We couldnt get enough of the breathtaking million dollar views from our lakefront room #131.The linens were fresh and clean. Although the room could use some updating it was functional and spacious. It had a rustic homey feel.We enjoyed cooking our own food.We made a few suggestions to help with the experience. The staff were quick to resolve most issues. They cared to follow up with how your stay was going which is a very unique touch. The location is so close to many other activities down the road, and stores for food and shopping. The private aspect of their resort is sweet.We missed out on their new Hot tubs as they were being installed toward the end of our stay, but look forward to them next time.We enjoyed kayaking and water biking right off their beach. Justin was a super pleasant and patient young man. We enjoyed talking with him. He helped us with our activities and made us feel very welcome. So many other activities to enjoy plus live music on a weekend. Overall, we loved our stay. God willing, we hope to return next summer with our kids and grandkids.Thank you Alex, family and staff for providing such a wonderful place.

Beautiful view with lakeside cabin. The rest are not worth the cost. We stayed two nights during snow storm and freezing weather. Our heater went out second night at 10PM. I messaged front desk for maintenance. No one responded till 7:30 next morning. Went all night with no heat. Manager stated they could not give discount but would give us credit if we stayed again. We will not be returning.

The view was pretty and the beach is nice. However the hotel is being remodeled and it was a mess. Many rooms had all the furniture just sitting around outside the doors, the hot tub no longer exists so don’t count on that, fireplace didn’t work, our tv didn’t work, bed was old and lumpy and the internet was down the whole time we were there, so no wifi. It was disappointing for us as it was the last night of our honeymoon road trip. Wait til the remodel is done to visit.

Less rooms meaning less crowd for you to enjoy the beach!! Get out of the room and jump in cool water… or in winters - get out of room and make snowman on the beach - this is a must stay experience for all

My husband and I just returned from our 1st stay at the Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort in Tahoe Vista. The location is awesome - located directly on the beach, and close to dozens of restaurant choices. And amazingly quiet, considering its location right on the main lakefront road.We would like to add kudos to your outstanding manager, Travis, for standing by us in a booking dispute with a 3rd party company, which shall remain nameless. Because of his patience and support, our near-disaster stay turned into a memorable vacation. We will return, and booking directly with your resort!

The 3 Stars for the room is because they are outdated and the room I was staying in smelled.. probably due to the outdated kitchen cabinets from cooking all these years. The 3 Stars for the service is due to well.. the Manager Corinna explained to me it is necessary to do Construction Below’ my room at 8:00am because they need to “update” their rooms (which leads back to my review of the room). Not too impressed with her response as they should have notified me OR not rented me this particular room if they knew construction was to happen. BUT- kudos go to the service their Bookkeeper Sherri (who was put in the position of managing the desk that morning).. who stepped up and got me another room and even a better room for my inconvenience. It’s because of Sherri I may be back to Mourelatos. The 5 Stars for location, well.. you can’t beat the beauty of Lake Tahoe.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms that are well outfitted including fridge, microwave, coffee maker. So close to the lake you can hear the water lapping at the shore. They were very accommodating to our late arrival and need to depart a bit later than expected. Close access to a variety of restaurants and a grocery. Would definitely stay here again.

Stunning views at the beach, though our room had a pretty sharp angle for seeing the lake. Sparing time to take a stroll (if visiting in winter) on the beach is worthwhile.The room itself is spacious, though a more thoughtful layout of the furnishings would substantially improve the overall experience. For example, it would be good to have a table in front of the sofa (we moved the round table from the deck into our room to substitute - you can see it in the photos) so that one could sit at the sofa and eat or rest. Also, our coolers, etc., were all spread right in front of the kitchenette area (microwave & frig) for lack of storage to stow food stuff, making it difficult to operate if eating in, and things looked a mess.We requested a quiet room, and were placed on the 2nd floor. It was mostly quiet - until a family with a crying baby checked in on our 2nd day of stay. From then, we would be awakened at 3 am, or early mornings every day. The heater is VERY annoying. Work me up (and I wasnt even the lightest sleeper in our group) every night in the dead of night. This is not something the hotel can fix easily without replacing the heating unit in every room!Would we stay here again? Maybe. Location was great, on the beachfront & near Northstar. Pricing was not outrageous for the location. Also, other guests said the hot tub was hot enough (we never tried, since it would involve going to the middle of the parking lot wearing a bathing suit, in winter). Would we want to check out other hotels in the future? Absolutely.

