If any motel is a five star motel, this is it. The rooms are clean (floors not carpeted!), check in was fast, the AC worked and it was super reasonably priced. There are no bells and whistles, but honestly why would you expect bells and whistles at a motel?

Having been warmly welcomed by Nick, who was truly gracious and kind, I made my way to a nearby downstairs room.The room was absolutely spotless and the bed was so very comfora great nights sleep.Having traveled to 67 countries, and now retired as a senior Marine Officer, this Motel 6 is a truly outstanding place for families and friends too.Thank you again Nick!

Room is clearly not cleaned has bugs on the windowsill and some bugs on the bed, stained mattresses looked at a second room and was better but still a little dodgy. Walk in in the rooms are 90° and muggy. Nats flying around all outside. Management was quick to offer a second room and a refund however.

Enjoyed my stay here! Only one concern- pretty loud AC in the room, but overall good place! Clean, chill, many options for food around. Starbucks right next to the motel, which is also very convenient. I was surprised by water and snack pack for to go from the front desk. Thank you!

Expected room and facilities to be below average...but this motel six was actually very nice...not run down, bedding excellent, room in great condition and everything worked... biggest surprise was a goodie bag upon departure with water, chips and granola bar I recommend this location in Red Bluff CA

This place is trash and the owners are extremely rude and pushy when it comes to money And will rush your decision-making process or try to kick you off their private property before you can decide if you want a room or not. It’s rodeo weekend here in red Bluff, so people from all over gonna be coming into town looking for a place to settle down. I do not recommend this place they need to work on their attitudes and cleaning skills.

Keep in mind this is not a high end hotel, so dont expect resort level amenities. The service was great, the gentleman that helped me was very friendly and professional. The room was bigger than I expected, clean, in good repair, with a nice TV, good size mini fridge that did a better job than many others Ive used, decent wifi, a tiny shower but good water pressure and temp, the bed was comfortable. It came with two pillows, Im sure you could request more if you wanted. The heat worked very well. There was some distant highway noise but no sirens or anything. I am a very light sleeper and had no problems. The lighting is good, unlike a lot of hotels, and plenty of outlets. A good size kitchen nook style table and adequate storage. Laundry is available by the office.I travel for work and have therefore spent quite a bit of time in hotels, sometimes for days or weeks and I would have preferred this room 100% over some of the crampt more expensive hotels. And it is VERY affordable. Also I like the coffee. There is an outdoor pool I think, but obviously closed for the winter.Cons: no coffee maker in room, no continental breakfast, no gym that I saw (but didnt ask). But again, this is not a La Quinta Inn or whatever. There was a strange smell of smoke in the general area, stronger outside than inside. I saw no cigarettes or ash trays around, no one smoking, not sure where it was coming from. Maybe some industry in the area.Overall, a very pleasant stay 🙂👍

Owner, Nick was a great host. He accommodated all of our requests -which were a few!He was gracious and went above and beyond. The room was extremely clean, and in the morning he came to say goodbye and make sure everything was fine. Quiet location away from freeway. Pool area clean - you could tell they care about comfort and guests. The nicest Motel 6 we’ve stayed and we travel I-5 frequently!

The managers were very welcoming and kind, the newly remodeled room seemed a little spartan, but that is understandable, given the way some people are stealing things now. It was not a problem though, just an observation. The room, linens, bathroom; all were just very clean and neat, and we enjoyed a good rest. This Motel 6 is located next to a McDonalds and a Starbucks, down the street from other eateries, and easy to get into Red Bluff downtown, or back on the freeway North or South. I would definitely stay here again.

Wow! This Motel 6 is the CLEANEST I have found in at least a decade! The bed was comfortable, the location convenient, the office staff super friendly, and fresh coffee in the office in the morning. Plus our room had a refrigerator and a microwave..... something more expensive hotels dont always have. I commend this hotel on taking pride in their facility. If we travel this way again, we will definitely look to book a room again. Highly recommend!

If freeway close is your goal, then this Motel 6 is good for that. Nextdoor to Starbucks and walking distance to several restaurants. This place has one of the cleanest Motel 6 rooms I have stayed in, without the druggie traffic seen at many. Manager was super helpful and rates are reasonable. Towels were nicer and whiter than other Motel 6 locations I have stayed at.Would definitely stay here again.

Nick at the front desk was great. Je made the check in process easy. The room was clean. I even thanked a housekeeper during our check out. And told her how clean the unit was. Ample parking. Seemed pretty save. More amenities would be nice. Such as a microwave, clock radio with charging outlets, coffee maker, etc. Overall, a nice place.

