in law’s screen was going out, and he replaced that too. He even applied screen protectors to my wife and sister’s devices as they were cracked.It’s a blessing in disguise when the apple stores are closed, because we now have a very reliable technician that is dependable and delivers fantastic service should we need any work done in the future.Support your local businesses people. He was Knowledgeable, Promt and went the extra mile to take care of my repair. He also helped me take care of an unrelated problem. He didn’t have to do that for me. I feel that behavior is indicative of a technician that understands that serving those he is required to serve is an opportunity to do things for others just because helping people feels good. it also causes the recipient to want to have future help from him or his company.. anyone would be wise to hire him.