First off the owner was an absolutely wonderful man! Super welcoming and explained all the location had to offer and was incredibly accommodating to us with our disabled son. The location was beautiful, clean and a pleasure to stay at. The room was well decorated, clean and nice sized. They even include paddle boards, kayaks, hydro bikes and rafts in the cost of your reservation! That’s unheard of! The beach area is super clean and well accommodating as well. In the evening they have fire pits that create an amazing ambiance. We will definitely be making this a return destination for our family.

Arrived after 9pm the front desk was already closed. But the staff left keys and welcome letter at the desk and kindly called ahead of time. So self checkin was very easy.The hotel location is quite continent.A few experiences to be improved.1. Room door does not have a manual lock inside. So it’s possible someone with an incorrectly programmed key can walk into the room. Room door also does not have a privacy screen.2. Shower water was hot in the beginning, then temperature dropped to around room temperature at the highest setting.3. Poor sound proof from upstair guest and pipe running.4. Small things not operational. Floor lamp cannot turn on. TV cannot switch channel.

From trying to navigate booking a room to checking out, the process was so easy because of how great and communicative staff was. The room was so cozy, the view was unbeatable, and it was a close enough drive to everything we wanted to do. We especially enjoyed the fire pits on the sand. I look forward to staying here again some day!

We were there during the middle of a big storm and they kept the parking lot cleared, and helped us with anything we needed. The location was great for being close to the lake and also for being very close to the ski resorts.

The hotel location is perfect. 20-30 mins in average to Homewood, Northstar, mount Rose, Palisades - very convenient. Close to restaurants and Safeway. Beach views are amazing.For the price we paid the rooms were a bit outdated. We lived in 133 at first with small micro-kitchen, but without dining table. This was very disappointing. Then we moved to more expensive room 124 with full kitchen and this room had a table. Both rooms had very old electric outlets which couldn’t hold our phones’ chargers and we had to move furniture closer to hold them :) Bed linens were also very old and sofa bed didn’t have any warm blanket.Overall impression - hotel management needs to make some improvements considering the room price.

My husband and I absolutely loved it here. Great location on North Shore. Our room faced the lake with an unbelievable view. Rooms are very spacious, a little older, but very clean. Enjoyed the paddle boards and live music right on property. Although it was just my husband and I, so many families having a wonderful time creating such a great vibe. Staff was very nice as well. Highly recommend.

From the moment I checked in, I felt friendly service! I checked in early and they hustled to get my room ready early. The beach accommodations (chairs, umbrellas, toys) were amazing. I loved their txt messaging to advise of weather, music, checkout, etc. very helpful. Grounds were family friendly with games, fire pits and grills. The layout of the property is nice as we all have a patio, spacious rooms and a lake view. Highly recommend!

I searched and searched for a hotel on the lake and could not have been happier with Mourelatos. The rooms are fabulous, large and equipped with a a wonderful fireplace, refrig, sink and cleaning products if you want to eat in. Two doors in the room; one opening to the deck and the porch. WE could not hear a peep from the other rooms. But we could hear the lake lapping onto the beach. We did not stay very long so did not take advantage of the water but there were various kinds of equipment to use if someone decided to do so. Reasonable price, great bed and pillows, so spacious and the best best part is the view directly on the lake. I cannot praise this place enough. Stay here and you will be very happy.

This is a great location with a nice beach area. Rooms are small but clean. There is oftentimes music in the evening and they have fire pits and nice outdoor seating to enjoy the evening music. There are many decent restaurants around the area, a place to get ice cream across the street, and a Safeway not too far away.

We by chance happened to find this wonderful resort in Tahoe. We arrived late on our motorcycles and checked in. The next day we were enamored with the grounds and beach access. I asked about staying another night, the GM of the resort worked with us to get a great rate and another night. We have a new favorite place to stay next time we are in Tahoe- the beach, staff, paddle boarding and even life music was awesome.