I stayed in this hotel for about 6 months while my husband was working in California. Not only were they WONDERFULLY accommodating, but they were SO nice. They changed the wifi password every week, so I did have to keep asking for it, but they never once gave me any kind of attitude about anything....and I had pets. I stayed there with three small dogs and they had a great place for walking them right beside the motel. The workers we SO kind and so friendly and by the end of my six month stay I genuinely was upset to leave. After moving back home to Louisiana, my husband and I went back to California for vacation a year after we stayed there, and not only did one of the workers remember us, but they also accommodated our request to stay in the same room, that we had a year prior. People like to skip out on motel 6 and opt for a fancier hotel but this location is just wonderful and I would definitely stay here again. 100%

Very nice short stay for my fiancé and I! We came in from jersey after a late flight and drive and check in was quick and easy. There’s plenty of nearby food places and a Dutch bros coffee / cvs close by. Everything was clean and comfy for our stay. Staff and management were friendly and accommodating and they gave us a cute goodie bag with snacks and waters for the road when we checked out (: we would definitely stay again!

Very friendly service! Got a great deal on two pet friendly rooms with a large group at short notice. Front desk guy was very accommodating and helpful. He deserves a raise. Rooms were surprisingly very clean, and was very pleased with the entire experience overall. Didn’t see any shady stuff or people, would definitely visit again.

After several days on the road with back pain and exhaustion, I needed a firm bed more than anything. I was shown several rooms and I chose 211 with a new firm mattress. It was the best nights sleep I had even after staying at a nice LA hotel for a few days. I woke with a happy back and energy to finish my trip. The rooms smell strongly of disinfectant, but for the price, excellent service and comfortable nights sleep I was very pleased with my experience.

Windows were new, streak free and clean, bathroom was well stocked with towels, soap, etc. Refrigerator was clean and temperature was cold and ready to be stocked and microwave was clean. We had a long day of travel coming up and checked in early. I have mild brain damage and usually request the top floor for quiet. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and informed us that only the bottom floor was open at that time. It turned out to be real quiet. We stay exclusively at Motel 6 because of our kitten. I wasn’t the newest we have seen but everything was safe clean and secure. Thanks for leaving the light on for us.

Although it is not overly pricey, it provides all the amenities you would want from a luxury hotel. The service is swift, the staff is pleasant, and the rooms are fresh and clean. The staff here are very friendly. The location is also great since its right by two gas stations, a Starbucks, McDonalds, applebees, and right off of the highway. However, our room smelled really bad, there was a giant gap between the bottom of the door and the ground letting in cold air all night, there were feces (from both dogs & possibly humans as well) in a few areas surrounding the motel, and we found a cockroach in our room near one of the nightstands. Somewhat par for the course as far as Motel 6s go, but I would only recommend staying here if theres absolutely no other option.

.I had to pull off the road after driving 12 hours, and I was so tired I just pulled right into this Motel 6. I am very pleased with the stay so far. The people at the desk are very polite. The gentleman has gone above and beyond to be sure I have everything I need. I wound up having to stay for three nights ( snow further north where I need to go). I slept very comfortably in the bed. The room was nice and clean. The shower is nice and hot. And! You can walk right across the parking lot to Starbucks. You really can’t beat that! 😂 There is wi-fi that actually works. I have a mini fridge and microwave. And this is the best Motel 6 experience overall I’ve had in quite some time. I would recommend this location. 👍

Front desk clerk was not very nice, the floors in the room looked like they were not cleaned, sheets are very wrinkled, were they washed & changed? What hotel does not have a coffee pot in 2022, this one! I stay in hotels weekly because of my work and honestly this one I will never stay in again! Just looks & feels dirty! And just to add the shower has no pressure and when was the last time this nasty shower curtain was changed?

Well its a Motel 6 not a Hilton and people need too understand that. For the price, I got a clean room and free wifi, fridge and microwave. The guest staff at the window was very cheerfully and underatanding.. when I checked in and the owing morn I NG when I extended my stay. Theres a lot of traffic coming through the hotel, but thats to be expected. Much better than the one on hilltop in Redding. My only complaint was that I needed a bigger shower and I believe all rooms should have a bathtub. But overall it was fine for what I paid.

