This Motel 6 is awesome. I have stayed here often, it is a preferred spot when I visit the Bay Area, I don’t even mind having to travel a little ways out from where I am going to stay here. The location is great, and the BART is very close by. The rooms have been recently remodeled. It had been several years since I’ve stayed here and recently I spent one night and I just have to say that Debby and Michelle are AWESOME! The service there was just exceptional all around. I ended up accidentally leaving some important things behind and both of them went above and beyond to find and return them to me. Their customer service is outstanding. I hope the owners and upper management will give them recognition for the great job they are doing.

Clean, safe, affordable, and pet-friendly. This was my second stay at this location. The male night clerk is one of the kindest and most helpful people Ive encountered in the industry. I was skeptical about using the app but it makes reserving a breeze, and usually save about $10-15 a night.

Great no-frills hotel if all you’re looking for is a clean bed. Great location, very close to BART. Heater wasn’t working in our room so it was a bit chilly in the winter weather. Just needed a place to sleep so it worked fine for our purposes.

I dont know where to start because I usually dont do this, but I feel it is necessary to let other people know. On Sat January 13th I stopped off the freeway having a medical issue it was raining really hard outside an I was having trouble seeing. When I got there an entered the office, there was a older lady at the desk with no shoes on who informed she had been there since 6am an please ignore the no shoes. Wasnt even a problem. I checked in and when I entered the room I was so disgusted off the smell alone it made me sick. Human piss. 🤢🤮 Idk where to even start. The room was so bad it was clear someone had resided in the room prior an was not properly cleaned. There was Human feces on the wall, there was piss dripping from the toilet. There was a brown substance dripping from the tub. The whole entire room was gross. I stayed long enough to find another hotel, and exited the room due to me being so sick I wasnt able to go express my concern at the time. I waited until Tuesday because Monday was a holiday. When I called an asked to speak to manager she came on the phone very rude an irritated I informed her of the room condition and she told me I was lying. I informed her I have pictures with the time and date on them an I wasnt lying. She informed me she could give me half my money back, which is not acceptable for me. When I expressed this I was hung up on. So if you want to chance coming in to contact with others human bodily waste or what ever else was dripping off the toilet. Go ahead. Absolutely disgusting

This is a great little hotel Price is Right close to everything in Walnut Creek they call you at the end of the day to make sure everything your room is satisfactory if you need anything they always have it available for you. the experience and the price do not match have the five star experience for a three-star price at the historical Motel 6 in Walnut Creek CA

The room was great. Clean and furnished well. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. Only problem was the pool. It was pretty gross looking. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Nicer than any motel 6 in the east, north and south bay. Would say its equal to studio 6 in terms of room quality, location and cleanliness. If comparing to studio 6, the value is %100 percent worth it. Only a few miles apart however this motel 6 is in a nicer area, plus its about 60 to 100 dollars cheaper and no deposit either.

THE WORST M6 IVE EVER STAYED AT.This Motel 6 is very poorly managed, with no security and horrible housekeeping. Ive stayed at this location numerous times and I have been disappointed EVERY SINGLE TIME.No matter what room they put you in, the towels have stains and other peoples hairs stuck to them 🤮, black mold in the bathrooms, floors in the rooms are dirty and sticky, you cant even come out of your room without smelling cancerous cigarette smoke because Management refuses to tell guests to smoke 25ft away from the building in accordance with California state law. All the parking spaces are incredibly tight and close together, so other guests will hit your car with their door and just not say anything.First time I booked a room for 3 days during Thanksgiving. After I paid for the room (which is non-refundable) they told me their water heater was broken, and I ended up not having any warm or hot water for the entirety of my stay, only freezing cold.The second time I stayed in Room 209, the shower drain was clogged up and the heater was broken. They didnt have any available rooms to move me to but said they would have their Maintenance guy look at it. Maintenance never came.Third time I stayed there I specifically requested No Room Service for the day. I then left the motel to grab some food, came back walked in my room and saw housekeeping was moving my personal blanket and clothes off the bed. All my stuff was moved around. Their policy says they are not allowed to touch any personal belongings if they are on the bed. I walked in my room and saw housekeeping moving my stuff with the same dirty latex gloves on that she used to clean and touch garbage with. When I told management about it she said that could never happen because housekeeping knows they arent supposed to do that, as if I was just making it up 🙄The next time they put me in a conjoined room next to the pool. The room has another door inside that leads to the room next door, so theyre basically connected. I was laying in my bed and all of a sudden noticed all I could smell was cigarette smoke. I got up and got down on the ground next to the conjoined door and you could smell it was coming from the room next door. I got up and gathered all my stuff and had to walk down to the front office to ask them to move me. The lady in the front office was nice and moved me 2 doors down, but she never did anything about the guy who was hot boxing a non smoking conjoined room with cigarettes. She just let him stay.Last time I stayed there, they put me in the same room I had stayed in a month prior, Room 209...The shower drain was still clogged and the heater still broken. I couldnt comfortably take a shower and the heater would only blow out cool air no matter how high you set it. Then when I was outside in the parking lot, 2 other guests who I dont know and have never met before, walked up to me out of no where, started an argument with me, said they would pray for me, then told me to shut up and then threatened to have their pitbull attack me.I went and told Debbie the Manager and she said those guests had already checked out and that they would be put on the Do Not Rent list so they wouldnt be back. The next day around 9 am, I was sitting in my car and the same crazy lady walks up to my car with her pitbull and starts yelling for her husband Here he is!. I went straight to the front office to ask Management to tell this lady who threatened to have her dog attack me to stop harassing me... Management then told me that she never threatened me and basically defended the lady who threatened to have her dog attack me for no reason.Everytime Ive stayed here at this M6 location I felt like it was a waste of money. Usually $100+ per night and its ALWAYS drama. I will NEVER go back there.Especially because of the rude delusional 4 foot tall Manager Debbie who looks like she chews on chunks of cement everyday.

The best experience of my life!!!! The staff was extremely polite, excellent customer service, the rooms were spotless, extremely quiet, available parking. Above all, most importantly, Debbie the general Mgr was extremely king, helpful, professional. She is outstanding!!! I wouldnt stay anywhere else!!!