Its was a very nice experience. Would return, great outdoor water activities. The only bad part was that guests would place towels and personal items on the beach chairs, around 5-6 a.m. and basically reserve for themselves the chairs the entire day, only to use them for an hour or so leaving casual users out.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. We stayed in the forest side cabin again, it’s our favorite.On the forest side, it was peaceful and quiet BUT it could be a bit nicer, not having to look at the workers cars broken down cars or all the trailers. Maybe a little fence separating that side for more privacy might be nice. That side of the property could be a little nicer. Our cabin area was great, but the floors were very dirty. Wonderful customer service was easy to communicate and very accommodating. The young kids working the water equipment work extremely hard worker and are super helpful. It was great to seem son good changes to the property this year and some of the new water equipment. The kids had a blast. Can not wait for next year.

We were happy to have been able to stay at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort recently, along with other family members. We occupied four rooms. Travis (at the front desk) was helpful in answering the many questions we had as first-time guests. Charles (the beach-side assistant) met every conceivable need bringing out (or moving) lounge chairs and umbrellas and assisting with the use of the great outdoor equipment (kayaks, paddle bikes, etc.) provided. The little extras (treasure hunt, yoga session, live band on the beach) were nice surprises for all involved. Because we occupied multiple rooms and were in and out of all of them frequently, the only suggestion I would make is to be sure each room is equipped with an amenities binder. Our room had none, but other family members had one. I imagine, if we had a binder, we wouldnt have bothered Travis quite as often as we did, asking if bar-b-que tools were available or rods for smores were provided (which they were). Were looking forward to returning again next year!! Thanks for a great family vacation!

Great place to stay in Tahoe. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The place has its own private beach with a bunch of water activities like Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, etc. These activities are free and included in your room + resort fees cost. This is a second generation family run business so Im not going to give it less than five stars because overall its a very good place and its important to support independently owned, local businesses.The location is obviously excellent because its on the lake and has its own beach. They also rent cabins that are right across the street. Views from rooms near Lake are pretty awesome. Staff was very helpful in choosing a room with less shared walls for sound privacy.I hope management will take into consideration the following feedback in terms of improvements I would humbly suggest:No utensils in the room was frustrating because the restaurant I got take out from also did not provide utensils.There is a light switch in room 142 where I stayed that strangely seems to light up one of the fixtures in the adjacent room.The shower pressure was a bit weak for taste and the shower nozzle is a very basic, cheap kind with only one setting. All Im saying is that if your branding as a nice resort then to me that shower head is not good enough.The TV situation is disappointing because there is a Netflix, etc. menu that doesnt work so its a bit of a tease. Also it was very difficult to figure out how to access the standard cable channels. I couldnt figure it out within 10 minutes so I stopped trying.Most of the pillows were too mushy in terms of firmness.Im into privacy so I had to cover up the see-through window panels in both doors.Fourth step from the top of the stairs going up to room 142 was extremely icy and slippery because the sun had not burned it off yet. Probably should have more warning signs about that at the bottom and top of every staircase.Not sure if there were any hot tub jets.I wasnt sure how to contact staff after the front office had closed for the night.

If you are going to North shore, this is the best resort you can possibly choose. The staff and location are outstanding. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. My husband and I came on our 20th anniversary and and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. It felt more like staying with family (in all the best ways) than staying at a resort. Staff helped us feel comfortable and welcome with suggestions on where to eat and where to explore. This was my first time there, and the room was great always warm it fit all five of us (2 adults and 3 kids). The lake was right outside with a big field of snow. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, there is also a safeway with a starbuck minutes away. Our kids loved it. The service when I called to book the rooms was great, but when I called the second time to ask about an amenity the person I spoke to was a little rude, he told me that I should have not have gotten that rate for the rooms. I felt like that should not have been brought up to the customer but the person who booked it. Other than that would definitely go back.