My room was clean & inviting, the bed was very comfortable. Bedspread had 2 very small cigarette burn holes in it but nothing to be concerned about. Staff was very friendly and professional. Only downside was that hot water for the shower was not hardly there, barely warm. In spite of that I would definitely recommend to family/friends and I myself would stay again. I was very happy here month long stay.. I was working in the area my woman and I were treated like Family. Nick at the front desk and his staff were very accommodating always checking on us making sure if we needed anything... they were there for us.. they went out of the way to do little chores for us very beautiful family...clean.. There were cameras security cameras everywhere. very safe things were close by lots of restaurants to choose from a sanctuary for plants and animals just down the road that we enjoyed very much highly recommend it..we will be back.. best motel 6 weve ever stayed at.. the pool was nice you could go out and have fun on the town and get a ride home or take the bus.great staff!!!

I can’t describe how disgusting these rooms were. I can’t believe I didn’t see more negative reviews on this hotel. Was traveling from Southern California and needed a place to stay for one night. I wasn’t expecting anything great considering this is a motel 6 but basic human standards go right out the door at this hotel. Bugs, blood on the beds, burn holes in all the blankets, soiled and stained sheets.

We stayed here long term for a job in the area rooms are super cute super clean everybody is friendly Nick at the front desk goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need and accommodate you treat you like family just visiting pool is clean several times a week everything is close by we walked to Applebees for dinner McDonalds Burger King Starbucks is out our door big truck parking so many lights and cameras everything here is safe I havent felt this safe at a hotel in a long time we have two vehicles here definitely would recommend definitely would stay again!!! There is a neat walking trail not too far from here Ive been walking every day its amazing everything is close by.pet friendly we didnt have our fur babies with us this trip but they would have loved it here and if we come back well bring them with us! Air conditioning was wonderful!

I recently stayed at this Motel while I was down in california, and it was a wonderful experience! But what really stood out to me was how when I accidentally left my swimsuit in my room (and went home) they were VERY accommodating to help me get it back. Due to the fact that I dont live in California, I was worried I might never see it again, but they tracked it down, put it in a bag, and helped make plans for me to get it back! The staff was very kind, helpful and clear. Im going back through Red Bluff again next year, and I hope we stay here again! Also, while I was there they left the pool open for half an hour longer than they normally do when we were swimming at night. They have a wonderful staff!

The motel 6 at 2385 bechelli Lane was absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had with a motel 6 it was 9:30 10:00 at night looking forward to a good nights rest after being on the road moving towing my van with the u-haul it was late enough at night where they were not going to be expecting that many more guest the horrible rude night manager order ed me to move the truck I told her I had cats in the van and wanted to be able to keep an eye out when she found out that I had cats she said were not allowed to let animals be overnight in vehicles I explained to her I had several cats that we were moving she pretty much kicked us out of the motel I did get my refund we are both senior citizen s so it 10:30 at night after driving around I did find another motel 6 on the second floor being handicapped was very difficult to have to climb the stairs Ive never been treated so disrespectfully and as a senior citizen even more so it was maddening I would avoid this location and go to the other motel 6 in Redding where we were treated so much better very disappointed in motel 6 and this callus night manager I would avoid it like the plague

Ive stayed at this hotel off n on for almost 5 years. This hotel is fantastic. The staff is nice. The rooms are clean. Most rooms are now remodeled. Theres not generally all too much drama. Every room has a fridge and microwave. Its very work travel friendly and great for long stays. Its surrounded by fast food. Theres a gas station next door and a Starbucks. Its about a mile and a half from the campground by the river, and not far from I5 So location is great. I totally give this place 5 stars. Its the best motel 6 Ive stayed at n Ive stayed in probably 75 other motel 6s across the country.

Its very nice relief when opening up the door to the motel 6 room when I see neat and clean. And everything is properly set up. I would recommend this to anybody on a budget but doesnt want to deal with horrible people or experience. The room was cool and theres a mini fridge to keep the drinks cold and food. So yeah well deserved 4 star. Wouldve been 5 if the pool was managed so people can swim in it because its hot out side.

A good distance from the Freeway! Which meant sleep!The room was clean and updated with awesome water pressure for a nice hot shower while traveling. I wanted to take a hot bath, but the front desk explained that NONE of the rooms have a tub. My room was along the back side where there is a creek down in a gully and when I took the dog out there were a Bazillion little frogs croaking! I loved it!The bed was comfy, and the room had a microwave and small fridge, as well as updated fixtures. The location is ideally located near a variety of fast food so you can get back on the road quickly. NOTE: If your are towing, which I was, parking can be a bit of a pain. The parking lot is small and there are no spots for vehicles towing, but there is a dirt lot next door that can be used for that, which you will share with Semis. I would stay here again.