Wonderful experience! The resort is perfectly located and the accommodations were CLEAN. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were great quality. We stayed in the well equipped cabins located just across the road from Lake Tahoe in early April. Sunrise to sunset we were out enjoying the natural beauties of the area and the comfort and conveniences of the cabin allowed us to refresh, rest and repeat. Communications from the resort beginning to end was prompt and informative. We have found our place of preference when we visit Lake Tahoe and look forward to returning again soon. The rooms are very always clean and nice (ours was huge, big enough to do yoga on the floor!) and everything works. The views of the lake were spectacular from our room. Check in/out is a breeze, all done via text. Whenever we do call the resort, the employees are always extremely nice and helpful. They have special rates for returning guests, which make a tangible difference in the rate. We were comfortable and felt COVID-safe there. We will definitely be back!

Having the beach just a few steps from our room was fabulous. The room was very comfortable - we loved having a kitchen! I was awesome having paddle boards and kayaks available to borrow at any time. One possible improvement would be the reliability of the beach staff - they seemed to be missing in action quite a bit. But overall, this was a fabulous place to stay and we will definitely be back!

Stayed here a number of times, Summer and Winter. This stay last Friday 1/27, was not the best. Parking lot was poorly maintained/drained, lots of dangerous ice. Some of the stairwells had major snow and ice, yes I know about the great storms but it had been some time. No ice machines, had to go to front desk. Only one hot tub working.

Pleasantly surprised from the reservation and to arriving at the cabin. Call late Thursday night and Alex picked up the phone. We wanted to stay Fri Friday through Monday, yes, very last minute. He said all rooms are booked but he has 1 cabin available. Just by chance we happened to know his late dad who lived a couple of blocks from our house.The cabin was very welcoming and it had everything that we needed. A full kitchen with LG appliances, and a comfortable queen bed.The staff make sure we arrived and find everything to our expectation and they are very responsive to our need.Thank you Alex and team

Weve been coming to Mourelatos for the past 14 years or so. Originally it was just my wife, daughter and me. Then with extended family, and after that, we added another family... and this year it was 14 in all. In 4 different rooms. We love coming during the Labor Day weekend. We stop at Safeway in Kings Beach and then check in. We can grill every night, cook breakfast in a kitchen room, and not have to leave the property if we dont want to. Theres plenty of water-related activities including a trampoline for the kids. Water bikes, kayaks and so on. There was live music Thursday and Saturday nights, and also Sunday afternoon. Days are full of sun and fun, while evenings are magical, with firepits for smores. We just love it, and we will be back to create more great memories next year.

I been coming here for years now and must say this is my first bad experience here. Was put in room 148 first night and could not sleep due to traffic noise and construction off in a distance. Too hot to close windows. Switched rooms next morning. Second day there there my 16 year old was sitting on the beach and one of the workers from resort comes up and asks her for her phone number. I found out later in the evening when my daughter told me.Very unprofessional in my opinion as a father of 3 girls. Third day power goes out in my bathroom and kitchen only. They asked if I wanted to change rooms again. By this time Im pretty much done. I will strongly consider an AIRBNB next year when I come back to Tahoe. Also got charged a resort fee on my first day when I had a late check in and could not use any water toys as it was past seven.

This place was absolute perfection for our 4 families. The beach with chairs/umbrellas, free SUP, kayak, and water bikes and pleasant attendants was amazing. My kids used the ping pong table, sand toys, and hot tub every day. Even their text-based service was amazing. Just text if you need something and it shows up! Combine all that with a convenient location near Safeway and easy access and parking and its a home run. We will certainly be back. Our new favorite Tahoe spot!

This was ok. The water temperature as far as your shower, bath, and spa is horrible. I’m disappointed. It’s my birthday and I wanted to spend some time a little ways from south beach and I made a mistake. You have limited hot water here. If you ski or snowboard or just want to come in to warm up, don’t come here. Very disappointed. Good view depending on the room. My bath wouldn’t even fill with hot water. Less than like warm. My girl was very disappointed and it’s my birthday

My family and I have stayed at Mourelatos several times and each time had a wonderful experience. North Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite vacation places and Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort is always our first choice. The family that owns the resort are warm and caring about their guests. I recently stayed here with a friend from Germany. As we arrived by car, she inhaled a huge breath at the views of the lake with the snowy capped mountain peaks in the background. The sandy beach was gorgeous and we were able to relax in the lounge chairs. It was quite windy the two days we were there but we braved the afternoon winds, listening to the live music for 3 hours which was incredible. The room was more than comfortable with all amenities with the vaulted ceiling giving such a spacious feel. The staff were helpful, giving great tips on restaurants, hikes and assisting with some bus routes/glitches we experienced while trying to stay out of the car and onto public transportation. I highly recommend this place for it’s originality, friendliness, as well as relaxing feel.

Good customer service comes from the top down - Alex Mourelatos is a voice youll hear on the phone when you call and a face youll see on property when youre here. Hes the owner in case you didnt catch that yet.... Mourelatos resort!He greets his guests with smiles and hugs. The property is GORGEOUS. We were across the street and were sad checking in but we had all the amenities everyone else had plus our own little cabin with a full kitchen.Anything we needed we could communicate w/ the front desk via text and before we got the reply on the text someone was politely knocking on our door with whatever we needed.The property has a resort fee that includes paddle boards, water bikes, kayaks, and WiFi, onsite grills with propane included, etc. They give you info sheets on local restaurants. They have an ice cream parlor onsite. Live music. And his staff????!!!!!! THE BEST IN TOWN. And they speak so highly of Alex and they are so happy. Most of my reviews are so short but I cant wrap this up. Definitely will come back in the winter. Its situated so close to all the slopes.

Breathtaking winter vistas right on the shore of Lake Tahoe. The rooms are much nicer than a typical hotel. The hot tub is open year-round and the office provides free cocoa, snow shoes, and sleds. This place has forever changed how I view other resorts and they have set the bar high.All of the staff is friendly and will actually smile and say hello to you. They will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable from getting out th kayaks to helping start a fire late at night. The owner is so genuine and you can tell has a heart for the community and hospitality. Jasmyn and Preston were five star employees.The resort location is perfect and beautiful, close to kings beach which has lots of shops and dining. Not perfect but ultimately my family and I had a great stay at Mourelatos. The not so great: some in-room equipment, while clean, is showing signs of wear; The power jumper popped twice within 30 minutes of moving in; The big un-curtained window (Lakeside rooms) are great at night (you can see the moon and stars while laying in bed) but also means sunlight in your face in the morning; The rooms are not so sound proof and you can hear conversations next door if they are slightly louder than average. Now the GOOD: Staffs are very friendly; The private beach is awesome with water sports equipment free for use; The view is fantastic; On our last day they were flexible with late checkout; And the hot chocolate machine is just icing on the cake. If my family and I go back to North Tahoe, we will definitely check out Mourelatos again.

Incredible place. Our first family vacation to Tahoe and they treated us like family. Greek wine tastings, yoga, kayaks, paddle boarding, all the amenities free of charge for guests. My wife and I spent a couple of nights relaxing at the Mourelatos resort on a driving tour around California. This is a small family run resort on the quiet northern shore with its own sand beach leading to the beautiful clear-water lake. We felt welcomed and appreciated from the moment we arrived, and there were activities in the evenings including Greek wine tasting and live music. The beach team were helpful, the sunbeds and shades well looked after, and we spent a very pleasant day in the sun before driving on to Yosemite. Great little resort hotel right on a private beach on the lake. Tons of beach toys, games, chairs with umbrellas, fire pits and bbqs. Kayaks, water bikes and paddle boards are available and included with your daily resort fee. If you get tired of the water, theres a great park near by with all sorts of activities and a ropes course. Our room has a full kitchen, a little small, but great for making meals, unfortunately no dish washer. Bathroom is a little dated and the hot tubs are a little close to the street. These was always a staff person no matter where we were on the property and they were always friendly and helpful. Our family had a great time and will definitely come back!

The best part about this place is the private beach; yet, they wouldn’t let us use their kyack or paddle boards because no one was available to help us with them ( we didn’t need help) and all fire pits and ice machines were not working. Incredible location, outstanding staff, great amenities, such as fire pits (gas), tons of beach toys, including SUP boards, kayaks, and more! There is a BBQ - the staff noticed us trying to start it and were there instantly to help. There is ping-pong set up in the sand, beach volleyball, and one night we were there, someone set up an outdoor movie screen for the kids. The rooms are clean, the beds were comfortable, although it is a bit dated and due for some updating here and there. The rooms with a wet bar have teeny-tiny coffee cups, but there is coffee in the lobby if that drop doesnt wake you up, and great cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms with full kitchens that are better equipped, with a larger coffee maker and bigger cups, as well as a full size fridge and table and chairs. What a fun place to host a family gathering. There are a couple of spas but no pool - go jump in the lake!