Only one young lady was working when we arrived. She was overwhelmed with problems and took two tries to get us a room that fit what we reserved. Two couples had trouble getting into their rooms with their card keys and there had been flooding that day in several bottom rooms and she was having trouble remembering which rooms could not be rented.WHERE WAS THE MAINTENANCE PERSON?This single employee was actually the only bright spot upon arrival. She handled the stress with a smile and laugh...she is a great employee. The hotel owner is lucky to have her.On the other hand the hotel owner either cant or wont pay for upkeep. I would have given 5 stars but, The phone cord in our room was broken and you had to get it just right to call the office. The other room we had did not have a phone. However it had a fridge. Maybe because they were joining rooms. Neither room had a clock. You need to bring everything with you. The staff was very nice. It is hard to fine a smoking hotel but this one is, and pet friendly too. Motel 6 rooms are small, but we were only sleeping there. It was clean and had lots of ice and towels. My family was evacuated due to the CARR fire. We booked a room from you with two beds, nonsmoking (I have children). Upon arrival, we were given a room with one bed. We called the front desk and were immediately moved to a smoking room with two beds. The comforters had cigarette burns all over them and looked as if they had never seen a washing machine. The non-smoking room we paid for had definitely been smoked in. The flooring is the original click together plank that has gotten water on it so it is swollen and delaminating. The bathroom floor was disgusting. The entertainment center around the TV, which was mounted on the wall, was centered incorrectly so when you watched TV it cut the top portion of the TV off. The cable kept losing connection to the point we just turned it off. And the landline phone looked like a tweaker got ahold of it and pulled all the buttons off of it. No coffee pot, no soap. Horrible stay for $80.

A friend stayed here and I stopped by to say hello. Rooms very small, outdated and OVERPRICED! He stayed in a smoking room and got charged for cigarette burn on the old, ugly, gross bedspread that were there before! (Pretty sure he said he was charged about $90)At least it seemed quiet.

Great customer service. EZ online reservation. Great cable TV. But too many negatives: my non smoking room smelled like cigarettes; air conditioner was old and inefficient, it was around 99 degrees and the pool was green and dirty, and I had been looking forward to using it, but couldnt, and free coffee? Didnt see any. I would stay here only if there was nothing else, otherwise, next time Im heading to somewhere else.

The heater made a lot of noise, but only blew cold air. A working heater would have nice because, there was frost on the ground outside when we woke up. We were in a non smoking room, but the bathroom floor was covered with cigarette burns. There was also cigarette burns in the bed spread and curtains. All the flooring was in very bad shape. I went to the lobby for coffee at 7:30am and found it locked. Even though the sign said they open at 6. I knocked and after a couple of minutes the attendant came and unlocked door. He had pillow marks on his cheek like he had just woken up. We won’t be staying in the Red Bluff Motel 6 again.

Paid $80 for a room we didnt check into until 3am. Checkout was 11am and no late check-out offered. Also only bar soap provided in room so bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Actually was super disappointed with this stay.

I do not enjoy my stay here, the people in the room next door kept coming in and out all night and slamming their door, the walls are also very thing, could here the whole conversation all night. The room smelled funny too a nd it was dirty. But I was so tired from driving and all i had was cash and the other hotels in the area wanted up to 300 dollars for a deposit.. I couldnt believe i drove clear across the country from Georgia and never had that issue until i got to Red Bluff.. But its ok.. Me and my kids were so tired we all konked out as soon as we hit the pillows.

The room smelled really bad, it was dirty, air conditioner didnt work, I found bugs in the bed, and when I found a large suspicious stain on the bed sheets and exchanged them for clean ones, the next day before check-out the manager was knocking at my door telling me he was going to charge me for the sheets 😲. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

I have allergies to smoke so it was even worse than an unpleasant smell. There was even a guy outside a few rooms down smoking when this is supposed to be a smoke free property.The bedspread and blanket had many blood stains all over them. This was absolutely disgusting.

When the remote for the tv didnt work, I walked up to the tv to hit the power button and it fell off the wall along with the cable box. In the morning I go to take a shower and there is no hot water. Nomatter how I tried to adjust the shower, nothing but cold water would cone out. The sink had hot water, so I was at least able to clean up. So no tv to relax, and no shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. When I checked out I mentioned my complaints to the clerk. She said there was nothing she could do since the charge was already on my card. Well you could issue a refund, or a partial refund. She informed me that she couldnt do that, but the next time I stayed at that property to mention the problems I had and they will give me a discount. I mentioned there are 2 problems with that logic, 1. That was the first time in 48 years that I had been there, and 2 with all the choices of hotels at that exit...I would never stay at that property again.

We stayed at the motel 6 in Red Bluff CA. There saying is we will leave the lights on for you well we had to leave the lights on so the cockroachs wouldnt come out. This was the worst motel I have ever stayed at. Between the crappie beds that you could only lay in for a couple hours before your back would be killing you to the people that live at the motel and pretty much run the show. Its a typical motel 6 as far as the rooms are plain and cheap. But the people at this one were awsum with us. We were evacuees from the Oroville dam debacle and we stayed 4 nights. They lowered our room rent each night that we stayed and if a better room became available as people checked out, we were allowed to move. They gave us extra pillows, blankets and towels. Theres an ice machine(free), soda machine, snack machine and a laundry room. The rooms were clean and WiFi was available for free. I would definitely stay again if the need arose. Very nice family run place. Also, pets are welcome.

I checked in and went to my room and there was feces on the toilet they were kind enough to give us another room. However the front desk clerk gave us the master key to all the rooms and told us not to lose it and return it in the morning as they were unable to find a key to the new room given to us. This motel is dirty and they allow all kinds of druggies to stay there. The room was dirty the staff was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. The houskeeper accused my seventy year old mother of stealing towels. The clerk was actually taking orders from the housekeeper on how to run the front office. I would not recommend this motel to anyone as my five year old grandson found a used hypodermic needle under the bed. Staff was incompetent and rude. Stay away from motel 6 in Red Bluff CA

There was lots of other issues as well such as no landline phone in the room. The room down stairs had holes in the curtains. We normally stay at motel 6 when traveling. We had to go to California to deal with a death.

Motel 6 accepts pets and that is a plus if you are traveling with your pet, but the quality of the facility varies from what I would rate as a 2 to what I would rate as a 4. I have always found them clean and comfortable enough for 1 night on the road. And sometimes you may even find the treasure as I did in Auburn, CA....lovely facility...the nicest Motel 6 in my experience.

This is the worst Motel 6 Ive ever been in. The bed sheets were not changed from the previous guest. They were stained with spots pillows had holes in them bed mattress was holrs as well. This Motel is a drug Haven for sales of drugs it is clearly visible that the motel management doesnt care. If I had read the reviews previously I would have never booked this Motel but because we were in spotty internet connection I wasnt able to do that. You can see reviews are horrible in the year 2016 and nothing has been changed today 2017. It seems to me that Motel 6 business doesnt care either otherwise why would they let these reviews from one year ago till present continue its horrible conditions.

Since I am a disabled veteran. i appreciate a bottom floor kept when reserving a room as disabled. in the last 7-8 times i was put upstairs twice. once in Rodnerpark, CA, where we were treated to the best of the upstairs units and at coos bay, Oregon with a late reservation.

As a company some ideas to maybe re-think are the shower, the accent wall, orange can be inviting paired with the right colors an updated building look. I have stayed at Motel 6 many times over the last 43 years! Unfortunately, this motel experience was lacking in the following respects: 1. There was only one bath towel in the bathroom. 2. The TV did not come on. I called the office to report it right after checking in. While on the phone, the TV finally came on. However, the next morning, we could not get the TV to work at all. I suspect the battery in the remote control was dead.

I was displaced by the Carr fire in Redding California. When I arrived with my dog, my room was ready. As I am sure you can imagine, my stress level was over the top high and Nate, Carlos and all the ladies went out of their way to be kind, helpful and really sweet to me. Could not sleep peacefully as neighbor was playing loud music at 2-3 am and doing the thing. Management turned a deaf ear and exercised no control hence rating them bad. Despite all bells and whistles you want to have a good sleep and avoid any confrontation. I was traveling with my 10 year old son and lucky for me, kid was deep asleep with wild pigs grunting their night away. In last 3 years I have stayed at 50+ motel 6s, and this is the worst. PERIOD. Its has quick access to Restaurants and Gas stations but not worth it. Save some energy and skip this motel. If you cant find any hotel, skip this town.

Upon checking out, I asked the desk employees if all rooms lacked these features, and the response was no, that some rooms have some items, some not. This was a surprise to me.