We love the possibility of a room with a kitchenette, which is great for a family and it you want to skip eating out. This is the 2nd time with the family at this resort.Pros:+ location+ private beach+ guest eventscons:- return guest rate was higher than we paid last year (inflation)? informed front desk and was told shell see what she can do... upon check out had to ask if anything was/could be done and the answer was NO. May think twice next time around.- room service (room was left dirty one of the days we stayed there; also did not replenish used up shampoo/conditioner for 2 straight days!); call to front desk resolved the issue.- parking (hard to find parking perhaps limit one car per room onsite and the rest street park)?- were promised good views from our second from lake shore room; room was mostly blocked by 2 big tents right in front of our balcony for the 4 days we were there. We were offered a room further away from shore and for $50 more per night - declined it; it should have been offered at the same rate (at minimum).It may seem that the cons out-way the pros but overall well most likely be back with the family at this great resort.I understand no place is perfect but sometimes the little things do add up to the overall experience.

After a stressful experience when my original hotel here in town didnt work out I was homeless tired hungry and just walked in here hoping to find a last minute place for the weekend. I knew my hotel stress was over when warmly welcomed here and saw the choice of two beautiful rooms at the rate I needed for my government per diem.The staff went above board also to make suggestions of places to eat and things to do in the area.I used the business center and there are board games and videos to borrow.A very pleasant relaxing place to stay. Loved our time at Mourelatos, especially being right on the water in the honeymoon suite since it was our 39th wedding anniversary. The two reasons we didnt give the unit a 5 star is because keeping the unit warm was a bit of a challenge at first. We woke up our first morning and the unit was 64 degrees. The only heat source is the electric fireplace. It was cold and very windy outside and the cold radiated through the windows. We let the front desk know and they immediately gave us a portable heating unit that took care of the problem. Also, the price we paid, $275/nt + resort fee & tax was too high for what we got in our opinion. It was very nice, but no THAT nice. Everything else was excellent!

We had booked this place pretty last minute and it was the more affordable place we could find that was nearby Northstar. The room I had originally booked was a lake view room and to our surprise - we did only got a partial lake view room. The setting if the resort is great! Lakeview and private sandy beach has two firepits and Adirondack chairs to sit on while enjoying the views. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathrooms are outdated compared to the other aspects of the room. They were clean, in good condition, but have old white 6x6 tile counters, linoleum flooring and basic fiberglass tub/shower combo. TV was large and on a swing arm so you could angle it as you pleased. Lots of channels. Bed was on the hard side but bedding was nice. Wall heater made noises after it went off and on throughout the night. Not loud sounds but annoying clicking sound. While in the bathroom, you can literally hear every word the people in the next room were saying. Must be through the vent system. We had a full, but small, kitchen. It was sufficient. Did not have paper towels or anything other than one hand towel to use. If your door or window was open you could hear street noise. Resort is right on the street. Glad we did it have a room close to it, or it would have been too loud. Lobby is small, but has board games and DVDs to borrow. Staff was friendly. Has two good size hot tubs right by the street. Did not use them though. The access to the lake and views are amazing. I would stay there again soley for this reason.

We were informed that there would be a wedding party during our stay and that the music would be over by 10:00pm. We were planning on checking out at 4am to go to the Hot Air Balloon Festival at dawn the next day. We had an 80 year old and a child with us (to see the balloons). At 11:00pm the wedding guests were still going strong, lots of yelling and loud talking outside the rooms which all face the hot-tub where many guests were partying. We couldnt close the windows because there was no air-conditioning. At midnight I went to the front desk, but they actually close and there are no staff anywhere. I tried to call to ask if someone could quiet the partying guests but the reference book in the room said to press zero on the room phone, however there was no phone in the room. I tried to call the hotel directly but the choices were to call the guest room number to speak to the registered guests (hard when there is no phone in the room). No way to actually speak to anyone. I asked the drunk guests if they could tone it down. That went over well. It was finally quiet about 1:00am. Because we couldnt get our child or elderly relative to sleep due to the noise, we didnt go to the festival. Definitely not worth the price.

The beach is clean with beautiful view. 2) Big parking lot within the premise is convenient. 3) Microwave and some kitchen utensils provided in the room are useful. 4) The lady owner and her cute little dog are very nice and friendly. 5) Complimentary hot drinks and the cosy sitting area by the fireplace near the reception are a lovely touch. 6) The bathroom is renovated and modern.Cons: 1) It was a bummer and unexpected that our lake-view room is right below the staircase. Thus, we clearly heard the foot steps of people going up and down. The biggest problem was this little kid upstairs who ran around almost all the time, since mid afternoon upon check-in, until 11 pm, and the next day in the morning since 6 am.We actually had spoken to the good looking, dark-haired gentleman at the front desk who checked us in, shortly after we got into our room, to see whether we could move to another room, or to the least, for him to ask the upstairs guests to tell their child not to make so much noise. He, to our surprise, coldly and abruptly dismissed us, saying This is a check-in time. Thered be no more noise later! (wow, really?) And theres nothing we could do about this. All the rooms are booked. He was actually a lot nicer when we were checking-in.2) We had an urgency to use wifi at night to e-mail some important business files. The wifi speed was extremely low. So we couldnt get it done for a long time. However, the speed picked up in the morning and we could send the files through. We understand the mountain areas tend to have this problem. Probably too many guests were using wifi at night.

At 3:00 in the afternoon on a Wednesday in late April our room had not been cleaned or beds made. Once I went to the office to complain, they finally cleaned the room at 3:30. Depending on the room you get, could be a 1 star and could be a 4 plus star. We have stayed many times but probably no longer. Our last stays room had a heater that runs with loud banging/clanking noise, bright light shines in door window and points right at the bed, sliding glass door to deck would not open, coffee and breakfast was not available till after 7 (we had to leave earlier for our outing) and when I let them the check in clerk know, her reply was thats to bad, but she did say it in a nice way and said she wondered if they could fix the heater...?? ummm ya, tune it up or replace it.If you want a good nights sleep, go somewhere else, if you dont care about sleep the location is good and the view of the lake from many rooms is beautiful.I should add that the service in the past had been good, it was just this last time that they failed.

The room was nice and perfect for our needs and everyone was polite, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Two negatives stand out unfortunately. When I originally called to confirm a rate for the weekend, the front desk person was rude and interrupted my question. There is also a surprise mandatory resort fee tacked on when you check in, making the price $15-20 more expensive per night. This wasnt mentioned during the booking process at all.

Right on the beach! My room was large and well furnutshed. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The window encompasses a beautiful view of the lake. Their two jacuzzis are open year round. There are gas bar b ques all around. Chairs, picnic tables, and lounges on the beach. Friendly staff. Coffee and tea in the common room. My AARP card got me a discount. Give them a visit.

There was loud music and party going on until 9:30 pm. Moreover the checkin process was an unwelcoming experience. No one at the desk, had to wait for 15-20 mins till the hostess showed up. Few spots to park your car, rest end up roadside. Again you are paying the premium price for the beach view rest all is subpar. Noisy and squeky floors, we were on 1st floor could not sleep because of our top floor neighbors until 12pm. Our booking had breakfast included but the resort did not serve any breakfast. Not visiting again. 2 stars are for the location.

It’s more like 10 stars this place. It’s adorable. What a gem. But above all the staff are amazing. We got stuck and couldn’t get there after a highway closure. First surprise: they actually answer their phones right away without putting you on hold for hours. Travis was super sweet and accommodating shifting our reservation at no cost. It’s a family business and the staff has been here for decades. Special shout out to Corina who kindly checked us in a bit early due to the heavy winter storm conditions. Super clean lovely comfy rooms with a sofa, dining table, microwave, fridge & coffee maker. Bonus: a tub with jets. Just outstanding. For the price and especially for families, it’s an absolute steal. Can’t wait to come back in the summer.
